Locker rooms are large and clearly marked. Lobby area has an electronic display which shows who is on the ice and when. Bathrooms are also clean and easily accessible. Parking is plentiful as well. Ice quality is great and the crew there takes pride in their job.
Great place to take the kids skating. Our 4 and 6 year old had never been on skates and we wanted to try it. Good rental selection, friendly staff, and a nice rink for them to learn on. Close to home for us so well be back for sure!
Their facility is clean and well taken care of. Their programs are great. Decent snack bar.

Eddie Edgar is nice, very clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have open skating times just about everyday, the weekday sessions usually are not crowded but the weekend skates can get busy. You can also rent a rink and community room for a skating birthday party.
Our group had a blast during the open skate. They have 2 arenas and skate rentals for an extremely reasonable price (even cheaper if you are a Livonia resident). The skate are pretty worn so if you are very particular then bring your own.
One of the nicest facilities I have skated at. 2 sheets of ice. Very nice ice. Good size locker rooms, hot showers, heated stands, water taps on the benches and great employees
Decent arena, fairly typical. Glass Full of puck marks, hard to find a clear view up close. Mens room was very smelly, not as clean as other arenas. 3-3.5 stars.
Its cold, loud, fast paced and brite!Everything youd look for in ice!Friendly staff, clean arena, plenty of parking, but smaller spots (trucks all the way back), easy to spot from the road.Good place.

First time there and Im impressed with the facility. Wish I could shower after skating, but such is life in pandemic mode.

What fun getting some exercise on a beautiful rink. Rental of skates and open skating was so reasonable and such fun. Plenty of room to work on your skating skills.
Great place to watch your nephew skate. They have the heat on usually. Seats arent all the comfortable, but your right on the ice.
My fiance plays beer league hockey here every Friday night ! I love going to every game because it is the nicest most clean hockey rink I have seen yet. I highly recommend everyone to skate here 😀
This place is awesome to play at. I love how there are two rinks. I love the bright lighting in the building. I love the ceilings arent 10 feet above you like devonaire. The only complaint? Dont ever, EVER get your skates sharpened at this place. The kid asked my buddy and i if weve ever sharpened skates before lol. Of course not! Thats why we are paying you! He went on to talk about how he usually cross grinds the blade...he ended up jacking my buddys blades up and literally burnt both of our skates. We ended up going to peranis after that and they asked who had sharpened our skates last. When we told them, he said that our skates were the worst that hes ever seen lmao. Im guessing the kid was just new and hopefully things have changed

They have the cleanest ice arena in Michigan. The bathrooms are emaculate. Ive been to a lot of ice arenas and its the best.

Went here for open skate. Rink was clean, rental skates were in good shape. Good experience. Would recommend it.

I brought my summer camp program 60+ kids. They had 45 mins on the ice.. kids just loved it..
I like this arena. When you go in to watch the players its warm. Its good sitting area. Before you go on theres table to sit. Nice arena........

Have good skating lessons for preschool age kids. Livonia hockey association offers a lot of activities for the kids here.

2022-07-10This was a great place to have the breakfast at the Spree. It was well organized and efficient. Lots of good food and wonderful volunteers.

2021-09-19This place needs some updates. They blast the radio during open skate and it is all commercials and maybe 20% music. Why not stream music at this day and age? No one wants to hear commercials blasting on the radio continuously. A real drag! The concession stand has NO food. Ever. No one works the concession counter either. How can you run an ice arena with mainly growing kids and have NO food available for them to purchase? You have to walk around to find someone to help you get a fountain drink. The vending machine is completely empty. The rental skate blades are so dull you cant even skate. This place really needs some work. Id much rather go to more updated ice arenas and pay more to have a pleasant experience. Eddie Edgar has really gone downhill.

2019-11-23Today I took my daughter to open skating for the first time!It was such a nice experience.... everyone was so nice and helpful ! I honestly felt like a regular!!I was absolutely impressed by them !I have also called them about classes and they were so polite and responsive....Thank you for the lovely experience!

2021-03-02I have always liked coming to this rink. I played here once or twice a season growing up and now my kids do the same. The rink has always been really clean and kept up nicely!
