Comment: Had a super low tire setting off my tire pressure light on Friday afternoon. Went to my favorite Discount Tires. Usually they help me right away but that joint was SO busy, parking lot packed, that they apologized it was a 3-4 hour wait. Sarkis saw my stress over this and got me an appointment the next morning. They were thorough, determined it was a different problem and fixed it quickly. With that and a tire rotation I was back on the road in 90 mins. I love this shop. The staff and manager are great.

Comment: Jason, the Service Writer, and Tony, the Manager, are great, and so are the guys who are servicing our cars in the garage. I called last Friday to make an appointment for an oil change and filter, and to have them check my battery. I took my car in for that late morning appointment on Monday, and as busy as they were on Memorial Day, my car was ready in about the hour and 15 minutes that I was told that it would be done, and I dont need to change my battery out yet. So, I recommend them for tires and full service, which I regularly do there now.

As soon as I walked on the property I was greeted and asked if I needed help with my tires. They did an amazing job and were able to work around my schedule since I had to pick up my son from school. Not to mention the location is great and parking was not an issue. I highly recommend this place for any of your tire related issues or other mechanical issues.

Comment: I moved to CA from the east coast over 2 years ago and when it came to doing maintenance service on my car, I didn’t know who to go to. One day I was driving to the Walmart in Burbank, past by discount tires, looked at their website and figured I’d give them a try. So far I’ve been to them for an oil change, new tires and a front alignment and every time I went, they’ve always been good to me and the repairs I feel are done very well. Every time I drove my car out of the shop, everything with my car seemed good! And the manager Sarkis is a really great and nice guy! At the time I’m writing this review, I just brought my car in a week ago to get new brakes and after the repair job my car seems to be running just fine! Everything is good. Plus I liked how Sarkis brought me into the garage to show me his recommendations of what work needed to be done. I fully trust the staff at discount tires and they’ve been doing a good job! I know to bring all my major car repairs and maintenance work to them! I’d recommend them!

Comment: I went there to repair my tire of a puncture and found out that the front tires were too worn out to be fixed so i decided to change the tires completely. Kudos to Alex who took the time to explain and provide recommendation on the best options for me. I didnt had any appointment and drop by. They were able to replace my tires and do the alignment to the 4 wheels and after 2h i got my car back. I truly recommend this place as the team is great and the price are very competitive vs Costco and way better than the Tesla Service Center. Legit and serious place and once again, big up to Alex for his assistance! Will come back there definitively for my tires rotations and alignments moving forward.

Comment: I am very disappointed in the quote I received Sun (3/18/24). I brought my car in and was told $1000 for front/back rotors/brakes. I just had front rotors/brakes installed before I moved from Chicago to CA in Sept ‘23. Even the technician told me they were new but they had to be replaced to prevent unevenness. I just took my car to another place and they quoted me $489 only the back needs to be done the front is fine. So was I quoted the $1000 because I am a woman and you thought I was stupid? I brought my car in because of the 4.6 star reviews and thought I could not go wrong. I’m not going to mention the person’s name that helped me on Sunday. But if he and the owner of this business is reading this you both should be ashamed!

Upon walking in here, I didn’t know what to expect. Alexander greeted me with a warm smile and helped me right away. He was able to order the tires I wanted and honor the online offer. When I returned later in the day to have them put on the tires, I decided to just wait inside. Comment: If you are a woman or not well informed about cars and tires RUN! I brought my car for a low tire, only to end up with a brand new tire and RELENTLESS SQUEAKING. Even though I explained I had no squeaking prior to them changing my tire, they were reluctant to let me bring my car back for them to look. I finally brought my car back but they were rude and showed their annoyance. After finally looking at my car they claimed the squeaking can from the underside being rusted and how it was irresponsible of the owner to not spray underside car with some form of protection…? I ended up bringing my car to another shop. Needless to say there was an issue with the brakes on the side the tire was replaced. Something they did not find the first or second time I brought my car in.

Comment: They were no help. Scheduled an appointment and when I arrive they tell me I have scratches on my rims... ya my car is 15 years old not gonna have perfect rims. They take pics so they arent liable, not that serious but okay whatevs. Then they tell me they dont have the right socket to match my rim because its aftermarket. Okay... so where can I get one? No help, no referrals, nothing. You would think a business dedicated to one thing - fixing and changing tires, would have tools for all types of wheels but I guess the mechanics here have to buy their own tools. Probably because the business doesnt generate enough revenue to pay their workers a livable wage. Maybe thats why they were so unhelpful. But anyway, decided to just go to American tire instead and they hooked me up quickly with some nice BFGoodrich tires.

I had just bought the truck from another guy who claims that all the maintenance was done, but apparently wasnt. When driving from California to Alaska you got to have everything in tip top shape. Im so grateful for this crew that stayed later to help me get everything changed out and for a decent price. Their customer service is, bar none, the best in California. Comment: I got 4 MOMO Top Run 300 Rs Tires done for about $490 with alignment and tire insurance.They changed$95 for an alignment,$122.80 for installation,$18.96 tire waste fee,$63.36 for the tire insurance(was added on without my knowledge) and$181.08 for 4 tires (buy 2 get 2 deal)Would of been a 4-5 star review if I was told or asked to add the tire Insurance and they did try to dodge my questions of the price breakdown. The prices online are inconsistent. Those are recent experiences. 6 months ago, I brought a tire to them to get repaired, and they said it was unrepairable. I initially went to a different shop where they were willing to charge me almost 2 thousand dollars on routine maintenance (didnt need most of it) 4 tires, and ball joint replacement. I drove over after having some issues with a very old battery, and they wasted no time getting a new one installed, as well as replacing one of the leads that was badly corroded. My total time spent was no more than an hour, despite my arriving during lunch and having no appointment. I really appreciate their conscientiousness, and will continue to give them my business in the future. I highly recommend them.

Comment: Whereas I appreciated the relatively quick service I had with dealing a flat I had close to store closing, I was not impressed with the nakedly dishonest tactics to sell me a tire.I asked the mechanic to show me the tire as to what punctured it. Which he did, showing a bolt jameed into the center of the thread. He also said, we can patch it. Instead the person in charge still went ahead to sell the tire that I didnt need but was pressed under time constraints to get to an important event. If it were any other circumstance, I would not have allowed this to happen. I never had these nakedly silly selling tactics attempted by Americas tire. That is not even including the fact that the guy tried to start with the top of the line super tire (it is DISCOUNT TIRE mind you) for my Honda Civic which would never need it nor would be advised when replacing just one tire as opposed to all four. Not my first rodeo.I rarely give reviews but I did want to be on record that even if it is an emergency again in the future, I will never go here again. So i called this location to make sure that they had the exact tires that my car needs. The tech that answered the phone was quick to give me the cheap and the bettef option on tires i cud get. I drive hard ie cheap tires r not an option. I told him i had been to one of their TEXAS locations (confusingly enough they call themselves Americas Tire Company). The tech was quick to inform me they are not affiliated with said company. That this location is Doiscount Tire Company of California. Straight forward with no attitude and he told that even though they are not same company im still able to use the same credit card, which is exactly what onwanted to hear (bonus points for the tech). He gave me the earliest available appt time. I got to location, as per otp tech i went in and told behind the counter tech that i an appt. He quickly took care of thingsg asked for my car keys, and told me it would be about 1.5 hoursTheres a costco across the street. I walked over to the food court and ate. 1.25hrs i got called that my car was ready to go. Cant say it enough great service. Will definitely comeback again.

So I started using the DTSC in Hollywood, but that place was kinda chaotic and service took forever. Also, when I went through the bill, I discovered that theyd overcharged me, etc.So I tried this one in Burbank, and I have to say Ive been very happy with it. Tony, the owner, is great. Always up front. Never tries to push things on you that you dont really need, etc. The time before last, he told me Id need tires soon, but Id be good until the next time. I just went in for my 100,000 miles check up, and got a new set. Very reasonable price. My car is 17 years old, and drives (and looks) great.Recently, a large can flew off a truck in front of me on the freeway and shattered my front windshield. Luckily, and thanks to Tony, my car stayed steady and I made it home safely. My car never wavered.This place is out of my way, but for me, its well worth it.

They also told me that I’d be getting a AAA discount, and that it would be applied in store at pickup. I was quoted and out the door price of $630 for installing and balancing balancing for tires and when I originally called I asked if that also included alignment which I was made to understand it too understand it did but was then told and told after tires were installed that it was not included and would be an additional $100. What he told me when I argued this issue was that he said they would CHECK to see if it needed alignment and NOT that it would be done... So part of the labor I was charged was to check the alignment and I was told it needed it for an additional $100 which did not make me happy. I had 2 other places that told me it would include alignment for just around $20 additional which I would have went someplace else if that was the case. Bait and switch situations are very common and its sad that businesses especially in Burbank have employees that do not address specific issues and clarify detailed questions, like this, with their customers more efficiently.

Comment: Very upset with the service I received at the Burbank location. I purchased tires there in 2016 and had a flat in 2021. I went in to see about repair or replacement and was told the tires I bought were 50,000 mile tires and I had gotten 60,000 miles out of them. So I went ahead and had all four replaced at their recommendation. When I went home and looked at my invoice it shows I had purchased tires that were guaranteed for 100,000 miles and that I had gotten 56,000 miles out of them. So I called to inquire about the discrepancies and was told by another agent that the tires I had gotten in 2016 were guaranteed for 70,000 miles and that I could have gotten a discount for that mileage difference but I was given a different discount that was greater and I can only have 1 discount. Comment: This place isn’t honest. They quoted me an air filter over the phone for 28$ and when I got there they said it was 63$. I let it go. I also asked them to fill my tires because my front 2 were flat. (They offer that service for free) they claimed they did it but I had a tire pressure tool with me that I check before going in. It was the same as it was before after they claimed they did it. Never again.... take your money elsewhere where it’s appreciated. Not to mention I spent thousand dollars with them but the simplest thing wasn’t done.

Comment: These guys are fantastic and always incredibly honest. I thought I had a ball bearing issue and went in expecting to drop some change. Turns out a simple tire rotation was all that was needed. No trying to sell me useless repairs. My brakes were squeaking a bit one time and when I took it in they just wiped some dirt off the rotors and sent me on my way said break pads were fine no charge. I will go here for anything they do on my car.

Everyone from Jennifer, to the manager, Tony and Joe the Service Manager, displayed exceptional customer service and professionalism. They were very friendly. Comment: This place is one of those finds where your faith in honest mechanics is restored and you dont feel like a car is always a liability when you have issues. I went in for a tire repair and and oil change and got exactly that. I was worried they would recommend new tires although I didnt need them. The repair included fixing the sensor on my tire monitoring system that was damaged when I used fix a flat that they recommended but didnt pressure me to do (in order to save money). They also replaced a turn signal light bulb free of charge and EVERYTHING was done while I waited. AMAZING. If you are like me and feel your heart sink any time you have an issue with your car because you worry about the repair costs, Discount Tire Center Burbank is a place I highly recommend. Thank you!!

I said I wanted four tires cheapest price. They didnt counter with an upsell or anything they gave me a price for my four tires that I thought was excellent.. To my surprise that price was before the promotion. And what I paid after the promotion was significantly less than the first price quoted. Comment: I’ve been working with this Discount Tire location to replace my car’s tires. I called a few days in advance and made an appointment to come that Saturday. When I arrived, we realized that the tires were the wrong size for my car. This could have been my fault, so I didn’t think too much of it. The staff member told me they’d order the correct size and I made another appointment for the following weekend. When I arrived that day, they had the correct tires but had only ordered two tires instead of four. There wasn’t a paper trail to track the re-order, and I wouldn’t be able to come back until the following weekend. I felt annoyed that it would end up taking three visits over the course of three weeks to get this done. The staff member was apologetic, but firm that they couldn’t provide a discount because there wasn’t a paper trail. They were very kind and replaced the two tires that were there very quickly. I’m going back for the third and hopefully final time next weekend. Overall, their customer service turned a bad incident into a somewhat-ok experience.

Comment: The service was great, the price of the tires was fair. They took care of me right away. The only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is because of the only handprints I had to clean off of the inside handle of the drivers door, the oily handprints on the outside of the drivers door, and the handprints on my steering wheel. But thats only an inconvenience. The new tires and alignment were done extremely well. Maybe since my vehicle is a cargo van, and not a nice looking sports car, they let their guard down a little, but thats my only complaint. Again, the work, and the speed at which they got everything done was amazing! I just might suggest whomever moves the vehicles, might want to wear gloves.Thank you for getting me back on the road so quickly! (And BTW, I will go back to them in the future.)

Comment: I made an appointment for 10am online. I dropped off my car 10 minutes before 10am for brake service. I was told they would look at my car soon and give me a call with an estimate. Nearly 2 hours later I finally got a call with them asking me what was wrong with my car... absurd. I explained the problem in more detail. They said they would look again and give me another call soon. They finally call again to give me an estimate, which was way more than expected but fine, whatever. Ive been more upset by their timeliness and miscommunication. Anyway, I was told that my car would be ready around 1pm. 2:45pm rolls around so I call to ask what the problem is. They say the car will be ready in 15 minutes; by the time I get there. I pay for an uber back from my husbands office after waiting there nearly all day, cancelling any plans I had because ubering all over town is costly. My car is still in pieces so I sit in their freezing waiting room for an explanation. Im told an incorrect part was put on my car and theyre waiting for a new part to be delivered in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later Im told it will be another 10 minutes. Finally around 4pm I get my car back (an hour after I first arrived to pick it up). So Ive essentially wasted 6 hours or more of my day even after making an appointment ahead of time. Im incredibly frustrated and disappointed with the disrespect for my time. I was given a small discount for the wait, but that doesnt do much for me in the face of cancelled meetings and a wasted day. I wont be returning.

Well, that was not my experience... I went there after noticing a nail in my tire, I asked for help in removing the nail in my tire, without even taking a look at the tire, I was told that there would be a charge of $24.95... When I went to pay both registers were tied up so they asked me to wait a few minutes. No prob so I just poked around the show room and I was asked to get the mileage number. As we walked to the car he changed his mind and told me I didnt need to wait any longer and to have a good day. I was so impressed that I went out and got enough empanadas to feed the entire crew. Awesome customer service.

Comment: If you buy tires from them, make sure you do not buy their tire warranty. They give you no documentation and information or anything about whats covered. Then when you do bring it in their going to tell you if you drove on it at all that its not covered. But again since theres no paperwork that tells you if you get a flat tire dont drive on it even if youre in an unsafe spot make sure you change it right where the car sits. If you drive it at all the warranty is void.
