Comment: We did the Sunset cruise. It was enjoyable, very calm sea, pretty view. Crew and captain pleasant. Better for a couple or adult group, date night. We went as a family of five - three kids 16-20 yr old who are a little more adventure minded. So it was too chill for them. It’s not sight seeing tour, while there is commentary on the area and what you see, some interesting trivia - it’s not a sight seeing tour. It’s a relaxing boat ride and hour out of the harbor and an hour back with a bar. The boat is crowded, once you pic a seat, you can’t really move about the boat. You don’t need to, a good view from everywhere, you’ll be sitting or standing in one spot for the duration. And a view. The pic are beautiful, I think our kids would have opt for an hour on a jet ski, parasailing or surfing again instead. Date night 4 stars. Family boating 3 stars. Little kids I wouldn’t recommend - it’s gets cold as the sun goes down and if they get tired it could be rough. Pack light, bring a coat. Recommend going to Toma for killer Italian after ($$$$).

Comment: Celebrated My 40th birthday a few weeks ago on the Double Dolphin and we all had a blast! The sunset cruise was a great experience to share with family and friends from out town. The crew was friendly, and accommodating to our needs, I definitely recommend them for a private event.

Comment: Very nice boat, beautiful coastal cruise. We were happy to see at least the pod of dolphins and a few seals. Not much else is happening, but nice time on the water. What I did not appreciate is the other rude passengers that bum rushed the loading area and did not follow the boarding instructions. Waiting at the top of the gate was simply ignored. Of course, we then did not get the prime seats, even though we were some of the first people arriving. Suggestion: don’t follow the rules like everyone else or perhaps the crew can control it.

Comment: We just completed our annual staff holiday party. This was the first year we chartered the Double Dolphin for the sunset and shoreline lights cruise. The holiday music and the awesome catering treats with a host bar had us all singing loudly as we returned favor to the barking sea lions on each bouy. I highly recommend this experience. Bundle up and have fun. It was an evening of beauty and fun. Capt Ken and the lovely hard working Cora made us feel safe and spoiled beyond expectation. They took photos and addressed any needs including providing ginger chews when and if necessary. We will definitely BOOK another sea-adventure this summer and include the children where they will be able to jump into the sea !! Thank you SB sailing !

Comment: Sailing the Riviera of California with a top notch crew. They were attentive and showed hospitality to each person. The beer and wine selection is setup with excellent local products to help the adults unwind. We got lucky and saw a huge pod of dolphins to keep us entertained and a few whales.

Comment: Nice two hour adventure and a surprise for the wife. The two girls who took us out were very nice. The dock person was welcoming. Nice guy. Worth it. Can buy a $50 dollar bottle of wine if you want to feel like an absolute G. They have a bunch of things you can buy on board, like hot chocolate, brews, other wines.. we came from out of town. 45 mins away. A good idea for your girls bday.. trust

Comment: The cruise was absolutely fantastic!! The weather was a little chilly (we cruised in late November) so definitely bring a coat to keep warm.Capt Dana and his crew member were amazing! Friendly, entertaining, polite and helpful with places to venture off to after the cruise. They played a mix of music and the views were outstanding!!A 2 hour cruise was perfect! Not too short or long at all.They have a nice selection of wine and beer on board and a few little snacks to purchase. They do take cards! (Dont forget to tip!)The boat is very spacious with lots of room to move around and they have 2 bathrooms on board.We had the time of our lives on this cruise! I give the Double dolphin and the crew members 5 stars! If you decide to try out the cruise, I promise you wont be disappointed!!

Comment: Best View of Santa Barbara, Impeccable Service, Perfect Length of TripMy vibrant and downright fun experience on the Double Dolphin will be fresh in my memories forever. Spencer and Brandon were our crew members who delivered impeccable service, attentive care, and made our experience wildly enjoyable for just their conversations alone! Mix their great energy and presence with pristine views of the Santa Barbara Harbor and Channel Islands ...and you’ll surely start to understand my enthusiasm for the Double Dolphin sailing cruise! I would recommend purchasing their beverages ( they sell beer and wine! ) as they offer these and wonderful snacks as well that you can buy on board. Also, sailing by the sea lions on the buoy is always fun to watch ( for any age!).My only suggestion is that you try and get to know the Double Dolphin fellas that are sailing your boat and helping you have an enjoyable experience; they have astounding knowledge in marine type fields and truly love what they do! Get to know their story and make plenty of new friends on the boat as well— it’s one hell of an experience to take for such a reasonable price overall. Cheers and enjoy your time there!

Comment: The Double Dolphin is a great time out on the water. We took our crossfit crew and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly at $35/person for a 2 hour cruise. The boat is a giant catamaran with a bathroom and plenty of space for lounging and chatting. The captain and crew are courteous, professional and provide bartending and banter.

Comment: I took an afternoon sail on the Double Dolphin a few years ago with about 10 members of my extended family, and we loved it. Gorgeous place to sail, good crew, and a reasonable price (now $35/person). I keep planning to go back, but havent yet.
