I love this school. The teachers and staff treat the children as if they are their own-which helped my daughter feel comfortable from day 1. my daughter learned so much in a short period of time. They work one on one with each child and always go above and beyond.. Im so glad we made the decision to send our daughter to Dearborn Early Learning Center!
We joined Dearborn Early learning based on the high recommendations from many parents. I seen first hand how well the program worked. All of the children that started kindergarten with my daughter that went to Dearborn early learning where already reading and writing. After seeing how well the preschool graduates of Dearborn Early I knew it was the place I would put my son. This is now my sons second year and I could not be any happier!!! Teachers are so loving and welcoming. They hug the children from the hearts and are so engaging. My son is reading and learning so much. He truly looks forward to going to school. The school is spotless and very oraganized. Highly recommend he staff and program to anyone that wants the best for their child!
My son has been going to the Baby and Me program since September, and we absolutely love it. Mrs. Amber is so great with the kids. My son is 2 and he has began to open up more and become more social. I searched for the perfect place to start my sons education off and I am so happy that I chose Dearborn Early Learning Center. For the Moms who are like me, let me start by saying it is CLEAN, the teachers and staff are PROFESSIONAL and its a great program.
I absolutely love the program at the Dearborn Early Learning Center, and words cannot express enough what a great experience it has been for my daughter. We were enrolled in the My Baby & Me program for three years. This program provided a great learning environment for young children, and gave them the opportunity to socialize with kids their age. Since my daughter was the only child at the time, and did not have other little kids around her very often, this was exactly what we were looking for. We were so happy with the DELC and its staff, we then choose to enroll our daughter in preschool there as well. She completed two years of preschool and just graduated from their Pre-K class in May. There is no doubt in my mind that she is fully prepared to enter Kindergarten in the fall. I strongly recommend the Dearborn Early Learning Center to any parents who have young children! We will definitely be sending our youngest daughter there as soon as shes old enough!
This is the best school I have ever enrolled my children in. They are super clean, attentive, and actually teach the children very well. It is an extraordinary place and I have recommended it so many times and will continue to recommend it. My daughter started as a shy student who barely talked and now is so outgoing and is reading. My older daughter who also went there and is in first grade now still misses it and the teachers!! Delc is an amazing place for children to grow! Thank you Mrs. Sandra and staff for all that you do!!
I absolutely love this school! My oldest daughter attended in the old building and excelled. She was reading site words at the end of her year there. I believe shes excelled through 4th grade because of this foundation. My 4 year old daughter attends now and is doing well. She has a few more challenges than my older daughter and is still doing great. Teachers work with her extra if needed. Every teacher Ive experienced has been so loving with my girls and that has been many. I cannot recommend this school enough. Well worth every penny!
Dearborn Early Learning Center has been an integral part of my childrens education for the last 12 years. All four of my children have attended the center and all of them left ready and confident for the next chapter in their education. Ms. Sandra and the rest of the staff really love and care for each and every student that walks through their doors. I could go on and on about the center and the foundation it builds for all the students, and the nurturing and safe environment it provides. I would highly recommend the center to anyone!!
My children have had the honor of attending this wonderful school. The teachers are AMAZING!!! We were so blessed to have such a wonderful experience! No other school compares. The amount of dedication that is given to each student is impressive. The love they experience is found no where else. Not only are the children happy, but so are the parents. You are greeted each day with happy and welcoming faces. This school provides a nurturing environment that helps each child grow and excel years beyond their age. I recommend this school to all. You will never be disappointed!
This is the best preschool in Dearborn. Both of my girls have been in Miss Jennifer and Miss Linda’s class, this year and last year and they both love it. They do projects every day they are there, sing songs, play and learn their letters and sounds. There is always a warm, positive, loving and patient vibe with in the school and with in the staff. I would recommend this school as an educator and as a parent.
My daughter has been attending Dearborn Early Learning for 2 years. I have the utmost respect for Ms Sandra and her loving staff. All the teachers are always smiling and helpful. My daughter was always treated like their own with hugs and kisses. They go above and beyond when it comes to education. My little girl has the spelling of her name memorized and can write it with great handwriting. She learned to read all on her own in 2 months! She started basic math, which was very impressive to me. They continue to set the bar high for her and she masters everything that comes her way. She was in aftercare so I always saw how clean they kept up with the classrooms and bathrooms. Everything is sanitized, even down to the little toys in the bins. As a parent it was such a piece of mind to have her there, knowing she was in the best hands and always safe. Ms. Sandra has a passion for her job and shows it through her performance as a teacher. She always wanted the best for my little girl and would comfort her if she was sad when I left. She would text me pictures of her smiling, letting me know she was doing okay. She does a phenomenal job running that school that I referred my family members to sign up their children. My daughter starts kindergarden in the fall and its sad to let go of this amazing school. In all honesty, nothing will compare to Dearborn Early Leaarning. I am forever grateful for them for giving my daughter the best preschool experience I could have ever hoped for. Thank you Ms. Sandra, Ms. Jolle, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Michelle! You ladies are truly amazing. Your work, patience, and care is truly appreciated.
I cant say enough good things about this school! The entire staff is genuinely kind and always so caring about each and every student. My daughter stared at DEL last year as a 3 year old and by the end of the year she was reading. I love that they teach every student at their own level and give them that extra push when they know they need it and that extra cuddle when theyre feeling sad. If youre looking for a loving, caring and great teaching environment, then DEL is the right place for your little one.
The Dearborn Early Childhood Center is a great program. The staff are very skilled dedicated hardworking Teachers. I have two grandchildren one currently in the program. The other who went through the program. I have had the priveledge to volunteer in the classroom. I am very impressed with a clean safe learning environment. My older Grandaughter loved her teachers as does My youngest Grandaughter who currently attends the school. As a former preschool teacherI highly recommend the school.
Dearborn Early Learning Center is by far the BEST and most outstanding pre-school/early learning program out there. The staff/teachers go above and beyond daily to ensure that each child is happy and having fun all while receiving an amazing learning experience. My husband and I sent our daughter there for pre-school and I cannot put into words how glad I am we chose DELC. The program is set-up so that each child is learning at their own pace and they work with them one-on-one so that they are receiving the most effective learning experience. I was blown away at what my daughter had learned in one month and by the end of the program she was starting to read...thats pretty amazing for a 4 year old!! They care so much about the children and really show it!! My daughter LOVED going to school everyday...she still talks about how much she misses her teachers!! Now that to me is a huge positive about just how amazing this school really is!! I would recommend DELC to anyone in the area that is looking for an all around extraordinary learning experience for their child. I can guarantee you will be happy you chose them!
My son began attending Dearborn Early Learning Center when he was 3 years old. He enjoyed it so much we continued throughout the summer and he still attends Pre-K as a 4 year old. If they had Kindergarten he would stay there. I do not have any other children, therefore, no other school to compare- my judgment of success is based on the fact that my son looks forward to attending school and all smiles and reports of a fun day when I pick him up. And I love to listen to the songs he learned at school when he thinks no one is paying any attention :)
My girls loves Dearborn Early Learning Center, teachers are very involved and show the kids to much love. The school is very organized and super clean. I love that they take the time To do one on one learning with the kids. Miss Jenifer and miss Linda are great teachers and they have so much patience. I couldnt be more happier, i love it ❤️
My wife is an educator of 13 years, and is extremely picky about our daughters education. She is one to ask a billion questions making sure everything makes sense. We love this school here is why I can brag about this school and always will. My oldest daughter started there last year (2016) in the baby and me program and loved it. Her teacher Miss Joelle is just simply amazing. We also enrolled her in the summer school program to give our daughter a jump start for preschool this fall, with in the first, two weeks of summer school our daughter was reading. My we as parents were so proud and impressed with this school, we pulled her out of a different preschool we had her signed up for in the fall previously and enrolled her here at the Dearborn Early Learning Center. Our daughter loves going to school and loves her teachers. We love the school so much my youngest daughter also attends baby and me class as well. As parents, we want our children to be loved, cared for, to learn, and grow, Dearborn Early learning center, has done so much for our daughter that we actually now are talking about skipping grades because our daughter is so advanced thanks to this wonderful school and all they have to offer. What a wonderful problem to have.Update (11/2/18)- We now have had both our daughters in their pre school program for the last 3 years. Our almost 3 year old is currently in their 3/4 year old classroom. In the two months, she has learned to read and is currently reading at a kindergarten reading level, while our 4 1/2 year old is reading at a 2nd grade level. If you want to jump start your childs education this school is definitely for you. Our next problem now, is trying to find a kindergarten to actually challenge our 4.5 year old for next year. What a wonderful problem to have!
The Dearborn Early Learning Center was such a phenomenal find for our family. We’d heard a lot of wonderful things about their programs, from friends, parents we’d meet in parks, etc. — so we decided to check them out for ourselves. I wish it was as simple as just saying “Wow!”, but that would be a disservice to their programs and their faculty. They create an environment of love and focused learning that is apparent from the moment you set foot in a classroom, and reaffirmed after your first conversation with a teacher. These people genuinely LOVE what they are doing. It is reflected in the environment they create for the kids, and the children really respond to it. Our child was initially enrolled in their My Baby and Me class, and has since advanced to their Preschool program. He is ALWAYS excited to go to class, give me a kiss and send me on my way, so he can spend time with his friends and favorite teacher. If they offered a full-blown elementary school education, there would be little doubt where he would continue his education. I can’t recommend The Dearborn Early Learning Center enough.
Love this school!!! Been with the school since 2012. All 4 of my children were enrolled and still currently attending DELC. The staff is amazingly welcoming, caring, and nurturing. Always a cheerful greeting at the door. I am very happy and honored to be part of DELC family. My kids learned to sound, recognize and read words at a very early age. It is a new building, very clean and not to mention very organized. If your looking for a great school to build a safe learning environment and foundation for any child this is the school!! To quote both my older children who have moved on i miss preschool i want to go back!!!!
I am so happy I enrolled my son in this program. He has come a long way! On the first day of school he cried so much and the teachers were so helpful and compassionate. As soon as I left the school, I felt shattered. In just less than an hour, Ms. Jennifer text me a picture of my son having so much fun! That gesture meant the world to me and since then Adam has been loving school. These teachers take their jobs seriously, they genuinly love the children. The academic aspect of the program is phenomenal, the one on one experience the children get has such a great impact . Adam has grown to be more confident, independent, fluent and his vocabulary has grown immensely. I take pride my son is a part of a loving, educational, and prosperous program. I wish they had a Kindergarten and First Grade class as well!
I would not choose or trust any other program with the care and education of my child. My child has attended for 2 years and the growth I see is tremendous both developmentally and cognitively. The staff is so warm, patient, and kind to the children. They develop great relationships with the parents to ensure that each child gets what they need. They strive to provide a safe environment with appropriate teacher to student ratios to ensure that each child is nurtured. The facility is immaculate and decorated so beautifully to encourage learning in a fun, and highly organized environment. My child is more than ready for kindergarten as each child is given individualized sight words, writing, and books, gradually becoming more challenging as the child advances. Highly recommend this program!
I am so pleased with DELC. I recommend the school to family and friends all the time. This is my daughters 2nd year there including summer camp. My daughter loves this school and always talks about how much she loves her teachers Mrs. Sandra, Mrs. Lynda, and Mrs. Jennifer. I love what improvement I see in my daughter. She is now reading and writing, she knows her days and months of the year😊. They sit one on one with the student which is awesome! They are caring creative teachers who are commitment to all the students. Very safe environment for children. This place is my daughters 2nd home. Michelle, you are amazing and understandable, much love for you❤! Thank you DELC! Please consider expanding grade levels because I cant find no other schools like your school!
This is one of the best schools my children have ever attended. The staff is so caring and kind. I never hesitated dropping my kids off because I knew the the love they recieved from all the teachers was family love. Family is what you become when joining this school. They never turn away parent volunteers on any given day. This is how I know this school is beyond amazing. You will never regret putting your child at this school. THE BEST!!!!
This school year was the first year my three year old attended school. I was very nervous, hesitant and doubtful being that my three year old has never been away from me but from other parents strong recommendations I followed through and registered him. It was the best decision I’ve ever made for my son. Sandra, Michelle, Joelle and Jennifer made me feel super comfortable, and really gave me a vibe I’ve never felt at another school (and I did check out more than 5 other ones). The whole Ora and vibe at DELC put my heart at ease, not only were the people amazingly inviting but the school was impeccably clean!! They clean every single toy and wash the carpets so often you can definitely see it... Education wise, wow I was left speechless when Ms. Sandra told me my three year old was moving on to books!! Each child gets one on one time with their “folder teacher” to work on their own needs and it definitely improved my toddlers knowledge ten fold. So incredibly happy I chose DELC and will continue to do so for the rest of my children. HIGHLY RECCOMEND. Thank you to the amazing staff at DELC for all your effort and hard work it does not go unnoticed!!
If you want to enroll your child in a school that gives you piece of mind this is the place! The staff is nothing but caring , respectful and so loving. All of them are so nurturing which creates an amazing learning environment for your child. My daughter loves this school! All and any concerns are always given so much attention and the most consideration. There was two hateful reviews(by a couple) written on this school which has no truth to it at all. That review is everything that this school is not. My daughter has the biggest personality and very outgoing and never ever has any type of wrong doing been done to my child. It’s just disgusting that someone would make false claims about a place that puts in so much love and effort into all of the children that attend this school.
I have a child that graduated from Dearborn early learning center and I have another child still there. I could not be happier with my experience. All the teachers we have dealt with have been super nice, caring, professional, and truly care about the kids. if my kids dont have to leave to go to elementary school I would keep them there as long as I can. thank you to all the staff for the wonderful experience we had and continue to have.
This is the 2nd year our son attends this school. Super awesome environment. An amazing place for kids to learn at this age. The teachers are very experienced with what they do. Every kid has his/her own personality and the staff never fails to professionally handles them and never leaves anyone behind. Our son had a few issues but with persistence and encouragement from the teacher everything got taken care of very smoothly. Its a win win situation for everyone, staff, parents and kids. Highly recommended and you will never be disappointed.We tried other schools in the past, this school came to be the best. Your kids are with a highly professional staff and in a very safe environment.
DELC is truly a gift to both my child and family! You will not find another school with teachers so committed and supportive. They ultimately have the biggest hearts and warmest smiles. You feel comfortable upon stepping foot in the door. My child has shown tremendous growth due to this amazing learning environment and one-on-one learning skills they provide. An outstanding school! Could only wish they were a K-12 building!
I have two boys that have gone through the program here.My oldest is in first grade and has always been ahead due to the fantastic foundation that the DELC staff has given him.If you want your children to excel in Kindergarten and beyond, this is the place. They learn so much more than just reading, writing, etc, but to be independent, how to be nice to others, and to have fun!I cant thank this staff enough for the impact they have had on both my boys education.
I absolutely love this school. I knew the second I walked in that this program was different than the 5 others I had previously checked out. The whole building is clean and organized, everything has a place and you can tell its cleaned & disinfected every day. Its academically based and they all truly care & IT SHOWS. I love Mrs. Sandra who is the owner and one of my daughters teachers; she is hands on and is passionate about what she does! All the teacher are! Great program!
Best preschool/early learning center around! Both of my children attended part time and are currently both top students in their grades! It is amazing how quickly my children progressed.:. Especially in reading and writing! You can not surpass the attention to detail and patience they have with each child, and how they cater to the individual needs of each and student as well! Not only do they help With education but also with kids gaining self confidence ... My kids have polar opposite personalities, and both excelled in the DELC environment! I can’t say enough about this program and the staff they have!! Excited to bring you child number 3!
My daughger Emma attended for 3 years & now my son Ali just started his first year. I love how they balance a fun environment along with a great start to education. My wife adores all the teachers and feels at ease when leaving our kids in there hands. If you are not looking for daycare and more a school to help your child get a good headstart while also learing to be respectful & around other children i highly recommend Dearborn Early Learning Center. Emma is always placing above her reading level & I feel it has everything to do with the school & program!!!!!
I first started at DELC 6 years ago back when my oldest daughter was 3. She is now turning 9, my other daughter attended DELC as well and is 7 and my baby Noah is currently enrolled at DELC and will be starting kindergarten in the fall. So this is our last year at The Dearborn Early Learning center. It will be so tough to say goodbye to an amazing, loving and truly caring staff. My Children have had the absolute best experiences and built the best friendships there. They walked away reading and writing like pros!! My daughters, to this day, place above average in reading every year. The curriculum they use cannot compare to any other program out there. Miss Monique will always have a special place in my heart as well as Jennifer Danclovic. Michelle is by far the best secretary, always so cheerful and helpful. Miss Melissa , Mrs. Mary and the entire staff love what they do and love the children even more. Without hesitation, I highly recommend DELC!!! Best decision I made for my children.
This is the best preschool in the area! Currently my 4 year old is attending. He absolutely loves it! He’s so excited to share his art projects and work with me when I pick him up everyday. He’s able to read and is writing, as well. There’s daily communication between the staff and myself about his one on one time. This is my 2nd child to go through the DELC. I’m so impressed by how well this program preps kids for kindergarten. My older son started KG at the top of his class for reading and math. The DELC is by far the best program!
My daughter just started going to this school and she loves it. The staff is great and she loves all her teachers. They are very helpful in every way possible. Its a very welcoming atmosphere for kids. Trust me, this exceeds my expectations in educating my daughter. I already see a difference. The place is so clean and beautiful. My daughter is 4 yrs old and has never attended any type of school. I was very picky about where she would attend school for the first time. After hearing so many great things abt DELC I enrolled her and I must say so far its been the greatest decision. From the first orientation I could see that this school was a step above the rest. Ms Sandra took hours and explained every detail about the school and what we were to expect, And addressed all our concerns . They are constantly texting and emailing reminders and instructions for every event which is amazing and so thoughtful. The teachers are so patient , friendly, and loving Its like we are family already , from Ms Sandra to Ms. Joelle to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Michelle just to name a few they are all amazing and always smiling, and they greet u at the door daily with a smile and u leave with a smile. My daughter waits to go to school and the first thing she says when I pick her up is *mommy Im so happy I love this school* that says it all to me , I could go on and on about how clean and organized the school is also. And in one month my daughter is already cutting , learning to write, and having a wonderful time singing and playing, its a great balance of everything, cant wait to see what the future holds , God bless Ms, Sandra and all her amazing staff.
I have had 3 children go through the Dearborn Early Learning Center program over the past several years. We began our journey when all of the wonderful teachers, along with the school, were still located on Monroe. Our oldest, Sasha, was the first to set foot into one of the best academic decisions I have made for my children. As a mother of 4, my biggest concern when choosing a school for my children was never solely based on academics. The first thing I always looked for, especially in the preschool age group, was a loving, supportive, safe and compassionate environment where my child can grow and develop and love to go to school. Let me just say, the Dearborn Early Learning Center is just that!All of my children attended the full day M-F program with Sandra in the am and Linda and Jennifer in the pm. All of the amazing teachers and staff always welcomed me and my family with warm greetings and smiles and made my children feel like they were a part of one big beautiful family. Sandra, the owner and also a teacher at the school, is like no other teacher I have ever known. Her love, dedication and passion for the program is seen by the smile on her face, the glow in her eyes, the enthusiasm she provides for the children in the classroom and in the determination to make sure that those children are receiving the best support needed for excellent reading and writing skills. Furthermore, Linda and Jennifer are like mothers to my children, always watching over them and making sure that they have the skills necessary to thrive with other children and adults in everyday society.My children mean the world to me! And the Dearborn Early Learning Center is one of the best preschools in the state of Michigan that will have your children extremely prepared for grade school. My oldest, Sasha, is only in 1st grade and is reading 6th grade reading level books. My youngest, Zane, will sadly be my last child to attend the school next year. It is very bittersweet to know that I will eventually have to bid farewell to the wonderful educators who have shaped my children into the precious human beings that they are today. For the past several years, Sandra, Lauren, Jennifer, Lynda, Michelle, Kendra, Joelle, Victoria and all the rest of the amazing educators and friends at the Dearborn Early Learning Center have been such an amazing and crucial part of our family.Thank you for creating such beautiful memories for my children and for loving them like your own! The staff is capable, nurturing, and prepares your children not only for kindergarten, but for life. Our daughter has arrived in kindergarten well above her age requirements after only one year at Dearborn Early Learning Center. I highly recommend them, even if you choose part time, your child will benefit greatly from the experience.
We love Dearborn Early Learning! My son has learned to read and write this past year along with so many other things. The staff is very caring and welcoming. We cant wait to send our daughter here when its her turn to start preschool!
Thank you Dearborn Early Learning Center very much for everything you are doing for my 4- year- old daughter! Compared to the previous centers she went, you cant believe how much she has been improving in everything since September 2017. I have noticed the huge difference since I came in first day to ask about your program how your school is very clean and organized, and how the staff is very respectful and lovely. She has improved in her learning and attitude during this very short period and even she is a little bit shy in front of others, she is getting it. Till this moment I keep asking myself why I did not bring her to your school since she was 1 year old but we are very luckily that we have you in her critical age of learning. Once she comes back home, she is so excited to show me what she did in the preschool like coloring, cutting, writing down letters and what number and letter she added to her ring each day. Every night she is so excited to get her cloths ready for the next school day even during the weekends, she feels unhappy because she cannot go. I keep asking her every day do like your school and she replies yes, I do. She does love her preschool and her all teachers, Ms. Sandra, Ms,.Jennifer and Ms. Zahra and I am so happy for all of that and cannot wait more 6 months to bring my other little baby to you. Thanks for all your hard work it is much appreciated.
I have sent three children to this amazing school! My oldest two are now in elementary school and are doing great because of the work that Mrs Jennifer has done with them (and of course all the other wonderful caring ladies who worked with them) my youngest currently is attending DELC and she has a very outgoing personality and her teachers mrs Jennifer and mrs Lynda allow her to be who she is. These woman at this school have shown me that they not only care and nurture children but love each and every child who come through their doors as if it were their own. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for their child to have loving teachers and get an academic head start for their future.
I cant say enough good things about this school!! They continually go above and beyond, treating their little students like precious members of their own family. My son has started Kindergarten leagues above where he needs to be and had a wonderful time while he was there. My daughter is enjoying the same experience and I will be so sad when we have to graduate and move on! We love them!!
Amazing would be an understatement in terms of describing DELC. My husband and I were extremely nervous to send our first child off to school and after doing tons of research, we decided to go with DELC. We couldnt be happier and have no doubt in our minds that this was the right decision for our family. DELC provides an incredibly clean, safe, organized, and nurturing environment for kids to learn (at their own pace). In just the few months (2 days a week) that my 3 year old has been there, hes learned so much and is displaying much more personality. He absolutely loves his teachers and is excited to go to school. The love and commitment that the teachers have for their students and their job is undeniable. Its comforting knowing that my child is in a place where he feels safe, happy, and is growing at such an incredible pace. We cant wait to share this wonderful experience with our 2nd child !!!
Dearborn Early Learning is the best preschool!!!! The teachers are so loving and nurturing. When I drop my daughter off I never have to worry about her. She loves going to school and absolutely loves her teachers. They not only care about her, but they care about her education. Love it there!!!!!!!!!!
It has been only 3 months and our daughter bloomed at Dearborn Early Learning Center (DELC). She has improved socially and academically 👍🏻. We put much of this down to the environment, which is very conductive to learning and development, to the teachers and staff, who are very supportive, nurturing, caring and professional, and to the classroom setting, which is very constructive, clean and organized. THANK YOU for making this noticeable difference. We cant wait till our second daughter is ready, DELC will definitely be our choice 😊!
It would take more than a review on google to give this school what it truly deserves. But since this is the only way I can rate it, I can tell you that you can put your children in this center without a worry in the world. My daughter attended it and because it was such an amazing foundation in her education, she’s now in 2nd grade performing in 3rd and 4th grade level.And now it’s my son’s second year and at 4 years old he already knows so much! I am so thankful for this great staff! Sandra,Jennifer, Sonia etc.. you’ve been so amazing and we couldn’t be happier.If you’re reading this review and care about an academic program, then I truly recommend this school is for your child. Besides that, the school is super clean... and I mean very. This is why I drive 35 minutes so that my child attends no other pre-school.
Fabulous school and excellent staff, our daughter Heaven started on September 11, in a short time she has formed strong relationship with teachers and classmates. Couldnt ask for better staff to be teaching and caring for my child. Everything about Delc has been the very best experience for my family! I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone who has lil ones and wants the best education from the Delc Family its not just another teacher they care about your lil one as they would their own child. They sit with them one on one and help them learn at the childs pace. Absolutely Love this school and happy we will get one more year with them!!

We could not be happier with our childrens experience at DELC! They have grown in leaps and bounds surrounded by the love and support of amazing teachers. The foundation they have received for the last year and a half will stay with them through elementary school and for that we are so grateful. I have always felt piece of mind when I drop them off each day. We cannot recommend this school enough!
I absolutely love this school. I have 3 kids that have attended baby and me since they were 1 and continued on to the preschool program. I love how safe and clean the environment is. The teachers are amazing and care for the children as if they were their own. I only wish this school went up to a higher grade so I wouldn’t have to send them anywhere else!
My son has grew and excelled in this program. The teachers actually care about the students growth and the communications with the parents is great. My daughter Yasmina has been at DELC since she was 1 for my Baby and Me and now attends full time Pre-K. She absolutely loves it! The staff is the best! My son has been attending My Baby & Me for two years now and loves going! He asks about Miss Joelle everyday and when he walks into school gives her a hug everytime he sees her! I absolutely love this school and can’t wait for him to start preschool there next year!
I️ had registered my son in this program for 2018/2019. The reason why I️ choose this school was because it had some good reviews. My son started school on Sep 10 Yes he did cry the first few days of school, but finally he got used to it and actually loved it! At parent orientation I️ told his teacher Jenifer that my son doesn’t know how to share his toys and my child is active, which probably 80% of kids are! She said that’s completely fine that’s something kids need to learn, so the second week into school she asked to speak with me I️ said of course not thinking my son wasn’t allowed in the program! This school gave up on my son within the first 2 weeks of school! I️ had went and told both his teachers Jenifer and Lynda I’m very surprised you guys gave up on him like that, Jenifer answered saying “I️ just think he’s too little” and “he needs playing Structure” not learning and I️ can’t have one teacher one him Bc next week we’re starting folders. I️ would of understood if my son was there for Over then 3 months and He was acting the way he is or was but they literally gave up On him within 2 weeksI️ truly think that this school picks and chooses their students! Parents look very careful before registering your kids in this program!
DELC is an outstanding school with such wonderful teachers! My son always look forward to school days, which makes me happy. He is making great progress with the support of the DELC staff. He will definitely be there again next year and his little sis will be joining soon! :)
Excellent program!! My son and I love My Baby and Me, this is our second year. I highly recommend it! Very professional, fun, clean, and instructional learning environment!! My son is engaged the whole time, and it’s fun to spend that one on one time participating with him as he learns academically and socially.
My little one attended dearborn early learning center since he was a year and a half( my baby and me program) till pre-K, this was the best decision we”ve made for Issa. The love, care and level of knowledge he received from his teachers is amazing. God blessed us with 2 new boys recently and can’t wait until they’re at the age they can attend the program so we can enroll them. One of the best schools!!!!
I cannot day enough about what an amazing school this is ! You Can just feel the love when you walk in ! My son just turned 4 and is already reading among many other things ! He has developed such a love for learning and I owe it all to Dearborn Early Learning . I am so happy I found this place and grateful that he gets to spend another school year there .
Great school!!!! This is my daughters first year, but i already see a different with her coloring , abc’s, numbers and shapes. They really stay on top of things and are great with reminding the parents to stay in involved. The whole stuff is friendly and patient. I would definitely recommend the school!!!!!!
We could not be happier with the progress our son has made at Dearborn Early Learning Center. He wakes up every morning excited to go to school. Clean facility, amazing teachers who make him feel right at home, and a great program.
BEST learning preschool! My favorite part about DELC (besides the wonderful staff) is the focus on your child’s development in learning by giving weekly progress reports. They have a great preschool curriculum which I highly recommend to all others!
As an educator myself, I have never been as impressed with any preschool program as much as I was this program. One on one instructional time, great programs and an all round exvellent program. My grandson thrived and emerged as an excited learner and reading well above kindergargen level. The summer math camp is likewise excellent.
This place is great, clean and accomdating. We have been apart of this great place since my son and wife attended my baby and me and now my daughter. My son has done exceptional with there program and my daughter is beginning to develop social skills while attending my baby and me, as well. The teachers are wonderful and loving. Any time im running late to pick my son they have been more then accomdating. Thank you sandra for creating a great atmosphere.
Its very unfortunate when one individual and their scewed version of events can try to put a negative stain on an outstanding pre-school. The Dearborn Early Learning Center is a learning based pre-school and may not be the right fit for every child. But, the staff at DELC goes above and beyond to try to help every child ease into the structure of a classroom. The staff at The Dearborn Early Learning Center are very understanding of the fact that there is an adjustment period and would *never* (especially in the first few weeks of a school year) bring anything to the parents attention, unless the child was so completely disruptive that it was interfering with the teachers ability to give all of the other students the attention that their parents were paying for. DELC goes above and beyond to make sure that the students, in their care, get a high quality pre school education, as well as a nurturing environment in which to thrive. My only guess is perhaps that anyone who has had an issue with the school perhaps enrolled their child before they were ready to be part of a *learning based* pre school, in which there is some structure. The school by no means is stifling or toxic. This pre school is an excellent introduction for any parent that is ready for their child to begin learning the structured environment of a school setting, as well as get a head start on an excellent education. You will not find a more educational or more nurturing pre school. The one on one attention given, is unmatched.
My son attended two years of preschool at DELC and completely thrived! My family is full of educators (including a retired special Ed teacher, a superintendent, and a college professor) who have had nothing but wonderful things to say about his progress and this program. He entered the program confusing letters and songs, only counting to 10, and having difficulty coloring/cutting. After the first year, he was an emergent reader. After the second year, he was reading at a nearly first grade level. He could write numbers to 100, which is expected at the end of 1st grade. We further encouraged his advancement by enrolling him in Marvelous Math through the summer, and he entered kindergarten knowing more math concepts that the typical second great. He is now doing AMAZING in Kindergarten. Not only has he excelled academically, he has become an amazingly empathetic child who is concerned about every student in his class. He encourages fellow students and helps then understand how to solve their problems. I have no doubt in my mind that he learned most of this from watching the way DELC staff managed Difficult students. This school is amazing and I recommend it to everyone!
They do not want bright active kids with educated parents. Well informed parents will question their techniques and will never let them get away with so much.Very disappointing to see the interaction between some of the staf and the younger kids. Unfortunately this is not a a play base learning center. This type of place actually suppresses a childs imagination. Some of the parents may seem happy because its a clean place and its close to thier home but they are doing thier kids a disservice by letting them stay here. Based on research, the most critical stage in a childs life is from 1 to 8 yrs. I encourage some of the parents, to set up visits with other learning centers ( please dont just focus on Dearborn) you will be shocked and amazed of the wonderful places that you can send your kids. Spend an extra 10 to 15 minutes driving for sake of your kids.I asked to speak with the owner via phone, Michelle who should not be at the front desk and greed parents and kids, raised her voice at me in front of other kids and said she is out for the whole summer. VERY sad and unprofessional. I took my child out after 2 days. The red flags about thier process were too much to ignore.I had to write this review.
My wife and I signed up our 3 year old son to join this early learning program in the fall of 2016. He was newly potty trained and met the requirements of the program. Upon his enrollment, we constantly recieved phone calls of “miss behaving” and “not following directions.” Upon meeting with the staff and teachers in charge, we were informed that our son “sat outside of the circular rug” during reading and needed reminders throughout the day to stay on task. Once discussing this on more than one occasion, we decided to remove our son from this toxic environemnt and sad excuse of a school. My 3 year old son’s teacher, Mrs. Jennifer lied to my face about a conversation we had in front of the owner just to save face and protect her job. At that moment, we immediately removed our son from the program. For a 50 year old adult to have the nerve to go head to head with a 3 year old speaks volumes of the type of submissive environment this program creates for students. I was informed that my son would be placed in time out for periods lasting 45 minutes, yet I’m receiving complaints of him crying. Last I checked, that’s child abuse and I’m sure any parent can agree that a 3 year old boy needs reminders and needs to get their energy out. That’s perfectly normal. Since then, he went back to U of M and hes had exceptional behavior. He is 4 years old now and is beginning to read and write. Save yourself he headache and do your children the service of taking them to a program that truly cares. If you want your child to be stripped of their personality and tormented, my baby and me is the place for you. This program is lucky that I have not called the state and taken legal action against them.
The program is phenomenal, the rooms are so clean and the teachers are loving and dedicated. My 3 year old is reading after being in the program for 3 months, part time! Highly recommend for your child to thrive!
Put my son in here starting January, the class was overly crowded with 1 and 2 year olds (Miss Lauren and Miss Zara were excellent though) I as an educator did not feel like he was benefiting at all though from the age group. He was placed in the 3 year old class and was basically said to move again to a 2 year old class for many made up negative reasons (one being parents were upset) lol. People are hilarious! After they assessed him shouldn’t the right protocol for a child be to be placed in that group rather than to begin in the 3 year old class? Odd. Then the teacher says he couldn’t “sit during circle time” the whole time. I mean really? It was his first day and according to my husband he wasn’t getting up once and sat right down. Just a friendly reminder to the staff, as an educator always remember the way you word things when you speak with a parent. Didn’t we learn that in “Classroom Management EDUC 501 ?” Lol.I wonder how some people were blessed to even be a parent with negativity towards children. Very sad. I guess first impression for a 2 year old is truly a deal breaker! Haha! Class is truly pointless in educating anyways. A sad ending to his first experience in a school setting.
My son goes to DELC and it is amazing. My son is learning so much, in 2 months he learned how to recognize and sound almost all letters (uppercase and lowercase) and he learned so many things like sharing, following instructions, sitting in a circle time etc.. He also loves his teachers, and by the way the teachers are amazing. I cant be more happy, thank you DELC.
My son met every requirement to attend this program. He was potty trained, did not swear, did not hit. The teacher herself said every child needs 30 days to adjust to the program, yet after one day she did nothing but complain about him not sitting in a circle for 15 minutes and wanted him out of the program. If your child has any type of a personality do not send them here I’ve gone back to u of m and had nothing but success thank god.
My son is in this program and its amazing how far hes come! They do so much with the children to stimulate their educational development, and my son knows how to write his name within a month of being in the program. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to put their child in pre-school!

I Absolutely love this pre-school ! The staff is exceptional , facility is always spotless and best of all my son enjoys it and has learned so much already.
I noticed they pick and choose which kid is their favorite, they don’t treat all the kids equally. They give certain parents more attention than others. Maybe they like the rich parents more than the average. But makes me very uncomfortable. Don’t want my child around this.

She genuinely cares about not just the kids but ALL of the families in her school. ALL of the teachers are out of this world and REALLY go above and beyond!! 2020-08-26I had both my children at DELC, the teachers and staff are all amazing. They have an amazing reading program and work so much on fine motor skills, social skills and are so caring and loving! My kids loved this school so much and were always in the best mood when I picked them up. I worry a lot and had a hard time finding a school until I visited this one, we also did the my baby and me classes ( parent involved class) I highly recommend this class before your child is old enough for preschool. It was so fun, I met the teachers and my kids were familiar to the classroom before entering preschool on their own. Mrs sandra the owner is very involved with keeping parents updated and sending helpful information/ links all the time. Mrs Joelle is like a second mother to my children who has a heart of gold. Mrs Jennifer will always put a smile on your face and is the sweetest! I’m so grateful to them all. Truly is an amazing school with amazing staff ❤️

2021-08-30This is a great school to send your child! The curriculum here exceeded my expectations. The teachers here are caring and knowledgeable. All staff are very nice and helpful. Im very happy I started my childs education here. I wish this school was K-8 because now my standards are so high after DELC. I also wish it was a little more diverse being that I have a African American child.

2018-10-26We came here for the Baby and Me program and my daughter loved it so much that we put her in the summer preschool program and now she’s enrolled full time at the center. We haven’t seen any school better than this one! The staff is amazing, the classrooms are so clean, the kids are always happy. My daughter always looks forward to weekdays because she knows that she’ll be at school. My husband and I love the one on one time that the staff spends with each student; our daughter is learning so quickly. Her communication skills, academic skills, and social skills have improved so much in such a short amount of time. The center caters to her skills so she is so ahead already. We’re so glad to have her there! Really recommend this school ❤️

2019-09-04I had my son in the Dearborn Early Learning Center for two years. It is by far the best environment a child can be in. I can not say enough about how professional, kind, and loving the staff are. They truly are dedicated and want to provide the best learning experience and environment for all the children at this age. My son gained so much, I only wish they had a kindergarten as well.

It amazes me how much she has learned since she has started attending Dearborn Early Learning Center. 2017-11-18The Dearborn Early Learning Center is an amazing school and I would recommend them to anyone that asked! Both of my girls went to the school and each had Mrs Jennifer and Mrs Linda! Those teachers took such amazing care of our girls and truly cared for them as if they were their own. My girls loved going to school everyday day and still talk about how much they miss their teachers. The curriculum is amazing as well and my children went into kindergarten fully prepared in regards to their education but socially as well. I will forever be thankful that we sent our children to DELC and will always cherish the memories we created with our school family.

2017-11-18I can not say enough great things about the program, the environment, and staff. Teachers are AMAZING!! They are patient, loving, understanding and care for the children as if they were there own. The environment they provide for the children is safe, fun, and SUPER clean. My son is now 7, and he attended the school at the age of 3. He had such a great experience. So we decided to enroll our daughter shes 3 now and absolutely loves going to school every morning. Loves her teachers and fellow classmates. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Jennifer. Its reassuring as a mother to know my daughter feels safe, happy, and taken care of away from home. I have no doubt in mind its a experience you wont find anywhere else. We are lucky to have found a program like this. My daughter is striving and will continue to do so with the help of the teachers and staff at DELC. I cannot say enough of great things about the staff and the school. 2017-11-18This is the third year my daughter has attended Dearborn Early Learning Center. My husband and I absolutely love the teachers. Every child is treated as though they are family and showered with love and affection. It is a very warm and nurturing environment to learn in. My daughter comes home excited each and every day and cannot wait to tell us about all of the things she learned. I cannot thank everyone at Dearborn Early Learning enough for everything they have done. They are truly amazing people with the biggest hearts and so much patience. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a great preschool/pre-k experience. We are going to miss everyone so much when my daughter moves onto kindergarten next year.
