This is a FANTASTIC company and anybody who has anything to say otherwise is simply mad because they dont make their water payments on time. I have had the luxury to witnesses the employees of this company in action first hand and I must say that everything they do is something short of incredible.I have seen them make payments for veterans who could not afford to make the payments themselves during christmas time. I have seen them negotiate with customers about their bills and resolve issues in 10 minutes or less. I have seen them work late hours and holidays in order to resolve client issues. All of which makes me happy and proud to support small businesses, not only in the state of Michigan, but throughout the nation.Now, I dont know who all of these people are on here posting these terrible things about D & B Billing Services, Inc., but I will argue with you till I am blue in the face about how amazing this company is.... oh, and the woman that was on here talking about my autistic son and nonrefundable money her money was refunded and her check was in the mail within 15 minutes of her phone call...So come on people........How about we remember what it really means to be an American.Start paying your bills on time and you wont get late fees.and if there is an issue with the company... pick up the phone and call them... and they will help resolve your problem... dont just vent to google about it.

For quite some time, I always received my bill so late in the mail, sometimes with 3 or 4 days to send the payment out, so for a while I always sent it out with the late payment included not knowing whether or not if my bill gets there on time or not (and if it does get there on time, Im unaware if they charged me me that late fee or if it that extra 5$ rolls over to my next bill). I was not aware that I could send my water bill out in the mail if I havent received the bill by a certain time either. Every time Ive called, the lady on the phone has been rude and snappy. Worst customer service, too.**Update** I always pay my water bill on time, and always send it out super early to ensure it gets there on time. The time it takes for me to get my bill is around the same every month now, at least by the 5th, sometimes the 8th (I called about this issue about a year ago stating I always received my bill late. I used to get it on the 16/17th of the month when the bill is due on the 18th, and ALWAYS had to pay the late fee and they blamed the Post office on it getting there late, and then surprise surprise, it started coming in on time).I live in the UP, and according to the post office, it only takes roughly 3-4 days for it to get there from where Im at. Whenever it gets to the company, it can take anywhere from 1 week to a month (its only been cashed on the 18th one time for me; otherwise, all other times my check has sat there) for them to cash my check for my monthly water bill. I was directly told on the phone that they make 2-3 trips a week to the bank, and I still have no understanding as to why it takes up to 3 weeks for them to cash my check. Its certainly frustrating when they make that many trips to the bank per week and it still takes a long period of time for my check to be cashed.

Horrible customer service, our monthly bills are always late and often never arrive at all, they have a knack for losing customers checks when we mail them in but then charge an extra $10 to pay it over the phone or online. Everyone in this neighborhood hates this billing company.

Worst and rudest customer service people ever encountered. I have nothing positive to say. Sad really. They blame everyone else for the mail. Never not paid my bill, but sent in payment they claim they didnt receive, but never called or sent any notice of any kind (this they blamed on post office) but my payment not reaching them was my fault???? Shut my water off again no shut off, hell I didnt even receive a bill, I spoke with them three times in less then a week, but nope still turned it off, how can you not work with people? This was not my fault. Then if I pay the office it never fails I get a shut off notice that they charge you for so who is really running the place, who knows. So for those who say its being mad cause we arent paying the bill nope its not its lack of communication on their part.

Well here we go again. This company has real issues. Employees pocketed my money and claimed that I had heart attack. My bills were paid in cash and upon a recent visit to pay this employee was still working. Theyve now turned off my water and claimed I had a leak upon looking into the incident my water was turned off for someone elses house leak in my neighborhood. I would never recommend this company and its services

Hands down the worst customer service Ive ever experienced for utilities. Theyre rude, lack professionalism, and any sort of customer rapport. They dont care about their customers because they realize theyre our only choice. Its pathetic and a crime that the fee to pay over the phone is $10, but I dont have a choice because 2 of my money orders have miraculously come up missing and Ive been charged multiple late fees because of this. Its interesting because every other company gets the money orders on time and I dont have any issues with them.Avoid D&B Billing if you have ANY other options. They will screw you over.

6 years dealing with this company billing for my water service and every single month I receive the bill either the day before or the day it is due. I call to let them know - they say it’s a Post Office issue and are RUDE about it, could care less, “it’s not my problem” attitudeI’m sure they are all sitting in cubicles just waiting for someone to call to say “oh well”ZERO stars would be best here

Asked for a copy of my bill, the lady told me no she works for my old landlord and refused to give me a copy of it. Where I used to live they had no water meters and only went off what the landlord said. Some had bills as high as $800 a month for a water bill! Late on sending out bill statements. Rude and very unprofessional! They wanted to charge me money to get my bill statement after refusuing to give it to me. I said I would pay it and the girl then put me on hold and hung up!

Have been paying into these folks for 7 years. Suddenly our bill jumps to 3.5 times the norm. We investigate. No leaks. Subdivision was involved. I attempt to discuss possible options. No answer so I leave a message. When my call was returned by one of their only 2 employees. She lit right into me. Never once Hurd a word I said. Told me to take it up with sub. Very unpleasant and definitely unable to understand accounting. Simple math from 3 consecutive 24hour readings. Proved no excessive water flow. And I was only trying to find out what the charges were. We never got to that when she hung up on me. Pathetic excuse for a business rep.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to sue this company. My high functioning autistic son lives in Arbor Woods in Ypsilanti. We paid his water bill in advance. Now that this company no longer handles that community, they have advised me that the credit on the account is non refundable. So, they are keeping the money without providing service.We will be taking legal action against this company and suing not only for the balance which they are illegally keeping, but for punitive damages. I will update this post once the case is over.
