Dolls is a great place to stay and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable as possible.Great owners as we stay here every year for Tip of the Mitt and look forward to staying here and am calling later to book my room again!
Great location on the lake. Fantastic owners, really nice and willing to work with you too! If you plan on visiting Mackinac city or island, its a great place to stay
We were all family and everyone parties..And yes out toilet did leek the whole time was not sweat..I talked to neighbors to us they said we were fine.We were at fire pit.She just is a very picky owner her own husband said told us she just has a lot of anxiety..If you want to have fun without a complaint about what you do this is not the place...Holidays is about family and we made the best of for sure...
No AC. Snakes in our fishing boat. Room full of bugs. Faucet water didnt get hot. Cash only. Doesnt take CC.
Great views of Carp Lake and good service from the staff. Felt welcome and that the staff didnt intrude in on us. Close to area attractions and good rates.

2021-07-21This was my first time visiting this past week! The owners are amazing and so accommodating they allowed my sister in law to rent all the rooms out and have their wedding in the back yard area over looking the beautiful lake! I could not thank them enough for allowing my sister in law and her husband to have their wedding there! It was beautiful and very pleasant peaceful stay!The rooms were clean, no air conditioning but the fans provided helped cool the room down in no time at night! My kids enjoyed still being able to watch their cartoons and and the rooms with kitchens were well supplied!I would recommend this place and hope to return in the future!

2021-05-11Incredible little place to stay close to Mackinaw. Quaint, clean, to the point rooms with beautiful views of Carp Lake. Huge recreational area in the back that leads to the lake. Grills, paddle boats, swing set and a variety of activities for children. My family has been going here for almost 20 years and the family who owns the property have been kind, open, and friendly to us year after year. This place holds a special place in heart!!

2021-07-25My home away from home. From catching minnows and toads to watching beautiful sunsets at the top of the sand hill, I have never been bored here. I came here yearly as a child and made the best memories surfing on the rafts and racing down the sand hill . Now as an adult, I bring my children and watch them make fun memories of their own. I would stay forever if I could! Thanks for the memories, Dolls!

2021-06-25Quiet, Simple amenities on a beautiful lake, excellent fishing, more home convenience then a motel at a better price. Only about 5 miles from Mackinaw City and easy to find.

2021-08-16The woman was very rude and the rooms were very outdated. On the day of check out she pounded on the door at 10:55am as we were getting packing to leave saying check out was at 10 and it was now 11 and we needed to leave but on the wall it says check out is 11am. Wont stay there again.

2021-04-23Me and my failmy went 2 years ago and my brother is yelling at me while recording a podcast (Death by vanilla) and we where reading reviews and this place came on my mind and i remember how awesome it is its at a beautiful spot with friendly hosts 10/10 would stay again xoxo -tim

2019-07-08Very dirty,they said it was redone.Wasnt.Rocky beach,no fishing lake full of seaweed.Room was full of ants ,toilet leaked all over.Kithchen sink leeks under cubard. They said cabin slept 4-6 and when we had 5 he owner was rude like we had to many..Will never go back..False advertisement...yes there were 5 snakes in a boat we were on dock and seen it.and we also talked to our neighbors there were fine with us.They also left because of poor conditions. I have stayed in some pretty bad places but these people are rude and very picky..

2016-06-17My family has been coming here for nearly 30yrs. Never had a bad existence. The roomsv are always clean, linens are brought promptly and the owners are always very helpful and kind.
