Comment: Update: Ignore the Manager’s response, it’s all for show. We spoke on the phone and he offered to pay for the damage. I sent him the bill and never heard back. I would have changed my review to 5 stars if they resolved the issue, but no.Do NOT under any circumstances let them wash your car unless you want swirl mark scratches all over the clear coat. I had my car for a year and never had a single swirl mark because I had it washed by a guy who knew what he was doing. Kia asked if I wanted a wash after fixing a recall and I asked specifically if they would cause scratches. They assured me “absolutely not.” And what did I find when I picked up my car? You would think a dealership would understand that rubbing dirty towels to dry a car just rubs the grit around the clear coat, causing circular scratches on the entire car. It was my fault for trusting them. Don’t make the same mistake.

Comment: I won’t ever do business with this location again and had it not been a very unique used car situation that checked all of our boxes we wouldn’t have continued the deal…with that being said, to keep majority of the story short I’ll highlight bullet points because it’s a lot and it’s a lengthy story;-Lied about the deal we agreed upon and didn’t find out until signing papers and making the cash payment (not by thousands, but hundreds is still inexcusable)-it was a full cash purchase and they still ran our credit when we told them 1) not to when it’s not necessary for a cash payment 2) they told us they weren’t going to-picked it up a few days later since we purchased before going through recon and it had 1) not had an oil change (it needed an oil change 30 miles after purchase and carfax would of told them that), it had a new chip that had spidered in the windshield they deny but we have photos and videos of it without the chip from the day we purchased (not to mention this damage is very much created from something dropping straight down not like while driving), and a few other things that make me believe they didn’t actually run this car through recon, just a detail-after fighting with them on the windshield and oil, they filled the chip in (terribly) and topped off the oil, and I found out they did lie about it going through recon the first time. They claim they did it the second time but I’m not optimistic given my lengthy list of misleading experiences with them thus far. The manager also smacked his hands hard on the crack and laughed at me for being mad that my windshield (on a TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE ACURA-aka a VERY expensive windshield) was silly, and then while in front of me looked up how much it would be to replace it but said it was too expensive for them to replace-they never cleared the cars stored Bluetooth phones, saved numbers, or addresses. I could literally see names, phone numbers, AND addresses to the previous owners home and family members numbers/home addresses, just furthering my skepticism of them not going through the recon process at allThis dealership is a joke, I would of pushed harder for the windshield and oil change but honestly I don’t want my car in their hands a second more (especially after reading other reviews of MULTIPLE damages done by their service team-again only furthering my case that they damaged my windshield after my purchase was completed) don’t bother purchasing any car from them.

No time wasted, Chris kept me informed of what was happening with my AC, called my coverage to ensure all was OK with cost and ended up only paying $100 deductible, sure glad I bought that extra warranty! Great customer service from Chris. Side note, Id look in to your answering service when people are trying to call into the service or sales department. I called various times, looping through the automated system over quite a few hours different times of the day. Frustrating to say the least.

Comment: Just bought my first car, and I want to give props to Mohamed for hooking me up with a great deal. My dad and I called ahead, and there was no delay at all as soon as we arrived at the dealership. We promptly checked out and road tested two of their cars, with Mohamed providing detailed information throughout the ride. He was a friendly car salesman, and I never got the sense he was omitting information to our detriment. Mohamed and his team were open to negotiating, even when comparing prices between the different KIA dealerships, and there was very little hassle to come to something we could all agree on. I found just the right model I wanted, at the price I was comfortable with thanks to Mohamed, and within a few hours I was driving home with a 2024 KIA Forte.

Comment: I purchased an extended warranty for my 2019 kia sportage. May of 2024 I needed to use it as my engine light went on. To make a long story short . I took my car to the Perris Kia as Temecula kia was very busy and could not tell me when they could look at my car and I was leaving on vacation the next week. Perris Kia found the problem and stated they could not honor my extended warranty as I was within 25 miles of the Temecula location and that is where it had to go. I feel I was scammed and could not find anywhere in the service contract it had to be within a certain about of distance. I had to pay $620.00 out of my pocket. I will never purchase another vehicle from Kia and especially from Temecula Kia.

Better yet, however, was the sales experience. I recommend asking for Dane. Alex, the sales manager, is a win too. Both were pleasant and accommodating through the whole process, making it a painless negotiation when discussing comps. I was offered more than fair value on my trade-in, and they threw in additional accessories on top of it all. If youre in the market for a new car, definitely make it a point to swing through DCH Kia in Temecula and speak with Dane.

Comment: What started out as a normal car sales experience with DCH Kia Temecula took a weird turn after we decided not to buy a car from them. We were traveling to the Temecula auto lots to look at few used cars, one of which was a used car at DCH Kia. Before we got there, we were sent pictures of the vehicle, and it had some scratches that we didn’t like, so we decided to visit a different dealer first, at which point we decided to buy a car with them instead. We had an existing appointment with Dane at DCH Kia that we no longer needed, so out of courtesy we texted him and let him know we decided to buy elsewhere. He seemed cool with our decision at first.Later that night, after 11 pm, he began hassling my wife over text for wasting his time and not buying his car. We got several very rude texts from him, up until close to midnight. He seemed to take it personal, which is not the way to approach a job in sales, especially car sales where I assume this happens all the time. Do not recommend going here based on this experience alone. To put the icing on the cake, we tried reporting this to his management the next day and literally got the run around for hours trying to talk to a manager. I wouldn’t have posted here if they would have handled it, but they didn’t and here you go. Good luck if you do end up going here…

Comment: I didnt want to get a new car any time soon, but the transmission went out on my Ford and with the repair being consistently quoted as $5-7k we decided that it was time for a new, reliable vehicle. I had a nasty experience at a different dealership a week before my visit here which left me skeptical of future visits to car dealerships. Fortunately, Tim did a good job putting my fears to rest. When I arrived, explained my situation, and explained that I was interested in test driving/purchasing a car I had seen online. He pulled it right up for me and it the sale took off from there. Buying the car took a while, but it always does. Tim and I got the opportunity to talk and get to know one another. I mentioned that I used to be a salesman myself and we discussed at length what it means to be a moral salesman, respecting a customers budget, not arguing over whether or not a customer should get a certain optional package, etc. Overall the buying experience, while not quick, was relatively painless and Tim did an excellent job. If you want a good car buying experience walk in and ask for Timothy.

California was able to do that for me and save me taxes by shipping me the car. I feel because of all this they did her excellent job, Sergio, the sales person was there for me for anything I needed When he wasn’t available, he had Jaime cover for him. I found one that had listed and instantly loved it.I cant say enough good things about the process. First off - I will be so honest when I say I have no idea what I was doing to start. However, they were patient and knowledgable. Every hiccup that I thought was going to ruin my chances, they had a solution for. It felt like such a personable experience. I got a call yesterday saying it was the battery… and that the Service Manager walked off the job and some people went with him, so there were 2-3 people working. That’s why I was left in the dark for so many days. Ok… that doesn’t help me with my car, but now I understand the customer service issues a little more. So I’m going to give them 3 stars. They still should have returned one of my calls or emails sooner, but I get it.***Original Reveiw*** I don’t know what to say here… I have a 2024 Sorrento PHEV with 4400 miles on it. It got stuck in Drive.. weird, I know.. and I couldn’t turn it off or on. It was stuck in accs mode. Had it dropped off Wednesday night and spoke to the service manager on Wednesday night. He said they had no loaners or anything, but he’d look into it asap in the am. He called and said after the battery died and reset, it was ‘fine’ but he wanted to hold it and check for error codes. Thursday afternoon I was told it was a much bigger problem and he thinks rodents chewed up a harness. They run $6k and are not covered under warranty. Ok, but it would be near impossible for rodents to get to it and we have a monthly exterminator (for spiders) who has given us a zero rodent activity report every month. Still weird things can happen, so I understand. He said he would call me BY Friday afternoon so i would at least know what was happening and possibly get a rental car. It is now Monday afternoon and I have not heard anything, I have a brand new (NOT cheap) car that’s been sitting in a shop for almost four work days, I have no vehicle for the work week, and a possible $6k repair bill just hanging over my head bc I have no idea what’s going on! I have left VMs and tried emailing as well. Maybe they will see this and get back to me?I’m starting to wish I had not bought a new KIA.Also - I will edit this review if things change and there was some set of circumstances that played into this. They tried to charge me over $3000 to fix my ADAS sensor, which took me 30 min to remove the bumper and fix a connection on the unit, then they told me it is going to cost me $660 to diagnose my blind spot sensor, not fix it but diagnose it which was a $25 sensor bracket. Their technicians are a joke they just throw parts at your vehicle hope for the best no one has any skills of automotive repairs here. Please get a second opinion before you get anything done by them, Or go somewhere else. I will never refer anyone to this location.

Has he was telling me the work that was recommended I asked him to do one service and I would figure the rest out as I didn’t have the funds. I purchased a brand-new 2023 Kia Telluride X-pro model, primarily because I needed a vehicle with towing capabilities. However, my decision to buy from DCH Kia turned out to be a colossal mistake.The window sticker on the vehicle prominently highlighted a range of crucial towing-related features, such as Increased Towing Capacity, Heavy Duty Cooling, Tow Mode, and Self-Leveling Rear Suspension. These features strongly implied that the vehicle would come equipped with a towing receiver and wiring, making it an ideal choice for my specific towing needs. However, it did not and I was promised that the receiver would be installed within two weeks, and I received a Due Bill reflecting this promise.This is where the nightmare began, the day before the scheduled installation DCH Kia called to inform me that Kia did not manufacture a receiver or wiring harness for my specific vehicle. The 2022 receiver would fit my vehicle but the 2022 wiring harness would not. This meant that the receiver could be installed, but there would be no electrical connection for towing. Whats most troubling is that I strongly suspect that the dealership knew from the start that there wasnt a receiver or wiring harness compatible with my specific vehicle. This casts a shadow of deceit over the entire transaction.The dealerships proposed solution was for me to take the vehicle to U-Haul to have the wiring done, which I found utterly unacceptable.I voiced my concerns to Joesph Yanni, a manager at the dealership, who initially seemed understanding and assured me that they would find a solution. He even indicated that Kia would provide me with the money to have the wiring done elsewhere. However, I was uncomfortable with this arrangement, as I did not want to assume liability if anything went wrong. Despite the managers promises, he failed to follow through on his commitments and conveniently stopped returning my phone calls.Desperate for a resolution, I reached out to another manager at the dealership, Richard Moyer, hoping for a different outcome. To my dismay, this manager also suggested taking the vehicle to U-Haul and expressed the belief that they would warranty their work. However, upon contacting U-Haul, I was shocked to learn that they refused to work on my vehicle due to the potential liability involved.I promptly relayed this information to Mr. Moyer, who asked for some time to explore alternative solutions and promised to call me back by the end of the day. Regrettably, I never received that call, and my subsequent attempts to reach out to the dealership were met with a resounding silence. I left multiple voicemails for both sales managers and for the General Manager, Benjamin Ariz, and not a single call was returned.This entire ordeal has been an unmitigated disaster. Yes it was my first time buying a car, but man the car sales people and service center DO NOT want to help you out. When I got this car they promised a second key, the speakers were blown, the gas cap button did not work, a a few weeks into driving the AC starting making strange noises. I immediately let the guy who sold me the car know I was having issues and she said he’d contact me to get me in touch with service and the car key guy. Note I live about an hour from this location so didn’t want to go back multiple times. I called and texted the dealership and service and did not get help for six months. I had to escalate these issues to corporate to actually be taken seriously by some random floor sales man who so kindly after months of me calling helped me out. Note I also talked with 2 different managers who also said they help and call me back weeks and weeks again and again but nothing. Essentially I was doing their job of calling them like every week for months to get help. Once I got the service and key finally done (6.5 months later) the second key they gave me does not work properly, the speaker is still blown, and they said the AC was a dirty cabin filter so they didn’t fix it even though I know that is not true. So still have weird sounding AC and am taking it to a different shop not a Kia dealership since the car is no longer in warranty. So all on all, they were not helpful, and when they finally did help, they charged me and the problems are still for the most part not fixed. But now 30 days later I am still saddled with the debt from this failed transaction. As they have yet to settle the loan from the finance company. Even after a number of calls I have made to deal with this matter. My calls were in vain as now I have to make a payment on a car I do not have. I will not damage my credit due to incompetence of this dealership. It is simply unacceptable that I have to do this.

Comment: Beware of DCH Kia of Temecula. My Son and his girlfriend both bought brand new cars in February. It took them 4 months to give him his account information and even thought the contract was already signed and they did not contact him, they ran his credit 15 times during those months. We finally spoke to an attorney and made many attempts via phone, email and finally made a complaint to Kia. Kia took the complaint and he was finally able to get his account information. Today his girlfriend went to get an oil change and they told her that one of her tires had a nail in it and needed replacing. There was no warning from the car that there was an issue. A week ago my Son was getting his oil change and another young lady was in there and was told the exact same thing and that it was best for her to replace ALL her tires. We as a family have been buying from them for years. I don’t know how they turned into such a shady dealership, but I just want to put it out there and say that I would be weary of buying or repairing your car there! In the past 4 months, 2 of the finance Managers left, as well as the salesman that did the car deals.

Daniel and Tony were super friendly and helpful, they immediately greeted me once I walked in the door and were ready to show me all of the cars I wanted to check out. Tony had patience and was thorough in making sure I saw every car that might meet my car buying criteria, and didnt push me to make a decision before I was ready.There were no hidden dealership fees or a bunch of extra aftermarket things they installed on the car to try to upsell me. Comment: Dropped off my clean car for some Kia recall repairs.Picked it up with greasy finger prints all over the door, door jam, interior.They must have sprayed some engine cleaner or detergent because there was overspray all over the windshield, both fenders and front headlights and bumpers.Low tire pressure warning light was on. I suspect they did something with my wheels to trigger it. When I got home, this warning light turned off but it would have been nice if they had advised me ahead of time.Popped open the hood, and bellows of smoke came out and the engine had some wet residue. There was so much smoke everywhere that I could not see see where it was coming from.When I picked up, I went to inspect the car before I signed but they rushed me to sign and give me the keys. Throughout the last month I had been going to various dealerships and dealing with your typical sleazy car salesman, but at this location I didnt have to deal with any of that! Armando was upfront about everything including the price (which a lot of dealerships had not been doing) and was honest with any questions or concerns I had. Kendal, the finance guy, explained all the paperwork to me as we were finishing up the purchase, and didnt try to bombard me with add-ons that I wouldnt have wanted. The service dept never answers the phone the phones keep ringing n ringing, finally got through after trying for serval hour throughout the day. That was 3 days ago still haven’t received a call back or anything. I even called back got through the sales department immediately ask to leave a message for the service manager. Left a message, He hasn’t return my call in 3 days either. I guess they don’t have an interest in taking care of Kia customers. The Horrible customer service is a reflection of the service manager leads. Go elsewhere don’t give them your business. Maybe if I had brought my Kia ev6 there I would get a return courtesy call. Brought elsewhere and save $4000 from this dealerships markup plus accessories. I’ve tried to do business with them from buying my ev6 to services the car needs it’s a horribly run dealership. Comment: I will never buy a new vehicle here or have one serviced here again. My wife and I bought a brand new Kia Niro from this dealership 5 years ago. We almost walked out because despite telling them I didnt want the oil change package FIVE TIMES, they still put it on the contract! I literally had to rip it up in front of them before they would print a new one without the extra $2,000 for 4 oil changes. So two days after our last payment, the car stops working. I took it to a trusted mechanic that told me it should still be under warranty. So I got it towed to Kia and asked them to fix the warranty work. Two weeks later and ZERO phone calls returned, I went down to the dealership to find out what is going on. They say they figured it out and already had the replacement part in. But they wouldnt get to servicing it for another week. That was two weeks ago. I have called everyday and either been sent to random voicemails or told I will be called back with an update. Kia has had my car for a full month and have not called me even ONCE to tell me anything about it. Just simply terrible customer service.

This last experience, I ordered parts for my Kia and the staff ordered two wrong parts. I had to request they send me the correct parts. I’ve waited over a week and still nothing. Just about every time I call I have not been able to get I touch with a service advisor or parts dept staff. Comment: I attempted to have my vehicle scheduled for service. I have a SAFETY recall on my 2022 EV6. The customer service was horrendous. This dealership needs to invest in training for their BDC staff and also the Service Manager. I, as the consumer call the dealership because I receive a notice in the mail that states my vehicle has the potential to disengage gears and roll down a hill. Safety Recalls, in my experience take precedence over say an oil change or a tire rotation. This dealership is very disappointing on many levels. Luckily, I was able to locate another KIA Dealership that is able to get me in for my safety recall next day. It is absolutely preposterous that they found it acceptable to allow a safety recall to wait over 4 1/2 weeks, for what I am told is an hour long software update. If I was the GM of this location I would take a look at how your employees handle themselves in situations with new customers. Your service manager has yet to reach out. Perhaps he too needs some training on how to run his department.

Comment: In March 2016, I purchased a Kia Soul from DCH Kia of Temecula for my father. This was his first new car, and he was immensely proud of it. As seniors, my parents found the vehicle easy to enter and exit, making it the perfect choice for them. My dad drove this car everywhere, always praising its quality. All maintenance was performed at DCH Kia in Temecula, and when my parents moved to Orange County, they continued to follow the recommended service schedule. Several recalls were promptly addressed by the dealership.I chose this car with the assurance provided by Kias 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. In early May 2024, the car passed its smog check with flying colors, having only 58,000 miles on the odometer.However, in , while picking up relatives at the airport, the Kia Soul suddenly lost all power and emitted a gasoline and oil smell from the engine. The car wouldnt go faster than 5 miles per hour, and I had to have it towed back to DCH Kia in Temecula at a cost of $300. After a weekend, the service advisor, Mr. Christopher Koontz, informed me that the catalytic converter was faulty. This diagnosis was perplexing, given that the car had recently passed its smog check. Additionally, I noticed the engine had been burning oil and there was a gasoline smell on the oil dipstick. Despite these issues, Mr. Koontz stated that replacing the catalytic converter would cost $2,900, and I had already paid $300 for the diagnosis.I contacted Kia corporate in Irvine, California, but they refused to honor the 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Enclosed are pictures and videos showing rows of vehicles with blown engines at the dealership, indicating a widespread problem with Kias GDI engines.I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from DCH Kia in Temecula, and I regret recommending this dealership to friends and family. Kia and Hyundai do not stand by their products, and now my elderly parents are without their beloved car.
