Wish I could share pictures, but we gobbled up every bit of those blizzards. They never disappoint. There were about 20 people in the drive thru line (not even kidding) so I though we were going to wait at least a half hour, but man it only took 15 minutes for us to get our ice cream...so quick! They also have an app and curbside pickup for faster service! Love this location, the kids there are always nice and polite.
Went there with the grandkids after soccer. When the wife told me it was drive-through I said, Over my dear body. But it turned out to be fast and efficient service and the caramel and sea salt flurry was interesting to say the least. A lot easier to eat sitting in your car rather than wrestling with crowds inside.
I had a bad experience here years ago, just started coming back at the beginning of this year, and I can truly say things have changed tremendously. Blizzards are made great, management is awesome, and Team Members are fast and friendly. Just want to say- Keep up the Phenomenal Job.
This place is terrible. Went in during a slow time on a Wednesday and ordered a Thin Mint Blizzard and a small cone. All was fine. The next time we went was during a busy period. There must have been 8 employees working. One tossing a pencil in the air while people were lined up to the door. Ordered the same thing. The Blizzard was mint, but had now ingredients like before. They set it on the counter and a group of customers have to figure out what belongs to who. Again plenty of employees and half were doing nothing. Ok went again during a slow time and ordered a Slush and a small cone. The Slush was so sweet I couldnt eat it. Finally went back for the last time. Slow period. Order was ok, but a guy walking around appeared to be a manager or owner had to walk into eating area and pick up papers while employees stood around. Hmmm. That along with the RAP music was enough. Not going back!
We ordered an Oreo blizzard and a Drumstick blizzard with extra pieces through the drive through. The Oreo blizzard barely had any Oreos in it. The Drumstick blizzard was the real disappointment. Instead of the extra pieces we paid for, all we got was some vanilla soft serve with peanuts and chocolate shavings. The guy who made our order obviously didn’t know what he was doing. Took two bites and tossed it because it wasn’t worth the calories. Really frustrating.
Terrible and a horrible staff, We went to order a cake for my daughters birthday. we are right in front of the counter for 50mins and no one wants to take the order and of course there are 6 staff standing in front of you. When we asked for a help, they ignore you. I guess if you want to blow your kids happiness on a birthday cake order this would be the place to go.
Like I always say with a franchise you can expect the food to be pretty much the same across the board. What makes a franchise stand out and what we are reviewing is the customer service and this location definitely hits the mark. The staff is comprised of mainly 16 to 20 something year olds but they do a wonderful job at remaining positive and having fun while doing their job. I highly recommend.
Horrible place. I was in the drive through so OBVIOUSLY I was driving and needed things in a tray. They shoved cones and a sundae through the window one by one lol..I was like really? What am I to do with that. So I asked for covers and a tray. They had no covers for the cones! So how is someone supposed to drive with loose cones melting and dripping around loosely in a tray that does not hold them properly? I had to ask for a refund and then that took forever..they didnt know how to refund someone. My god what a ridiculous experience! Never again...
The last three experiences were horrible. 3 cars ahead of me in the drive through and a good half hour wait. Id leave but there is no way to pull out of line. The next drive through experience with one car ahead of me was easily 20 minutes. Just today a simple order of a chocolate soft serve cone and their machine wasnt working. Had to wait for the employee to figure out how to give a cash refund. Not sure why I continue to give them my business? I will be reconsidering.
My banana split blizzard was melting and overfilled. They put a lid on it, but there was no hole in the top. Parked nearby to eat. Icecream exploded on my hands, shirt, pants and seat when I took off the lid.. Good thing I was planning on going home after anyway. Wife ordered Oreo blizzard but got brownie batter blizzard instead. Didnt want to wait in the drive thru or go inside to have this corrected. Wife feels nauseous now after having four spoonfuls and figuring out why it tasted wrong. How sad is it that we went out to treat ourselves, and now our evening is ruined instead?
I went there around 730pm on a Saturday night. We stood in line to order for over 10 mins and none of the workers acknowledged us. Many made eye contact as they walked by to handle online or drive thru, but no acknowledgement (let alone ETA) on when we would be served. Terrible, we took our business to Sonic instead.
Absolutely gross!! Very dirty so many people working there yet NOBODY cleans and non of the orders are ever right!! There was a bug is my ice cream and when I asked to speak with manger .. The manger was very rude! A brunette.. she slammed money on counter when we asked for a refund.. Never going there again what a shame. The city needs to come out and rate them. Not SAFE
Worst customer service ever. They ignored customers waiting in line inside while moving the drive thru line very quickly. When asked if they were going to serve the people waiting in line inside, the person who was perhaps the shift manager said they can wait, we will get them when we get to them.
Ordered curbside and waited 30+ minutes for it be brought out. Tried calling and was hung up on. Waited a few more minutes and called again and was hung up on again. Finally I decided to go into the store and get it and they were just then beginning to make it. once I got back to my car noticed my cup had a hole in the side which everything was leaking out of.Very disappointed. Also couldnt find any of marshmallow filling in my Rocky road Blizzard.
I called Wednesday to order 2 cakes to pick up on Saturday evening, the worker had a bad attitude, she rudely said, we are not taking any cake orders, we are very behind. She said there are cakes already made in the store you can purchase, I had specific cakes I needed so that was not a solution, so I went to another ice cream shop and got my cakes. What a directive to tell customers , take no cake orders....
I love coming here, they always have good ice cream, but a while ago I saw one of there employees being slightly offensive to a costumer, I could see in the face of the costumer they looked very uncomfortable. I should leave a low star rating but I won’t because The employee looked like a highschooler and I’ll let it slide because there very young. The management should have higher control.
Stopped by here this past weekend and was surprised to see the limited ice cream options. With how terrible the Canton Coldstone customer service is, I wanted to get ice cream here but Im not sure when they went over to mainly iced drinks. Regardless, the Orange Julius shake I got was decent. There seemed to be a ton of employees and it was a mess as theyd bring out orders that no one had ordered and just ended up throwing them away. Might go back if Kroger doesnt have better choices.
Stopped by to get ice cream. Waited in line for 10 minutes which no one was taking orders and the people in front of us stated that they had been there a long time. There were 5 teens working and not an adult in sight. I even saw one of them near the drive-thru leaning against the counter doing nothing. Poor management of time. There was enough people there to cover the people there and move that line. We left.
I am very frustrated with this DQ! We drove up at 8:50pm and was waiting in the drive through. While waiting in the drive through it turned 9pm and they shut off the board lights and would not take anyone’s order in the drive through. If I was inside waiting to be served they would of took my order. However if you’re in drive through they just turn off the lights on the board. I don’t understand the difference!! Some of the people inside still had not place there orders but yet they were served. Poor management if this how the business is run!
Went there tonight and would never go back. Paid almost 10 dollars for something that I could of got better at McDonald I got a pecan mudslide very very little ice cream one little squirt of sauce and 4 pieces of pecans. When I asked the guy what the hell I was paying for her said thats all you get have a good day we have a long line. Very very rude employers especially waiting in a 30 min line. Would never go back again.
My experience started off bad but ended good. It was a discrepancy with my app and our wait time and it timed out. I was told l couldnt get it at that point after l had driven 8 miles to get there. Theres no DQ close to my home. I was very disappointed. After my fiance negotiated with the manager, she softened and discovered that she could do something to get me the deal. In the end, she apologized and I forgave her. I got the deal and l was given two coupons for two free blizzards. I really was happy after that and walked out with a smile.
Visited on a busy, hot day (Friday after 4th of July). Inside was a queue of about 15 - 20 people. Only 2 staff serving. Who were they serving? The people in the cars in the drive thru. Queue didnt move for about 10 minutes. Of course people in the drive thru have priority over the customers in the store. Left after 10 minutes and bought bucket of ice cream in Meijers.
Went in to get ice cream because the drive thru was super busy. It was raining out that day. As soon as I walked in I wiped out. On the wet floor. Two old ladys came over and helped me up as tears filled my eyes as the pain hit. NONE of the workers stopped, I stood there for another 5 or so minutes trying to get my composure I was embarrassed. Just watching them work away. NEVER have been treated so bad. I fell in your store and you TOTALLY ARE IGNORING IT HAPPENED. I left and my bf called the manager he was rude and said there was wet floor signs up.. Get some real help with not ignorant management!
Makes me very sad to only give 2 stars especially when I was a frequent flyer, but the last 5 times Ive been here the wait is ridiculous & there wasnt that many people in line or the drive thru..I ordered 2 large Ice cream cones with sprinkles & what I received looked like 2 small cones with literally 20 sprinkles on them & when I mentioned that I ordered & was charged for 2 larges the girls behind the counter said I got what I ordered when I clearly didnt!! Menchies & Culvers are more expensive but at least I get what I order!!!!!!
Gross practices. I sat and ate my ice cream while watching the manager handled cash then immediately refilled the plastic spoons and touched the spoon part of the spoons. She then worked more, handled more cash, was scooping berries into a sundae, some spilled out, but then picked up the spilled berries with her bare hands (no gloves) and put them back in the container. (And this was a manager, one who is supposed to train others, lead by example.) Another employee handled cash, then made an ice cream cone, handling the edible cone itself without a pre-wrapped paper, not even using hand sanitizer. Very gross. Was in there for 20 minutes and counted 0 employees washing their hands, not even once, not by any of the employees. I counted 7 people working tonight, of which time there was always someone not at the register taking orders, a very slow process to say the least. On top of all of that, my sundae was made wrong. BTW, read through the negative reviews, management/owners have not responded to a single one. Theres no care here. There are dozens of different ice cream venues in the Canton/Plymouth area, I would suggest going to another one. I will be.
This DQ has come a long way from the day it opened, the cashiers are becoming faster and competent. They actually seem like they are enjoying their work. Today my kids got us an anniversary cake, and the ladies added a little wink ring to the cake. And it really made it personally and brought a smile when We saw. DQ is like a happy place or a break from norm, and this stuff looks like are trying to really work hard doing it.
Were new to Canton and I went to pick up a couple of desserts. They have none of the desserts that are common at the Dairy Queens around where we moved from; Turtle Sundae, Chocolate Rock Sundae or Strawberry Chocolate Waffle Bowl. They only have the Peanut Buster Parfait or Banana Split. If, however, you are looking for a Blizzard, they are all about those.I realize that it is early in the season and people are probably being trained, but they seemed a little confused about what everyone was supposed to be doing.The prices seemed a little higher than a typical Dairy Queen.
Decided to give it a go a few months ago and they messed up 2/4 items. I messaged support and they invited me back to give it another try and those two items would be on them. I did so today and again, another messed up blizzard. A completely different one. Unfortunately I won’t be returning again.
Drive thru line backed up for 20 minutes. I think they made our ice cream as soon as we placed the order because by the time we got to the window it was halfway melted due to the heat. Of course it didnt last until we got home. Ice cream soup wasnt what I had in mind.
Horrible customer service. Very rude. My family has given them more than enough chances and every single time we have gone they either mess up the order or are very rude. Ive worked at a Coldstone and know how it can be sometimes but the way they treat people is ridiculous. Looks like were going to start going to Baskin Robins.
The ice cream has no shape or texture to it and is watery. Then i ordered a few blizzards and they placed them in a drink carrier and when receiving the ice cream they tossed it at me causing the ice cream to spill onto me and in my car. Then the employee said immediately, not my fault
Went and got a few blizzards that I was obviously getting to go. Just set then diem in front of me, no lids, no spoons, no carrier, nothing. Whenever I went before I know it was after 8, because I have kids that go to bed at 8 and I always get something after they go to bed. Now I go, and theyre closed at 8, everyday! Thats way too early in my opinion, I want to get something myself, I basically cant.
This was terrible today was free small ice cream.. You have to download the DQ app in order to get your free SMALL ice cream and buy something... RIP OFF😂😂😂😍... Down load the APP and DELETED the APP😂😂😂😂😍... What a waist of my time.. READING IS FUNDAMENTAL 😂😂😂😂😂... So, not worth it unless youre a DQ fan which Im NOT😂😂😂😂😂...
Only issue that keeps it from being 5 stars is the fact then when I order a slush float - they dont make sure the flavor syrup mixes with the icy part, so I end up with vanilla ice cream on top of a REALLY sour puddle of super strong blue raspberry flavoring with about 2-3 of unflavored icy slop at the bottom of the cup.
Got the cup of ice cream scoop it up and found hair in it.Came back and told the guy who work there can I have another one bc I found hair in my ice cream.He didn’t say anything to me turned away through it to trash can hardly go inside made another cup for me and it like half less than what I supposed to get but I didn’t really care bc my kid don’t finish it all anyway, the young kids who work there started look at me whispered rolled eyes and laughed.WTH ...they acted like I made a big deal about ice cream with hair in it.so mad ever come back there again
They dont know how to make a banana split in a cup. They crammed it into a small cup and said heres another cup you probably wanna split it up. When they normally just put it in a large up and she was rude about it. My brother and his girlfriend got Blizzards and they were melted and dripping all over.

2022-05-28Horrible! Entire staff has not a clue what they are doing. Asked if they still made Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzards. They said yes. Got to the window and what they handed out the window certainly looked nothing like what we have ever previously ordered. Asked the incredibly ignorant young man at the window what was in what he handed to us and he had no idea. What? Found out after 5 minutes, after everything else was melting, what was in it. Young people, it is not rocket science to make ice cream treats. Learn. And stop worrying about getting a minimum wage increase. You dont deserve it.

2022-06-25I would avoid this location in Canton, MI. Went through the drive thru today and received a snickers blizzard with no candy pieces in it and this is not the first time that has happened. I would recommend going up the street to Culvers. They are generous with their toppings and you get a larger size product for less money.

2022-03-14The employees at this Dairy Queen are cheerful and helpful. It was a little bit hard to hear to order because the music was loud and the blizzards were being mixed in the background, and I got my blizzard but my son did not but they tasted delicious and we left happy.

2022-07-02I had the worker named ‘Makenzie’ at the front counter and she was a pleasure! She was polite the whole time and my blizzard was definitely good. I wasn’t a fan of DQ at first but I may be now, she’s a great addition at this location.

2022-02-11At 4:00 pm today I stopped in to buy a birthday cake. Two people working, both saw me, one stood right in front of me then walked away. I waited, no one spoke to me.... so I tossed the cake back in the cooler and walked out. If youre an owner and you read this get rid of those two losers!!
