Comment: Ill hit on a few points of why i think its a great school, i cant compare to other schools, but i will say i went in with zero knowledge and walk out with a license and the knowledge of trucking.1. It works around your schedule (7am-8pm. There is no set time or day youve to be there. Just show up and pick up on what you need to learn.2. If theres only a few other students there, you can practice your skills til your heart content. Ask tips from each instructor, They are there to help you succeed.3. There are a few lots to practice at, so make sure to ask where it at, itll help you manage your time and use it a lot better.4. If youre looking to gain your license in a few days, it is possible. But thatll be on your learning curves. Few students had gained their license in a week.5. You wont have to be killed by death by powerpoint. Youll gain a booklet of the knowledge you need to learn. That knowledge can be learned at any given time youll have in your daily lives, pop it open, and read it.Jason is an instructor that Youll meet 2 days prior before your test at dmv. Hell ask if you need to go over any skills, so make sure to gain those last set of knowledge from him.Thang was another great instructor, I thought i was struck in a set schedule for 5pm-8pm til i met him. Thang explained a bit more about how the school actually was, and i got to learn more from him after and used the school 100% how it was intended to be used.

Comment: Ali, the owner of Easy Trucking School. I found him to be personable, professional, and a take care of business kind of guy. What is his business?His business is giving you the experience you need to get passed the DMV part of you journey in the trucking industry. I called 4 schools in the Sacramento area, then personally made a visit to each one before choosing to go with Easy Trucking. Their pricing was competitive and the instructors were patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Members of the staff were fluent in 8 different languages. Easy Trucking handled all the paperwork and scheduling with the DMV. The process was efficient and gave students the ability to move at their own pace. Which is helpful with a busy work and family schedule. I passed my first try. My wife will be going for her CDL in 2025 so we can drive together. Comment: This is by far the best school to get your class B and A license, Ali is the best, the instructors are all amazing and always willing to help with any concern you may have and more than happy to teach you what you need to know to get ahead. The difference between this school and others like 160 or western pacific is that Ali actually cares about your success. Dont waste your time with any other school, if you want real success and real knowledge then this is where you should go. I recommend 100%. If I could I would rate 10 stars.

Comment: This is the most affordable trucking school in Sacramento. They will teach how to do the pre-trip, backing portions and road test. If you really want to pass you must study ten times more than you expect which includes watching youtube videos on how to pass your test, working with other students to practice pretrip/airbrakes and etc.I came to this school a year ago and every teacher and student were helpful and nice. Some may shout but if your willing to listen you will pass. Also a year ago I came to this school and students that passed came back and gave food to other students.Definitely recommend going to this CDL school!

Just as you may be doing now, I did my due diligence & looked over all the positive reviews that former students had. Eventually I made the 3 hour drive up there & spoke with him in person regarding the whole process & about his program. After discussing everything & receiving a tour, I signed myself up.As a former student, I can attest that the whole experience & training here are beyond great. From his generous hospitality to his great instructors, Ali provides YOU the student with all the tools needed for you to obtain your license. Sometimes in life we can encounter individuals or business organizations that can care less about providing a great service & only care about taking our money BUT that is far from being the case here. Comment: I never attended this school. However, I did make an attempt in considering attending there. Did not leave with a good impression. First of all, like many other low reviews the yard is extremely small and the trucks are very old looking. This school seems to be family owned that have younger relatives or so working the office. They’re friendly, just not professional in doing things in a professional manner. And mainly because they do not know how to be. When someone walks into the office you acknowledge and then say I’ll be with you in a few seconds/minutes or so Sir/Bro if you’re busy at the time whether on the phone or not. And then at some point you either put your conversation hold if on the phone or say I have someone in the office let me call you back. May I help you? You do not just acknowledge and then sit there behind the desk and ignore the person and continue conversating like he or she not there. That’s rude!!!!!!! I came there to touring the school yard and meet some if not all if the instructors. The one instructor I met was kind of standoffish. I just did get a good or great vibe with that school. I’m not saying they won’t teach you right. They probably will. But they just doesn’t seem to be structured properly nor professional. That’s a Big no no for me! Maybe your experience will be better!

I can almost certainly guarantee he will work with you in achieving your career goals regardless of any obstacles or challenges you may have. Also for those that have English as a second language they have multiple instructors fluent in multiple Languages. For those interested give them a call or show up. Comment: I have to admit I was skeptical when I first arrived at Easy Truck School. I am a experienced commercial truck driver with over 250k miles logged. I let my cdl go a few years back and my new job requires me to get my CDL so I came here. The instructors are very knowledgeable, easy to work with and genuinely want you to leave here with the skills necessary to succeed as a commercial driver. The owner Ali is a real stand up guy. He stayed late with me the night before my test to make sure I was totally prepared and confident I would ace the test. The next day I went to the DMV and had no problem at all passing my test. Comment: I was recommended to this business by several people. I needed a Class A for my truck and horse trailer. I contacted Ali to rent a truck for my exam. He suggested I come in and drive the truck get familiar with it and give me some pointers and instructions to make sure I passed. When I arrived he greeted me himself, explained the whole program and suggested I go to the Stockton facility. In Stockton I met Najim and Pedro who showed me proper backing techniques, gave me study material and demonstrated the pre-trip and brake inspection. After that I was left on my own to practice the maneuvers. IMO that was a Pro. Not having an instructor hovering over me constantly. Some people may see that as a Con, but I didnt need hand holding, and appreciated the fact I could come and go as I pleased, use whatever truck was available, and figure it out on my own.I passed my exam the first try. I do highly recommend this school over others, having talked with many friends that have used other schools.

I started my trucking training at another location where I wasn’t getting the training I deserved or needed, once I transferred to Easy Truck School & CDL Training things became so much easier. From the initial phone call with the owner, Ali, to meeting him in person to discuss the process he uses to train students to successfully pass the DMW test I was confident this was the place to get me to the finish line, to get my Class A CDL. Ali is on site whereas other school have absentee owners.Ali and his staff, Justin (my fab trainer), Larry (DMV Yard Do, he is the expert) Jeff, Malik, and Nosh from the front office. Follow the leson plan and put in the time and it is as close as it comes to a garenteed pass at the DMV on test day. There is no shortage of opportunity for you the student to learn hands on, how to operate the truck you will be testing in as well as learning the parts. Comment: This company is a money scam and that’s all they care about. You aren’t taught by instructors whatsoever, you completely teach yourself. I went into it thinking I would learn how to safely operate a truck and learn a lot about the industry. Instead I payed almost $4,000 to teach myself. The communication is awful. Way to many students at one time to get any drive time in, one truck to practice your pretrip on with people crowded around it. Other students starting the truck while others are inspecting the engine compartment. Very unsafe environment, rude and terrible communication from the staff with the exception of Jeff and Larry. Jeff and Larry are very helpful and actually care about helping people improve. Ali (the owner) is only in it for the money, once he has your money he could care less about you. If you want to learn how to drive a commercial vehicle safely and feel like it’s worth your time and money, pick a different school. Stay away from this school.

I just passed my Class A with no restrictions, which means I am licensed to drive an automatic or manual. I owe this in no small part to Ali! (the owner) At the last minute I wanted to change to automatic because I was insecure about my ability to drive a stick. Ali took the time to take me out on the road, and then encouraged me to be confident. Ali is the real deal! He’s the kind of guy you want to be around! I went to a different school (Abylex) and they were so disorganized and unprofessional, they were not able to get me a DMV exam for 2 months past the time i was ready. So i called easy trucking and he had a truck and DMV appointment ready for me within 14-15 days. His guys met me about 2 hours before the appointment ran through a pretrip inspection and took me on a drive showing me tips along the route the DMV would ask me to drive.I def recommend these guys. When i was looking for schools I went by reviews but somehow didn’t see these guys. Comment: During the pandemic, a lot of people are out of work and looking for jobs. A recent former student who successfully completed this program was treated unethically by Ali.The student was currently out of a job due to the Covid shutdown. The student paid and trained at this school during the shutdown. After the training, he applied for a company who requested a letter of recommendation from this school. Ali told him to pay him $100 for the letter. The student stated that he didnt have any money and needed this to get employed. The student needed to get back to work as soon as possible to provide for his family. Ali stated that he since had to take time out to type it, he stood firm on $100!! He didnt care about the student had no income and told him to bring a $100 bill. This is outrageous especially since the student PAID to go to this training school.After calling FIVE different trucking schools, all of them stated this was not a standard practice to charge for a letter of recommendation. They dont charge for it. Ali took advantage of a student who he thought was desperate to get the letter for employment. Luckily, after the employer heard of this, the student was hired without the letter. This is despicable and it should be reported. This matter will be further investigated to see if other students have been treated this way.BEWARE of this school, ask for what you need during the training so that you will be told of extra costs. I have never heard of a training school charging for a letter of recommendation, especially for $100!!Just know that NOT ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS with businesses are legit. Do further research before doing any business with anyone.

Stephanie will take care of you paperwork and DMV appointment, Ms. Collins will work with you on your pre-trip and airbrakes, Jeff will teach you skills, John and Antuane will take you on the road, Ali will go over everything you need to to pass your exam, Larry will be with you on your exam day. They are a great team! I am very thankful for their help and kindness! You just have to follow their instructions and you will succeed. One more thing I loved about Easy Truck School is flexibility, Ali (owner) allows his students to practice more, (hours from 8AM to 5 PM) sometimes we use to practice till 7PM, and if you feel that you still need to work on something Ali will take care of you. Ali, Stephanie, and Ali’s nephew are very friendly and cool to work with- (and Stephanie is pretty cute too, so that’s a plus!)The trucks are really easy to learn to drive with- (No Double Clutching!!) Jeff is the skills guy in the paved yard, and he’s the man!Between Jeff, the gravel yard where you can practice your skills on the manual transmission, and the paved yard which has the automatic truck- I missed ZERO points on my DMV skills exam!! 12 outta 12 baby!!If I had to come up with anything that’s NOT positive here, I would only say that sometimes there can be a lot of students training at one time, so make sure you speak up if you feel like you need more practice on something before your test date.BUT, if you do that, they WILL make sure you get what you need. I was feeling a little unsure about my “on the road” driving experience, so they made sure I got more time practicing before I went for my test. Comment: This guy made it possible. Good instructors, above average I would say. Trucks are easy to drive. 6 speeds. I went to two schools, pacific truck school and here. I learned things here that I didn’t learn over there. I took my DMV test after failing once and I passed. Reason why I came here is because the other school said a month out for DMV retest but that’s a lie. I called Ali, said to me I can get you in, in 2 weeks. I took it and ran out with it. I paid to rent the truck and 2 hours of instruction to familiarize myself with a different truck that what I was accustomed. 2 hours of learning was $260 plus $295 to rent the truck for the test. Well spent money. If you have experience and need a truck to rent and it’s relative cheap compared to some schools that ask for almost $6K for a month of instruction. Thanks bro for taking my money and didn’t hesitate to teach me and make me get this license I been wanting to get.

Comment: My husband, Shawne attended this school for 2 weeks and passed on his 1st try on his second permit! He had ALL of his points left at the end of the test. Literally passed with flying colors!!! He showed up everyday and put the work in and it paid off.I wish we would have went to Ali earlier because we wasted a few racks going elsewhere for a few hrs of training because it wasn’t enough and didn’t prepare him for his tests. Comment: Reading some of these one star reviews made me realize how incompetent some people are. Never got anything but awesome service from ali and his associates. I gave ali a call a few weeks back to schedule 4 hrs behind the wheel 1 on 1 training with one of his instructors and a dmv skills test for that same day. Having no experience with any kind of big rig driving and just a little bit of experience with backing up a trailer I was able to pass the first time with flying colors. If some of the guys on here are saying they took alis trucking school and werent able to drive a manual transmission or pass the cdl skills test its only because they didnt put in enough effort to learn all the information and reading materials they were offered. Comment: Ali has quite the operation going at Easy Truck. I paid for his unlimited program to make sure I could fit training into my work schedule. I looked at other schools and while Ali had almost the best price in the area he sold me because I just couldn’t help but like him. As likable as he is, he calls it like he sees it. His program will give you the tools and insight you need to pass, but it isn’t designed for walking you through everything and holding your hand. If you’re not able to self motivate and discipline your use of time Ali will still get you to pass your test, but you’re going to be paying for the retests. Comment: I wanted to get my CDL A and decided to enrolled for the guaranteed course($1800.00) after checking trucking schools in the area.I think its very reasonable price, and you will get your commercial license as long as you put time and determination because Easy A trucking school have the resources and the formula to make it happened.The yard to practice skills is very similar at the one on DMV sac.Yes sometimes you dont get a lot of driving time because the amount of the students but there are still plenty things to do when your not driving like practicing your all Pre-trip inspection, Air brake, in cabin etc.If your here from the time they open until the time they close then youll get a lot of driving time.I like the culture, and students are very diverse You can learn/progress on your on phase, a judge free environment.And Instructors are very professional and knowledgeable and yes theyll push you until you get it.Ali and his crew runs the school very well.Ill absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Comment: Let me tell you, if you want to learn exactly what the DMV is asking you to learn, nothing less, without filling your head with useless info and be an A student AND pass from the first time. Come to this school, the instructors are very informatie, patient and will motivate you to pass, they truly care about your progress and your success after you graduate the program. I got my license ahead of time in 7 days before my 2 weeks were up. Ali the school director pulled me aside and told me that Im ready and I was! If you are ready for success and be out in the real world and make money and use the school reputation to get a high paying job, you know what to do, if not, take your sweet time and money with another less qualified school.Decision is yours.

Comment: I just passed the Class A CDL test after spending three days at the school. As a result I highly recommend Easy Truck Rental for CDL as the place to go to learn how to get a CDL. Comment: I was a nervous wreck trying to get my CDL. Even during the training itself with Ali. But I got so confident in his methods, I was ready to test earlier than expected. Its a very positive and relaxed environment in his class. As long as youre honest with yourself, and put in the effort, this is a sure guarantee you wont regret. Comment: I just got my cdl A. It was very easy with Easy Truck Rental school ;) Ali and his employees are very patient. They explain everything to you as many times as you need. This school is very friendly for people at all ages and for those whose English is a second language as well. You can practice with your fellows until you become a teacher for others. They are constantly tracking all West Sacramento DMV requirements so you wont get surprised at your test. When they teach you they dont count hours you spend at yard learning so when you finish your course you know that you practiced everything much enough. Comment: I was a little skeptical coming to this school, since it was not a big name or popular one, but boy did they prove my skepticism was misplaced. At first I called and talked with Ali, about coming to his school. He gave me all the info I asked for and shared so much more I didnt even know, then he gave me my pricing options. I was skeptical, so after I talked I said Id call him back in a few days or so. Then of course I called all his competitors and some were more expensive and some less expensive and for some reason they did not share as much info as Ali did at Easy CDL. Still skeptical, but running out of time I took a chance and gave him the deposit to start the program.After making the decision to join his team at Easy CDL I understood that I made the right choice. After the initial deposit and even before his school training began, he sent me material to start studying. Having his videos and handouts early on were perfect because I hate being rushed when trying to learn something new or even just re-learning. He made the DMV appointment for me and said come in when ever you want because I had the unlimited training program. Im really, really, really glad I got that option because once I began practicing I was so overwhelmed with how much I sucked behind the wheel and the only thing that saved me was that plan. It would have been far too expensive paying by the hour or certain time slots that were offered at other schools. I needed that safety assurance that the unlimited plan gave me to come in and keep practicing behind the wheel of the trucks he had available.Obviously, I had to put the time to study and practice on my own, but he was somehow always available to give you one on one attention and guidance. Ali is really knowledgeable about the industry and well connected not just a small business. As you learn about what you need to pass the DMV exam you may learn about his time in the police force, or perhaps as an OTR trucker, or even as tow truck company operator. He provides you with a wealth of information before, during, and after you graduate and pass your exam.Oh ya, I almost forgot, I passed on the first attempt at the DMV just like everyone else did except for that one guy that came in last minute the day before his exam to learn everything.Ill be back to rent his bus for the passenger endorsement soon.
