Dickeys Barbecue Pit in other cities:
I went tonight around 8:35pm and the Lady there was swiping the floor, she didnt say hi or bye or anything just WE ARE NOT TAKING ORDERS ANYMORE,WE CLOSE IN 20 MIM,then i told her that i have a dordash order to pick up,and i I came all haul away from 18 Mile and Garfield to pick up that order and shes like no I dont have that order here Im like its been already 20 minutes me driving and how come you dont have the order so shes like I dont have it and we are closing and doing cleaning so i probably didnt see it coming through my. So had to call my costumer and let h know and dordash support cancel everything, guess how much o got for driving 20 min,not even The gas money to come back where i left from,So yeah i should have the restaurant pay for my gas and my time
Cheap over priced cups/drink, not sturdy yellow. $4 almost.$10 brisket sandwich, smaller than $1 Wendys jr. Bacon. Over dried meat.Given 4 ribs instead of 6.Dried old bread.Potato salad tasted store bought. Odd aftertaste.Employee was rude and we had to come in to get curbside after a 10 minute wait. Its clear someone who owns or manages this place is trying to cut corners. This was on a Friday night, all restaurants around were busy this place was dead. Now I know why.Not what I am used to from Dickeys. If this is a franchise store someone needs to do some more quality control to protect the brand.I wish I had the capital as I would put a dickeys down the road as close as possible and blow this store out of the water.Truly sad
They honestly hire the sweetest, nicest & most accommodating people. Stephanie was such a pleasure to be around & everyone in here is just so kind and helpful. They could sell me tar & I would still be happy just based on how great the employees are. The food is also amazing
Some lady working at 5:30 Saturday had me on hold over 10 mins just to place an orderVery unfriendly staff. That bump rap music In the kitchen. This owner needs to fire and rehire his entire staff before he goes under. Will be writing to corporate franchise office for misrepresenting the brand!
The food is just mehh. I waked in on a Sunday to read a chalk board hand written saying free kids meal with every adult that spends ten dollars. Having two kids and my wife and I we ordered 2 adult meals with two meats two sides and a big yellow cup. And ordered two kids meals and was charged for one saying the deal is a max of one kid. I said but the chalk board says per kid meaning more than one. He proceeded to tell me dont take that chalk board to seriously. Well OK fine we took our carryout all the way back to 12 and John R. She unpacked the Food only to find three boxes of meat. Two kids meals and one more box of meat with two slices of brisket and some pork. When you order two adult meals we expect to. Be eating out of our own container not sharing one container. I called he basically blew me off. I said you think two pieces of extremely fatty brisket is fair? Your team need to learn to trim all that excess fat before cooking so patrons have more meat to eat when it weighed out. And it was slice with the grain and nothing irates me more then when its improperly sliced. Meats themselves needed sauce for flavor. The photo will show what we had to share for 30 bux. BTW we were shorted a corn bread.
Food was substandard BBQ. Paid for extra sauces we received no sauces whatsoever. Prices seem high for food quality and quantity. Bad glove discipline. Cashier handled food, answered the phone and went back to handling food with the same gloves. Wouldnt recommend unless you have no other choices.
Husband picked up online order. He said if it hadnt already been paid for he would have left immediately. He said the store was dirty, floors were sticky and employee was eating. The employee fetched out order without washing his hands.....neither of us really ate our meals. My brisket tasted of warmed over plain roast beef. The sausage was ok but cold. Husband said his chicken was ok but the pork was inedible and he found plastic in his potatoes. Needless to say we will not return. Id rather give this location zero stars.
The kitchen was visibly dirty from the dining room with the trash can overflowing and bits of stuff all over the floor. Neither employee acknowledged me at all when I stepped up to the counter to place my order, despite being the only customer in the building. The employee that rang me up complained the whole time about corporate not giving them the equipment they needed and that their system was always down. I cant speak to how their upper management runs things or treats them and I understand that working food service sucks especially during a pandemic, but the interaction I had and the obvious lack of cleaning was to the extreme end of laziness and just a lack of doing the bare minimum youre being paid to do. I used to love the one in Ferndale but now that its gone and this is my only option, we will no longer be dining with Dickeys.
This was our third time ordering from here and unfortunately this time was awful. We ordered two meat plates, both having the sliced brisket and pulled pork, and they were pretty much gross piles of fat with barely any meat. It was definitely a big disappointment having to throw out all the meat in both orders. You would think that the people making the orders would know better than to give a customer piles of fat as their meats. Im sure they would not have wanted to eat it either.
Garbage food, the meat was hard as if it were left out all day. The $10 chicken sandwiches are disgusting and worth no more than a Mcchicken. Sauce is runny and disgusting. Mac and cheese is the same as what you’d get from kfc. The ribs were “okay” but you get two individual bones. Not worth it AT ALL.
I ordered a 2 meat plate of pulled pork and sliced brisket online for carry out. There was no brisket in the box. When you pay almost $20 for a meal, you would expect that everything thats supposed to be in box is there. Customers left as I entered and I was the only customer there. Plus they had to make the order while I was there instead of having it ready when promised.
Massive disappointment. Food is great, unless they cancel your order after waiting 1.5 hours for it. The corporate website doesnt function properly to order online. I called and spoke to RJ and asked if he could place a delivery order for me as they promote free delivery. He said he can only place pick up orders. Doordash website also does not function properly to order more than one of the same side or meat dish when ordering the 2 for $24. I placed the order through doordash, Dickeys confirmed my order at 820pm. Called RJ back, asked if he could update the items, he said no problem. Both meals were turkey, chopped brisket, coleslaw, potato salad. Super simple. No rolls, no sauce, no beverages. Doordash canceled my order 941pm because we are unable to process the order with the restaurant. I have food allergies, I have 5 (now 4) safe places to eat which are all closed by the time Dickeys bailed. Hungry and pist. Only order here if you are prepared to cook for yourself at the last minute.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Got the wrong order was charged twice as much and they dont answer the phone. Waited almost 2 hours through grub hub. My son who did get to eat said it wasnt good and he didnt like it. I will be calling corporate to get my money back. Dont waste your time. No customer service.
Ordered from grub hub with friends. Chicken sandwiches were dry and like they were sitting out. Mac and cheese was watery and the brisket was dry and hard. Im more upset that these items are 10 dollars each, when I could have ordered a McDonalds chicken sandwich for less.
Last time i will order from here. I ordered a 3 meat plate (double chopped brisket and Turkey), brisket was 90% fat and there turkey tasted like reheated rubber. Also decided to try a taco. I got a empty tortilla, with the brisket and the cheese on the other side of the container. Brisket wasnt even warm enough to melt the cheese. Waste of $16. This location was good when they opened, but has gone down hill since. Will not be returning.
No problems with the staff like others have said. The food is just barely ok, not anything that would justify coming back or paying the prices. The portions are small and flavorless. Use the sauces or youll be really unhappy. Im pretty sure the max&cheese is from a box. Not at all worth the super high prices. We paid $78 and change for 3 sides and 3 meats.Tried a 3rd time, on August 3rd. The food is just garbage, last chance and still far overpriced.
The service here was absolutely wonderful. Great food, and they had a great deal on 2-2 meat plates so we went and got jalapeño cheddar kielbasa sausage, beef brisket x2, and pulled pork. All of the meats were great and delectable. The service was so good and they were very attentive. Please note that this Dickeys is under new management, and they made note to say so, explaining that they have such a bad reputation, so they had to switch under new management and it has paid off. Absolutely wonderful!
I had recently visited this place for the first time. despite it being a bit pricey for what you get, the food tasted pretty goodit’s more of a country styled restaurant. their green beans are flavored and peppered. it wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t very fond of it. other than that, everything else was great. they have pickles and onions by the other condiments so you can put on how much you likethe meat was kinda dry, but they supply you with three different bbq sauces. I assume they put none on so you can pick your ownlooking forward to returning here
Ordered full rack, 2 1 meat plates (pulled pork), and a slider. Got NO PULLED PORK (see attached pics). Also it took an employee and then the manager several minutes to figure out how to run a bill with cash then debit. And unprofessional rip off. I paid 59 bucks for 40 dollars worth of their menu. The food tastes fine...that is if you get what you order
This was our first time here. The food was good. We ordered the 2 for $22 special. I had chicken & polish kielbasa with mac & cheese as my sides. My husband had ribs & pulled pork with mashed potatoes & pork & beans as his sides. The meals came with choice of 2 meats, 2 sides, & a bun. We shared a glass of lemonade which was pretty good as well. Over all we both agree that well go back & give them another try. The bbq sauce is at the stand where the fountain drinks are. There are 3 choices: original, sweet, & spicy. Try them all. Youll likely find you prefer one above the others.
Dickeys completely fails at the most important part of any business. The complete disregard for their customer. I had a few simple questions about portions, the sides they offer, as well as if they had a sampler platter. My questions were met with complete disrespect from the woman behind the counter. Her name was Lindsey and I hope the owner sees this and rectifies her behavior. She was rude, short, and literally threw my food on the counter when she finished it.Honestly the food didnt make the disrespect worth it. I hoped at least if they treated my with disrespect the food might bring me back. But truly it wasnt anything that great.final thoughts? Wont be back and I sure as heck wont recommend it to anyone.
Some of the worst service Ive ever had, which is a shame because the food was pretty good. As a retail manager, I know the difference between awkward service and rude service and this was definitely the latter. Without looking up, the employee making my sandwich said to me What do you want? We dont have that. We dont have that. We dont have that either. We had a really busy lunch, so... Then the cashier proceeded to speed through her script like she was advertising for Viagra, also with no eye contact and a look of disgust on her face. It was really uncomfortable. I know lunch rushes are hard and its embarrassing when you run out of product, but a hello, how are you, or thank you. goes a long way to help that.
Disappointing overall. Food was meh, food was cold, portions were meh, and to be honest for the price this should be like 8 bucks max. Also for my delivery order they didnt give me any bbq sauces that I requested. Guess I will be eating bbq dry and not the way bbq gods intended.
I stopped at Dickeys to grab lunch headed to work. I asked for ribs. They told me there were out and waiting on a delivery. My second choice was chicken and they didnt have this as well. No beverage was offered for my inconvenience. As a last result I ordered pulled pork and beef brisket. And this was the worst meal I have ever ate. First and last time eating here.
This place was filthy. Needs to be super cleaned especially in kitchen area. Some of my food was served cold when should of been hot. They were out of turkey which is odd. The place is dirty and looks very unsanitary. Oh, and my husband took my 3 year old to mens room, and they came right out cause their was poop all over the toilot, so I had to use womans room. This place needa to get it together. I would of given it zero stars if I could. Food was a rip off for the experience
First time going here and it was horrible. Was only customer in there and ordered 2 sandwhiches with 2 sides as takeout Employees not very motivated they were more worried about talking to eachother. Took a long time and fries and onions were not even made until after the sandwhiches. They didnt even drain grease from them. We also didnt even get the right sides. Food all tasted like dirty grease very bad after taste. I only live a mile away and food was already cold before i got home. Store is dirty. My bad for wanting something different. This sterling heights location should be shut down.
This was my first time trying Dickies and I was super excited as Ive heard good things...We door Dashed.. First off they cancelled half of my order without letting us know. I ordered double ribs, sliced Brisket. What showed up from Door Dash was No Ribs and chopped brisket. All that aside, after sampling everything else that we ordered, almost everything was subpar.Mac N Cheese had a sour taste, The chopped brisket was Dry (Not even heaps of BBQ sauce would help) The bread seemed stale. BBQ beans were the best offering and I didnt get to eat them as my child wanted them in exchange of the Mac N cheese... OVER ALL POOR PERFORMANCE, EXECUTION AND COMMUNICATION.. I will not be back
Great place to stack up on some protein. Had some in Chicago and I honestly like my meats warm. Here it was cold, but it still tasted great! Ill pass on the Frank Red Hot sauce. Im a Tabasco guy, but the neat thing about this place is the complementary soft serve for paying customers.
Stopped in today to check out this place. The place was empty. The prices are too high. ($15 for a sandwich combo + 2 sides). The food was average; certainly not worth the money. The service was deplorable. The manager there actually said hes never tasted the BBQ sauce so he was not able to recommend one to me. Overall, I would rather drive to Livonia on any given day to Slos BBQ rather than the half a mile to this place. Service is SO important and this establishment has no concept of what it takes to please the public. I will not be returning. Too many fantastic restaurants nearby that know what theyre doing!
Just had Dickeys delivered by Door Dash. First time having it and it was delicious! Their BBQ sauce compliments the brisket and pulled pork perfectly. The fact that they seem to be cheaper than other local BBQ places is a plus. I will definitely be ordering from here more often!
Was not happy at first, because of the THREE websites i found for the same location, only one of them had online ordering and after getting everything set up..sign up, select all the items, put in my cc info, it wouldnt go through and made me start over. After three tries, I gave up, super irritated and drove to the store. When I got there, the two employees working that night were very helpful, and their kindness made my night much better. The guy said they were having internet issues and that could have been cause for the order problem. The girl that rang me up was also very nice, I believe her name was Miranda. She seemed genuinely patient and happy to help, and didnt mind checking my order again at the end from my written list because i was so flustered when i came in. Food was fantastic (Always is), and glad I made the trip in after all. Thanks guys!
Our experience wasnt very good! We were the only customers in there. Two out of the three ladies behind the counter were less then helpful. We asked for okra and were told the freezer was broken and either the food was freezing or the food would be spoiled. The one woman who was managing or should have been informed the other ladies as they stood and gossiped while she worked that the condiments containers were empty. After receiving my food, the brisket was very dried out, the sides werent worth eating except for the okra.Overall experience was not good! From the gossiping staff to the food could use improvement
Im editing my previously great review. Dickeys BBQ used to be my favorite quick BBQ sandwich joint. The staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions from the menu when they are there I visited multiple times in which it took a while for someone to appear at the front counter. One of those times, nobody showed at all. I repeatedly called out and also opened the front door in case it was linked to a chime I left and walked over to the subshop a few doors down and decided I still wanted BBQ so went back and waited 5 more minutes. I left after about 20 minutes. (These two visits were pre-COVID). The quality of of the brisket had recently decreased and was overcooked, tough, and stringy. ~ JTC ~
Loved the food but it was my first time eating in the restaurant and I dont think i ever will again. The employees were rude and laughed at me when i went to the register to order. There was no sign saying order here so i went to the register and rather than being told i can help you down here, they laughed and said you order over there. Then when i asked about the sizes of the side orders the employee laughed again and said just look at our menu, its right there. I repeated the question and he held up two different sized bowls with attitude as if i was inconveniencing him. He laughed when i ordered the pulled pork sandwich without slaw, my mistake as I didnt realize there was a just pulled pork sandwich, but theres still no reason to make a customer feel stupid on their first visit. Never going back. I shouldve known not to eat there when i went in on a Friday at noon and there was only one other person there.
The meat was really delicious, moist and tender. Thats the only reason Im giving them 2 stars. Their prices for what you get are horrible. My 2 meat plate with 2 sides and a roll was pathetic. My bill for the 2 meat plate and a small salad and No drink was just under $17! When they handed me the tray I was tempted to say Is that it???! The small salad I added was aptly named... it was so small it would have fit into a custard cup! Potato casserole was good. Onion tangles were okay... but not much really to write home about. Corn bread was laughably small with some kind of squeeze butter drizzled on top. Ice cream was not the greatest even though it was free.Staff was ok... We were greeted promptly but nothing more than a typical Welcome to Walmart. There are SO much better BBQ places in the area like Bad Brads, or my personal favorite Lazybones Smokehouse, which are 1000 times better than this place. Both my husband and I said that this will be the last time we ever come here. A waste of time and money 😕
Great theming and atmosphere! We spend hours of conversations on that cut of meat mural. I like having a place like this nearby.Pretty good food. The entrees seem a little plain, very run-of-the-mill and not very adventurous. You can spice it up a bit with the barbecue sauces on the table, but again, those are very adventurous either.
Where do I start with this dumpster fire?Upon entering, would it be too hard to hang a sign that said order here? Myself and three other parties were confused by the ordering setup. The person taking the orders is also the cook. Hes a little too busy to be taking orders. Hand that job off to somebody else. I ordered a rack of ribs, and a chicken taco. I was informed that they didnt have any ribs. Then they found some. Should have been suspicious there. When people talk about fall off the bone ribs, these arent them! These are gnaw off the bone! But first you have to get past their seasoning. Salt is a seasoning, not an ingredient! I practically had to wipe my ribs clean for them to be edible. As far as the chicken and cheese taco, do you like 4 chunks of chicken and a sprinkle of cheese? Then I guess you can call that a taco. Nothing interesting on the seasoning or flavors, no sauce at all.I would go back there and complain since Im only a block away, but the lady who eventually waited on me said that she should have gone home an hour ago. So I think my complaints would have fallen on deaf ears anyways.First time and last time Patron.
This location is just awful! Food was cold...every table was dirty, and the floor was puddled up with ice tea all in front of the pop machine to the ice cream machine! They either turned off the ice cream machine or just didnt want to refill the machine that day! The 45 minutes we ate there they did nothing about the puddle of ice tea, and they did not even put up a sign that the floor was wet...also didnt even clean a table! The 2 employees that worked there seem to not want to do there job and could care less what the place looks like. One employee was serving and running around while the other was in the back! This place is very poorly managed and will be closing soon if something is not done about your careless employees that are running it!
We went to the Dickeys on Van Dyke just south of Metro Pkw & I have to say there was much to be desired. While the food tasted good, they were out of almost everything. No waffle fries, no chicken, no turkey, no ice cream or cones. potato salad had waaaay too much mustard.. The place was dirty & the floors were gross. Bathroom needed a good cleaning too. Go to a different location if you’re going to go to a Dickeys. Very disappointing & a big missed opportunity here!
The food was very bland pretty sure it has been sitting around all day. Found cellophane wrap in my brisket, the taco was very sad, and the Mac n cheese tastes like wax. The service was not very inviting and was not very customer friendly. Will avoid eating at this location.
Food was DISGUSTING! Ordered through uBER eats and asked for BBQ sauce. I don’t like eating meat without the sauce and that’s not being extra considering it’s food I paid for. Anyway I call and the guy who answered was so rude and acted like he just didn’t care. Overall bad service and again the food wasn’t even good for them to be acting like that.
Ordered in with grubhub for 2, order was on time yet to my disappointment only 1/2 my food came. my buddies 3 meat plate only had 2 meats my pulled pork sandwich never came my Cesar salad was another no show too. Bottom line if you order from here you might not get the food you were planning on eating.
Had to repeat myself several times while taking my order. After overpaying and brought my food home it was (not suprising) incorrect. Called back and spoke to the same person and he was still not listening. I assured him he was incompetent of taking orders and he kept making excuses and stated it was not the same person. Asked to speak to manager and his response was, I am the manager. Cashier asked if i wanted sauce and replied, Yes!, and gave no sauce. Food was dull and tasteless. Wont return.
I had ordered from door dash and it got here sooner then expected 😀 the order was wrong, I called them up and guy I talked to was very polite and sent me the correct order. Delicious food and wonderful customer service. I will definitely be ordering from Dickeys again!
I tried this place last week. I was greeted by two people who looked actually irritated I walked in. Against my better judgement I decided to try the food they offered. I was horrified at how terrible the whole meal tasted. Ill never return and would have rather gone without dinner than ever eat what they sell here again.
STAY AWAY Over priced small portions totally using liquid smoke. Gave me instant heart burn my wife gave most of hers to our dog and he didn’t even eat it. Staff was rude. Place was dirty tables and floor were sticky and they were busy talking to each other about someone else who who got sent home to get more napkins.
So dickeys flavors arent always a super standout; but their prices arent bad. You can get unlimited pickles and ice cream.cones with your meal depending how.much you can eat. If you saved your old byc; you can get cheap reuses on future visits. They had a punch card. Love this place.
First and last Dickeys visit i came in an hour before closing and the workers were already closing , shouldve known something is wrong when there was no one there. The employees kept snapping at each other too , the brisket was so dry it hurts your throat when you try and swallow it.
This place charges real quality bbq restaurant prices with the food quality of a tv dinner, to sum it up best. Its robbery really. Mac and cheese tastes like stoeffers. Brisket is a sorry excuse for being called a brisket. Polish kalbasa was decent.Potato salad was good. Dinner roll was laughably dry like the Sahara. Ice cream was awful.Everything is definitely not made in house here. Staff wasnt upbeat or friendly, no smile or feeling welcome. There are much better places around the area ie Bad brads, slows bbq, or lazybones are 1000x better than this place. I wont be returning unless they improve the food, which I highly doubt.
I was very disappointed with the food which arrived cold and not enough to feed 10 people even though the catering package is supposed to feed 10 people. I called to complain and the girl was rude and dismissive. I will never order from this place or recommend to anyone.
I’m being very generous giving a 1! They were out of turkey, coleslaw, and ice cream, was being made when we sat down at 3:00 in the afternoon, also didn’t like the fact that when I received my credit card back he had the same greasy gloves on, that he used to make my food, and walked back to finish after the transaction!
I went in there today told them what I wanted fried okra they didnt hear me one guy thought I said fries I said no I said fried okra and the other guy said he said fries so I just walked out Im not going to go back and forth because you didnt hear me wow an I know alot of ppl I could have sent here ppl I work
I work at shap my lunch time is around 11 am I came in and ordered a 2 meat plate with Mac and potato double chicken. I got pulled pork and then they told me that chicken was already made and if I wanted a different chicken Id have to wait an hour if I could share a photo I would because its not like any chicken Ive ever gotten from dickeys.
Dissapointed, looking foward to barbq. Meat wasnt very warm. Salad was old and browning. Barbq sauce pots seemed awkward to use, pot with laddle, how many people fill their cup over pot and over their hand in to the pot as well. Pot of bacteria at ideal temperature to grow.
An OK meal.Impressions from my 1st time at a Dickeys BBQ Pit.There are a good amount of menu choices and I couldnt decide so I got 1 of each of the 4 sliders-Pulled Pork Slider: not good, weird taste but it was moist-Beef Brisket Slider: my favorite-Jalapeno Cheddar Kielbasa Slider: eh its ok but not as good as it sounds-Chicken Breast Slider: Ok but just way too dryOverall Im not sure Id get any of these again, maybe the beef Brisket if I do and if I do its going to be in Taco form, that could be good with some tomatoes and lettuce. unfortunately you need to provide those since all it comes with is the meat and bun, no sauces or other topping on them so they are kind of bland. There is a condiment station that has the BBQ sauce, pickles, and HUGE slices of onion but even when u add some of each its still kind of dry and lacking that punch of flavor.I also tried the mac and cheese, again its just Mac and cheese like you get at KFC.Other thoughts - there are no carry out utensils, and its not easy to eat Mac and cheese with a straw or the top from your soda... and those onions, seriously they are HUGE they dont even fit in the mac and cheese container how are you supposed to get them in the BBQ containers?
Ordered 3 sandwiches, 1 drink and beans for lunch through grub hub. $46 later and only 2 sandwiches get delivered. 2 small hamburger size sandwiches. I called and complained and the lady on the phone said, oh my bad. You can come pick up the other sandwich! I paid grub hub to deliver in the first place. Wth!Never eat here. Food is expensive, boring and small servings.
Never going back!!! This place is nothing like the restaurant in Troy. Went twice and both times they where rude and unprepared. Place was dead nobody would fill the userve BBQ sauce. The just kept giving me half full container s i had to go up 3 times I give it 6 months and there closed

2021-10-14I was reluctant to come here because of the reviews, but Im glad I did. Went on a Thursday late afternoon. Very good customer service; I was greeted when I walked in. Ordered 2 pork out platters. Food was hot and plentiful. Little pricey, but thats to be expected. Everything has increased in price.

2022-04-21Ordered for delivery through Grubhub- ordered two pulled pork sandwiches with a medium side of coleslaw. Both sandwiches came without pickles and onions, which were requested in the order to be included on the sandwiches. Medium coleslaw (which was nearly $9) was actually an individual portion, for maybe a toddler. Legitimately two spoonfuls. No napkins or silverware in the bag. Pork was dry and flavorless. Extremely disappointing experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Pictured is the medium coleslaw compared to their very small container that the bbq sauce comes in. Keep in mind the size coleslaw I ordered and paid for, costs as much as a sandwich.

2022-06-01Jenna (the girl with awesome red hair) made my experience so good. We forgot out buns and she ran outside to give them to us! So funny and polite she just put a smile on my face! Food is awesome too! Get there early the run out of ribs because they are so so good! Thank you

2021-11-22Paid almost $30 for this and its not even enough food, portion wise to feed a toddler. Definitely my last time ordering from this place. Basically its overpriced cafeteria food.

2021-05-24This is the epitome of fast food bar b que and high priced for what you get. Also can management tell your employees how to cut brisket please. I mean seriously cmon. Its a shame the person responding to these comments isnt the ACTUAL owner. Visited today 5/24/21 and things have continued downhill for this place. Old oil in the fryer, dry pulled pork, no large cups, and way overpriced. Sprinkle on rude employee, yes employee. And there you have it. I will never return to this location.

2019-04-21Stopped by on Easter to get ribs, unfortunately it was out. There was no waiting, I was the only customer there. I ordered 2 meat combo and chicken slider kids meal. Service was slow to be the only customer there. Ice cream/drink area was dirty and the machine was not operable. Sweet tea was not sweet at all, tasted just like the unsweetened tea. I didn’t know chicken sliders didn’t come without bread. Needless to say I didn’t get my roll with my meal either. Also, the cook didn’t fry the fries until the rest of my food was boxed and ready to be bagged. That added an extra 5 minutes. I thought it was odd my fries for the kids meal was served in a paper bag when they have food containers for food. Probably won’t be back.

2022-02-11I was in town and wanted some bbq, so I stopped at Dickey’s. Glad I did, the brisket tasted like it was fresh out of the smoker and it’s so tender and juicy. Very good bbq.
