My muffler fell off, (Michigan potholes!) and they took care of me yet again! I hope I dont have to get more repairs but if I did know Im going here!

Update- moved over to the eastside and had my vehicle towed here because I know the level of service Ill get! They had my car ready in 2 days after major work was needed! Extremely happy!Been coming here since NOV 2013, Hassan and his crew are the best! Extremely knowledgeable, and always willing to work with you. Their prices are great, and work is second to none!

I have used this Shop for 9 years I love them. Not only will they identify every issue they also fix the issue the first time with very fare prices. I recently had a full tuneup $150 out the door and a rear deferential although that was under warranty in which they also offer they were so sweet to waive my $100 deductible. If your looking for a reliable mechanic dont hesitate to go see them.

Held my car for two days to tighten a bolt they forgot to tighten when they put the part on. Then did the same and jerked me around for two days lied to me about ordering parts and calling to fix the mistake so I give up gamble if you will
I was kinda nervous about trying a new car shop to work on my 300. And also being a female some mechanic would over charge you just because you dont know about cars. Detroit Complete Auto did the opposite they broke everything down to me and told me to call different car shop and detroit auto was the cheapest everybody else was at least couple hundred more. #1 in the CITY OF DETROIT! This the only spot in the city i take my cars to for the last 5-6 years. Everyone there is honest with reasonable prices. Today I went in because my coolant was leaking so I was thinking it was something major. They called me back and said the clamp just needed to be tighten. They didnt charge me nothing but the price to get it inspected! (Honesty here!) When they could have just b.s me and said other s*it. 6 🌟 ALL THE WAY! GREAT MECHANICS
Wifes car had a no start issue. Got it up to shop. Spoke with KC, he was able to get car in and diagnosed fairly quick. Car was repaired and ready by noon next day. Price was fair compared to other quotes. Thank you to KC and mechanics at Detroit Complete Auto Repair.

I love this place. Hank is the man! Friendly, honest service. The mechanic Hakeem showed me all my parts, took time to explain the problem and what it took to resolve the problem. I would recommend this service station. A+! AND they finance!11/14/19This place is the truth. I was still having problems and Hakeem tore my car apart and found my issue. Great auto shop. The mechanics are very precise and detailed with their work and guaranteed to have your car running like a pearl whether its rusty and trusty or a box on wheels.the staff is very nice especially Joe. That man will have you feeling great if you think theres no hope. He really works with you and make sure you get what you need and go with the most important 1st and they also give you 100 days to pay off the price for the work done. Oh let me not forget how affordable it is for parts and labor. This is truly an honest shop and they dont procrastinate or lie about what needs to be done. If they dont do the job they will tell that they dont or cant do it instead of try and take your money for more problems down the line. I took my mothers car here after taking it to multiple other shops where they told her the oil was burning off too quickly. She spent thousands of dollars other places and with Hank they figured out the issue in two days! They were able to get my mother a brand new engine at the lowest price possible. Hank was very sweet and kind to my mother. I live in East Lansing, and he made sure to get the car done for her quickly so she wouldnt have to use uber and other services. We really appreciated Hanks help, and kind heart. We will be back for any other services we need! Great family run operation!
Hank at Detroit Complete Auto Repair is really professional and reasonable. I always have fast turn around. They always focus on what you ask them to check out and wont try to make you get more fixed than whats needed. They always call before they start service and when its done.
I brought my car in ONLY to be inspected for free, but I received THE ABSOLUTE BEST service from Hank. I ended up getting most of what I needed done. His customer service was everything I needed being a woman knowing absolutely NOTHING about cars! Thank you guys so much!! The BEST!
Only repair shop I let touch my snow bunny (white Dodge Journey) last few days I needed a boost, went to auto zone they put it on the machine and said I had a bad battery, I thanked them and said I had to follow up with my mechanic(s) went to Detroit Complete Auto Repair and come to find out my battery is fine I need a fuel pump!! This is why I deal with them! And a special shout out to Joe for throwing in a free oil change!! Much appreciated!! I’ll be back soon to got my ac running before the weather breaks!!
I love this shop!!!They have pretty much rebuilt my VW. They make me feel like they care, and my car is in good hands. They beat dealership prices hands down. It also helps they are very close to me. .

My check engine came on last night when I was on my way to work the night before . So I searched for different auto repair shops in the city . I came across this one . Brought it to the shop the next day. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and also the guy that took a look at my car . It’s hard to find honest mechanics especially when your a female . I am very happy with the work that was completed on my Traverse car, I had air conditioning repair, struts on the front end done, shocks on the back, wheel bearing, antifreeze leak, and upper and lower control arms all complete very well done.
When I came back from out of town, my truck wouldn’t start. These guys took care of me and got me in and out the same day (literally, it’s only been 3.5 hours)! Highly, highly recommend.
Went for breaks because they were squeaking,after two visits,3 days apart my car is worst rhan it was when i started. 300 Dollars is what the repairs cost...was better off throwing the money out the window. My car is my lively hood,i will never trust neighbor hood shops again. It was walking distance from my house and i didnt want to inconvenience anybody for a ride....couldve rented a limo! Work too hard for my money for these games. Never again.

Very professional. It was hard finding someone to fix my car especially at a decent price. Some places wouldn’t even accept the job. This establishment had my car ready to go in 1-2 business days. Never any bad vibes and didn’t speak over my head in mechanic lingo!!

I was hesitant to bring my 2015 Yukon Denali to a indy shop because im used to going to the dealership for all my repairs. I have an extended warranty and of course not all shops accept extended warranty but sure enough not only did they get me a new engine they were able to get me back on the road in just a couple of days and they waived my deductible!!!!!! I would highly recommend this place thanks guys!!!

Horrible place. They rip you off. I had to have my brakes, rotors and calipers done twice in less than 12 months. Never heard of this before. If course I had to pay both times with their 90 warranty. And where did my shiny parts go now replaced with rusty parts. Dont go there!!!!
I received phenomenal service at this auto repair shop. My problem with my AC was quickly diagnosed and serviced within a very short amount of time. I would highly recommend!
I really question if they are licensed mechanics. I went there because my heat wasn’t working in my car. They changed me 450.00 to fix it. The next day I had to take it back because it started over heating. They attempted to fix it again. When I drove off it was working but two days later it started over heating again. I going to report them to the better business bureau. I hope they close them down!!!!The more people report they sooner we can get “Rip offs” out of Detroit!!!!!!

This place is a complete rip off. My daughter spent 700 dollars here and she is still unable to drive her car. It cut off three times just trying to get it across grand River. They are refusing to refund her or honor the warranty. Please do not do business with these people. Im reporting them to the better business bureau.

Total scam place! My van was overheating and took it there...they charged me 400 dollars and not only did they not fix the problem they ran my battery down by jumping a wire in the engine...they wanted another 400 to replace the electronic fan...I Took it somewhere else and found it was a 6 dollar sensor. Havent had the issue since. This place will kill your car!

2022-02-23I brought my car here thanks to my uncle. And i couldnt be more appreciative. My engine light was on. Rattling sounds and occasional burning smell. Turns out timing chain was going to go at any time. First shop i went too quoted me a minimum starting price of 2400. This place cut that in half. They had my car done within 4 days. Its perfect!💕

2021-09-29I take all my cars to them . They were the only place that knew how to fix my Malibu hybrid. I just bought a Cadillac and Moe helped me save a lot of money . I was able to get two cars fixed at once . I send everyone to them ! Trust me you won’t need another mechanic ! I could talk about them for hours lol. Contact them now !

2021-07-29I went into the shop due to my truck not switching gears, left my truck there to be inspected by the mechanic. I received a call from Mo saying that it’s leaking transmission fluid and that I would need a new transmission told me it would be a $2400 fix. I later call holbrooks and they said they would do it for $1800. I take my car there a Holbrook mechanic inspected my truck and turns out the transmission was fine and I walked out the door paying $670. Save your money yo

2021-03-04Update 2: I have noticed, upon further inspection & freeway driving, that the owner has gone Above and Beyond, balancing all my wheels and tires, while we wait for the rim to get shipped. A noticeable vibration due to unbalanced tires is no longer present. Because of this, I have changed my review to 5 Stars. This repair was unnecessary, and unrelated to my issue; but the owner chose to address it nonetheless, and at no additional cost to me. 2021-05-11They fixed my brakes and a couple of my other cars pretty decent they used to have a guy u almost had to argue with everytime but hes been fired so now they just fix what u ask for and again I will say that they fix what u ask for so if your car doesnt run take it to them and let them tell you whats wrong
