Comment: I felt comfortable leaving my personal belongings here, seems to be pretty much secure! BUT, I feel like the prices for storages are getting pretty steep now a days! So many people losing their storages due to non pmt.! I think they should take into consideration that more than half the people who have a unit have also lost their homes or other sad situations where the storage companies are keeping their personal belongings such as family heirlooms or pictures that have no sentimental value to them! So, what happens to those items???? There can and should be a solution to this where both parties are satisfied, and yes I understand if they would just pay their bills! Its not that easy, and I feel like Im speaking for a lot of people who have had to go through this! All in all, thank you El Monte storage for temporarily keeping my stuff safe!!!! LC

Comment: Loved using this storage. Its clean, easy and affordable. I only needed it for few months but will definitely be a return customer. Bryan helped me during move in and out and he was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to fit my whole apartment into a small unit, it was great.

Comment: Worst place ever, rude staff! No morals or work ethics..Who interviewed these people? Forest Gump?I just had it too many times got burned. Unit was broken into. They shrugged theyre shoulders. When the door broke, the lazy girl up front wouldnt come look at the door or .are a formal report. I asked her to just get me Another unit. She said none available. Then came back and said ok I found one you can move your stuff into, just come in when youre ready.... next thing I know she gets me kicked out! Evicted. Well I found a unit with drive up access for 9 dollars more and a free truck to move my stuff..2 miles away... good riddance 👏

She answered all my questions and even showed me where my unit was.Please recognize Joann as a terrific employee. She is a wonderful person and she was also training someone else. Comment: OK prices, but they move up quickly without warning. Poor customer service when remote. Definitely not a place Id rely on long term or while traveling. Nice facility, but last time I was there they closed the bathroom off to customers. They also did not honor an online coupon when I signed up, which is illegal, but I didnt feel like pushing it. I would say this is not at all a customer oriented business, and not very organized.

Comment: Chose El Monte Storage due to the location and a special monthly price. The facility is very clean, and when I arrived gardeners were tending the surrounding area. The representative, Joanna Sandoval, was on her own on a weekend day and despite several people arriving during my sign in, she was cheerful, patient and thorough with everyone. She offered me a choice of units, showed me the unit and then completed my contract. The building and unit were exceedingly clean and temperature controlled. I am storing numerous boxes of books and a few small household items and frankly, am moving from another storage place as the prices are just too high. That storage place was fine as well, but it does help to get specials and good prices. I am very pleased with the look and professionalism of this place hope to stay at El Monte Storage for awhile.

Comment: Im only giving two stars because some of the employees are actually helpful. That darnell or darrell *supposed* manager is awful. Instead of yelling at his paying customers maybe he should train the staff and himself better, so they are better capable of answering your questions immediately. Be cautious of all the loitering around they literally have theyre storage set up like its a home, which came in handy one day that we got locked in *(because they fail to notify you of time changes)* they only call and email you so you can pay the bill. Well some of the people just chilling there just called someone who could bypass the pw to come in, which worked out well for us but honestly it can be scary. Its dark, theyre drinking and you really dont know what they are up to.

Comment: I had to store some Iteams for just one month. They had the storage size I needed. They had a sale too so I got it for $25 for one month. I like a deal.This place is clean and very strict with the access hours. I will use them again in the future. If you go make sure to ask if they have a sale going so hopefully you can get a good deal too.

I had left my unit one week after I had been billed and they refused to prorate me any of the unused time. Other than that, it was a great storage facility at a good price
