We were connected to Marissa Kresch through word of mouth, and are so thrilled we were. Marissa helped us find a beautiful historic house in a neighborhood we may not have otherwise considered.New to the area, she took us on bike tours to see houses and get the feel for streets, and pointed out great restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. Beyond that, Marissa’s experience in restoring historic homes was key in navigating the many wobbly basements, fire-hazard wiring, and interesting plumbing solutions that old Detroit houses have to offer. Her suggestion to scope the sewer in our inspection period saved us thousands of dollars. I think it is fair to say we will be better homeowners because of working with Marissa.As first time homeowners, Marissa was an amazing resource on the process of buying a home, and helped our house closing stay the course through the many snafus that coronavirus presented. She also was respectful of our health, wore a mask, and followed safety protocols which we especially appreciated.If that is not enough, Marissa is a kind, genuine human and the kind of person you want on your team. Purchasing a home means you’ll spend a lot of time with your real estate agent, and we were privileged to spend so much time with Marissa.
Larry and his team are total professionals! They went above and beyond to clean up and list my property and most importantly get it SOLD. I consider they are the best realtor in Detroit. I have had contacts with other realtors or property managers in the past but I think nobody in Detroit sell housrs better than them especially when you need additional solutions to cover some issues. I have sold 3 properties with them.

With businesses like this one that I find on google maps, when I look at the reviews and see only 5 stars for every review, at first Im sceptical. Are they really that good? Then you talk with them or work with them and realize right off the bat, yep. For sure. They earned all those stars.In particular, the few times I spoke with Alisha, it reminded me of those better professors I had in college, who were more articulate than others, and patient with all the students questions. She totally put me into position to make an informed decision, with an otherwise confusing and intimidating situation.

Im a seller from Taiwan. I highly recommend Downtown Realty and Larry Else, they have received many Chinese clients and are very patient with them, although my English isnt very good, I can communicate with them using the translation site. The English above is also translated, haha.Their service was excellent, even though covid-19 was a disaster, they did the renovation and sale very efficiently, not only they charge a reasonable fee, but I was very satisfied with the sale price and the whole process.I am a seller from Taiwan. I highly recommend Downtown Realty and Larry Else. They have received many Chinese customers, and they are very patient in communication. Coming form a place of total oblivion, Sa’ad helped me understand a great deal. He was super friendly, receptive and informative! 2021-10-20Larry is a real estate agent in a million. If you can sell a property with a sitting tenant for an overseas client in the middle of a Covid pandemic, you must be a bit exceptional. This, Larry has just done. I am a UK resident with no knowledge of the US property market. Larry unraveled the seemingly impossible, providing outstanding help & advice throughout. This included liaising with the tenant, providing necessary referrals, guiding me through unfamiliar paperwork & overseeing transfer of the sale funds.The entire process was conducted by email, where Larrys response time was virtually instantaneous.The sale would not have been successful without Larrys outstanding expertise & ability to think outside the box.A real estate agent and more: I couldnt rate Larry more highly.

They are fair and no-nonsense minded with excellent customer service. I was mainly in contact with Larry and Alisha, and both are highly professional and very helpful.
