Asked for help to get a coat down. Waited for 10 minutes and no one came but in the next section the employees were just standing there. Of course when Im leaving another guy comes to the door and asks if I found everything ok. Um no sir I did not finally go to a store and cant get for help. So disappointed
They always have lots of good items in stock. I wish they had PLAIN BLACK LEGGINGS! I did not find one good quality pair. All the employees are super friendly nice and very helpful. The store is very clean. This place is very organized and well maintained. This location has a very good team and leadership. Will definitely be back soon!
I think this is a great store. Its rather difficult at times to find help when you need it, and thats not too horrible, considering its a decently busy store. They really do not have a good weapon selection anymore, like they used to. But the staff is friendly and helpful. Usually quite a wait at checkout. However, I do go during peak business times it seems.
Nice beautiful store but the entrance has a big pot hole which I hit coming in. Would have been nice if the 10 employees including management who were talking amount themselves were aware of customers looking for help. Upgrade your level of awareness of your customers coming in the store and leaving empty handed because no one cared to look up and acknowledge a customer waiting to ask for help. I am sure to be back and try again but I get great help from the other store just west of you. Wishing you all the best though.
My first visit was awesome. The person was extremely helpful and went way above and beyond in the shoe department. The second visit wasnt as pleasant. The kid working the floor for clothing was cocky and unhelpful. Results may vary, and inventory hasnt really suited my needs.
Went to the Dicks on Hall Rd by VanDyke. Store was very clean and organized. Its a very big store. In my opinion, they had a lot of different things. Kind of like something for everyone. We purchased shorts and shirts our neice wanted for her birthday. The regular pricing seems pretty expensive on some items but that is not the locations fault (for a pair of girls Nike shorts, regular price was about $50 and sale price was about $25. A tank top was $48). There were a lot of sale and clearance items. They had a decent amount of exercise machines. I saw that they had a good selection of children and adult clothing in a variety of brands. Staff were helpful and friendly. We asked for and received a gift receipt without any problems.
Went there to test out a driver and buy it. When I got there, Jim suggested I bring in my driver to see how Im hitting it on the simulator. I went again on Sunday afternoon and Jim was very helpful! He showed me how I was hitting and the simulator was super accurate. Jim was so good and not pushy at all. I didnt end up buying a driver but I will buy my next golf equipment from him. Ill also send all my golf friends to him. Honestly, the greatest sales man is one that you dont know hes trying to sell you something!
Dont want to leave feed back just yet we have to see what the outcome of the issues we are having with a bike we bought at Easter time not even 6 months old and paid over 500 dollars for its a gt aggressor the bike just keeps messing up the derailer its been in now 3 times for the same issue
Unfortunately, this afternoon my family and I did not have a great experience at Dicks. We normally have no problem; however, today was terrible. To start, my four year old son needed to go to the restroom. We rushed in to the womens bathroom and I noticed that there was a puddle on the floor so we walked over it carefully. My son carefully used the toilet and the second I opened the door he face planted in the puddle. He was completely soaked and crying saying his hand hurt. I washed his hands, while he was still crying and found an employee half way across the store. When I told the man that my son had just slipped in the bathroom and he was soaked and crying the man simply said, Ok, Ill take care of it. He didnt ask of my son was ok or anything. I was very disappointed about that. Then next, my husband checked out while I took my kids to the car. When my husband came out with our purchases, he told me that two of the shirts that I thought were on sale werent. I told him I would go back in and return them. I walked in with my two receipts and tried to return the shirts. The same girl that just rang up the shirts helped me. She scanned the shirts and the receipt and told me they werent on that receipt. I told her that I had just gone from the store to the parking lot and it had to be on that receipt. I finally said, Im not stressing about this...just give me the shirts I already bought. Sure enough, once I was able to get home and check the receipt, both shirts were on there. I dont know what was going on there today...but I was very disappointed with the experience today.
I like this store because its always the newest products and the best product s . Its what the kids want . I also like see my son out there looking like a major leauge player. Prices are higher the Dunhams but the product is better period. Ill pay a little more for good quality product. The overall experience is awsome and the employees were nice and professional. I will recommend to my friends and I will be back. Good job

2022-04-09Standing by the Yeti coolers looking to buy one and was asked to “please step away for security reasons” and was told they need to lock them up. This was in the middle of a Saturday so not like it was closing time. Not sure if it was a power tip or what but I walked out.

2022-05-20Referred to this location because the Roseville employees didnt know how to regrip a golf club. What do you know--the employees here said it would be at least 2-3 days before anyone would be in who could do the regripping. Why even have anyone working in the golf area if they arent trained to do *basic* tasks in the golf field?? Drove all the way around the city to multiple locations to just have them tell me to go to Golf Galaxy. I should have just gone to a small business after this boondoggle.

2021-10-28Great place, tidy and in order, the dressing rooms were clean, and the clothes were on right hangers and they all looked nice. Nothing was littering the ground, nothing in the dressing rooms, and I mean nothing. The room was spotlessly Clean. They had 4 mirrors with lights and a bench and hooks to hang up your clothes. All the guns and the sports stuff were nice also. The guns also had someone watching them and the sports section had every sport you could imagine. This place is incrediblly good.

2021-06-15I was in there the other night.. founds almost everything I was looking for, however I wanted to by a tennis bag which I didn’t see any in the section where all the tennis equipment was, it was a poor selection of rackets anyway. I couldn’t find any staff member to assist me after looking around the store. Went to cash out and the cashier was cold and hurried, you would think that she may of asked if I found everything ok, then I would’ve asked if they had any tennis bags or equipment. However if you have a poor attitude, why would you ask for assistance. Customer service you be held at a high standard and you should always greet your customers even if you have to fake, it’s uncomfortable when you can tell, she didn’t want to be there. I just don’t understand why it’s so hard to get great service especially when you are spending a pretty penny.

2021-08-29Stopped in to drop off a few clubs to be regripped. Jim asked me if I could kill 20 mins in the store, hed do them while I waited. Of course saving a second trip is good and amazing customer service! Go see Jim in Sterling Heights 🏆

2021-05-21Bought a 45 dollar shirt for my husband. It was too big on him however with Covid it took us a while to be able to get around to exchanging it. They had the shirt in his size and refused to let us exchange it. With everything going on it’s terrible that they would be so willing to let us waste our money at their store and be so unhelpful. Will never buy from this store again.

2020-07-27Things seem poorly managed. Items lack pricing.I went in with a gift card. I looked around for things to get since I really didnt have anything specific to buy. I quickly became frustrated as many items had no price marked on it or on a posted marker. I asked an associate for pricing on items and finally got 2 items totaling pretty close to my gift card value. When I was at the checkout, the one item I got that HAD a posted price of $29.99 rang up at $49.99. I went back and took a picture of the posted price with matching sku. The sales person had to call the manager who didnt believe my picture so he walked all the way back to look for himself (which is understandable)while waited at the checkout for 5-10 minutes. I didnt like it that he stopped to help another customer while I was waiting, though. He DID finally honor the $29.99 price, which was nice. However, the shopping experience was pretty frustrating.

2021-04-29Very pleasant people work there. Had to take my bike because the pedal kept coming off. It was very quick service, no questions asked they just fixed it.

2021-11-03It’s a shame that the military discount is not offered at all stores, very few actually and not even online. It’s a small token of appreciation that goes a long way.
