Comment: I’m honestly shocked they have anything above 1 star. Worst service ever, my mother stayed here overnight on a trip and the toilet wasn’t flushing so she called the front desk who blamed her for the issue despite her just getting to the room. Maintenance then handed my mom (who has 1 arm) a plunger to do it herself. My mom made clear she had only 1 arm and the maintenance attempted and toilet still didn’t work so they put her in another room where again the toilet didn’t work and rather than fix the issue or get her into a room with a working toilet she was told to use the lobby restroom when needed. When I went to pick up my mom the front desk was highly unprofessional and rude to both me and my mother. This location needs to completely replace all staff cause I will never recommend this days inn again and discourage others from going.

Comment: We booked & paid for our room 5 months in advance, and requested a jacuzzi. We show up and are told no jacuzzi rooms are available, which is completely understandable. However, the office staff treated my mom horribly, and were incredibly condescending the whole time. We finally get our keys, and they don’t work for the door. At this point, my mom is crying. I went back to get the keys fixed and was met with the manager who essentially told me we were being kicked out, with no refund due to my mom saying she felt as though they were lying to her. Huge overreaction to what seemed to be a small misunderstanding or miscommunication. Absolutely unacceptable how they spoke to my mom. The manager is incredibly rude. The girl at the desk seemed like she was trying to help, but he wouldn’t let her. He just wanted to make a statement by canceling our reservation, and insisting we can’t get a refund because we didn’t book with them directly. This was even after we showed him the bank statements of the payment for our room, that was paid to them directly. Absolutely insane and horrible business practices. VERY much recommend the Hampton Inn a couple miles down the road though.

Comment: I booked the room 3 weeks in advance and I requested a 1st floor room because Im handicapped. Didnt get that. The room wasnt special but the bed was. Ive never slept on granite before. 😄 My back was so sore I couldnt stand up straight for 10 minutes. Luckily it was just a one night stay.

Comment: Rooms were big employees nice and helpful, except for the bugs, spiders I found 2 rescued one and let him go out side other not so lucky and also the bed bug bites I found on my leg the first night as second night I found them on my arm also the sink from the bathroom was leaking from the bottom. Food around the area was nice but would not come back here after those bed bugs.

Comment: Dont stay here!The hotel is infested with bed bugs! Such a run down place. I had a reservation. Upon arrival i was told there were no more pet room available, so i had to pay extra for a double bedroom. I was ok with that. I parked in their parking lot at the back of the property, there was what look like a homeless tent on the lot. Still, i was trying to give them a chance. Passed the pool on the way to the room. It looked dirty like it hadnt been cleaned in days. Finally went to the room. At a glance everything looked ok. Everything seemed to be ok. Until i pulled down the sheets to make the bed more comfortable. A giant brown stain on that sheet. Remind me of oxidized blood stain. OH No! I said ok, i have another bed. When i pulled the pillows from the headboard, there was a giant bed bug chillin on that pillow. I threw it off the bed, and killed it. I immediately called the front desk on a phone that didnt really worked. Had to keep wiggling the wire to hear a tone. Finally got the front desk. Was put on hold not once, 3 times. Then, after about 10 minutes, it was hung up. I decided I was done with this place. Packed my bags and booked a different hotel. Went down stairs and handed the key cards to the staff Bridget. I recorded the talk with her where i explained the problem. I was told they just fumigated, so they know theres bugs. Was told 2 speak with Sam the manager. the next morning. Drove up thete next morning. No Sam. Apparently theirs no Sam that works there! Apparently the elusive managers name Shiraz. Giv me my $450!

Comment: The operations manager illegally kept me from my room, my car keys, my wallet, from basic human needs, no restroom, water, food, etc. All after receiving payment for my stay well in advance and prior to check out. He claimed I witnessed a crime, which has no truth what so ever, after being forced to wait for over 5 hours to access my room I was told I had to leave, mind you I had no access to the room I paid for, the entire day I was locked out of my room. He refused to refund the monies I had paid for the room, no services were rendered. Mind you I missed my brothers services, there’s no second chance to attend funeral services.

Comment: I had a really bad experience last night at this hotel .I have stay here for the past 8 years and never had an issueI usually use hotels tonightSo I reserved two nightsWhen arriving at the hotel the guy was like you did it again and I was like what are you talking about so he said you only order one bed and I was like just tell me what’s the difference so I can paid you he made this huge problem and had me cancel my reservation with hotels and told me they will refund me and all this in witch was not true .had me waiting in the car for an hour in the car with my family, I got to the point where I said you know what just charged me one night $180 plus$100 depositThis place has turn in to so bad the people that work there has no customer service the corporate needs to fired all of them and bring new staff . I will never do business with them again ever . Lost a customer that comes there twice a year . Stay away from this hotel they will over charged you .

Comment: Got a jacuzzi room for my birthday here after coming once because they are online stated dog friendly and thats great for me and my ESA dog. But this stay was awful because they didnt state online this room wasnt dog friendly so when we arrived and walked into room they 5 minutes called us that my dog had to leave and so we left right away to pay for last minute sitter even though their website didnt specify and they told us since she was in the room for 5 minutes its still against rules and took my 100 $deposit and when I asked for it back that she left right away first day and have proof and to check the room the manager or head guy told us it didnt matter and he didnt care and being very rude. When told being unreasonable and being horrible treating us he then says I take pride in that and told us to leave a bad review because it wouldnt effect him. So basically his disgusting behavior and lack of understanding is why Im here to warn others and that double check what rooms are pet friendly because the website didnt specify and he doesnt care if your dog walked a paw in the door on hard tile floor he will take your 100 dollars. Horrible customer service and hostile.The most expensive room with jacuzzi had a semi broken screen TV and was decent besides the rude manager. And hotel actually replied 7 months ago to someone else complaining that this manager is rude and still no changes in management? That is highly disappointing and I hope to call HR soon when I have time.

Comment: No roaches. Nice HUGE jacuzzi tubs. Clean rooms. The only thing is that the door to the toilet is a shower door & there’s no privacy. Even for a married couple this makes using the bathroom a little uncomfortable. I’ve stayed in 3 different jacuzzi rooms here & the bathrooms are all the same. It would be 5 stars if it weren’t for this weird feature.

Comment: I spent a magical night here with my boyfriend over the weekend. A surprise I walked into! A nice huge bedroom with a jacuzzi in it! It’s hard to find a hotel that Offers that. The parking was super close to our room. Clean lobby and outdoor area. M The bedroom was clean the beds were comfy and the staff was friendly. Thank you Mr. Shiraz who is the manager and Vivien who works the front desk. Thanks for setting up the phone for my boyfriend to catch my reaction upon entering the room. It was such a memorable experience. The I will definitely come back here I recommend people to stay here.

Comment: Shiraz the manager was the man he helped me out so much setting up my room for my girlfriend our special date, we got the jacuzzi suite and Shiraz helped me set everything up, he helped us park and he went to the room to set up my camera to record my girlfriend’s reaction to walking in the room, he got us ice for the bucket and extra cups showed me how to us the jacuzzi tub, had extra towel’s the room was very clean and bed comfort was 5 star sleep quality I worked with Airbnb for four years as a manager so I know good quality and this was Forsure Good quality thank you Shiraz, It was very very memorable experience I know I won’t ever forget. My check in was simple and less than ten minutes thank you to Vivien at front desk she was very helpful with the booking and paperwork, she had a amazing kind personality, I would recommend this place to family friends and to someone who wants to have a great time and enjoy a beautiful places ! It was Quiet and everything was like being on a vacation And still close to home! Great price and great service and quality.

Comment: Let me start by saying that the lobby is really decorated very nicely and I felt that it would be indicative of what my room would be like,WRONG! Im not sure if the pet room floor which are located on the (2nd floor only) are just barely decorated because of the pets but it felt so cold and uninviting, in particular the tile flooring, so bring socks and/or slippers, although, its a big room, and a very comfortable bed, the furniture is outdated, lamps unplugged and didnt work, no USB plugins anywhere, so, I HAD to move night stands to wall charge my devices and again Im wondering IF thats because its on the pet room floor. that the room, lacks presence? Im tempted to rent a room without my fur baby just to see IF there is truly a difference in the decor and overall feel, because the rooms arent cheap. Staff is friendly enough. Hotel does not offer guest laundry room either.

Comment: I would discourage staying at this hotel. Ive stayed at many hotels and this place is my worst experience. The night staff was a complete liar. He was the rudest of all hotel staff members from any hotel Ive ever stayed at. After I complained to him I checked out and like the jerk that he was he kept my deposit and I wasnt there even a whole hour. Like who really gets so petty after there lies and his insulting me and to still make up a story saying my room was in bad condition and not return my deposit when the room was returned the same day I checked in only because of his insults and attitude. All I can think is it must be a tactic this place uses so that they can keep the deposit money. I reached out to management and corporate and still my deposit was never returned. It is such a shame, such a nice hotel but that night staff really tarnished the hotels name. I would strongly suggest that you consider staying at any other hotel. When your subject to the abusive behavior and youre straight lied to and then they keep your deposit, you see that this place is a waste of time and waste of money. Dont risk your peace of mind staying at this place when there are so many real hotel near by. That being said God bless everyone and please avoid this place if possible.

Comment: This hotel is my favorite one and is the best one in the city. Very affordable rates. They have nice staff, maintenance, and housekeepers. The manager here is very professional. I felt safe at all times. I had a very pleasant stay. Days Inn made sure that I got whatever I needed. I was here for a full year because I had a business trip. I slept like a baby every night with no interruptions. The bed was very comfy. Pillows are on point. They also leave an extra one in the drawers. The WiFi is super fast which powered all 6 of my devices. The swimming pool is nice and clean. Family Friendly. They have plenty of rooms. All of them are nice. I have been in to 3 of their rooms. Smoking and Non-Smoking, they got it. In n Out Burgers is just next door. Everything is nearby. Target, Ross, BIG5, CVS, a small Shopping Mall, etc. I had the best experience and I will highly recommend this Hotel to everyone. The Best Hotel in the City!!!

Comment: 2nd time renting the jacuzzi suite and this time not a good experience the whole room needs help the mirror next to the jacuzzi was filthy with black stuff the staff told me its just old the tile is falling apart in some areas of the room the shower wouldnt get hot a few of the jets in the jacuzzi did not work also. There were also cup stains on the ledge next to the sink looked like it wasnt wiped down. The door to the maintenance part of the jacuzzi would not stay closed had to put suitcase in front to keep closed. The bed was good and the jacuzzi water was hot thats the only good thing I can say

The hotel manager was awesome and I recommend that he offer some classes of ettiquite and people skills for his staff. I stayed there for four nights and on the fifth day I was told that I could not get a room again and there were none available anymore. Never have I been discriminated against like at this Days Inn. The entire experience was not good and when I wanted to communicate with the person at front desk there was an obvious language barrier and frustrating. I truly dislike being looked at through inferior eyes. I do not recommend anybody stay at this hotel certainly I and my people never will again!

We got locked in our room and maintenance staff had trouble opening the door for 15 mins. They immediately changed out the door hardware so that it didnt happen again. Breakfast was fair- coffee, juice, cereal, oatmeal, Danish, and a cool pancake maker...but no eggs. Nice staff! Great location.

The initial look was more like a hostel with open stairs up the room.In between the room was a pool and spa which was open till late. When I entered the room the air conditioning was switch off and it became too hot inside, had to wait for 10mins to become normal.Inside the room was quite neat and clean. The bed quality was good, along with good quality linens. It also had a refrigerator and a microwave oven.The towels provided in the bath room was really good and looked very new. The bath amenities were alright and had a bath tub. There are not enough places for charging and have to do it placing gadgets on the floor.The breakfast was basic continental with cold choices. With open corridors it can become very noisy at times of the day. There is a In&Out burger shop in a walking distance and further walk down will get you to the West Covina dining district.Overall it’s in a good location and convenient stay.

The only options were for us to leave or to rent two full priced rooms to accommodate our group of 4.The supervisor showed up about an hour later; he was hostile and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. He was shouting/cursing from the office and punching walls so violently that pictures were shaking behind the front desk. While we were out at the event, our keys were deactivated with no notice.The jacuzzi room was horrible, the toilet is in what looks like an old shower stall and reeked of mildew. The shower had no hot water.Days Inn and Wyndham should be appalled to have Nicole and her supervisor as representatives of their brand. The unavailability of our particular room type is an understandable issue but the poor judgement and lack of any customer service skills amplified the issue into a huge dramatic ordeal.

They kept my security deposit because i complainedabout being sick. Made us check out after 8 days and gave us minutes to get out ir the cops would be called. Called health dept. Inspector went out . ice machine was not cleaned in 2 years. Algae was found along with stagnant water. Air pipe not connected. Never got a call fro owner. Wyndyam never did anything. I was sick over a month. Emergency dept gave me antibiotics and finally i am back to normal. We spent over 1000 dollars for our stay. If you give cash security deposit you get no receipt and good luck getting it back. Im taking this establishment to court....i wonder how many others got sick and thought it was food poisoning.

Its always a great idea to at least try to call your bank immediately after any non-authorized charge especially with a large amount of money. Also the second day my boyfriend & I went to the continental breakfast on the second day we were there, I wish I had taken a picture to prove it because the donuts had mold on them.

Comment: On Thursday 4/19/18, Worst experience Ive ever had at any hotel! Im shocked that WYNDHAM is even affiliated with thishotel. We were originally reserved for 3 days in a Jacuzzi suite but upon arrival, we changed it to 1 day, but I couldnt even stomach staying in the room they gave us for 1 HOUR!!! The room had a very strong stinky MUSTY SMELL, strings of long hair all over the white floor from the door up to the carpet, Jacuzzi was DIRTY, top sheet and pillowcase was DIRTY. Mold on walls, night stand had screw sticking out n front to stab me. Chairs were filthy. I sat on the bed and could feel the springs. The whole room was old, dark and needs UPDATING. Front desk brought me Air freshener & clean sheets so that I CAN CHANGE THE BED, my Fiance spent 30 minutes trying to CLEAN the JACUZZI. After trying to clean and get room in a suitable condition, we decided that theres no way we could get any rest in that dump. Y should we have to go thru all of this trouble??? So we took videos and pictures and showed the front desk. He claimed the manager wasnt there, but Sam finally came from the back office and told him to refund our card and deposit. At 1st He tried to say we used the room but we explained that we were trying to change the dirty sheets and clean the filthy JACUZZI!!! I thought that was the end of it, BUT THE NEXT DAY, I SAW THEY PUT ANOTHER $129.87 CHARGE BACK ON MY CREDIT CARD! So we spent at least 5 hours off and on Friday calling and going back up there trying to reach MANAGER SHIRAZ to take charges off my card. We finally caught up with him about 11:30 pm and once he viewed the VIDEO and pics, he apologized several times and assured me that he was taking the charge off my account. He even gave me his cell phone number and called me back twice after 1 a.m. to tell me that he took care of it. The next morning, I checked my account and called my card company and they said that the charge hasnt even been reversed. I have since been trying to reach SHIRAZ and hes BLOCKED my calls and of course not reachable at the hotel. So he just LIED TO MY FACE AND OBVIOUSLY IS A FRAUD!!! If he was truly legit, he would have kept his word and at least responded to my calls and texts by now. Its Sunday morning and still nothing from him. This is totally unacceptable.

Comment: I would have given it for stars if the jacuzzi Spa was functional. But it was not. The International Breakfast was cool, nothing extravagant, but it did the job. Staff was impersonal but not rude. Overall if I had to come back... I would... thanks Days Inn West Covina!

Comment: The manager there are no help. They charged me for having extra people when only 2 of the three people who were originally going to stay there actually stayed. I called multiple times to try and get and answer as to why I was charged and they didnt call me until I called back 2 weeks later. When I call them the manager says there nothing he can do and doesnt have an answers as to why he charged me with having 5 extra people . Will not be staying at any of your hotels anymore. Awful customer service.

The pool area looked nice, but the hot tub was out of service at the time. Only downside was the bath took about an hour to drain but thats nothing really.

They charged my card $57.50 without my authorization after I booked a room through the Wyndham Rewards app. When I got here, the jerk at the front desk informs me that he would be charging me the full room rate of $60.50 ON TOP of the money they already took without my authorization. I told him this was unacceptable, and tried to call Wyndham, (who was closed, naturally). I was forced to overdraft my account because of this deceptive practice, and this a**hole was going to let me and my son sleep in my car because of their screw up. I have stayed at MANY Wyndham properties over the course of the summer, mostly for the rewards program, and this is NOT standard practice. The rewards program is not worth it when they allow these kinds of low-life criminals to franchise themselves under their name! And no one is held accountable, the customer is always wrong, all hail the corporation. What do they care if I cant afford an extra $57.50 to be held out of my account until... When, exactly? Whenever their robot masters see fit to release it to the insignificant human. And to add insult to injury, the prick at the desk wouldnt give me the keys until I signed an authorization AFTER THE FACT for them to take the $57.50 they stole from my account, along with a separate authorization for the room rate. I consider this extortion and Im pretty sure it was illegal. I intend to notify The Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB, and the FTC about these disgusting practices, and will take whatever legal action I can. But Im only a person, so all I can really do is tell others about what kind of business they are running, on every forum possible. Dont do business with Days Inn of West Covina. You wont have the protection of Wyndham, and theyre just plain unscrupulous and shady.

I sit down and write down all information for the days inn application. He asked me for a resume which was fine. Then he tells me Im going to have to do a background check, credit check and work three days for free. This was the worst experience I have ever had applying for a Front Desk position. I will not follow up or stay there.

Some light bulbs were out, walls are thin and pillows are two big. If you can bring your own pillow and if when I talk to staff about the light bulbs I hope this will get better reviews with less things to complain about. I was satisfied with my room overall. Staff was friendly.

Comment: We are typically pretty easy to please. W booked a room only a few days before the Mexico vs. Utah soccer game in LA (our bad, we shouldve booked way sooner). We got in pretty late and checked into two rooms (one for us, one for our friends). The guy the front desk gave us our keys and confirmed our booking: one room with one king bed, and a second room with 2 king beds.We all went to our rooms. My husband and I walked in to ours... it was extremely dated and although clean, it felt musky and like the carpets and everything in the room needed to be thrown away. My biggest issue though was that we had a queen (I do quotations because Im pretty convinced it was a double) and not a king sized bed. I tried calling the front desk and after being on hold for over 10 minutes, we walked down to talk to them. The guy told us he didnt understand what had happened to our reservation, because it was supposed to be a king, but that their system (or someone) had changed it. We asked him to bring out the manager because he was new and couldnt figure out what to do. The manager (maybe owner?) said there was a problem with 3 of their rooms and that one of those was ours. He said he couldnt do anything for us and that the price is the same for a bedroom with a queen. Normally, we are pretty easy... however, he followed his statement by saying that he could refund our money and we could just find somewhere else to stay if we didnt like it. (Yeah right, in LA on a super busy night!) Very disappointed with the lack of customer service. You would think the manager couldve been more tactful, at least!The next morning our friends told us there were a couple cockroaches in their room. We will NEVER stay there again.

Housekeeping ladys are so very nice! the lady in the front at night is also nice! i wus a little scared because of the other reports i cn but i honestly havent had any problems at all. I have no complaints to make. I have a PS3 with 20 games and nothing has came up missing yet. So i have nothing wrong to say about this place! i love it & i recomend evrybody whos in town and needs a hotel to stay in!
