Comment: I was very happy with my recent experience. The service technician, Erin, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Originally I had brought the car in for an oil change but she said that I did not need one since the last change I had in March would last for a year. It was nice to deal with someone who was so honest. There were a few other things that needed to be changed out in the car and those were quickly done. So it was definitely worth taking the car in even though the work that I had scheduled was not necessary. Erin also came out and reset my dashboard display before I left, which was very helpful.

Been almost a year with different issues and now our pilot sits in the service department for 3 weeks with a leak that occurs during rainfall. No ETA on when they can get back ordered part. That part has been backorder since March of 2023. A full year! No weekly updates on the car. We need the SUV and all they can give us is a 5 seat accord. I would not be complaining if they can at least provide an 8 seat vehicle for a loaner. But because of some policy, they cant loan 8 seat vehicles anymore. Cmon honda, do better. I cant see myself purchasing another Honda after this sadly.

First it started with the new car mark-ups on MSRP now its carried over to the onsite Parts Counter...Went onsite to get new oil access panel bolts a total of 6 for a buddy for his 2023 Civic Sedan Sport. Figured it would be cheaper to buy onsite at the dealer. Think again! Charging well over MSRP. One of the bolts was special the cost was like $40 for 6 bolts. Really? Went on Honda Garage eStore and the parts with sales tax were $17.12. Purchased online inside the dealership and went up to the parts counter to pay MSRP. I would complain to Honda Motor Company in Torrance, CA. But they wouldnt care just like the mark-ups...Be better and not try to rip off people....just bad!

Comment: I will never go to them for anything. I tried to buy a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. The price $19950.00 They told us that we would have to put $8500.00 down. After running my girlfriends and my credit. We were both above 640 and 600 and working on are credit. We could only put $6500.00 down so they sold it to someone else. Screwing us out of 60 points on are credit scores for 2 years and no truck. They know nothing about the vehicle they are saling. At least the lady that we had. Nor did she care. She just wanted to make a buck. Didnt care about the customer or how bad she was screwing them. Did not return phone calls. And was very rude to my girlfriend. I just know that we will never go back. And I hope that this saves you from the problems that we had. Because they screwed us for 2 years. And people deserve better.

Purchased a car that had problems from the start, brought it back to the dealership with the concerns and 3 miles later is almost caught on fire with my kids inside. After escalating to the manager and GM there was no resolution and did not care. The service department kept the care another 5 weeks and when I picked it up was told by Elizabeth in the service department that the tech stated he refused to continue working on it. Ended up leaving after the 4th repair with an aftermarket part and the car drove louder and was told that aftermarket parts arent as quiet. Finally got rid of the dump of a car we got from DCH Honda and would absolutely stay away at all costs.

I was sold a $60thousand dollar car with problems and called sales manager I was supposedly going to get a call back from them never happened. What guarantees that the car you’re taking home is not defected. as soon as I took it off the lot, the car had issues and I took it and all they did was erase the code bring it back home and it’s a hazard I was locked inside. My car windows wouldn’t go down. Car wouldn’t open, nor from outside or inside. This is ridiculous and the dealership just acts like if this is not a hazard just tells me to wait for my car to get fixed. They’re going to repair the part that’s not working. To top it off it wouldn’t even reverse nor drive. they want me to keep a car that I was locked inside with no windows open for half an hour. do not purchase a Honda pilot. The customer service for sales is the worst. The only good customer service they have is in service which they were very nice.

Comment: If you’re buying a used/certified vehicle make sure you have an expert inspect the vehicle before you buy it. We’ve had a civic for a few years now that smelled of wet/moldy carpet from the time it was purchased, and every time it rains the floor of the car gets flooded. Also make sure that if you have any parts replaced that they actually replaced them. One time I took a car in for motor mount replacements and they charged me but did not replace the part. It was obvious cuz it still had the same muddy motor mount when I went to pick up the vehicle.

I encountered some challenges with the financing process, which made matters worse. Gabriel, the finance representative, provided me with an interest rate that was significantly higher than what I was previously offered. To be precise, Gabriel initially presented me with a 15.9% interest rate, despite my approval for a 13.9% rate only minutes before. This came as a surprise to me, and I was very disappointed. Upon contacting the finance company, I was informed that I qualified for an 11.9% rate, which was much lower. I approached the dealership to match this rate, but they declined.Furthermore, I felt disrespected when Gabriel made assumptions about my knowledge just because of my ethnicity. He also stated that he did not feel safe having my family and me close to him, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. A couple of days later, the salesman contacted me to inform me that the car had already been sold to someone else. However, when I checked online, the car was still available for purchase by the public. This was a clear sign of deception and dishonesty, which made my experience even more frustrating.

Upon calling back the reason why I was told the called was ended so abruptly was “Oh I thought the call was done.” The lack of effort I would guess reflects on the dealership as a whole. Looks like I’ll buy my car someplace else but I don’t think they’ll care if the service is so rude and terrible anyway. Take your buisness elsewhere.

Comment: If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. After spending all morning going from dealership to dealership looking to buy a Honda Accord Sport L I decided to stop by at DCH. I was greeted by a saleswoman who seemed friendly at first but when it came to talking numbers she was a whole different person. She was not even willing to negotiate when I asked her if It was possible to remove some accessories that I did not want, and right away her answer was no that they did not remove accessories at the dealership. When it came down to talking about the monthly payment she was not willing to work with me either, she kept on insisting that my payment had to be 800-1,000 dollars a month and that I would need a cosigner. After explaining how my mom had purchased a 70,000 dollar car and was paying 600-700 a month so I was not willing to pay 800-1,000 a month for a 50,000 car, she went to go talk to her manager, came back and told me that her manager said thats to much car for her. I have never been treated so poorly at a dealership and have never came across anyone who was not even willing to try and negotiate a deal or even hear my needs. I ended up going to Ocean Honda of Ventura and thanks to them I was able to get the car I wanted and a reasonable monthly payment! I will never be coming back here again and I dont recommend coming here unless you want to get insulted because they think its to much a car for you!

Comment: Thanks to Mike Powell, Service Manager for outstanding customer service. I had brought my 2022 Accord to DCH Honda of Oxnard to replace a tire that was punctured by a nail. The tire was changed promptly but the black interior barrell of the wheel was damaged when the wheel weights were removed. Mike responded to my email complaint through the dealership website. Mike inspected my wheel and after some conversations Mike agreed that the best solution was to get a new wheel for my Accord.Mike took the extra step to resolve this problem which in turn maintains my trust and confidence with the DCH Honda of Oxnard Service Department under his management.

About an hour and 20 minutes into wait time, I saw my car being pulled out and parked. Tech brought keys in to the service desk. Now Im not sure how they operate, but if a service representative who wrote you in is on lunch....you would think another would assist you. Well that did not happen. My rep went to lunch maybe 5 mins before my car was brought out. I asked when I can get my keys and was told by another rep that he had gone to lunch and will be back in 30 mins. Well I waited for those 30 mins, and after 45 mins went by I asked when I could get my car. I was told he will be back soon. Not good enough. I was there over 2 hours waiting. Finally a service manager walked out of his office and I said Id like my car now. So I was walked to the cashier, got my receipt, he gave me my keys, told me to make sure I leave a good review for my service and I left. I didnt get my inspection report or anything.3 days later I get a text from the service rep asking if I had any questions from my inspection report. I kindly replied, No, I never received the report. I have yet to get a reply 3 days later.

He walked us through all of the updates on the newest model, gave us both an opportunity to drive the van with the options that we liked and then proceeded to help us negotiate a fair deal to purchase the van with the dealership. More specifically, I would like to give high praise to my salesperson, Cynthia Sosa. Not only was she extremely genuine and helpful but also a true professional. She genuinely listened and understood what my wants and needs  from the beginning were. Her knowledge  and experience in auto sales were far superior to that of the salesperson/s that I encountered at other local dealerships. Her approach is quite relaxed, and there was no pressure from her at all! After doing my homework and shopping around, I knew the deal that I needed to make things work for me. Comment: Would give them zero stars if we could! Run don’t walk to another dealership! Went there knowing what we wanted, Harlan & Christian were very nice & knowledgeable until they werent. We found the vehicle we wanted & the color we wanted online. We called ahead & asked if they had that particular model/color in stock. Christian said yes they do & he will ”hide” it for us. Upon arrival Harlan walks us around in circles in the lot “looking for the hidden vehicle “; it was no where to be found! After an hour, he says he found it, we walk around some more. The vehicle he shows us is Grey, no question about that. We asked where’s the blue one you said you had? He said can’t you see the blue? We wiped off some dirt & said nope color is still grey. Then he asked what’s your 2nd & 3rd choice of colors; replied blue, blue and blue! For the amount of money a brand new 2023 vehicle costs we want what we want. Asked if they could get from another location & he flat out said NO. We promptly turned around and walked out! Huge waste of time. Went down the road to Ocean Honda in Ventura where they not only had what we wanted at another location, they picked it up & had it looking beautiful-washed along w/a full tank of gas the very next day! Very pleasant experience & no lies!

I took my work vehicle in for service, keep in mind this is a vehicle I purchased at dch Honda of Oxnard, as a loyal customer to them I allowed them to change my tires, since this was the recommended item on the vehicle inspection. The vehicle weight rating is 9500 lbs for this specific vehicle, I was peovided tires suitable for a vehicle of 7716lbs, keep in mind that this vehicle has additional weight inside of it, putting over 5,000 lbs of overweight on the these tires supplied by DCH Now my breaks are squeaking and they didn’t catch that on the report, I’m questioning the knowledge it’s almost as if they’re just looking for maintenance sales, and forgetting about the most important asset a loyal customer, please be careful and always always check everything on your vehicle.

Comment: They had exactly the car I wanted, at a price I was willing to pay, and I was pre-approved for financing through my bank, I just wanted to drive it and verify before I bought it. Woohoo! Fastest car sale in history, right?No.Think of every sleazy used-car-sales stereotype youve ever seen mocked on sitcoms, and DCH Honda had it. The car was 6 months old, still had years left on the manufacturer warranty, but they added a $1300 aftermarket warranty into the sales price. The car has an app that shows me tracking information, once I’ve synced it up, but they added an $800 geo-tracker. They skirted right up to the edge of lying to my face, without actually crossing the line. Said they were “required” (didn’t say by who) to have both. Assured me they’d once been sued because they didn’t include a warranty in the sale. I’m skeptical. To take them off “I’ll have to go talk to my manager”. About sports scores – I eavesdropped. They absolutely didn’t want me to walk out the door till I had signed something, somewhere, and they wanted me to put a down payment on a credit card. Not going to happen.During the test drive the salesman noted a crack in the windshield, called the dealership and confirmed it would be installed the following Tuesday. During the paperwork he confirmed several times that I’d have the car in Monday night. Monday night, the service department had no idea what I was talking about – they’d never logged the appointment. After 45 minutes they told me the earliest it could happen is Friday. OK, fine, I took it back Friday morning. Late Friday afternoon they called to tell me they couldn’t get it back to me – after replacing the windshield it had to go to the manufacturer dealership to get everything calibrated and aligned, and they’d have it till Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, with no word - because they hadnt scheduled the work with the other dealer, and they were fitting it in as they could. I finally got it back Wednesday.Sleazy tactics during the sale, bad service after the sale. From now on I’ll just give DCH Honda a permanent pass, no matter what they have at what price. Once was enough.

After I need to cancel GAP insurance for my paid off cars and get pro rated refund the finance department never answered my emails or phone calls. Never got back to me and never cared to help a high valued customer who’s given so much business. I have tried to call them about my service contract and have just left a ton of unanswered voicemails/emails. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I was constantly disappointed. Comment: Shysters! Happy to take your money when you buy a brand new car. But they do not take good care of their customers when theres an issue that THEY caused. The manager tried to gaslight me about the problem that another very reputable Honda dealer confirmed.The issue: they install a non-factory tracking device to protect their inventory. Mine is an annoying blue light that remains on constantly, to the bottom left under the steering wheel. The problem is this is wired to the battery and slowly drains it where you have issues with the brake being static when trying to turn it on.I wasnt aware that this was a common practice, so if I can share this information with other potential customers to have the dealership ****remove**** the device before you pay for the car or youll have battery issues and expenses.I would go ANYWHERE else to buy a car in the future where the customer service is better. Shame on you DCH :-(

I sold my car and simply want the refund from my extended warranty. I have already summitted all paper work to include a wet signature (Im 75 miles away one way) and its been months havent even got an answer about it being summitted or not. On top of that the phone operator named Terry rudely said he could care less that I was getting put on hold to be hung up 60 seconds later (happened 4 times back to back). Im beyond shocked to get this sort of treatment considering the amount of money people spend on new cars etc. no way to treat veterans definitely not recommending any one to buy here.classic stealership.

Our salesperson Cynthia Sosa made the whole car buying experience easy and pain free. My husband had done his homework and she worked hard to close the deal. I am loving my new Honda AccordWe will definitely be back and refer our friends.Update.....I had to change my review because of the way a few things were handled after we received the car. We were told that a standard feature on the car was the garage door opener. The 2022 Honda accord sport does not have it. If we want to purchase the mirror and install ourselves its an additional $350-$400. When we brought this to Cynthias attention she riefly avoided us and then referred to the service departmen to purchase one and a manager that didnt seem to answer when we called. She also told us we could trade in our brand new Honda Accord for a brand new Accord that has the garage door opener mirror. I am not sure we will be referring anyone here. Just not excellent customer service.

We actually live over 114 miles away and because of supply issues local dealers were out 2 month wait. Oxnard had plenty of inventory or vehicles in transit. Sale was made and very happy customers. Also, they had NO dealer markup. They did add gps system and other dealer options that raised the overall price. Better to pay for something than “dealer mark up” which is was being offered from Bakersfield to Fresno to Santa Maria to Lompoc to Whittier to Lancaster to Simi Valley.

I understand there can be mistakes, but after contacting them repeatedly about this, they have never returned my calls. Now we are ready to trade it in at another dealership and were told we would have to contact Honda Financial about it. So we have, but after a week of talking with 5 different people there,, we still have not received a lien release from them either. We are about to file a suit against them all over this. Comment: I bought a used Honda Fit from DCH Honda of Oxnard. I was hoping for a better deal, but the price I paid was fair for today’s inflated market. Our salesman, Caleb, was polite and helpful. I have no complaints about him. However, I was upset that they would not include an owner’s manual with the car. Instead, they wanted an additional $50 for one, which I declined.The real problems started after I bought the car. It took more than 7 months after buying the car before I received the registration or title. I called the finance department about this and left dozens of voicemails for both Brandon and Tony. They rarely returned my calls. When I did hear from them, they never offered any solutions except to keep waiting.7 months after buying the car, and being almost completely ignored, my dad and I went to the dealership in-person to try and get some answers. We were angry, caused a scene in front of other customers, and told them we were thinking about talking to a lawyer. We found out that the car’s title was lost, nothing had been done about it, and I was never notified. This visit must have finally got their attention because they sent the registration 2 days later and the title within a few weeks. I’m convinced that I’d still be waiting right now if my dad and I didn’t go and make an angry scene at the dealership.

Monica Sanchez is an angel on earth who made my car buying experience so smooth and stress free! She was so lovely and didn’t pressure me at all. I went there simply to look at a car and ended up buying it because it was just too good a deal! She laid out the price and fees for me, explaining each one and which ones were optional, I didn’t even need to negotiate. It can’t be used for anything lower than $150.00 or when using a coupon. So why have a cash rewards card if you can’t use it. I had to toss it out. $50.00 discount gone. I paid $166.00 for the service done. Battery plug labor. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️The service rep was great with all the questions I had on future service needed. Brakes and spark plug and valve service and the battery just installed. He was very patient👍🏻

Comment: Talk about going above and beyond! Yesterday my daughter bought her first car from DCH Toyota of Oxnard after doing all of the research. She purchased a used Honda Fit which had all of the features she wanted including the radio with Bluetooth. When she went to use the radio, it asked for a code and No one at Toyota Dealer knew what to do, so the suggested that we go to the Honda dealership to see if they could help reset the radio. Their sales team was meeting outside and we asked if anyone could help. If I could tell you how amazing the whole team was trying to get the codes to assist us. Before we knew it, the General Manager, Service manager and the Sales manager were helping us to reset the code. They were even able to pull up the cars data and look at the model number of the radio which was not the original radio. It had been changed out. We were so grateful to the employees who assisted us. We can at least tell Honda to see if there is another radio we can use in the car. Between My entire family, we have own 7 Honda’s and they have been great vehicles. Our daughter will continue the Honda tradition. My next car will be purchased at your dealership even if I have to drive from Temecula to Oxnard!!

Not only was he great when it came to answering and addressing all our questions/concerns, but also went above and beyond to make sure I got the car and deal of my dreams! From the beginning, he was very informative, attentive, thorough, honest, and definitely knew his facts and more. Overall, Henry made my experience as a first time car owner less frightening, and that much more exciting. Comment: We talked to DCH Honda after Ocean Honda tried to play us with $4000 markup on a 2022 Civic. My family and I had a quick and wonderful experience. Alex was honest and helpful throughout the process! I was able to get my new 2022 Civic at a lower rate than the Capital One offer I got for Ocean Honda and even offered a higher price for my trade in. Comment: I have spent several days looking at multiple Honda dealerships searching for the car I was looking for and was disappointed in the service with some of them and misleading information. I was doing some online searching and found the car I wanted 2022 Honda Odyssey Touring in Silver with Mocha Inferior at Honda of Oxnard. I was able to speak with Cynthia Sosa who followed through on everything she said. She was honest and professional through the entire process. Always answered her phone and. Ever acted bothered by any of my questions. She is a true helpful Honda person. She verified and held the car as soon as I called. Walked me through the remote finance application process and got me a phenomenal deal. My family drove 2.5 hours to this dealership because of her exceptional assistance and purchased the car today. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone wants to be treated with respect and not be yanked around. Thank you Cynthia you made the difference. Also side note this dealership does not over pre-load there cars with accessories you don’t need. If you need a Honda and who doesn’t it’s worth the drive.

Comment: From the moment I stepped out of my old car, I was met by Christian. I told him what vehicle I was interested in and we went from there. We test drove a 2022 Honda Civic, Christian patiently answered all my questions. Arrived back at the dealership and I said let’s do it. Paperwork was fast, easy and painless, traded in my 2012 Honda Accord with 227k miles. Christian sat with me, showed me all the bells and whistles and had me go through the instructions again, he even answered questions on our other car. If you are going to buy a car, ask for Christian!

Comment: The experience was great. Like most people I was skeptical of most sales people at dealerships. However, the customer service demonstrated by Henry and Cynthia were superb. They made the entire process as simple as possible. I enjoyed the test drive and paperwork process was fairly straightforward. Overall, I would highly recommend shopping here for a car.

Comment: Recently bought a Civic Si here and had a great experience with Cynthia and Ric.They were both professional throughout the process. I was coming in front out of town, and they kept me updated that the car would still be available by the time I arrive.It was the cleanest car Ive found, so I went out there the first day I saw it listed. Got to test drive and put the payment down while I waited a day for the car to be serviced.It was about to take an extra day, but I got a call in the evening, and was told if I could make it there before close, I can take the car.I rushed down there with excitement and picked the car up 15 minutes before close.Cynthia hooked it up with a full tank of gas and a nice Honda keychain.Excellent service. I would recommend this dealership.

Comment: I bought my van about 3 weeks ago and have been meaning to leave an awesome review! We had such an amazing experience with this dealership. I had been out of a vehicle for a while and looking for the right one for our family. After seeing a van they had on sale I called first thing at 9am when they opened. Cynthia answered and was very helpful in helping me decide if it was worth the drive to go look at this car. She was certain I was not only going to love it, I was going to buy it. She held the van for me knowing that I would be coming. When we arrived we were so excited and happy with the condition of this used van. Took it for a quick spin and immediately knew this was the one for our family. Cynthia was awesome, we couldnt have asked for a better salesperson. We came home in our new van only to find a surprising noise when we would cold start in the morning. I contacted Brian Lewey in service and he went over and beyond to make it right. He even helped us get the van serviced at our local dealer so we did not have to drive back. I couldnt be more satisfied with the service we received. When I went to the dealership everyone I spoke to was so helpful, from my sales person to the finance person to just a random sales person walking by to the general manager, they were all AMAZING! Comment: Internet client advisor Jose Nava and the staff at DCH Honda of Oxnard worked hard to help me find the right car--in my case a 2019 Honda Accord. I chose the EX-L trim, after Jose explained all the differences between the LX, EX and EX-L. I was able to quickly go through each trim and see the advantages, and then took a test drive. Once I made my decision we sat down and worked out the price--and it was fair and easy to understand. I didnt feel pressured or rushed, and the process was transparent. Jose Rojas the Finance Director led me through my options and choices of oil and other maintenance packages. My experience at DCH Honda of Oxnard was excellent!
