The prices can be a bit steep, but they have an excellent selection of clothes. The salespeople are very helpful with good suggestions and they are also very nice too. The salespeople at this location also dont charge you for shipping for orders sent to the store (the Southfield store does).

I thought they had a very limited selection depending upon your size. The sales person was extremely rude which maybe because they were the only person in the store. I was not satisfied I will probably not go back there again.

Great staff, good service and a nice selection. I often shop at this location more than the one closer to my home, just because of the selection of items in stock. I almost never had to order and wait for something to come in.

The Vist was great! From the moment I walked in customer service was over and beyond quality Im use to going into clothing stores. Its alot of down or up time in retail so I understand the lax mood at times in stores but here wasnt the case. Vibrant, helpful, and intuitive to say the least, even with other people in the store I felt like I was the only customer. They had great clothes selection. It was priced just as a macys would be but there were so many deals $5 off this shurt $10 off these pants pricing was better. This is a very neat place! It was My 1st time but Ill be back surly.
Customer service is great. Dressing rooms are always clean considering all of the people who come in there. Clothes are good quality. Shirts dont shrink as quickly as other places and colors dont fade.The negatives overshadow the positive though. There are probably 4 or 5 brand at the store. If theres more they are dominated by the four or five major ones. Prices are ridiculously high. I saw a summer shirt mind you its winter for $150. Seasonality doesnt play a role here. Socks were $30. Clearance items dont fare much better. They have the tiers that determine how much to take off. I saw a shirt for $40 but on clearance it would have been $32. Your best bet is to go with the 2 for deals. Unfortunately these deals dont apply to polo or some major brands instead it appears on the harbor bay brands. You can get two shirts for $50.If your big and tall, options are limited so DXL has a market. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Sign up for their rewards plans and coupons during your birthday and Christmas.
While I do usually have a hard time finding clothes in my size, when I do, they dont cost three times the price for a simple t shirt. Ive been to Walmart and picked up the same Graphic Tees for $5-10, sure they can be harder to find but man. And the workers are so in your face.

2021-12-10The clerks in the store were VERY helpful. They asked what I was looking for. I told them and they not only walked me to the area, they pulled the items m s from the rack and I was in and out of there. No more than 15 minutes. I was very impressed with the level of service I received.

2021-03-27It’s a nice looking store, but due to the current situation (I suspect) there was only one employee on duty at the time. Since it was my first time in the store, I struggled to find what I was looking for with the lack of help and it extended my time in the store. Once I had my items selected, the very distracted employee over-rang my items. Due to the abominable prices, I didn’t catch it till I was actually looking at the receipt whilst walking out the door. I was able to rectify the situation, but strangely enough, the employee completed the ‘reason for return’ as ‘customer did not like item’. Not a big deal, but it irked me that she laid the mistake at my feet.

2021-11-10Not an overabundance of help in the store , Im assuming short staffed like every other business,... but I did get enough help and assistance to get what I came in for in addition to a little more than intended... I have shopped at DXL in several locations, as far away as Phoenix, and ALWAYS come away happy with customer service and products

2021-03-13To be honest, i only saw the window while waiting for a haircut. they had a scarf that looked very much like doctor whos. the salesperson was able to get permission and a discount for it.other than that, i know nothing about the store, but it seems like a good mens clothing establishment

2021-05-04Ive shopped at DXL numerous times and always had awesome experience until now. Walked in just after they opened and the employee was somewhere in store and I had to look for her. I asked her for some assistance but she acted like I was imposing on her. My husband and I found what we needed. As checking out all she complained about was how she has to work at the hospital and then at store 1 day a week. Maybe you should just find someone that wants her 1 day to work.

2019-05-15This was a really excellent visit. Im in the process of losing weight and had made the trip from Canada to buy smaller sized clothes. What made the experience exceptional was the stores willingness to allow the return of larger size never-used clothing that had been purchased more than two years prior! The tags were still on the merchandise, but still, I was pleasantly surprised they allowed the full value as a refund. Naomi, the clerk I dealt with, was very pleasant and helpful.

2020-02-25Went in looking for a specific item, in a specific color foe my father. They didnt have it bit the lady was very friendly and helpful. Offered to order it for me but I sisnt have time for that. I was amazed at the selection available there from business wear to sports jerseys. I will definitely be shopping there again.
