Each time we order from this Canton Culver’s there is always something missing in our order. We have called once we get home and the manager ALWAYS says they will replace it the next time we are there. So irritating. It is very frustrating to never get your items when you order them and eat them with the meal you ordered. It’s not worth the trouble of ordering a meal when it’s never a complete meal either missing fries, or broccoli or coleslaw or has no condiments included. I think we are done and will get our fast food from other more conscientious restaurants.
I guess I dont understand why this place is always so packed. I ordered the new Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Burger. The best thing about the burger was the garlic flavored bun. The burger itself was dry and flavorless. French fries were just ok. But the customer service was great which is why I gave this place 2 stars.
Friendly staff, but the food was mediocre, at best. My burger was decent, but the onion rings were lacking, overcooked. I ordered a strawberry shake, and it wasnt blended. There was a hard layer of vanilla vs strawberry. I had to blend it with my straw.Still, good food, but room for improvement.
Visited Friday, June 17, 2022 at 7:30pm. The restaurant floors, counters and tables were dirty. The soda station did not have root beer, the condiments were empty and ketchup area was dirty too.Ordered for in store dining. Noticed long waits for everyone, but ours was longer than new orders. Went to counter and discovered they bagged it and left it sitting for pick up. Unfortunately food was lukewarm and partner didn’t not ask for it to be remade, something I would have insisted on. Employee did not offer this solution either.It was very unorganized and there wasn’t a manager on duty to discuss with. Letting franchise know so they can address. When store opened the experience was great. This is the third time in several months that this has been sub par. Will not be back.
So disappointed. I was so happy this location opened down the street from me, now I am ready to stop going to this one, EVERYTIME I have come to this location they give raw burgers. I specifically ask for WELL done and this is what I get. Looks like Ill have to go back to the Westland location if things dont change. The people are very nice who work there the only reason for the 2 stars.
Went to get dinner through the drive through but no dinner options were listed just burgers, sandwiches and ice cream. It wasn’t until I asked the drive thru person what happened to their dinner options that he confirmed they were still available. Not sure why they weren’t listed. Ice cream was good which was delivered to our car first then the rest of our order came out a few minutes later.
Ordered broccoli and got fries.My mashed potatoes were ice cold. Told older woman at counter. Response: what were they on? Seriously.Butter with the 3 fish dinners were frozen.Fish was fantastic!Wasnt busy, 4pm Friday.Grade C- to the person who pulls the orders off the shelf and didnt read the bills.
Food was good as any of the Culvers Ive been to. Just one complaint. The floor was so nasty sticky around the soda dispenser it damn near pulled my shoes off. Please do better upkeep. Windows were dirty from kids fingers, and not just one. This place is new, COME ON!! There were plenty employees there to have had it taken care of.
The drive thru was crowded, to be expected cause of the great food. They told me they stopped making mixers, well okay then, we ordered burgers. We were the 10th car. We waited 45 minutes for them to bring out our burgers, only no burgers, just a bag of fries. I had to get out of my car and go in for my missing burgers. I wasnt the only one in line getting half their order. Never ever will I go back to the Canton Culvers
Outstanding service and quality food made correctly everytime. Ive visited several Culvers all around metro Detroit and never had a bad experience at any of the culvers Ive visited. The employees are always very friendly and the food is top notch. You cant go wrong going to Culvers.
The food at this location is usually on point no problems there. But the staff working the windows are impatient and rude. After being told I was charged for something I had a token/coupon for, she slammed the window shut without saying a word. Shorty after a lady walked over who I presume was the manager, she put in a code and got me the refund. Apon seeing my receipt I noticed that there was an additional salad that was supposed to have been taken off. This time the person who took my order came over. In a very polite way she apologized and promptly removed the charge. When I thought everything had been resolved and I was about to be handed my food. I was surprised. The same window staff who slammed the window at me, shoved a plastic bag throught drive-thru window and before I could get a hold of it, she had already let go of the bag and shut the window behind her. Leaving half of my order on the ground. I am very disappointed.
Food is good, this location seems chaotic and confused and is terribly slow. I would suggest they enable online ordering so they don’t start losing business. This was definitely our last visit to this location after many visits and hope they would improve. Still sitting past pay window in drivethru and it’s been 45min.
Took family to lunch. Good food but register staff didnt know facts which resulted in a bill that was $10 higher. Brought issue up to shift manager expecting a partial refund but she just shrugged and said it was a lack of training but took no responsibility. Very disappointed.
Not a fan of this location. My mom has had a bad experience here, my friends have had bad experiences here as have I. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because I did eventually get my food. I did not feel safe eating at this location with my treenut allergy as the staffed talked to me like I didnt know what I was talking about with my own allergy. I am allergic to cashew and pistachio, I asked for a concrete mixer with peanut butter and I swear they looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my head. At multiple other Culvers I have double checked with the staff that the peanut butter is safe and that they just need to make sure to pull fresh custard and clean the wand they use to mix with. However for some reason this was an issue here and they asked me multiple times if I had a nut allergy with a little bit of tude if Im being honest. Made me feel a little concerned about eating the mixer so I gladly passed it to my fiance without an allergy.
I went to the Canton, MI location this evening, and I would say this was the worst experience I have even received through a drive thru. The guy that took our order was rude and showed attitude towards us. We requested him to change our value baskets from medium to small, and he gave us an attitude, and acted like it was the end of the world. When we got home, the fries were all spilled in the bag. We had to hand pick all the fries and put them back into the individual sleeves. I would say go to the nearby Westland, MI location which has always given us outstanding service. This location needs an overhaul of the staff, they are very bad!!! Also, we have gone here a few times to give them a chance to improve, but they dont care. How can you not give napkins with the food in the drive thru? This type of service directly reflects the no care attitude of the management and staff of this location. Shut it down and start all over again. Culvers as a corporation needs to take this seriously and make the corrections or soon, they will have a BBB complaint on their hands.
The only reason I am giving this Culver’s a 2 is because of the food…the food was A1…BUT the service here is HORRIBLE….1st time my order was incorrect…2nd time order was incorrect…3rd time I decided because I love the food so much that I would give them another chance…BUT I decided to go in because that drive through is not good at all….always 10 cars deep and I am not just saying this just to complain. I almost never review l…so this place is new and the inside is nasty…my 3rd order 3 strikes and you are out….I go in to make sure I look at my food to make sure what I ordered is correct and my order was still rung up WRONG…such good food but poor poor service….this place is ran by a bunch of kids…that stare at you then after 5 minutes ask are you being helped…then after another 10 minutes of waiting for my order to be corrected…would you like a custard for the wait…NOOOOO just get my order right and give me my food….I will NEVER go to this Culver’s again…I will go to another one that I visit where I’ve NEVER had and issue….these places are iconic and this one is HORRIBLE!!!Corporate needs to do something about this place 😖
They were busy but not 1 employee acted rude or rushed or rushed any customer!!!! They even apologized for the wait even though they got my order out fast & everything was as I ordered it..They even gave my Son a free 2 scoop hot fudge sunday for any inconvenience..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!! They have a great staff & a owner who cares for his staff & it shows!!!!
Culvers in Canton Michigan. Worse food I have ever had. Dry over cooked paper thin burger that was crunchy on a bun that was dryer than Sundays Toast. Condiments in a quarter size area in the middle of the bun. Onion rings were more like onion chips. Well never eat at a culvers again and I recommend you look elsewhere.
Update: Filthy, disgusting, needs a good cleaning.Filled with rowdy teens who are talking about how they work here and they never change the oil in the fryers. No customer service, just filled with friends of the workers stealing free drinks from the soda dispenser, cursing, and talking about getting high. Classy and family friendly for sure...Prior: Good burgers, fries that really are crispy...and friendly service, especially for a fast food restaurant.
Horrible service yesterday, concrete mixer was basically milk consistency, forgot a burger, other people were coming in complaining they were missing things, workers were bickering at each other in front of everyone. I will never go there again, was great service in the beginning but terrible now.
Could be great but just mis managed, it’s a bunch of poorly trained teenagers that don’t know what’s going on and like one adult manager. I watched my carry out order just sit ready to be bagged while about half the staff tried to figure out how to open the register. There’s something like this going on about everytime I go here, been here about 5 times now. Don’t expect fast service
Ordered double no cheese ,gave with cheese sent back with girl ,said girl rolled eyes and gave attitude ,she came back with a single no cheese was susposed to be a double ,went up talk to manager ,he was very nice and apologized and offered free ice cream ,replaced burger
I love Culvers, and understand staff is short and people are overworked and COVID, etc... I tried to give this location a fair chance. The food just hasnt been fresh. Burgers were barely warm, runny/soggy and toppings sloppy... I dont receive a napkin, ever. The soda was flat. I dont have this experience at other locations, and will consider stopping in again if this changes. Very disappointed.
Ordered 2 fish dinners and the cod was moist and meaty. The coating was light and crispy. The fries and coleslaw were great. The tartar sauce is perfect with fish. We also got a chocolate shake that was so thick you needed a spoon instead of a straw. Amazing!! Staff was also very friendly.
This was the best Culver’s we have been to! My family came in on Christmas Eve before closing. The owner was so nice, waited on us, and told us to stay as long as we wanted, even though we got there before closing. Next time I’m in town we’re coming back! Excellent service
Amazing! Of course because the food is fresh and delicious and the dining room is yet to be opened, the lines are usually very long…that being said the times I have been there,the lines moved pretty rapidly. They have ALWAYS gotten my orders right and I usually order about 3 bags of food, having 4 hungry,picky, growing teens! And let me tell you the food is always piping HOT by the time we get home and eat! Love it here!!!
My family has been here 5-6 times since it opened. Every single time, we had missing food! The last time a manager basically said they’re new and everyone is short staffed, employees are still learning, etc. Not really an apology, just excuses and suggesting I should be more patient. Our food has been good, which is why we keep going back. Just check over your orders before you drive all the way home and have to go back.
I have had multiple issues with management at this location. I watched with my own eyes a manager assault a minor female employee. When I contacted the manager, he said he didn’t care and nothing would happen to him. So I contacted the owner and he also blew off the situation and seemed to also not care. So o contacted the police and let them know what I saw. I will be following up with corporate. I cannot believe that this type of behavior is acceptable by someone who is in a position of power. And no one in management or ownership seems to care. This type of behavior is unacceptable!
Fresh food and quicker than I expected. Staff were friendly. On previous visits I had only tried their burgers (love them), but I took their chicken sandwich for a spin. Great - now I dont know what Im going to pick up next time i visit. I suppose there are worse problems to have.
I came to Culvers for the first time today and I really enjoyed the food I got ! The drive-thru system was really nice and the young man named Conner was really helpful. It seemed like he was under the influence of something because his eyes were really red, which made me feel a little uneasy but other than that everything was really smooth and it was a positive environment. Would definitely come again !
Been here twice. Both times the workers are nasty and not helpful. This place should be shut down because the staff is rude and not helpful. Simple things like asking for no cheese is extremely difficult. Warning, Do Not go to this location. Place inside is dirty.Two times of a bad experience is enough.
I went to this location and ordered my food. The kids SEEMED “nice” and gave me my food. As I drove away I realized that they had forgotten to add just one sandwich in the bag. So I drove back and politely told them that one burger was missing. The kid at the window apologized and handed me the burger but as soon as I slowly pulled away he flicked me off. I saw that he had done that so I parked my car went inside and confronted him. After lying saying that he didn’t flick me off, the manager came and she said she was sorry. The employers are not the nicest. But the food was okay!
I understand they’re newly opened and all the workers are probably still learning and getting a hand of everything but when my dad went to get a concrete mixer through the drive thru, they told him to park and that they’ll come out and give it to him. He waited for over 30 minutes for one item, and when he got it, it was completely melted. Turns out they forgot to give us the item. The least they could’ve done is made us a new one.
0 for 3 now. Worst Culvers in the area. I know its a new location but I just spent 17 dollars on a combo and chicken strips. Bun was hard as a rock, fries were cold and gross. Chicken strip were room temp. Last time I was there I was missing food. Train your staff before you open. Not driving back at 8 on a Saturday. Zero stars. Tried a 4th time, against my better judgment. Fries still soggy( even asked the guy at the window to please check order). Burger and strips. Not hot. Guess I will drive to Westland for hot food.Let me know if ownership changes. Still zero stars.
This has been my third time going here. The first time, the burger was burnt and the fries were soggy. I figured this was due to it recently opening. The second time they completely forgot a burger, even after I asked them if it was in there. I drove all the way home before realizing, so I had to go back and get another one. The most recent visit was the worst. I went there to pick up ice cream for my kids. The line went fairly quickly but when I got it, it was completely melted. The entire thing was a liquid. I went into the building and told them to remake it. The young man working there, I think his name was Youssef, told me it looked fine to him. It was completely melted. I then said this was not what I paid for and he said with an attitude, “not my prob.” I was shocked by this. I demanded an apology, to which he chuckled and rolled his eyes. Another employee came over, and I explained to her the situation. She went and made it, with no hassle. I hate to leave a bad review since the workers seemed to be working hard, but Youssef was exhibiting unacceptable behavior.
Workers are amazing. Definitely deserve a raise. All of them were working hard and were polite regardless of how overwhelmed they were. Chatham, the cashier, was extremely polite and helpful. I gave this establishment 4 stars out of 5 because it seemed extremely busy and the food took a while to come out, but I don’t blame that on the workers because the place was crowded and the food was going fairly fast for how many people were ordering. Regardless Chatham was amazing. Props to him and all the other workers.
Check your change and your food before you leave!!!!! Should be able to subtract 8.25 from 20.25 in your head, if not the amount is on the register, not sure if that cashier was trying to tip herself or what, but I usually only tip the people that bring the food, not just have extra money taken out and then be given cold old food, after being given the wrong food. Also, rhey took back Im assuming to give to the correct customer, so covid regulations are not being followed here just so everyone knows and is aware in case they have health concerns. I get that theyre a new location and still learning but oh my gaaaahhhhh..... Im sure he doesnt know his fries were touched my someone that changes diapers all day lol
Been here a few times. I always order a chocolate malt with whatever I food I get. Yesterday Conner took my order and was super pleasant until after I stepped back. He took his mask off and was hovering over food items yelling at people. I love culvers because of their strict mask policies. I know masks dont make everyone happy but it makes me comfortable being immunocompromised. Then I got my malt except it wasnt a malt. It was chocolate custard in a cup. I brought it to conners attention he shrugged and said oh well. If I wanted frozen custard I would have ordered it. This is the 3rd time this location has messed up my malt. I dont understand how a chocolate malt is so difficult.
Been to this location 3 times now.. absolutely the worst. Dont get the food ordered, food is not cooked thoroughly, have to wait forever for order.. try to call about it and phone is ALWAYS off the hook and busy. For a new location, it is the worst! Spent over 50 dollars on the order this time and it was completely messed up and horrible!
I understand that this is a new location. With that being said I have stopped at serval different culvers over the years threw out Michigan. The mess I could see threw the drive thru window was disgusting. No direction just a bunch of kids not knowing what they were doing. This location will need a complete make over from upper management ASAP. I dont have photos but, honestly I wouldnt eat there.
I tried ordering and workers were terrible. Most laughed and fooling around . I believe it was Hassan who told me to leave and he didn’t care about taking my order, I refused. He finally takes my order and they gave me the wrong order. Hassan was being very inappropriate. Worst food I have ever had
This is the second time Ive been to this culvers location and its terrible. Ive been sitting in line since 7 and its 7:40 now and there are still at minimum 12 cars ahead of me who havent moved in almost 20 minutes. I cant even leave, i dont even care about my food i payed for i just want to leavr.t want to leave.

2022-06-05I love Culver’s. Unfortunately, the new location in Canton, cannot seem to get it together. I fully understand the situation with staffing and empathize which is why I waited until the third time to post. This time my (and my son’s) double deluxe with the works minus onions ended up with basically nothing on it. I tried calling maybe 10 times but never an answer. So I drive all the way back and request new burgers made according to my order. They check my receipt (no one apologizes) then hand me a bag of condiments. Wow. Just wow. I try to stay positive but I can’t here. I didn’t even mention that I ordered milkshakes and they just tap us cups of ice cream. I know it’s tough but the wheels are off this wagon. This is a complete management failure not high schoolers. They only know what is taught, trained and lived by this organization.

2022-05-20I ordered from there on 5/19/2022 at 9pm..the meat on my burger is burnt, super thin, and hard. I paid for a double and the patty is not even a single patty. There was no ketchup or mayo on my burger. Hands down the worst culvers around. 0 star!

2022-02-26On a Friday night, they were out of almost every ice cream flavor on the menu. Or may be the workers just didnt want work the last hour of the shift. They only could do the banana split & it was melted & dripped all over my car. I went back & found out why. The place is run by a bunch of poorly trained teenagers.

2021-11-25Went here with some friends. We got sandwiches and cheese curds with frozen custards for dessert. The staff was really friendly and the food was brought to our table, everyone enjoyed their food and the custards were yummy. We will definitely go again. The place was very busy but we still had timely service!

2022-02-01Obligated to give 5 stars on the basis of just how incredibly well I was treated just now. We ordered our burgers with the works, not realizing thats actual code word for a specific set of topics that doesnt include tomatoes. The employee overheard our surprise (lack of tomatoes) and immediately ran over apologizing and offering to remake our burgers or at least bring us the desired ingredients. Very pleased with the food and the service here; great job!

2022-02-01We have tried this place 4 times now and they messed up every single time. Either forgot something, wrong shakes, forgot a item etc. I get that everyone is short staffed. So I figured lets try to go on a Tuesday a 1115 and wont be to busy...still had to pull forward after I had paid and made sure I asked for my drink before I pulled up this time. To come home woth no top bun on my chicken sandwich that was the last straw.

2022-04-13Ill start with the good I suppose. The burger was fine and the fries were hot. No issues with that.Now then, I didnt want those fries. As soon as I got to the window, I politely asked if I could change my fries to onion rings. The cashier looked confused and instead of grabbing a manager or yelling back to the kitchen, told me she cant change it. Ive worked in food service for several years, including a chain known for its customer service, so I know this is unacceptable and very unprofessional. Usually I go to a different Culvers but this one happened to be closer. Never again. The team at the store I usually go to would never slack like that.

2022-07-04Had a wonderful lunch here the other day. Clean location, great food and the staff was very friendly. The assistant manager, Logan was extremely nice and checked on us to make sure our order was okay. Appears to be a very well run location.

2022-05-30Very good, fresh and always filling. Everything is good here and I mean everything. Their burgers fries, onion rings, pretzel bites, cheese curds, root beer, etc. I could go on and on. Oh yeah and their ice cream 🍨,🤤. Anyway, if you go here you wont be disappointed. Everything is good, except some customers that dont understand how the drive thru works there.

2021-12-11Very disappointing, go to another location. I waited a long time thinking I’ll get fresh burgers. All 4 burgers were very cold, dry and not fresh at all. What a terrible experience at this location.
