What a pleasant surprise! I tried using this service 9 yrs ago . It was nothing but a hassle. My son wanted to try again so...we were able to schedule a ride with one day notice. Our π s were on time and the drivers were great. The trips only took about 10 mins. longer than driving myself. Will do more of these ! Such a huge improvement.

This transportation system is a MAJOR negative economic problem that needs to be brought/addressed up at an Eaton County, Michigan council board meeting. The dispatchers are extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, and rude. Their system is extremely inconsistent, never makes sense, and is VERY unreliable, which prevents me from proper planning, as well as making my income. There is no protocol with this system, as these extremely unprofessional, inappropriate dispatchers are constantly changing the rules of where they go within Eaton County, and whether or not they pick up/drop off in Lansing, Michigan. Judging by the approximate amount of customers/riders this bus system has daily, and their approximate income made, there is literally no excuse that they wouldnt have a proper website, online network to have updated information regarding scheduling that people can frequently check. The fact that people (these dispatchers) are literally being employed, and making an income off of causing so many people to LOSE money, and severely harm their economic/job security and scheduling, is absolutely unacceptable, and MUST be addressed. I will say, however, the saving grace with Eatrans Busses, are they have impeccably proper, and professional, polite, and friendly drivers. Its a shame that these professional drivers are being over-shadowed by the inappropriate behaviors, and abusive behaviors or the dispatchers answering the phones at this Eatran. This... again, is unacceptable.

A great service, so long as you remember that its not a cab service! They cannot drop everything & run right to you to give rides on your demand, rides are scheduled & sometimes you have to go out of your way a little bit, to get where you need to be! A super worthwhile asset to our county!!

My wife tried to call to schedule a ride, the lady answered and said thank you for calling E-Tran then paused, so my wife started to ask about scheduling a ride, and the lady very loudly yelled HOLD PLEASE and for the rest of the call was so rude to her. My wife told me that she has never had anyone that wasnt family speak to her so rudely before. This is unacceptable for a public service to treat their customers in such a way.

Drivers are okay I guess, but I dont like the calling staff too much. Their phone lines are always busy, so its practically impossible to schedule a ride sometimes and when you do finally get through, theyll have you on hold for a good 5-10 mins exact..

I would normally give 3 stars.I am on hold RIGHT NOW with Eatran and have been on hold for over 45 minutes.A couple weeks ago, I was told that there wasnt a coach available to pick me up at my house the next morning.I live just outside Grand Ledge in Delta Twp and had to find a way to meet the coach at Meijer in Grand Ledge.This has NEVER happened in the last 15 years that I have been riding Eatran.I am still on hold...................been an hour now.Unacceptable.

They need more costumer representatives because they havent been answering my calls yesterday I called 4 times on the 4th time and when I was about to get the times for Fridays pick up rides this lady hangs the phone up on me which I never had a problem until now and I called two Today I was waiting for like 45 minutes which is ridiculous and Im going to keep trying and trying until they finally answer there darn phones

Very rude customer serivce people answering phones. Even supervisor was rude after i asked to speak to them. Looking to set ride up for after school. Called in may for information was told to call back once i knew for sure. Then today was Told needed to file out application but those were do in july and routs are already done. School of choice applicates dont find out if they are expected till august.

My experence with.Eatran. Today while waiting for the bus, I didnt know it was waiting, evidently the driver didnt wait long, first they came the back way of meijers, I looked for them to come via the front. I was waiting at the front meijers at the west door. I was considered a no show, so the next driver wanted to charge me double, I refused at first,but decided to pay, only I didnt have correct change. It seem to me the driver delighted in telling me I couldnt ride. Eatran seems to have the most impolite drivers, some are lazy. and some just dontnt care. I think I will ride cata for .60 cent. Im sorry I voted for the tax increase,but it will come again.

Difficult to schedule reoccurring rides for elders. Cannot get consistent and timely regular rides. Often cannot get through on phone in morning.
