It was our first time using Ed Rinke for our car purchases/leases . We had the pleasure of having Harry Payne as our sales professional. He was FANTASTIC! He made the deal quick , easy, and efficient. He worked with us gave us an incredible deal. We got 2 cars in 1 week and are currently working on a 3rd ! We will refer everyone we know to him. Give that man a raise, he’s outstanding!
All of tire air inlet caps were loose after checking air pressure. interior surfaces, especially steering wheel and door handles, were oily and dirty (took some time to clean it). hope engine oil level is right (will check it later on today). the cost, $50 just for oil/filter change, is competitive among dealerships. the waiting room area is clean and good. employees behave professionally and polite. a reasonably quick service. overall, not bad experience.
This was my 3rd lease using Ed Rinke. Ive worked with Ed Serwach 2 out of the 3 leases and hes always been very helpful! No fluff, straight to the point when it comes to the available options. My experience with ordering my Blazer RS went smoothly. The vehicle was ready for pick up earlier than expected and Ed was on top off all communications. Paperwork that could be completed prior to me arriving was completed making my experience at the dealership a little easier. No long wait time and everything ran smoothly. Great place to get great vehicles at the best prices.
Ed Rinke on Vandyke has the worst customer service Ive encountered in a long time. I inquired about some bolts that they said they had in stock but then when I get there they said they had to order it, Said it two days to get these parts in. My customer didnt want to wait so I came back for a refund 3 times it took them to tell me that they didnt have my money yet they counted the register in front of me. The purchase was a mere $98 and the Rude Lady Debra counted $250 in her drawer and told me and I quote Im not giving you my money and I wont have change, not all my singles. Mind you I can see the register and she had a sufficient amount to refund if needed. She was just out right Rude. I ask for a supervisor and the supervisor offered me a check, but why would I even except a check if I paid Cash and its an inconvenience for me and its the holiday Weekend. Mind you this is the 3rd time I tried to get a refund of $98. I will never support this particular establishment as long as the certain individuals remain in that service department. From the cashier Debra to her Supervisor who really wouldnt even get out of her seat to address the issue, she just sat there on her phone. Very unprofessional and this isnt the first time Ive had and issue there and heard of said ones. Not even goin to throw Race in the mix but if you enter the department you get my drift. Ill end this saying if getting parts purchased and getting refunded for any reason is an issue I wont do business here again. #BadBusinessForsure
Sue Haji was great to work with and really went above and beyond to secure my desired car and ensured top quality. I told her what I wanted and she delivered more than what I expected. Sue made the entire process easy and fast. It was a pleasure working with her and I would highly recommend her for your future car purchases. Thank you, Sue!!!!
It was a great experience for me working with Paul Tiska at Ed Rinke Chevrolet. Paul went above and beyond to get the vehicle that was affordable for me which ended up being the Trailblazer that I was originally interested in! I would recommend Paul to all my family members and friends! And he definitely will have my business for the next leased/purchased vehicle!
Wow! Just unbelievable we made an appointment to have an estimate done on our suspension system, we explained what we needed done and everything we wanted to be inspected and taken care of. We make time in our busy schedule and trust me with five kids its plenty busy! And then when we get there they tell us Oh we dont want nothing to do with the suspension system! WAIT,WHAT! Like, hold up a second are you kidding me! You dont want money! You dont even want to look to see what needs to be done! Im not asking you to fix it! Im asking you for an estimate on what needs to be done! Im completely flabbergasted! I just dont get it! If you didnt want anything to do with suspension systems why did you take the appointment, and second your a dealership with a full service center; are you not supposed to be able to fix cars, and give estimates on repairs or damages to cars? Its sad, but you lost a loyal customer today!
Jimmy and Loren worked through all of the details in setting up my first New Truck Purchase. While I was unsure of the necessary items and materials needed to complete the process, Jimmy was thorough and knocked it out of the park on support and quick responses to questions. Loren was thorough with the warranty and finance side and it was extremely appreciated as I start the journey with a new vehicle I intend to have for the better half of the next 10 years.
The entire staff was courteous and attentive. Everyone was very professional. The repaired my car soon than I expected. My car looked brand new when I picked it up. I love the idea that they will pick you up & drive you home when dropping your car off for service. If this dealership sold Cadillacs, I’d definitely purchase one from them.
Shawn (Sean?) in the body shop was more than helpful and got me in and out of there within an hour for my passenger side mirror. Whatever you guys are paying him, its not enough. He was honestly the most helpful person Ive had at Ed Rinke and Ive been coming here for years.
Completely unsatisfied. Service desk employee very unprofessional on her cell phone. She seen me approach the service and She went around the corner to continue her conversation. did not get greeted by anyone as I stood there waiting for assistance, then she seen that I continued to stand there she stated that if I was there to pick up my car to go to the cashier. After paying for my vehicle I stood back by the desk and I was informed not to stand there , that my car would be brought to the front.Once in my vehicle I noticed that my vehicle did not have a new oil change sticker so I went back in to the desk where there I waited for a few minutes before I was able to wave down one of the employees in a black shirt ( there were 4) inside the glass. I informed him that I needed a new oil change sticker and he rolled his eyes.I did call back and ask to speak to a manager and he informed me that they are short staffed and super busy. We pass 3 other chevy dealership to get to Ed Rinke, I go there because that is where I purchased my vehicle. Guess I need to start looking for another dealership to service my vehicle if they are so short staffed and inconvenienced.
The worst service I have ever received. I was informed twice that my vehicle had a warranty and that my rental car would be covered. They kept my car for 4 days and then called me to inform me my vehicle would not be covered under a warranty they said I had and that if I wanted it looked at I would have to pay for that and still pay for my rental for the days I had it. They close at 6pm and they called me at 2 pm super late in the day no time to make any arrangements for the inconvenience no apology nothing to help fix the situation.
Jennifer Schmelzle was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She made this process easy for me and answered all of my questions. I will absolutely come back to see her again. As a woman I felt comfortable walking into the showroom to see Jennifer and was talked to with respect and I really appreciate that.
Hands down the best Chevy dealership. From Service to the sales staff, the customer service is second to none. Nick Koszewski is easy to work with. No hassles with Nick and he is very patient with professional. Irving is the hardest working man at the dealership. He always have the cars looking fantastic.
If I could give it zero stars I would. Save yourself the trip and find somewhere else to take your car. They will price gorge you, they are very misleading and the manager should not be in customer service. The manager does not care about your concerns nor does anything to make things right.FYI The diagnosis for your vehicle does not go toward the cost of repairs like the service representatives say. It is in addition to the cost of services. Never take your vehicle to this Chevrolet dealership! Save yourself the stress, time, and money.
I am very displeased with this place, and definitely over the attitude and disrespect that you get from these employees.! I have been coming here for a year getting just a simple oil change, and nothing has changed. This will be my last time doing service here at this location for real! The service guy that I had this time was Alan Walters- he asked me if I were doing tire rotation today and I responded no I am not only because I’m going to get new tires after this. He immediately got an attitude and said well okay! Just a waste of your money. So I asked him if it was I included and he said well no it’s 48 something for oil change and 56 with tire rotation, but anyways it will just be a waste of your six bucks. Like huh.?? How is it a waste of my six bucks when I’m not even spending it ? Make it make sense sir.! Then as we approached the counter I wanted to let him know that when the service people do the inspection they will notice a slow leak in two of my tires and that’s why I’m getting new ones today, he responded sarcastically Ok Ok. Like he didn’t even care what I was telling him. The last time I came here I was given attitude from Tina Malnar because I chose not to get my work done there or buy tires from them. She got mad because I told her that I wasn’t paying 700 dollars for 4 tires. And I was not paying over 500 just to have a caliber and brakes fixed. I have my own personal mechanic and will pay more less than that. Moral of the story when you come in for a simple oil change and you need other things done at the time they will get upset and give you an attitude and start talking smart to you because you choose to do your services done somewhere else. I’m not obligated to get my services done here THANK YOU VERY MUCH .! I will not be coming here anymore.
Well, the price of the repair was higher than aftermarket repair facilities. The OEM part was expensive, over $500 a part and I needed two hubs. With that being said, Tina did a nice job of explaining the repair and the vehicle sounds great and no noise. She even called to see how the vehicle experience was after I drove home.
Honestly the best experience Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle. Lou text me the breakdown and I drove off my next available afternoon.Great price. Fast. Efficient. Paperwork all pre-drawn up, everything done and complete before I came that afternoon. Unbelievable. Still shaking my head. Lou is gem! Many Thanks!
Extremely unhappy with the the service attendant upon arrival. She was very rude and inconsiderate. Was very unhelpful and felt as I was being barked at. I was told on the phone I could be there at 6:30am and did not need an appointment. It was clearly failed to tel me that techs do not arrive until 7 or 7:30 depending on the day. The attendant on site when I arrived told me that if I were to leave I would not be guaranteed to take priority. The positive out of the situation is that my vehicle was taken back as soon as a tech arrive but because of the instance and customer service received upon arrival I will not return.
I worked with Brink Cawley at Ed Rinke to purchase a Buick Envision Anvenir which is a amazing car. Brink was professional and a amazing salesman to work with. I know I will be working with him again in the future (possibly to buy a new 2023 Corvette) .The rest of the staff at Ed Rinke was also amazing to work with and extremely helpful. I appreciate the patience Brink had with my wife and I since, we kept going back and forth on a couple different cars. Brink stuck with us and for that I have to give him the praise he deserves.
Everyone was friendly and the procedure took very little time. I did ask the service advisor to use the rainX bottle, which I left on the passenger seat for the tech pour on my windshield washer receptacle, yet it was not done or written on the RO. Other than that, excellent service
I am 30 year Ford owner and was hesitant about even walking into the Chevy dealer. I sent an email requesting pricing on a Silverado. Within minutes I received a call from Stephon Lester and he had several options and invited me in to test drive the truck Within an hour I was the proud owner of a new truck. He made this an enjoyable experience and I will be back because his professionalism and down to earth attitude. Great guy and salesman. Thank you!
Terrible service. Reached out and spoke to Brink regarding leases. We discussed several potential options and he was going to call back later that day or next day to discuss - never heard back. I tried reaching out multiple times but was unable to get in touch with him or get a call back. I received a voicemail over a week later that he was returning my call and he believes I wanted to discuss a sale they have going on - apparently no recollection of our conversation. Taking my business elsewhere.
Ive been coming to Ed Rinke for years and every time my experience has been great. My last 4 cars have been with Ed Rinke, I would not go anywhere else, as well as my family. My sales person has always been Monika Jarbo. I am always beyond satisfied with her service and my overall experience. She is an expert at her job and She always makes her clients needs a priority. I came in on a Thursday to trade in my 2021 Camaro LT1 for a bigger car that would be a better fit my new career. The next day Friday I was in a brand new Silverado that I absolutely love with a deal that was much better than I expected. Why that is? because Monika gets the job done!
Appt at 9:30. Got there at 9:10. Checked in at 9:18 with “promise” to be completed at 10:30. At 10:45, I had to ask where my car is after watching the list of cars disappear on tv screen and mine never leaving the “working” title. I was told by the desk man that my car “has been done” and he didn’t know I wasn’t notified. How much longer would I have sat there waiting if I didn’t take this upon myself?? And why bother having an appointment for this when it takes this long? 1 1/2 hours is too long to wait for an oil change. I will not be coming back there.
It was odd that I was the only customer in the garage and it took near 30 minutes to be spoken to. Some wise young man finally put down his texting to ask if I needed something. I thought standing outside my car with my belongings would have clued anyone in. However, once greeted and an advisor found she was great!
This is our households 3rd lease with Rinke, 2nd with Jeff Sredzinski. Jeff has made the process painless being very responsive to emails which helps limit our time driving back and forth to the dealership. Once we decided on our vehicles it has been pleasurable visiting Ed Rinke. Their dealership is beautiful and well organized.
Kamil ( sales ) and lorence ( financing team ) I think that was his name was excellent and very knowledgeable. I had a bunch of issues getting approved but they worked together and got me exactly what I needed. Definitely will get all my Gmc from here and tell all my friends and family. These guys truly saved the day
For the 2nd time I came in for oil change and both of time I had to deal with advisor Tina who was not nice at all, I have my brother and cousin who comes here who also experienced same thing from Tina. She has attitude when she talks to people. She needs to learn customer service.
Took my equinox in for oil change . Allen at the desk said I could have mr air filter changed for free. Sent me to part department. Parts department said I could purchase one at wholesale price 34 dollars not 50 some dollars. Allen then told me they would not install it only if I payed full price. Said it was the deal Rinke had with GM. As I watched the mechanic he pulled out the dirty one out and tossed the clean in like a frisbee never whipping out the dirty housing. Went to Allen again to tell him, he smiled and said thats how thy are done pull one out and put clean one in. No need to clean dirty housing. On top of that the mechanic drove the vehicle fast and jamming the gears (A W D) backings up while putting in drive. Changed gears while the car is still rolling. Thy gouged me with fillter, then jamming my gears. BAD ALL AROUND. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY. Do you think Im wrong?
I was shopping around with other dealerships, and I would say that their sales representatives dont have any customer service, theyre following the manner of take it or leave it, but when I went to Ed Rinke it was a different story, my sales representative named Sue, she was extremely nice, patient, friendly , excellent communication skills, professional at the same time, I consider myself as a detailed customer and I always look into the details when I get a car, and I got lucky because I met Sue, at the beginning I called her over the phone and she provided me with the availability that match my desire, then I went to the dealership to take a look and at the end I got what I need, thank you so much Sue, you are the best 👌.
Brought car for warranty on defective tires. Was advised cost would be $718.64 which made no sense given how much wear remained. Buick marked up the price of the tires by 20% the offered to cover 20%. Essentially giving me no credit. I called the tire manufacturer and was advised I only had to pay $399.42. Buick refused to work with the tire manufacturer instead wanting me to pay $718.64, more than $300 more. Unfortunately because Ed Rinke and Buick refused to work with the supplier of the tires I had to take the car to discount tire and the required to pay $59.95 fee to Ed Rinke that I would not have had to pay under warranty handled by Ed Rinke and Buick. I asked for relief since my family has leased or purchased 9 vehicles since 2015 and others I’ve referred to Ed Rinke leased or purchased. I was told NO. Time to look for another dealership for future leases and purchased.
The lack of information provided regarding my Bolt recall and potential gasoline reimbursement while using a loaner or rental cost me financially. If the dealership did not have all of the information then they should have referred me to someone that perhaps had more info. Poor communication between the GM recall program and the dealerships ultimately directly affected me.
BROUGHT MY CAR IN FOR A RECALL FIX AT 7:45 AMGREETED CHEERFULLY AND TOOK CARE OF THE PAPERWORK EFFICIENTLY AND QUICKLY.HAD A FRIEND WAITING IN ANOTHER CAR TO TAKE ME HOME.EMAILED AND CALLED ME AFTER LUNCH TELLING ME MY CAR WAS READY FOR PICK-UP.HAD A FRIEND DRIVE ME TO THE DEALERSHIP, CAR WAS READY AS PROMISED AND WAITING FOR ME.EVERYTHING GREAT EXCEPT NO COURTESY CAR.
This was my dealership of choice. I purchased extended waranties for my vehicles (at ED Rinke dealership). I brought my 2016 Sierra 1500 in for service for a repair the brochure says is covered. (ride control suspension). My truck sat for 5 days while service sought approval for the repair. Thats when I was told I Ed Rinke sold me unbeknown third party waranty (something I would not have purchased because my experience has shown them to be worthless the experience included). The repair coverage was denied (again the brochure specifically states ride control suspension is covered). I was originally given an estimate of 2 days. I rented a car for 5 days to be safe. After the 5 days and learning my claim was denided I picked up my truck no repairs made. The next day Belle Tire had my truck repaired while I was at work (at a cost of $4400)(no rental car needed). Had I known I service would be denided I could have saved time and money by making Belle Tire my first choice. Again the brochure still states that Ride Control Suspension is a covered repair. Not only was I sold a worthless third party warranty that I was made to believe was a GM warranty I rented a car I wouldnt have needed. Rightfully so Im unsatisfied.
Service has went downhill... have check engine issues with less then 2 year old truck on warrenty (which they supposedly fixed once already) have an appointment which I waited 3 months to make cause they had no loaners available... finally show up day of appointment... after I take baby seat out etc they inform me there are no loaners lol infact i have to get my own rental car thru enterprise and then get reimbursed next call to GMC customers relations time to change dealership...
I had a routine Oil and Tire rotation done. Later that night I noticed the truck drifting to the left while going straight. The only thing that changed was the fact I brought it in for service. I took it back the next morning 2/17. The service adivsor told me they couldnt do anything without an appointment. I called to set up an appointment and the lady on the phone told me i didnt need one since this issue happened after bringing it in for service, I explained the situation and she made me an appointment. All I want is for the dealership to make the situation right. The truck was perfect before bringing it in.
Got a lease from this dealership, vehicle has only 15,000 miles. engine light came on.called service center, service rep took my information, then said someone will call you shortly to setup an appointment. no one called.took the car directly to the dealership and now theyre saying its going to take a few days of diagnosis and they dont have any loaners. I need the car to get to work you clodpoor service, tone deaf responses.
My vehicle was brought in the month of October for running rough. A solenoid was replaced. Problem persisted and engine light came on. Vehicle brought back in December and I was informed the engine had sludge. Brought auto back into service department, per GM customer service and was informed by customer service to present a current recall letter that I had just received to the service desk while GM customer service addressed the issue. I presented the letter to Tina Malnar and she stated we arent going to do that its just a solenoid I was refused service by the service department. I asked to speak to the service manager, a message was brought back to me that Joe Vandervest the service manager indicated that he wouldnt honor the warranty. I asked for his card. I got back in contact with GM customer service and presented oil change record to them as the service department requested.
Normally I would refer everyone I know to Ed Rinke, but my last 3 service appointments have been terrible. The last two times my truck was in for warranty work they had to order the parts, both times i waited weeks with no call to let me know they came in until I called and they said oh yeah those have been here a while. Ive made appoints weeks out based on when they would have a loaner available and showed up with no record of them reserving a loaner at all for me. Each time ive left messages for the Service Manager to return my call and not heard from him once.
I took my 2016 Honda Civic to Ed Rinke for repair and they messed up my tire sensor. I contacted them and reported the issue and they refused to take responsibility for their action. Please, if you own any car other than Chevy DO NOT ever take your car to them for repairs. They dont know what they are doing.
Great experience, talked through full purchase details of the vehicle through phone and email. Super easy process, was able to lock down a great deal. It’s a nice dealership, the finance section is always annoying so not gonna get into that but focus on the numbers and they were truthful about it so overall good experience. The vehicle was pulled up ready to go, barley any miles on it and was cleaned well. Only thing is the driver dash was dusty and not cleaned but meh it’s alright… everything else was super clean. If your looking to get a new car ask for Frank Dimercurio he’s a great guy to work with!
Tina Malnar knows fan belts. If you should decide to ignore essential maintenance Tina will (conceptually & metaphorically) whip the soles and ankles of your feet to convince you otherwise. (Of course Tina is an expert in serpentine belts, fan belts and all belts relating to engine performance. This is understood.) Conversely, if you should start to get compulsive about superfluous maintenance she will act likewise. She will encourage you to buy food instead. Thank you Tina; 232,000 miles and my Chevrolet Silverado runs beautifully. I will get on my knees and thank you.
I came in for an oil change and to have a tire looked at. I waited for about 10 minutes for a service advisor to help me. There were no other customers at that time. I told her what I needed. She asked me to get the mileage on my vehicle. I didn’t quite understand her as I couldn’t hear her and she was speaking fast. I finally was able to obtain the information and proceeded to put my keys on the windshield wiper and they key lock for the wheels on the center console. I waited well over an hour. I saw what appeared to be my vehicle pull to the doors and then nothing. No call or text or email. After 20 minutes of waiting after seeing what I thought was my car I got up and confirmed it was indeed mine. No one came to tell me it was completed. A kind gentleman helped me and said it was. I do not know who’s responsible for notifying a customer that the vehicle is ready whether it is the service advisor, technician or a porter but I wasn’t notified. My bill didn’t reflect the tire/wheel coverage I have paid for and had to tell the cashier I had that coverage. The whole visit was just a bad experience. I will not be coming back to Rinke in the future for service or to lease another vehicle. I will tell everyone I know not to use this dealership.
Brought my 2013 malibu in to fix air in September, they got air working, but now my cigarette lighter is not working . Called but didnt schedule to fix, no big. The lady checking me in calls me a liar about the lighter. The first snow fall we realized the defroster is not working, She clames that had nothing to do with the module, and my housing and blend door need to be replaced. Its nice the lady already was very combative, and i cant prove anything. Nice to be not responsible before u guys even looked at car . My parents worked for GM for a total of 89 years i will drive anything but a chevy from now on .
I work nearby. Every morning I exit at 696 and Vandyke. Without fail every morning one of the employees likes to speed up and cut people off then brake hard and turn right into the dealership to turn in to work. (Always same gm vehicles...Newer Black gmc sierra, buick, and another suv) Not a good representation for the dealership.
Brought my car in on 03/29 and was informed there was a lot of people ahead of me. I was ensured I would have a diagnoses late 03/30. Called late 03/29 and asked if they could do a test jump of the car to ensure it was not the battery. Task was performed 03/29, but car did not start. Called on 03/30 and was told I would get a call back before my adviser left for the day. Received no call back. Drove to the dealership on 03/30 to check on the car. Upon arrival, my vehicle had not been brought in for a diagnoses. Asked to check the car to ensure the door was closed from battery jump on 03/29 due to the rain. Upon checking the vehicle, i found that my door was not shut all the way. Enough water had gotten in to make the carpet wet. I closed the door properly, and informed the supervisor that I wanted the interior checked and speaker for any water damage. Vehicle was finally brought in to the bay late 03/31 and diagnosed as a bad fuel pump. Part was ordered and informed vehicle should be ready Monday, Tuesday at the latest. 04/03, I was called and informed the vehicle was fixed. When asked about the interior and speaker, I was informed that the speaker was operating as normal. No other inspections were completed like asked. While I understand that places can get busy, there was a disconnect in communications. Had I not called for updates, and visited to find my car door not closed properly, I might still be waiting for any update. In addition, I was also informed that only TWO (2) techs were capable and trusted to diagnose vehicles prior to 1996 that dont require a Tech II hooked up. I no longer will bring my 1995 Corvette LT1 to this location for service. I will make the investment diagnose and fix this car myself, and go to Paragon Corvette for other repairs.
Purchased a used Equinox and couldnt be happier with the experience. Dave and Vince were extremely accommodating and responded to my concerns / questions in a timely manner. They both ensured the Equinox I purchased was clean and ready to go. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them.
Absolutely ridiculous that they would not honor or match a coupon we had from Moran Chevrolet. Also, most businesses as a courtesy would have quickly checked to see why our engine light was on. Instead all we got was a note that said, engine light on prior to service. It would have taken a few minutes just to see why it was on, or even just clear it. We did not expect any issues to be fixed right then and there, but if we had gone to any other place they would have checked the engine light as a courtesy. Also, my husband said that the lady at the front desk was kind of rude when he was asking about the Moran coupon. Next time we will be going to Moran. Which is where I told my husband to go in the first place because I have never had any issues with them. However, he wanted to give his business to you.
Tyler Andrews was a phenomenal salesman. From upfront clear pricing, explaining vehicle features, to filling out paperwork with the finance manager Sebastian this was a painless new car experience. If we ever purchase another GM vehicle in the future Ill only come to Ed Rinke and work with these guys.
I have been buying and visiting GM dealerships over the last 35 years and I would say Ed Rinke offered me one of the best experiences not only in terms of dealer interaction but also the dealership layout and cleanliness. Sales people were very professionally dressed with very clean and well laid out offices. Paul Tiska was very friendly and very supportive of my buying process. He was very responsive and very transparent as well. I would go back to Ed Rinke again.
I was pleased that a rental vehicle was available and the part that I needed was in stock which took care of my check engine light issue. I was pleased with the 3 day turn around as well. Another dealership told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they could look at it and could not offer a rental car during that time. They also said the part was probably on back order. Thank you.
Friendly service people - Andy is just GREAT! Great service - car is always well-taken care of and fixed properly - no problems after the service. I will always rely on Ed. Rinke Service to attend to any problems with my 2 cars - a Yukon XL and a Chev Suburban. My one regret is that there is no more shuttle-service when the car needs extended time to be repaired. But glad that I can now at least stay on-site for the needed service.
Took my car here for a recall notice and though the initial experience was horrible with them treating me like a thorn and making me feel unwanted, they fixed my recall issue without cost to me and the lady this time was very friendly. Enterprise gave me a great rental price for having my car here.
Given how low inventory is, I am pleased with the vehicle I purchased. Tyler Andrews was my salesperson. I was a walk in and Tyler was available. Tyler did a really good job walking me through the potential lease prices and even pointed out to me that I was missing an Employee Appreciation Voucher that ended up lowering my purchase price into a payment I was satisfied with. The purchase paperwork and GMAC package options were explained to me satisfactorily as well. I would reach out to Tyler and Rinke in the future if seeking another vehicle for lease or purchase or in need of service.
Great experience at this dealer. They have responded all my questions, and have been transparent during the whole purchase process. All the paperwork was done easy and on time. Our dealer sales consultant is attending a few issues we found on the vehicle even after the deal was closed. I am a happy customer. Ask for Vince Velasco, he is great.
Horrible customer service!! If you want to waste your time with unprofessional salesman (Paul Tiska) then come here. Ordered a vehicle and waited almost 3 months for it to arrive and once it arrived, they sold it within 2 days without giving me any time to pick up. All they care about is to sell, sell, sell, no sympathy towards the customer needs. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Service was great; however, I couldnt locate my car wherever they parked it. Ive got injured ribs, hard time walking. I was at the sales door and went in just to sit for 2 minutes to catch my breath at Paul Tiskas desk. I explained what happened and Paul took my keys to locate my car and drove it up so I wouldnt have to walk anymore. What a guy!!
I was in a dilemma with my battery (12V) needing replacement due to my car not wanting to change gears or shut off (the battery was in saver mode). My dilemma was I had a trip planned to go on vacation and needed my car service quickly. I arrived at 6:15pm on a Thursday and left my car at the dealership with hesitance, but was surprised to get a call back by 7:30pm that the service was complete. Kudos to your service coordinator as she was spectacular in making it all happen!
I brought my car here for a second opinion about a mechanical failure. They were honest, kept me well informed, and were very patient in the manner with which they worked with me. Allen, and the service department, kept me apprized of any and all developments. Jennifer in sales was fabulous to work with. The car ended up being a lost cause and the only thing that kept me from buying a new vehicle from here was a lack of inventory. Which, I dont blame them for given the current market for used cars. There was a bit of phone tag at times, but I was overall happy with the way I was treated. The team is very respectful and operates with a great amount of integrity.
Every time i call for service there, i do get connected but always get hung up on. When I call back, i am being told we were disconnected. I don’t think we will be disconnected every time i call. Very disappointed with them. I will not be using them anymore, even know they are super close to my home.
This is literally the worst dealership i have ever been to, all of the women that work in the service department are very rude and seem to have a chip on there shoulder. Do not, I repeat DO NOT GO THERE! If i could give this place negative stars i would. They dont even deserve the 1 star
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst customer service ever brought my vehicle in for service clearer making a ticking noise every time I turn the steering wheel and supposedly upon inspection nothing was supposedly found. Won’t even check the vehicle again since they couldn’t find the issue but clearly they didn’t inspect the car to understand the issue. Would definitely not visit this place for service.
I was due for an oil change and wanted to get new tires, as well. I found Ed Rinke offered the best price for the tires I needed for my truck. Coincidently, my truck developed a starting problem. I called Andy Vanscoy to discuss this. He mentioned some possible reasons and arranged to do a diagnostic while my vehicle was in for the new tires. They found the problem and were able to do the repair. I appreciate this, as I know the Service Department is busy this week.
We had the worst experience with our latest lease. Took my vehicle in for scheduled oil change & tire rotation & they damaged 2 tires. I finally noticed a week later, took it to a dealership closer to my home & they told me I didn’t have the warranty! I’ve leased 6 vehicles every 2 to 3 years with the same warranty on tire & rim protection & the salesman Ed, messed up so bad on my warranty & I had to pay for 2 new tires & hours of headaches. You would think they would work with a loyal customer. But they were less than helpful. Never go there. No customer loyalty at all. My business will be elsewhere.
I was looking to lease a new car quickly and hassle free as my schedule is extremely busy. Zack @ Ed Rinke provided me with fast quotes over the phone and had a great inventory on the lot. I will be going back when my lease is up. Excellent service and a speedy process!
Michael Johnson was great. He gave me options for the available vehicles, provided accurate lease numbers and had me in and out of the dealer in less than 3 hrs (only took a little while because the vehicle I wanted had just come off the transport truck. Most importantly he didnt tell me come back tomorrow. He just got it done.) Overall great guy, straight shooter, no back and forth.
I came in to get an oil chance around 8 am, I was told about 1 hour wait (which was fine). I ended up waiting over 2+ hours. Once my vehicle showed it was ready on the screen (Buick area) no one came to get me (like the usually do) or reviewed my overall inspection. I waited 10 min until I just went to agent and ask to pay. I went and paid for the service and asked them was everything good with my vehicle and I was just directed to my paperwork. Definitely was not a good customer experience as this was my second bad experience in a row with this dealership (I came in a week before looking to purchase a vehicle and no one wanted to help -it wasn’t busy folks were just sitting at there desk).I’m considering another dealership (my wife and I).
Absolutely fantastic experience. I chose Ed Rinke collision for my accident repairs because I have been leasing cars through them since 15. They got my car back to me 4 days earlier than they estimated. Even allowed me to use one of their loaner cars due to my loyalty to them. The quality of the work they did was second to none. I am extremely pleased. Nice, friendly people. I will recommend them to anyone. Thank you.
I have never ever went to a dealership to receive service and I have to get out my car an walk around to find someone to assist me, the person I found was rude not helpful at all I felt like I didnt met a certain profile to be in this dealership, I had an appointment an it still took 2 hours for my car to be done in which my tires were not rotated I have a cap missing on one tire and that same tire was still in the rear passenger side, my number was taking I received a welcome text but never a text informing me my car was ready. I would never go to this dealership again or send my friends or family here worse experience ever!
I took my vehicle in for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT and I did hear anything from the service adviser by the second day , so I went to the dealership only to find out that that had not started working on my car, 2 more days went by and I returned to be told that I should hear something in a few days. Three more days went by and was told that they couldnt get a code reading from the computer , but they were almost sure they knew what it was.. A few more days went by and another visit to the dealership I went and found out that they vehicle warranty was expired and the part and labor was $1200. My biggest issue was that it took two weeks to fix my car and not once did my service rep call to keep me in the loop as to what was go on or the progress of my vehicle. No reasonable accommodations were offered or made for rental car or other transportation and I was told only if it was covered under warranty that they would supply a loaner. Just over poor customer service.
I came in to purchase my first lease ever. Jennifer did a FANTASTIC job with making me feel comfortable and confident in my decision with my car selection. I knew what car I was interested in and had actually came in to test drive it 2 months ago. She proposed the idea to just go and look at it one more time to decide. Jennifer truly made my experience a great one and am looking forward to hopefully work with her for my next lease in a few years! The staff was helpful and the dealership was clean and professional.
4/4/2022- Oil change for my 2021 Blazer :Great place for all our Chevy service needs. Took my 2021 Blazer without any appointment and the intake and delivery process were very professional and the waiting lobby was great and have display to track our vehicle progress. No appointments needed for oil change.Awesome guys for Sales and Service.2019-EquinoxIt was an awesome experience with Ed Rinke service and sales.I had an transmission issue on my leased vehicle, they took care of the issue and got it fixed and arranged a new loaner (2RINKE) BLZR see Photo below and all done with no cost. Everyone is awesome.
My complaint is about their collision estimator (Peggy and the manager John). She had a very nasty attitude on the phone and in person, and she has poor customer service skills. She claimed that she explained everything to me on the phone 7 times and hysterically started laughing when I tried telling her that she never even talked to me about the issue and refused to say it again acting like that is not her job and kept laughing instead of addressing my problem. I tried talking to the manager about the poor customer service I received and he did not seem to care about anything I said.
I made an appointment for efficiency, quoted an hour, waited 2 hours. I was told by enrolling in text alerts, Id receive a text when my oil change was done, I did not get one. The technician working on my vehicle whipped my car in and out of his bay too fast, made me uncomfortable. Plastic bag garbage was left in my vehicle. I was greeted timely, and the gentleman that assisted was friendly, but never introduced himself or explained how long g it may take. I only knew because I know how to read my paperwork.
Service advisor was very unknowledgeable, and was not helpful at all. He couldnt even figure out how to get the battery cover off of my key fob. Recognized there was a distance issue with my transmitter, seen there was a TSB for it, had my vehicle for at least a day, and didnt even fix the issue. Ive bought several cars from this dealership and this will definitely be the last.
My service advisor, Joe Ankrom, was very friendly, professional and helpful, along with the cashier who assisted me in retrieving and utilizing my reward points. I am not pleased with your dealership not having a shuttle service available to your customers. This may prompt me to find a dealership that provides this service when I purchase/lease my next vehicle.
My first time at Ed Rinke was last year, I still had my white Equinox and I came for an oil change and even though I didnt buy my Equinox from Ed Rinke they showed care and kindness. On my visit last Friday, I had a new Equinox and they still showed the same care and kindness. I would recommend Ed Rinke and hopefully Ill be able to purchase my next car from Ed Rinke. Thank you
Service agent was rude when dropping off car. No walk through when picking up vehicle and repair was not completed. This caused me to drive back out to the dealership waisting time. The service agent did try to call to tell me however he just left a message to call him back. He should have left the complete message on my voicemail or the dealership policy should be speaking directly with service agent when picking up car and not just cashier. This wasted a significant part of my day. One more experience like this and I will choose a new dealership to work with in the future.
I came to Rinke because of a previous purchase that did not happen, because the trade in price was very low. We were very impressed with Jennifer Schmelzle the sales person. So I went back and leased my new Blazer. Every thing went perfect. She was very informed and answered all my questions.
Gabriel Hogston was great. He is personable and very knowledgeable. He made our buying experience both easy and enjoyable. Amanda explained the warranty issues clearly making everything easy to understand. However, the preparation of the vehicle was not done very well at all. The truck had been washed and there were dirty water spots on the top surfaces and the windshield was never touched. While driving later that evening I could clearly see the suction cup marks from the assembly process and lines from the packing material used in shipping to the assembly plant. Our overall experience at Ed Rinke was a positive one that was only spoiled by a lousy prep of the truck. Yes, I would buy another vehicle there and yes, I would recommend Ed Rinke to others looking to buy a new vehicle.Thank you,Tom Rushman
I scheduled an appt for oil change and tire rotation after going through the multi point inspection every box is checked as good tire rotation tire alignment tire balance tire pressure shocks and struts steering components axle d or drive shaft and I joints every item currently marked as good however I have shaking in my tire or wobbling as well as the light starting check the system as well as the toe pressure light is on. I took the car back today and I was told during that inspection you guys only rotate the tire from one area to another you don’t inspect the tire then once I asked were the brakes or components on the tire inspected I was told the same thing again. My question is how is it possible for you to check all these boxes as of everything is good when you only changed the oil and moved the tires from one spot to another. I was at 50% on my oil when I brought my car in for service so I explained I’m leaving town tomorrow going on a road trip and this is the service I received. Now I have to go on the highway in a car that’s questionable. I’m not happy nor will I ever trust Ed Rinke again.
I live in Battle Creek ( 2hour drive) most everything was able to be done over the phone. Working with Anthony Galisi was a great experience. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, well organized. I have already recommended him and the dealership to family & friends. I decided to have running boards as an addition to my truck. Anthony and the service department worked together to make sure it was done the day I was scheduled to pick it up.Thanks for an Excellent buying experience and I look forward to doing business in the future!!!!
I pulled into the service area at 9:30 am. they took my information and directed me to a waiting area. I was getting my first oil change and tire rotation and check up. I did not see my car taken back to get worked on. about 45 minuets later I saw it driven to the front of the service area, with the window down. At that point I assumed it had to go to somewhere else. So I sat and waited. There were others waiting there for hours. Now one ever came it to get any of us. At about 11:50 I went out to the desk to ask about the car the man said it has been done. I went into the cashiers office where there were 3 women working {talking} I was kind of ignored. Finally I asked if my car was done. The lady said yes, than she said someone had my receipt and should be back soon I waited. he did not come back so she printed a new one and I left the office very angry. I did not get out of there until 12:15. This is not the first time this happened to me at this dealer. I will go to another dealer closer to my home next time. They dont seem to care at this one about customer service.
To start off I had an appointment on October 12 at 4:20. When I got there The clerk was kind and helpful and started my paperwork right away. When the paperwork was ready I went to pick up the rental car I was promised and they proceeded to tell me that they did not have any left. So They wasted a good half an hour of my time and the drive to the dealership was wasted. When I got the call back that they had a rental car the next day. The car was extremely dirty on the outside and don’t smell good on the inside. I asked the person that was working with the rentals if I could get him to give it a car wash before I left and he told me no that all the porters had gone home for the day. So I had to take a dirty rental to a car wash and clean the inside myself. They were quick to fix my vehicle they had it done and running by the 15th.
In the last 7 months we have leased 3 vehicles from Chris Yee at the Ed Rinke dealership, and every single time Chris has provided the best service possible. He is very professional, prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. When we lost our first vehicle due to a total loss accident, Chris was able to quickly assist us in setting us up with another lease and replacement vehicle. We cannot thank Chris enough for all the amazing work he has put in to make our experiences memorable and positive. We will always look forward to working with Chris in the future for our vehicle needs. Thank you Ed Rinke Chevrolet!!
Took my car in for a brake job and alignment. Had an appointment. Delays turned it into a 2 day job but the real cherry is when they called me to tell me it was ready - We werent able to finish the alignment due to a rather substantial fuel leak. They werent kidding! My car would cough and sputter, didnt want to even start! Fuel dumping out the back. Yet no fuel in my garage, no mention of this leak during the phone tag and 2 days of delays. Oh, they also wanted to make sure I understood, because they finished 80% of the alignment, I was charged for all of it. I asked if they can do the fuel lines, no, car is too old. I asked anywhere they recommend, he said hed ask a few guys and let me know. I left right immediately, live 5 minutes away. He was gone when I got there. Went home. Been waiting for a How did we do? in the mail but its been a few weeks, so I doubt Ill even get one of those now. Ill write a few online reviews.Update:Problem back 2 weeks later. Ill just do the brakes myself, this time. Cant get the lugs off. Overtightened this much are prob why my rotors warped two weeks later.
Wonderful, BY ALL MEANS. Paul Tiska is your guy! Wanna ride a new whip? Check out Paul. Such a humble sales man, great & understanding, oh, and very informative. My experience here is beyond great. I will always come back and refer my friends & family to this amazing dealership.Keep up the good work!
Leased a regal from Mike Malone never responds to emails or phone calls so didnt want to go back. They called as lease is coming to an end so I said ok give me prices but with different sales person 1.5 weeks later no call back. Called and spoke with manager seemed to care but wont go back. Went to Monicatti out in New Baltimore. Out of this world customer service and if he doesnt have they will find it. Go see Mike
Disappointed, had a 12:30 appointment (received 3 texts & 2 emails) reminding me I had an appointment.Arrived around 12:10, was told appointments were down, I couldnt have made an appointment on line.I needed oil change & tire rotation. I also asked if the front right tire be checked for a leak. Advisors response was $25.Car finally taken in around 1:30.I got out at 2:40.Also...Tina needs to leave her attitude at home & not bring it to work
When the parts came in, to repair the damage, I was notified immediately. I also requested an oil change. Not only was my car repaired and detailed, they did the oil change and even rotated my tires. They sure made getting hit by a drunk driver a positive experience with the outcome. Thank you, thank you.
My experience is too long to even discuss. To be brief, the communication on the status of my repairs was insufficient. No one spending $1,600, or any amount, should have to chase down an advisor to find out what is going on with their vehicle. Nor should a person be surprised at the end of the journey the price wasnt what was discussed. I appreciate Mike the service manager, for getting involved and trying to get it resolved . And Rob, the body shop manager for following up with me after not hearing anything for a week. The workmanship may have been A one. However the communication missed the mark.I have no desire to return to this location.
Overall, the experience was very nice.My dealer was Jennifer Schmelzle. She treated me very fairly. No pushy sales tactics.Very friendly. And very helpful. She did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable and making the process go through very smoothly. If and when I send someone looking for a car, I would recommend your place and Jennifer.
Always fast and easy I just walk in and walk right out with my new vehicle. Im not held hostage. Most of the process is completed prior to my coming into the dealership and all I have to do when I arrive is sign the documents, complete the On Star registration, transfer my things from the old car to the new and Joila!!!! Im off in my new vehicle. I love my initial sales person and this years sales person. It would be nice to have the same one each time, but Im certainly glad to have a wonderful sales person each time. Ill continue to remain a lease loyalty with Ed Rinke not only because youre right in my neighborhood but because of the wonderful sales and service staff!!!!!!!
Well I went to this dealership to buy a trailblazer, and let me tell you if you have a vehicle to trade in stay away from this place go to other dealerships first to get your vehicle appraised, you will find, this dealership on mobile big time Im talking $3,000 or more less than what some other dealership will offer you for your trade. Do yourself a favor shop your trade, dont be desperate to get a vehicle tell the people you will come back this place is like Moran, and Matthew Hargreaves that will give you at least three more thousand for your trade then Ed Rinke. You will be thanking me later.

2022-05-18I had a great experience here. I had just purchased a new 2021 Camaro and within the first 4 months was rear ended in a hit and run. Joe and the rest of the Body Shop and Service staff re-assured me all would be perfect. They kept in touch with me so I was never wondering what was going on, which is a huge benefit most people dont think about. When I received the car back, I could not believe how well it was done. The paint, which is a special order color was perfect, the quarter panel welding was better than the factory, and the car was detailed very well. On top of that, they went ahead and took care of a TSB/recall on my dash radio without me having to find out and schedule it for more service. Huge convenience there!I could not have asked for more and Ed Rinke will be my main dealer for all of my service and body work needs! Thanks again!

2021-12-30Nick K was the absolute best salesman. He made the process quick and thorough, from the first time I spoke with him on the phone to handing over the keys. The dealership was amazing too, huge super clean showroom! Loren was also great to work with. He made all the paperwork seem to go by quickly. And one of the biggest things that both guys did was they were not pushy at all. Thank you for making picking up two cars go smoothly. Happy New Year!

2021-11-12Vine and Dave were both awesome! We had been looking for a extended size SUV for months and couldn’t find anything nice and well maintained. A friend referred me to Rinke and I’m so thankful they did. They checked every box we had asked for! They also made this happen in a matter of days and had us in our new truck in the same week. Hats off to the team at Rinke for taking such good care of our family! I would suggest anyone to visit them for new or used vehicles! Thanks guys… we are so in love with our 19 Yukon XL Denali!!!

2022-01-26I was going through a repurchase with GM, the process began in mid September 2021. I called Zack Pine, my previous sales person and he immediately sprung into action to help me through the process. He spoke to Paul, the sales manager, to assist us to get everything I needed. Zack went over new vehicles that were coming in, got me new lease prices and reserved a vehicle for me before it was even done being built. Zack and Paul checked in with me often, worked with the repurchase coordinator quickly to get everything needed over to the repurchase coordinator and really took great care of me. This process took 4 months and Zack worked with me showing great patience and compassion. I will return to Ed Rinke Chevrolet every time I need a new vehicle because the people I dealt with TRULY CARE. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Zack and Paul. Zack also recently took fantastic care of my Mother and got her into a new lease as well. GREAT JOB ZACK!!! Thank you, Ed Rinke Chevrolet, for all your help and taking GREAT care of me!! I LOVE my new 2022 Traiblazer!!

2022-02-25Our sales person, Nick Kosciewski, is the BEST! He had everything lined up, anticipated our needs, and executed the new lease perfectly (at least so far). He arranged for our drop off of our current lease vehicle with no issues. Sebastian (last name?) took us through the legal/financial detail of the new lease with knowledge and confidence, making recommendations where appropriate and guiding us through the process. They (Nick and Sebastian) made a potentially tenuous experience a smooth transition from one leased vehicle to another. Rinke dealership was open, well lit, clean, and welcoming. Excellent overall experience.

2022-05-25Gabriel was excellent to work with. I appreciated his quick response and his ability to negotiate a deal without having to get 10 different approvals from a finance manager. I drove from a few hours away to purchase my vehicle from Gabriel because of the competitive pricing, and great service. I also appreciated Gabriel was able to discuss firm pricing over the phone which made the purchasing experience much easier. Gabriel understands the customers time is valuable, and negotiating remotely was extremely valuable to me during my vehicle purchase experience. I will be reaching out to Gabriel when it is time for a new lease.

2022-05-16It was really convenient to be able to complete the process of ordering the car and getting the details figured out via email, text, and phone. Jeff was quick with feedback and responses. he really tried to find me the best situation for my budget and needs and gave me different options. The final pick up and payment process in person was efficient, smooth, and simple.

2022-06-17Monika was an outstanding and exceptional sales person. She did everything she could to make sure that my experience at the GM dealership was great and very satisfactory. She worked very hard to find me the car that fits my needs and requirements. I am very pleased with the experience I had and will definitely be considering Ed Rinke for the next car I will be getting. Keep up with your good work!

2022-06-03The body shop experience was excellent and I would definitely return to have work done with them. The service side on the other hand was a negative experience. I brought my car in for an A/C issue and instantly the service team member started telling me how much it was going to cost. I explained to her that I had just picked the car up the previous day and noticed the air didn’t get cold. She said that has nothing to do with why it was there for service and that I had to pay for it to get looked at. I asked to speak to her manager. He came over and said there was nothing he could do and for me to take the car from service and go to the body shop to see if some previous repairs were the issue. They were very dismissive towards me and didn’t bother to look me up in the system to see if I had a valid issue. It was just a money grab situation to me. They were not very friendly and I will not bring my car back there for service. The body shop was very helpful and resolved my issue quickly because they looked in the system and found that the issue wasn’t my fault. I appreciate the body shop for actually talking to me and figuring out what the issue was. Service shop personnel was unprofessional and rude.
