We could not be happier with the service and work provided by D&W. Our salesman met us at the show room early on a Saturday morning to show us windows and doors in person and was patient and so helpful. Our installer was INCREDIBLE! He too was patient, but also went above and beyond to explain and offer suggestions. Our experience far exceeded our expectations and we are so happy with our new windows and doors!
My husband and I recently had our bath and shower redone by D & W. Gage and his son Eric (better known as the father and son team) did an excellent job. They were professional and proficient. We are very pleased with the work they completed in just one day. We would also like to thank Zack our salesman and John the project manager for walking us through the process from beginning to end. This is our second time using D&W for a home improvement project, once for new windows, and once for a bathroom install. We love our new windows and bathtub/shower surround! From the receptionist, sales person, project managers, plumber, and installation experts, every person we worked with was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. John of D & W responded in a timely manner concerning our shower warranty. Also keeping us informed during the process. Shower installation done by Jake and Keith was very thorough. D&W put a new roof on our very old and very complicated house. The roofing team showed up a little after 8AM each day and left around 5PM each day. They were professional, they took VERY good care of our landscaping, they cleaned up after themselves, and they really seemed to care about their work and about my family. I would highly recommend D&W Windows and Sunrooms for any roofing needs.
We had a great experience with D&W putting in our patio door wall . Our salesman, Ben, came over and did a great job explaining the job process and what we would receive. He was very personable and did not push us at all. Robert, our installer, worked so hard, and finished the job in a professional, timely matter. The price was great and we were quoted 4 weeks until install and we had the door installed within 2! We absolutely recommend D&W and we are going to use them for our future window installation. I had my bathroom tub replaces with a shower enclosure. It is absolutely beautiful. The installers Jake and Levi from J-Rock Home Improvements were FANTASTIC. They were very clean, and paid attention to every detail. 5 stars for sure!!!!
D & W replaced our tub shower with a walk-in shower. They did and excellent job. Very professional. They covered the floors with tarps to keep the floor clean. They kept us updated on the progress. They even asked where we wanted the shelves and grab bars. The salesperson also did an excellent job of explaining the job and all costs involved. Would highly recommend them for walk-in shower replacement.
We purchased a walk in shower on January 4, 2022. Our service was great from the salesperson Brian Riley to the installation done by Jake & Keith. Everything was completed on time. The installers did a great job from clean up to fixing messy pipe lines. The shower is great quality and looks amazing.
Great customer service during sales, installation, & follow up. No high pressure fast talking sales reps either. Quality is spot on. They installed our windows, patio slider; plus 2 walk in showers to include removing all the old demo trash. Both projects took only 1 day apiece. I had an excellent experience with D&W from start to finish! Everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and professional ... and in this Covid era, everyone adhered to safety measures! D&W was priced very reasonably but more importantly, D&W windows were the BEST of the 4 estimates I received ... and bonus, Michigan made windows! I have to give a big shout-out to the installation crew, who clearly were very experienced and worked diligently to replace, trim and clean up all 14 of our original 1953 windows in less than 6 hours on a chilly December day. I had an awning put on my home and have added to it 3 times. They have been so awesome to work with. Always cleans up afterwards. I also had a shower installed. I absolutely love this shower. It’s huge and made we’ll. Zach and the Crews were amazing.

D&W installed a Bath wrap about a year ago and we recently ran into some issues. I made a phone call and was quickly connected to the Bath Manager John. He has been extremely helpful going over and above to solve our problems. We would highly recommend D&W. They stand behind their products!
My brother has used D&W Three times in the past . All quality work... I needed a 16 foot by 20 foot cover over my deck. They installed a nice cover awning 6 inches thick .looks good and a nice install. Im happy with the workmanship and their installers. Great Job.

I had a new shower from D&W nstalled in my manufactured home by J-Rock Home Improvements. Levi and Jake Kneuss were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They explained every step of the job to me, and cleaned up entirely afterwards. It was pricey, but Timely, and these days thats a plus. And it looks beautiful.

We were annoyed because of the time it takes to get windows installed, but thats just the way it is these days! After 3 months of waiting, D&W sent Jody. He sure does take pride in his work! He was polite and professional. He was respectful of our home. He called me over regularly to explain the installation process. Awesome windows and price! Very high quality windows and installers. They did our whole house in two working days (11 Windows in all). Finished fit and installation was top notch. In addition to that, heating bills are lower and outside noise is significantly reduced. These are really nice windows and have had 0 issues with them in the 3 years weve had them. Windows slide nicely and hold in place. Screens are a perfect fit and tight to the frame keeping out any bugs. Double hung tilt in for easy cleaning too.
If 10 stars was a option D and W windows would most definitely get them. My father suffered a stroke and had to have tub removed and walk in shower put in. Did contact form online and was contacted in less than 24 hours by a very professional rep (Mary I believe). Then comes Noah for consultation and his goal wasn’t to get as much money as he could it was to make sure my father got what he needed at a great price. Dave followed up Noah after the decision was made. Measurements and install date given and any other questions that I needed answered. They were really busy and install was 30 days out but it was worth the wait. Eric and Gage arrived right on time 8:30am very professional and explained everything that would be done and how long it would take. I was also further impressed by the cleaning they did afterwards it looked like they hadn’t even been here. And they were done at 3:30pm. Explained proper cleaning to not void warranty and left us with a smile 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Sorry I don’t have a b4 pic.
The guys that did our addition,(paul) and Co worker,were fabulous...he always kept me up on what was going on,answered all of my many questions. We are so happy with the work that they did...they are awesome at what they do!

This is a before (white aluminum) and after (charcoal grey vinyl with sterling grey trim) picture of the siding job D&W did a few months back. The entire process went better than expected, the installation was the best part. Took 3 days and our home looks wonderful now!! Thanks a million D&W! Can’t recommend hiring them for a siding project enough.
We would highly recommend D&W to anyone, There were some glass problems (mostly with the tempered glass that they have to buy from outside vendors) that were addressed quickly, Our windows were very difficult to remove: the old glass had to broken out by breaking with a hammer, (Worst windows to remove that I have had in sixteen years.said Johnny, the younger installer.) I did not expect the level of workmanship of both the windows and the molding of the finished product.

The entire experience was good. Salesperson (Heather) was very informative and answered all of my questions. Installation was sooner than expected. Installers were very respectful of my house, were informative about how the windows work, and answered all my questions. Also, the Installation took less time than I expected. Altogether, a very positive experience. AND, the cost was less than I had anticipated.
We shopped window companies for over a year trying to find the best combination of product quality and price, which was very complicated. We felt that D&W was the best option, a local Michigan family-owned business. We liked meeting with Jake, the grandson of the original owners, who made the sales process easy to understand and answered all of our questions clearly. We ordered 23 windows for a large lake house in Lake Orion. The installation team that came out was excellent - Chris and his guys were timely, polite, fairly clean, and attentive on daily basis with checking in regarding progress and our satisfaction which each step. They even caulked a spot of masonry (that they saw while up on scaffolding) that appeared to be causing other problems with our drywall near a very large window that was being replaced. Any issues of concern were resolved quickly and to everyones satisfaction, very professionally. Would recommend and hire again.
I really love my new bathroom they took their time did very well explaining what they were going to do. Im so happy about the quality of work that Jake Kneuss and his friend did. I felt very comfortable conversating with the both of them. I know someone who needs work done I wouldnt hesitate recommending Jake and his buddy to get the job done and on time. They were very nice and polite. I wish that I can rate them a 10 for a job well done.
We were in need of eleven new windows for the whole house. D&W windows gave us the best deal for windows and their contacts and installation were friendly and curious. After all the windows were installed, all we needed was a screen replaced. The windows have been a wonderful enjoyment for the last four months. We have been looking to replace our windows for the past couple years. we had 3 different companies come for estimates. When we finally decided to commit to the purchase of 17 windows this year we called D&W. Only to find out that this is where we should have started. They sent Noah out to give us an estimate. Remember we already had 3 estimates, and were impressed with a couple of them, and also impressed with the quality as it was explained to us with a couple of them. Noah explained to us why we should make our purchase from D&W without bashing the competition at all. Long story short Noahs estimate fell in the middle of the four that we had. The crew that came out to do the install, were very professional and did an amazing job. Would like to have this kind of crew on every project. After complete we are convinced that we went with the right company.Thanks to everyone involved. We had windows installed this year on two separate occasions. We had half done in winter and half in the fall. Both times the installers were friendly, professional, and conscientious. I would recommend D&W to anyone looking for new windows. We have even noticed a difference in our fuel costs.
Excellent service from Noah Cox who came out promptly to give us an estimate for a patio door installation. We were told it could be 8-12 weeks before the door could be installed. We were pleasantly surprised when we were notified within a month that they would be able to do the job. Dan Kelly and Chris did our installation. They were friendly, professional, and efficient. We had Noah back out to give us a quote for an entry door. I would not hesitate to recommend D&W.

From the first phone call until the last, this business was top notch. My salesman Brandon was so professional and knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered my windows and he gave me an approximate time frame. They were just installed today. I was not there and I came home from work expecting to have a little clean up to do after them. I had none. My windows look great and I could not even tell anyone had been in the house. There was nothing to wipe down or vacuum. I am beyond pleased. The team that did the install was Mark and Erica. They did such a good job and went above and beyond. I had forgotten about a lot of full flower pots on my porch, pushed under one of the windows to be installed. They moved those heavy pots. In the living room, there was a paper chain my little granddaughter had made, taped to one of the windows. One of the installers had carefully taken it down and laid it across a bench for me rather than just disposing of it with the window. Chris from the office was also very helpful and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this company.
Every aspect of our project, having our patio cover measured to installation was a wonderful experience. The sales representative that came out initially to management that we dealt with, all coordinated to help our dream come true. The installation crew was equally professional. Had a patio cover added to my home and they did a great job, customer service was on the ball when I had a question. The installers were very nice and did a great job, when they left other then the new cover you wouldn’t have known they were here, job site was cleaned upped and they even blew the driveway off. Sales staff started it all off and explained everything about the cover and the steps to get it installed. Looks great and I added the blinds myself for a little privacy and block the evening sun.
From getting our quote to getting our windows installed, this company and the employees were so helpful and accommodating. Would especially like to give a shout-out to the man that come out to give us a quote and his quick response times and helpfulness, as well as the two men that installed the windows. They went over and above and did pristine work on installing the windows and making sure they were done well, they certainly didn’t cut any corners. We recently purchased replacement windows from D&W and had a wonderful experience working with them. From the initial call to customer service, to salesman, to the measurement guy (who recommended changes to initial order), and even the installation crew. Everything about this company was a joy to work with. The installation was a success! The installer was more than professional, on time, and worked his butt off in some hot temps! The crew was very careful when taking out the old stained glasses windows so they didnt break! Professional, hard working, clean! The only problem I had was within the office people, because I called to get an update on installation date just to get a ball park and waited total of 3 weeks with 3 different calls. Even Manager did not call me back but the next day I got a call and asked if they could install that day. That was my only complaint. I would recommend for windows!
D & W did our siding. It was a big job and they didnt have a lot of day-light to work with but they got It done within the work week. Tom took or returned all my calls and addressed any concern I had. Bennett in sales was easy to talk to and did not have an aggressive approach to selling.
Had patio door replaced. Great improvement over old worn out door. Sales person and others that I had interaction with at D&W were plesnant and most helpful. Best of all my wife loves the new patio door.

0 stars if it would let me. Terrible customer service have been trying to get our leaking patio doors fixed for over 2 months now. Do not use this company, It took over 3 months to get our doors installed and now they are leaking and nobody wants to take care of it. Very poor customer service.9 months later and still no contact, the owner is handling it and will not return any calls.In response to the comment from the owner saying they care. I have spoken directly to the owner when this started and he has done nothing about this issue. He wont even return my phne calls.

Ive had 10 main floor windows, and 6 basement windows replaced by D&W and I couldnt be happier with the work that they do. The communication, promptness, detail, and finished product was extraordinary. Not to mention the price was far less expensive than any other quote I received. Ben Callis is the guy that you need to ask for. He is personable, funny, and very genuine. Front to back, and top to bottom, awesome experience from a great local company.
With reading the reviews seems like a good place but I have never been. It keeps popping up and every time I hit never been here, it pops up again. Im sorry I have to write something so I can get it to stop popping up. 5 stars!!! Keep up the good work, I can at least say with some of these pictures, Id actually buy if I was looking.
I had 2 very old large windows in the living rooms of my antique house and every summer was like living in a greenhouse. I didn’t call anyone else because I know D&W does great work and is a local company, their reputation is excellent from everything I have heard. The salesman barely had to convince me, but he did a great job. It took a cold winter to get them, but I understand since everyone else wanted to get repairs done during this long year of being stuck at home. The installers came and in a few hours put in 4 double hung Michigan windows as opposed to the non-functional and less than breezy single pane wood ones I had. I waited until a day like today to leave my review because I got them to keep the heat out though they did great in the cold spring we had. So today is hot and sunny and the test I wanted. All my windows are closed, and the curtains are open. My windows are blocking heat and my house is a cool 75 degrees, 12 degrees cooler than outside. And on the breezy cooler days, the windows open wide and I get a tunnel of air moving through the house from all sides now that my windows function perfectly. I’m new to being a homeowner so I never thought buying windows would make me so happy, but the entire experience beat even buying my first new car because these windows will be with me as long as I’m with this house. Thank you so much! I may one day get the cheap box store vinyl ones replaced as well, the quality is that good!!

Would highly recommend D&W. Had 12 windows installed in January. Salesman was the only one out of the 4 companies we had quote to give us a correct itemized quote in a reasonable time, and was very responsive to questions and changes. Install crew was very quick and efficient, all windows were in on the first day, trim only took the morning of the second day. When we had an issue with opening a few windows and they had a repair man out very quickly and he fixed the problem no questions asked. Definitely noticed a change in the comfort of our home.
First of all our salesman Noah was top notch does not pressure you doesnt push you or sway you either way let you make your decision and then verifies it he is an asset to that company the installers were top notch even ask for a vacuum to clean up the little mess that they made so if youre wondering who to call call d&w windows they make a world of difference we are waiting for the new windows to come in for our second batch so that tells you something of their reputation and knowledge that we went back twice now thank you D&W.update 2nd round is done and wow start to finish this company the salesmen and installers are perfect all window in the house are DW try them they are the very best I mean best.

The main reason we went with this company for our roof and barn replacement was the reviews. I must say that we are very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved. Josh was not pushy as a salesman, the crew was very courteous, hard working group and appeared to work well as a team. They also got the job done quickly , started early and worked soild all day that they were here. Good help is hard to find. I hope this company appreciates these hard working and skilled individuals. D&W has changed all that!From the time I walked into their showroom, the estimate done by Lee and measuring the wait time (not the fault of D&W) and the actual install I cannot say enough how great an experience it has been. The installation team: Joshua, Nate and Trey were the best. They were not only polite and professional but were so much fun to have in my home. They did a fabulous job. We had 4 windows installed today by Robert with his helper, Riley. Their quality of work was a 10 out of 10. They were very professional and polite. One of the best experiences we had with contractors.
Had 7 windows and a doorwall installed. Josh was a great sales rep, low pressure, very educational and didn’t trash talk the competition. Answered several questions following our appointment until we got everything figured out. Install date fell into the estimated timeframe. We were concerned when only a single installer showed up for our job but it was obvious he had been doing this type of work for many many years and we were so impressed with the quality of work we didn’t mind it taking a couple extra days. The grille pattern we had ordered was not what was installed, and additionally there were a few cosmetic defects. When I spoke to Derek and Debbie they both were completely accommodating, did not try to weasel out of taking care of it and had replacement windows made and installed within a few weeks of the initial install. We’ve already had a few really cold mornings and notice a huge difference compared to our previous windows, no drafts, no condensation.

Very excited that we chose D&W windows to put in our four seasons room. It is one of our favorite rooms in the house. The price was very reasonable, considering we looked at another company that was more expensive and it was for a smaller three season room. The quality of the room is second to none and the staff was excellent. I wish we would of done this sooner so we could enjoy our space even longer.

They removed the old tub and installed the shower, cleaned any and all debris up on their way out. I had all new windows put in my house this past August and I am very pleased with the completed job. The windows are a 100% improvement from the old ones are much easier to operate. The installation crew did a great job and were very accommodating to my requests. This is the 3rd job they have done for me (patio door and tub/shower install) and have been very satisfied with each job.
Jake & Levi Kneuss with D&W Davison installed a new Shower Stall in our bathroom. We now have a very nice shower with larger shelves and Grab Bars. Jake placed the new shower heads were we wanted them (height wise). They worked hard all day. When they were done they took the old shower stall with them and cleaned everything up so well you couldnt tell we had work done in the bathroom.
We had a new bathtub and a walk in shower installed by D&W and they are beautiful!

Contracted D&W to replace 13 windows and 2 patio doors. The experience from quote to installation was top notch. The installers were professional and did an outstanding job of installing and cleaning up. We noticed an immediate difference in how warm and quiet the house is. Great product at a good price. In fact, we had looked at several companies and we believe the D&W Michigan window to be the best in the market. Were so happy with our D&W windows that we just put down a deposit for them to install 2 new entry doors.
Bought the Michigan window. They are a higher quality vinyl foam filled frame. I am very happy with the value of the product. Will buy more windows this summer to finish out the house.
D&W Removed an old glass atrium and replaced it with a 18 x 11ft 4-season room. We love the quality and function of the room which is used more because we have a shingled roof making the room much cooler. We plan to install indoor/outdoor carpeting to complete.
We have an older house and it desperately needed new siding. We had them out for a price estimate and they gave us a very competitive price for the whole project. Their communication from start to finish was great. The time frame they promised was exactly what they fulfilled. We are very happy with the work and our house looks so much better! We will be using them again.
In the spring we had new windows, entrance door, siding and gutters installed. Each D&W team that came out were on time, courteous and did excellent work. They even repaired some rot damage that they noticed at no additional charge. We also had all new mouldings installed around the windows and the carpenter went above and beyond to work around some tricky areas in our 70 year old house. We were beyond pleased with their work!
Our experience with D&W Windows was a great one. My wife and I met with the salesman to discuss options, he was very knowledgeable of the products and the process. He explained the process and how things would proceed and then we received the call once the windows were ready for installation and the crew was able to install within the week of the call. The installation guys were awesome, they came and started work and cleaned up everything, they also did an tremendous job on the framing, We are very pleased with our experience.

Hello everyone! This is the Breen family in Ira Township. We had D&W Windows and Sunrooms install a new shower enclosure. We finally took out the tub in this bathroom and had the new walk-in shower with rails inside. The guys were super friendly and explained all about the different products to and not to use. We enjoyed that they were quick and efficient even though Covid was going on. Installers were very concerned we were happy with their job. They kept asking if it looked good and answered any questions we had about the installation process. Love the windows, easy to clean!! We will use them again for our big bay window, doors and patio door.
Had a total of 17 windows installed. Was expecting to take 3 days, ended up only taking 2. They look great and the installers did a really nice job with the trim work. I used D&W a few years ago for a house I sold in Midland and went with them again. They do nice work!
We enjoy the new windows. The installers did an excellent job. They were very professional and paid attention to detail. Our salesman was quite informative on the windows and how their manufactured. We do inform people of your company when the topic of home improvement comes up.
Our church is an old school building in Durand, Michigan and D&W came and put new windows in most of the first floor of our 100+ year old building. The crew of Jeremy, Logan and Lamar did an outstanding job! They worked very hard for 4 days on these very large, old windows, getting the old ones out and putting the new in. They were knowledgeable, polite, friendly and respectful of the surroundings. We highly recommend D&W and will be sure to call them when were able and ready to replace more windows. We knew that we needed windows for quite sometime. Honestly, between the cost and added stress that we thought the process would be we just put it off. Well, the time came and we had to start the process. We gathered the quotes and reviewed price point, service after the sale and quality of the product. We choose D&W because of all of these factors and the most important reason of all; which was our neighbors satisfaction with their windows that they purchased from D&W. From the first meeting with our sales Rep. we felt comfortable. He educated us instead of selling to us. He came back a second time to give us a different perspective on our front room picture window which in the end became our favorite. Fast forward to installation day, we didnt know what to expect (1st time weve ever replaced windows). The professional installation was far better than we ever expected. At one point we were just standing in front of the picture window (not speaking) and the installer seen us and quickly asked if something was wrong. We were embarrassed and replied, no were just so happy were talking it all in. I cant thank everyone involved enough. Were just thrilled with our purchase.
We had two projects done this year. We had a bath wrap and a patio cover installed. The bath wrap guys arrived on time and every step of the way made sure things were the way I wanted them, from shelf heights to shower bars. Very happy with their work. The patio guys were the same way. They came out and reviewed everything with me and the day of installation went without a hitch. I would recommend them and use them again for other projects.

Great service from my phone call to inquire about retractable awnings to a timely home visit by sales rep Bennett. Questions answered promptly by Derrick in installations as well as a visit to our home by him to confirm proper measurements and roof installation placement. Awning came in as promised and was installed promptly. Installers were courteous, efficient, and very clean in their work. They took the time to show us how to properly work the awning before leaving. In the short time we have had our awning we have enjoyed it greatly! Would highly recommend D&W to others for their excellent service and products!
D&W did a great job on replacing the siding of my house. The house is much warmer after the replacement, save energy, and the color matches my existing color very well, even my neighbor likes the color! Tried to get work done on a roof but after arguing with me that my front roof could not be done because its part of a roof they cant do it. This roof is an add on and only attached to house and no other roof. They said a manager would contact me but never did. I had 2 different calls with same response. D&W did an attached garage a few years ago and it also was a separate roof attached only to my house no roofMarkBay city

From our first apt., when a gentleman came to our home to give us an estimate for the windows, to the nice young ladies and managers all the way to the installers I just cant say enough about them, the whole experience was very good. The girls put up with all our phone calls, the manager had my door painted the color I thought it was coming in without any questions, they like all there customer to be satisfied, D&W has very high standards and the expect it from everyone and there windows, The installers were fast, the cleaned up after each job. We had 2 interior doors, 2 exterior doors and 8 windows put in and love them, Thank you D&W
We had 4 windows replaced, a big picture window, bedroom, kitchen and breezeway. We were very pleased with not only how well the windows look but also the way the 2 guys ( Pete and Bobby) who installed them took the time to tell me what needed to be done to fix where the old windows had laft a gap around the frame. They took all day to finish the job and was very attentive to how we would like the framing to look. Will recommend D and W. Thats for sure

We’ve had our whole house of D&W windows for about 10 years now. Almost all of them are extremely hard to open and close and 4 of the windows won’t open at all due to the cheap white metal clips inside breaking! They will break if you tilt them inward to clean. We’re very unhappy with our D&W windows and have tried to get someone to come here to fix them but they’re telling us they can’t find our name in their system. Really?!! We paid your company thousands of dollars to make a house full of custom windows and you can’t find our name in your system? So we just have to deal with broken windows that won’t open?!! Don’t waste your hard earned money on these cheap windows and a company that doesn’t back them up!!!

Joe is a disgusting scam artist. Tried to quote my wife at 10.6K for a replacement of a basic plastic bathtub. No extras, no bells and whistles, no specialty work or product selection. Bathtubs dont cost 10k. At most its a days worth of labor. I love how these quotes arent itemized either. Joe feels he can take advantage of people who seem ignorant of the work that is to be done. Very classy.

We have finally finished replacing all windows in this old farmhouse (1888) she looks great! D & W were patient as we did it in stages. The windows were matched to the original look. We would use D&W all over again. Great from initial all the way through completion
With the recent storm I woke up to an unpleasant surprise of water dripping from the recessed lighting in our kitchen. We had already stopped at another place and were told that it would be $79 for the initial inspection and that it would be nearly a week before they could get us in. As soon as we stepped foot into D&W, we were greeted, and as soon as we stated our concerns, Joshua stepped up and asked if we were free NOW to have our concerns inspected! He came to our house, looked at our issues, and provided us with an estimate for repairs. I plan to return tomorrow to speak with Joshua again and set the appointment/provide deposit for the new roof. Joshua’s servant attitude/heart = one impressed customer!

We had a sales guy out in December, his name was Zach I believe, he was fantastic! He was looking over our windows and explaining why things worked and others didnt work. I showed him what needed to be fixed now, the basement windows were leaking so we needed that fixed now. We talked about doing the rest once we get the mortgage on the house and so on. Zach quoted us for the 3 basement hopper windows we needed. We didnt end up getting back to him till recently about the windows. We got a call back from the guy who was going to come out and look it over, he came, said were good, we drove all the way to the shop to pay the down-payment, someone came back out, got the measurements and we were waiting to hear an exact date. Then we get a call DAYS later, we cannot make windows that size. Okay, now wait...you quoted us, came out to check them, took our money and then now you cannot do it? So you have my money and I still have no windows and you cannot help me. Its just extremely frustrating. How the heck can you NOT make windows in that size? I thought yall did your own windows and such...so clearly you have to order windows in all shapes and sizes...but some how magically...not in ours? Just very frustrating and I still have a leaking basement and no solution 🤦♀️ No reason to contact the store manager lol clearly he couldnt help me at this point either
We shopped around for the best price & quality and learned D&W was the winner hands down. From the sales person who came to our home to the men who installed the patio door, these are first class people working for a first class company. The job went very well, installers worked together like a well oiled machine. Door install and clean up were done in no time flat. Next time a home improvement is needed we will be calling D&W for the project.
We just got our whole house windows replaced (19 in all). I never would have thought I could be in love with windows. But I LOVE my new windows! They are so beautiful and I can see thru them. Much needed home improvement and very reasonable priced. The job was supposed to take 2 days and the guys were so efficient they got the job done in 1 day. They were an awesome bunch! Our new windows are fantastic! The D&W representative, Ben, took the time with us to thoroughly explain all the options available for double hung windows, At first we were a little bit hesitant and we called Ben to make sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. In less than 3 weeks Kevin came by to install the windows. He is truly an artist whose skill and knowledge is exceeded only by his concern regarding the proper installation. The quality of the 3 double hung windows and their installation was excellently done and they come with our highest recommendation.
D & W had replaced my daughters roof two years ago. She couldnt stop telling me how professional the workers were. Knowing that made it a easy decision to hire them to replace mine. It was done efficiently (done in a day) and professionally! They also replaced my gutters with the proper size so they dont overflow in heavy rain. My neighbor was so impressed he had D & W do his roof and gutters too.
We recently had all new windows and door walls replaced and couldnt have asked for a better experience. Sean & Jerry were prompt, well prepared and knew exactly how to do it right, including a tricky new cut. After every installation the area was promptly cleaned which was much appreciated. Last year we had D&W replace a window with a sliding door. We were so happy with the job we used them again to replace 11 windows in our sunroom this year. Same great job and great value again this time!
The worker was fantastic! He worked very hard and did excellent work. He also did a few extras so everything looked good. I would highly recommend anyone needing windows to go to D&W. The work was excellent and the worker knew what he was doing. He cleaned up everything and you would never have known work had been done. We are VERY satisfied with our windows! Our electric bill was substantially lower than previous months.
My house needed siding. I did my research, read online reviews and acquired multiple quotes. Because of the great interaction I had with the D & W salesperson and their financing options, I decided to go with them. I was extremely excited to start the project and was told their siding group wasnt too busy.I committed on May 25, 2018. After a couple delays, the job started on July 26. My salesperson promised a meticulous project. I did not get a meticulous project. I settled for a finished project. The install started fine, but I feel like the installation crew started to rush our job and take shortcuts. When we started to question things it all went downhill. We were given a lot of excuses as answers to our questions. The project started to stress me out and frustrate my boyfriend.We went to the D & W showroom in Davison and spoke with the sales manager about the issues we experienced with our project. He listened and did provide some follow-up. The last trim piece that needed to be fixed was fixed on August 27.My take on this experience is that D & W needs better and more professional installation crews, stronger project management especially in regards to customer service, the ability to follow through with promises made at the point of sale and better communication.When we met with the sales manager I told him I needed to understand a specific part of my pricing because it seemed too high. I never received that explanation. I did receive a customer satisfaction credit, but it bothers me that they could not produce an explanation on the pricing.Based on my experience, I would not recommend D & W for siding. I have not used them for any other home project and cannot speak to anything but siding.I honestly do not feel that they want future business from me anyway.

Great pricing, install was fast and clean. All of the employees we interacted with were wonderful. There was an issue with our permit, but D&W took care of everything. The temperature in the house is finally consistent throughout and we are already saving on heating and cooling.
We had D&W install a new shower on 9-10-19. 3 Months later our neighbor below us (we live in a 2 story condo) had water leaking through her ceiling. Unfortunately it was New Years Eve and help was unavailable at that time. The next business day we called them and they immediately sent someone out to repair the problem. I was pleasantly surprised. Brian did the repair in a timely manner and I cant say how much we appreciated their fast response. I would highly recommend D&W for any further work in the future.
Ben came out and measured our rental home for new windows. He was very knowledgeable and professional, as were the installers.. Windows were ready a few days earlier than expected. Two men came out bright and early and finished the job in one day. I would definitely call D and W again.
After a few months I figured I would give a more objective review. Overall we are pleased with the windows. We had a few bumps in the road, especially with the installation. We were sold the windows pretty quickly, and the salesman didnt give us any intel on installation, etc. It was kind of quickly done. We had a lot of back and forth with what we exactly wanted, and the customer service was excellent in dealing with our requests. When the windows were installed we had a newbie. He was a good and hard worker but he didnt exactly know the windows very well. They were loose and the caulk job was poorly done from an asthetic point of view, until we complained then he cleaned it up. The offered to put up a type of quarter round to conceal it and they did a good job with that free of charge upstairs. We didnt realize that when retrofitting the windows that the caulk would actually show, so that was a bit of a sticking point that we were not told about. The same service man also came in and tightened up the windows who put up the quarter round. Overall, the company was concerned with our concerns and did a good job of making it right. The sales process was not well discussed, the salesman seemed to just to want to get the sale and that was it. Im not sure on efficiency - if our bills are really any less or not. We will see how they endure over time. Maybe Ill update this more later on. The actual windows go up and down well, much better than the old at a decent price - I think.
D&W windows are awesome, our heat and air conditioning bills went down and we love these new windows. The workman were very professional and did a awesome job of installing the windows. I would highly recommend D&W windows. House is a lot warmer in the winter and cooler in summer
The sales guy was extremely knowledgeable. For a young woman who has no knowledge about house things and who owns a house, he was extremely helpful in telling me what was wrong with what I had and why I needed what I bought. The windows look great, and I plan to get more along with a new roof also. They offer all sorts of services from windows to roofing to bathrooms so that will be helpful as I upgrade my house. The only issue I had was getting hold of the installation scheduler; since she works the same hours I do it was extremely difficult to connect with her and get my installation appointment scheduled. Other than that, I had no issues at all and will go through them again.
On very short notice and needing a speedy installation, Steve with D&W got my windows ordered and installed within the 4 week timeframe I needed it done. I had used D & W in the past and was very happy with the windows I got then too. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service and quality work.
I Had a Crew come in Today and install my windows. It was Logans Crew he said. Great guys, laid a cloth down all over the house to not dirty up the floors. they were on time any questions i had that answered. No issues. I recommended these guys to a few of my friends, Good job guys!

We visited DW at Fashion Square Mall and made an appointment to get an estimate. After the measurement they gave us a price that I thought was fair. After the window arrived the installer checked and measured the window and all was right on.They very carefully removed the old window, then measured again and installed the new window and trim. The installers had very good workmanship. They vacuumed up and the job was complete. Very satisfied, job well done!
Got my bath installed today. Im very pleased with the final product! My bathroom has never looked better and I cant stop looking in there. It started with my sales rep Josh who came in and measured and let me pick everything I wanted in there. Fast forward 5 weeks and the installers were here doing my work! Thanks d&w!
The team at D&W were great to work with through my roof (in 2016), windows, and siding (in 2017). They handled the project with few issues and timing was EXACTLY as promised. An issue arose with the window install but both the window manager and siding manager coordinated quickly to get that resolved.Had I searched and took on Project Manager role myself, I probably could have saved a few dollars, but with D&W, I didnt have to handle any of that. In addition, the warranties on the workmanship are something I just would not have gotten with many companies. The peace of mind on the warranty, along with the way the projects were handled from beginning to end, I would call D&W first on any future projects and will highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!
We are very happy with our D&W Windows. We had the upstairs bedroom windows replaced and there was a noticeable difference in the warmth of the 4 bedrooms this winter! I wish we had done lot sooner. They also look great.

We just had our new window installation finished up yesterday. We ordered our windows about six weeks ago and they started the project on Wednesday. We had purchased nine windows. After the installers removed our first old window they noticed there was a problem... They Informed me that all of the new windows were about an inch too big. They could rebuild our new windows which would take another 6-7 weeks to get. Or we would need to have new frames, window sills, and new trim work both inside and outside the house. Obviously I didn’t want to have to wait for new windows to be built or pay for any additional frames, window sills, or trimwork. D&W did the right thing without any hesitation and offered to cover the cost of the materials, and the labor to make the windows work. The installers built custom frames, sills, and did beautiful trim work at no additional cost to me. They were even able to build the frames so that we did not have to buy new blinds or window coverings to fit the new frames. Everything turned out fantastic! We could not be happier. We will definitely do business with them again. We will highly recommend them to all our friends and family!!!

We added a new window to our kitchen and part of our contract with D&W was for them to do all of the carpentry and prep work for it. Little did they know it would include moving plumbing (twice!) and redoing the drywall on both the wall and ceiling! They worked with our busy schedules to ensure the least interruption to our lives!
Nice windows! The one window seems cheaply made. I like my old Windows more, however they dont build them like they use to. But overall I would recommend getting my windows done there.However, I had issues with getting my roof done by then. In the beginning I would not recommend getting your roof done by this company. Im my eyes things werent getting done properly. They also kept changing what they told me and what they were doing. I had to complain and be rude to get what I wanted. I also paid $1,020 above the price I was told, due to needing more materials. I was appreciative of them lowering the cost of the material. This was just a hassle. Usually when you want a job done you want it done correctly.I had a follow-up with the owner and he assured the work is good for 30 years And that everything looks right. I thought it was nice for him to take the time to reflect his company. They made things right on the end.

Our roof is beautiful! These guys were very professional! Their crew showed up first thing in the morning and worked hard till sunset. Came back the following morning for a short time to finish up. I am a previous D&W customer when they installed my windows and patio cover.Well I went with D&W again for a shower surround. Bad mistake. The manager in that department....Brian, doesn’t care about you or installation problems. My shower doors leak water all over the floor. after numerous times calling him, he said he would talk to the installer, order new doors and get right back to me. Over a week later, still no call, no new doors and still water all over the floor. I asked to speak to the owner a few times and still have not. The manager in that area is horrible and should be replaced by someone that cares.
Theyve installed a picture window and doors for us. They were very professional & best of all; they cleaned up everything. Now theyre constructing our 4 season sunroom. Theyve done an excellent job. Very professional on this job as well. The entire crew has been awesome. Dont know what happened to the others, but weve had nothing but good experience with this company.
While I will admit we had some issues , Management was able to solve them to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the doorwall we had installed. I would definitely recommend them as their installers are friendly, professional and efficient.

I wanted to use a local company and when I asked a friend for references the ONLY name she gave me was D&W! They were amazing!!! D&W installed 9 Windows, 1 slider, and a bathroom remodel. They removed my 30 year old jacuzzi tub and installed a beautiful shower with glass shower doors. I am a very happy customer! 😄
We have had a michigan sunroom from D and W for 26 years and have been completely satisfied with it. We wanted to order a new door for it this summer, and the salesman can out to measure, match color, show us samples, etc. He found us exactly what we needed to match the room (after all those years). He ordered it, and they installed it. It looks great! We were completely satisfied with the service of the salesman, the lady in the office and Mike and Rog who installed it. They kept us updated as to the status of the order and time frame of delivery. The price was more than fair and the quality of the product was excellent. We would highly recommend them to everyone and we would have them again for any future products. Very customer friendly and knowledgeable about their industry.
A very good experience overall. One of the things I have learned in sales is that product knowledge is essential and salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and provided great detail in presentation. The installation was smooth and very efficient. I plan on adding three more windows very soon also I referred my neighbor to DW and she is anxiously waiting installation.
Had windows and door installed and they were very professional and hard working and reasonable . When it came time for our roof we went the same way they were very knowledgeable and they were very professional and did an excellent job and they were very good at the clean up love our new roof and windows great company will deffinety use them.again

We had our bath redone. The men doing the job were meticulous. Everything had to be done just so. The finished job was fantastic. Our shower looks great. We have had windows,a sunroom and a new shower all from D&W and would highly recommend them for all your remodeling. From the salesmen to the finished job, everything was highly professional. Everyone was very casual, yet professional. The only thing that is typical of most companies that do home improvement is that someone, usually the estimator, always takes pictures and makes good notes, but they are never given to the installers. My project required major tear out that would make it a two day project, but was scheduled for one day. Installers were not happy. As it worked out, the installers were experienced professionals and worked around the tear out. The project did go into the next day. For the work around, they didnt have material to finish the job, but a few weeks later, less an hour job finished it and we are very satisfied with the results.
We are so very pleased with our new windows and sliding door. Our living room used to be cold and drafty, but now it is warm and comfortable. The same is true for our bedroom. We know this will also reflect on our utility bills. The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end,. Thank you D & W!
The install was done quickly from the time of ordering. The installer was efficient, friendly and cleaned up afterwards. Other than having a beautiful new patio door I would have never known someone had just installed it. I will definitely use DW in the future.
D & W replaced 4 bedroom windows for us. We had a minor problem with small debris stuck between the window panes in 2 of the windows. They came out without any hassle and remedied the situation. Their service was excellent from the time we walked into the showroom until the job was completed and we were completely satisfied.

Excellent quality! Had a custom 12’x7’ slider installed in Place of a 1960’s picture window and I would have to say the installers, Sean and Jerry did a beyond great professional job. I worked in custom fabrication for 13 years and now in HVAC, so I know quality work when I see it. I am still referring and highly recommended this company!
Run from this company like your life depends on it. During the installation of our sunroom it was clear that their was no communication within the organization and no communication to the clients. There were several items discussed during the sales process of our new sunroom that we were told were standard in all new installations to find out during the installation that it is not standard and it was not written in our contract. Well it wasn’t written I our contract because the sales rep (Dale Fite) that we were working with informed us it was standard and we didn’t have to worry about it. During the installation of the sunroom, crews would randomly show up over the two month period that it took them to install the sunroom when we were told it would take a max of 5 weeks. Crews would be onsite primarily for a half a day and then leave. After we were informed that the sunroom was complete, we found out that the sunroom leaked and the doors didn’t lock properly. After calling the project/Construction manager (Gary Minto) several times and not receiving any message back I started to call the office and leave messages. Leaving messages didn’t work either. I had to tell the front desk what was going on and get another manager within the organization to do something about it. I was informed that the issues would be resolved on a Wednesday and when I checked on Thursday, the sunroom was still leaking at the door locks were worse. I called back and was informed that the issues would be fixed again on Friday and I still had issues and another group of people came out and resolved the door issue on the following Monday. I personally had to go up on the sunroom and calk places where the construction crews missed to keep the sunroom from leaking. Further, the crews couldn’t care less about keeping your property cleaned. I have picked up over a hundred cigarette butts that have been left all over the side of my yard along with coffee cups. The list of issues go on and on and stems from the fact that there is no communication within the organization let alone to the customers. I was going to go through D&W to do windows later this summer however after this experience, I would never go to D&W windows again.
D&W replaced my exterior walls and windows in my existing older condo I purchased, the replacement windows and walls have made a spectacular difference, and the father and son team that did the demo and installation were very polite and treated my home with great care, and left me with the sun porch I wanted.Thank you, I would highly recommend their services !!!

If I could give a 0 star I would. Were now on wk 14 after paying for our windows. We were guaranteed 8 weeks. Installation was supposed to happen today and nobody showed up. After calling they were in a meeting. Why are you in a meeting when you or a team member is supposed to be at my house? I paid you. A meeting is more important than a customer?? Im not happy. This is a poor way to run a business. At week 12 I called Dan asking installation will happen..he told me today Sept 3. He never apologized for delay or forgetting about our installation or an explanation. I want answers. When will I get my windows I paid for? I want my windows installed or my money back.

2022-02-26I love my new windows. They look even better than I imagined. The workmen were prompt, courteous, cleaned up and disposed of the old windows and other installation trash. I would recommend D&W to anyone who is thinking of having new windows. I also love the warranty that comes with the windows.

2022-04-30Had these gentlemen install our 4 seasons/sunroom this spring and are very pleased with the outcome! From the start with Tom Combs ( sales rep) to Steve , to Gary Minto who came out to check things out and make sure we were all “on the same page “ design wise …to the “ installation team” ( Brandon, Doug, Phil, Lance, and Robert) who were very professional, courteous, very receptive to our concerns and questions and had recommendations for us as well! And to Jack , “ team coordinator “ who kept us all in touch with the “follow up and follow through!” Would absolutely recommend these guys for your next project !

2022-06-11We needed a new patio roof cover over our back porch. I called D & W and scheduled an appointment. Salesman Lee was punctual, viewed the work site, and took initial measurements. Later another worker came to take final measurements. The best part was I thought wed be waiting 6-8 weeks to get it done some time around the 4th of July, but it ended up being just after Memorial Day ahead of schedule! The installation crew hit a snag on the first day, but kept at it as best they could and never got tilted about it. Andrew, Josh, and Herb stuck it out in high heat and humidity and did what they could without the tool theyd need to move ahead. Special thanks to them guys for coming back promptly the next day, finishing the work, and cleaning up the area really nice! The patio cover is awesome and we love sitting in our backyard again. Everything went pretty good and wed use this company again or recommend them to anybody. Thank you

2021-08-18Needed a new roof on our multilevel home. After many quotes we went with D&W, not because they were cheaper, although they were, but because we were getting EXACTLY what we needed and wanted. Their selection of products were extraordinary and presented fairly. Timing was also critical for us and our salesman, Noah, and the installation manager, Chris, helped alleviate any concerns with swift communication and scheduling. Our roof is now installed and for the first time since we’ve lived here our upstairs was literally cooler than our downstairs. With proper ventilation from the roof edges, ridge line, and soffit baffles the airflow is working as it’s supposed to. Well done !!! I can’t say enough about the attention to detail by the installation crew as well. They were courteous when addressing me and careful with our delicate landscaping. The clean up and debris disposal began when they arrived and continued throughout the entirety of the project. The finished product is something you should be 100% satisfied with and something the crew should be 100% proud of, and it showed in their work. If you’re contemplating who to choose for your roofing project you can count on D&W to give you an affordable no hassle solution.

2021-09-18From sales to installation I was satisfied with the process. I replaced 3 stationary windows and 1 casement; so far, no problems. However, I replaced a French door with a slider because the original 30 year old door leaked air and wasnt energy efficient. Ive had a slider before and I will know better in winter if this one truly keeps out the west wind. After installation I asked about the holes in the bottom of the frame for the screen on the slider. I was told they were there to let out the rain water. Ive never seen that before and assumed the holes were covered with a screen; hint: they are not. I had issues from day one with the door lock and the absent toe lock; basically the door wasnt locked at all for a few days. I did get service to fix the door lock and the toe lock. All was well until today which was a sunny, warm day and I opened the slider for fresh air. I soon found an earwig inside near the door then another larger bug inside, on the screen, eye-level to me. The two holes that let rain water flow outside from the track also let the bugs inside my house. Its large enough for a fly, a hornet, a bee, ants, spiders, earwigs, etc. I am disappointed with the design and wonder who the person was that thought this was a good idea. How did the bug get back outside? He crawled through the hole where he came inside! Just when I thought he was gone I realized he turned around and crawled back inside. I now have blocked both holes until I can figure out a way to fill the space with screen. Theres a leaf in the hole to show that it is open to anything that can crawl through it. Engineering needs to go back to the drawing board!

2022-02-23I had all my front living room windows replaced as well as dining room and in the winters we freeze only in the rooms they replaced the older well insulted windows with there leaky subpar windows. i can stand back 4’ from the windows and feel the cold air. never felt it beforeEDIT..D&W sent someone out and were very professional and corrected the mistakes the original installer did. Changed my 1 start to three stars since every company can have some bad eggs that might mis-represent the company. D&W did the right thing and corrected the mistakes. Not many companies do that.

2022-07-01We couldnt recommend D&W Windows highly enough! We utilized them this summer for a new window on the front of our home. I inquired online, and they contacted me quickly to set up a consultation and measure. A wonderful salesman came out to our house and made the ordering process very quick and easy! We ordered on May 9 and were told August for installation. Imagine our surprise when they called toward the end of June and said it was ready! We are very pleased with D&W, including the sales staff, office staff and installation crew. We will not hesitate to use them again!

2022-04-13Excellent experience, Window-Install crew was prompt, very courteous, clean, and very respectful. Operations Manager Chris was excellent to deal with and very responsive to an issue we had during the install. We are noticing already reduction in outside noises and lack of draft we grew accustomed too... Trim-work on the inside and outside of the house is great. We are proud to use a local company and look forward to many years of quality windows.

2022-03-16Wonderful company to work with. From estimate to install everything went smooth and was so easy on me. We had 6 windows replaced and it took just about the entire day for install but they really turned out wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire D&W again!
