Very clean and nice staff willing to help you
This store has very limited options and it is so disorganized that coming in is not enjoyable. Regardless of the item you are looking for. Last week I was looking for LH golf gloves and found none. This week it is football cleats and again found just one, lots of baseball cleats though. Staff is not very helpful or knowledgeable about sport items. I love Dick’s and I think they will survive just online if their service or options at stores continue.
The store is huge has most of the sporting brands. Maybe all of them. The clearance racks will always have something for my boys. It is harder to find shoe sizes for my boys too. I also love to visit the store to look around at what new collection they have despite the high price tag that comes with it. Great collection on camping supplies too.
Nice store! lots of options, Im especially fond of the shoe section for its great selection. Above all, the customer service was amazing. I was quickly offered help, which turned out to be GREAT! the employee was very helpful and introduced me to my current pair of running shoes.(Nike Fly knit)

Bought a womans bicycle and was told about the protection plan I could add for a small amount of money. Went back and got the protection plan today for three years. Cant wait to go bike riding!
Huge store with a huge selection. Mostly clothing, but tons of equipment for everything from soccer to fishing to running to hunting. Clean, open, easy to find stuff. Friendly staff, if a bit sparse. Decent prices, usually can find a coupon online or in a flier.
We had the best sales help in the baseball department. I wish I knew the gentlemans name. He was so helpful and patient with my son and I and spent extra time looking for the baseball glove size we needed and understanding the difference in styles and sizes of gloves for different positions. Thanks!
I dont know what folks are talking about with the low reviews, my experience was far different. The guys here are the nicest and most helpful. I went and got a punching bag with stand and they were amazing.The attitude was phenomenal. They took their time with me and even when waiting for the items to be brought out each person that passed me kept asking to help!I had the best experience. I would recommend this store. Amazing people all round.
This store is so clean and organized.Best part- They had what I wanted in my size! They also carry Footjoy socks. Checkout was easy and the staff was friendly. I have never been disappointed coming here.
Funny story. I stopped in on my lunch hour to purchase a pair of gloves. I was surprised how large the store was. It was basically empty at the time. The only guy in the store was looking at gloves 🧤 so I had to wait. Ok, you had to be there... Anyway, they were nice.
Having a store like Dicks with great selection to examine the quality and try it firsthand with having options to pick it directly or order it. Touching the product and compare it to other options is far better and a must than just see the internet questionable reviews.
Purchased an ankle brace for my daughter. When we went to pit it on, it had no laces in the package. I did return the item and exchanged for one with laces. Time is valuable in this lifetime. Doing quality control for Dicks is not my idea of time well spent. Disappointed.
Bought a Schwinn Hybrid bicycle was really impressed with the quality of the assembly of the bike. They put the bike through a 12 point checkup before they gave me the bike. I would highly recommend buying a bicycle from them.
The shoe department in this store was trashed. There was little selection in womens shoes. Endcaps with discount shoes was not only cluttered it also had zero organization between mens/womens/kids shoes. After digging and finding a pair that was my size I take it to the check out only to find out it was a full price pair of shoes.
Stopped in for a kayak paddle expecting to get ripped off. Got a great paddle a Day Tripper for I think 40 or 50 bucks. Headed up looking at their fishing rods as well and saw some good deals.
Very friendly staff. Greeted entering store, directed to what I asked about and helpful checkout staff. I needed to get one more item because of a sale, and they went and got it for me.
Store is clean and organized, staff is helpful and friendly. Not many options for left-handed golfers, but thats usually normal.

Today was the first time out of many that I was actually asked if there was anything they could help me find. After finding what I wanted, I approached the counter with my coupon in hand for 15% off any regular priced apparel item. They scanned all of my items then my coupon, just to tell me that my coupon didnt work and theres nothing they can do. She didnt even try to do anything. It was a dicks spring goods coupon. Dunhams is right across the street. From now on Ill just go there. This place is terrible.
Bought a bike for my wife and was surprised they did full inspection and took care of a wobbly wheel ...even noticed a missing reflector......Excellent sevice guys
This Dicks Sporting Goods does not offer military or veteran discounts. I guess it does not matter that I deployed twice to Afghanistan to defend our country. The Dicks in Utica used to offer military/veterans discounts but has since changed their policy to honor only active military discounts. I only use these two stores as show case rooms now. I go there to find a product I like then go home and buy it online cheaper.
Good in store choices for a multitude of sports and activities. Customer service was very helpful in ordering something off their website when it was discovered they do not carry it in store.
I cant remember the young lady s name that helped me ...but she was awesome and super cool ... i couldnt find my size in the shoe I wanted .... she walked up to me and asked if she could help me find what I was looking for ...I told her what I needed ...she went and got a ladder from the back room and checked the upper shelves for my shoes ... she looked at every single box for my size ... she ended up sharing a little trick with me about sizes and as it turned out I was able to leave the store with a new pair of shoes... she was so sweet and kind ... im kicking myself for not being able to remember her name .... but shes at the Dicks sporting goods store in Rochester...at Rochester and Avon rds ...ill for sure go back and shop at Dicks ...

Awful place. terrible selection, couldnt find what I was looking for, couldnt get any help. all the employees were in little groups playing around not paying any attention to any of the customers. the few I did see walking around were eyes to the ground, never even looked up or acknowledged my existence. if its going to be this bad you shouldve just stayed in the old building. I will never shop there again.
These guys have everything. We need this chain in the UK as they are amazing. They have everything you could possibly want from every sport or outdoor activity.Staff as always on hand to help too.
Purchased high end exercise bike, which stopped working after 2 months, because I had used the bike they would not except it as a store return where other Dicks stores would. Look elsewhere.

A sporting goods store that barely has anything for hunting or fishing? I find it sad that supermarkets like Meijer and Wal-Mart have a bigger selection of hunting and fishing gear then a sporting goods store.
The young man that helped us (AP or Austin) was extremely kind to me and my children when shopping for soccer cleats. He went out of his way to explain the reason for price differences, styles and even how to tell soccer cleats from baseball cleats.
Love the store, but on my own every time I go in there. Big store, I go in to spend serious $ and would appreciate better service.

Horrible store, every time I go there they never have anything in my size Im a medium or large. All they have is xl, xxl, or 3x. Staff is so rude at this location. You go there to try stuff on and they dont have your size their response is order it online. I cant see this location staying open much longer and frankly I wouldnt be sad to see it go. Save yourself some time and disappointment and go to another location!
Came here to buy winter spider gloves, they had a great selection of sizes and different climates. Picked up a pair and they fit like a glove :)
Try finding someone to help. Let alone the cashier/manager is arguing with a guest about a coupon they dont have and I need to wait. Make the person the shows up without the coupon wait. Just a thought.
Anything and everything I need as far as sporting good, and camping products go. Some prices are high and I can usually find the exact same product on Amazon for cheaper.
This location is under construction, so I leave this review taking that into consideration. Even before construction began, this store always seems to be understaffed and disorganized. There are two fitting rooms for the entire store, so if you go on the weekend be ready to wait in a line to try on clothing.
Hardly anyone around to help you with the things you need. Some of their isles are completely trashed and unorganised. Management and the employees are slow to help you.

I went in looking to buy Brooks running shoes. I was totally ignored by 2 salespeople. I even said hi to one salesperson and was ignored. They just lost my business.

2022-06-22I took my GT Avalanche mountain bike up here to have some work done cause I bought it there 8 months ago. I told them it was making a creaking or cracking noise and I thought the back brakes needed to be changed. The lady said a basic tune up will fix the creaking noise, so I had that done. I get a call a week later that my bike is ready and was told in a voice-mail that my brakes were fine. I get the bike back and $65 bucks later my bike is no different, I tired asking the guy about it but he just seemed annoyed I was asking him questions. It wasnt Jeff. Jeff sold me the bike and is a great guy. Wish I was able to talk to him about it but now I get to take it somewhere eles and spend more money. Update- Rode it about 5 miles and the derailleur that was just adjusted is now not shifting right and when it does it is not clicking in some gears.

2022-05-13They don’t have a simple thing like compression sleeves. They sell me their only busted box with only one in it. Looks like it’s been used and disgusting. Never again. Avoid this place at all costs.

2022-02-20Some staff workers are just rude to customers and seem uninterested to help. My mom struggles with English and the two teens standing behind the counter would just make nasty stares and make her feel uncomfortable which causes her to stutter. ONE worker was kind enough to help my mom. You don’t have to have a smile on your face 24/7 but since you are working with customers at least be respectful.

2022-01-20Don’t let Steve sharpen your ice skates. He is either completely incompetent or purposely tried to ruin the blades. Had to take my skates to a local hockey shop and get then corrected. My blades had a 45deg angle. Hockey shop was laughing at how ridiculously bad they were.

2021-05-08I bought my daughter a bike from here. A man named Davante helped me. He was very informative, professional, helpful and patient with us through our purchase. You would not get this kind of service at other department stores or sporting good stores. I know this because I was in the market for a new bike for a while and never recieved this service... Thank you for the great experience. I have no problem spending my money here!

2021-01-05They have a large selection of shoes (walking, running ect) but the salesman seemed marginally knowledgeable about shoes. He didnt stay with us, to assist us with type and finding appropriate shoes. I know this is not a shoe store but I think he should assisted us better.

2019-07-06Comparing to other sporting goods store this one has everything! In the past the guys working on bike were very helpful in fixing the brakes on my daughters bike which I also purchased there few years earlier. The staff is super friendly and will approach you fast when you look like you need help. The only negative, which maybe associated with the business model and capacity of the shelves, is that the selection of bike accessories is a bit low. Otherwise 5 stars.

He found all the items he wanted to purchase in this store so he inquired about their prices and services regarding delivering and installing. He liked the store very much and will be back after doing some research online before purchasing the items he chose. Nice and clean store.
