DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLES SERVICED HERE!!!! Worst service experience ever. Ive grown up in dealerships, even worked for them. I went in for an oil change while my toddler and I waited. They couldnt tell me why it took an hour and a half compared to the 45 minutes I was quoted. Come to find out they loosened my lug nuts on one of my tires, Im guessing to ensure I came back with more work to be done. Two of my lug nuts came off on the highway, endangering my child and myself. If I could give negative stars they would have -5. Save yourself from being endangered and go elsewhere.
I had the pleasure of working with Tyler on my recent Genesis purchase. Given the unprecedented times of vehicle shortages I wasn`t expecting too much. Tyler was honest about the inventory but said he would make every effort to find me the car I wanted. It took less than a month for Tyler to deliver exactly what I was seeking. I had a very positive and stress free experience.
Adam Owen took great care of us. We heard online that financing straight through our credit union would get us a better interest rate. It ended up being a huge ordeal. Not worth it. And wasnt even better. Ended up going through Elder Hyundai. He even got us a great deal on our trade in from 2009!
Samantha was very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure that I received my car in an expedited manner. It was a very quick turnaround time for a CPO validation from the mechanic team. I have owned Hyundai cars for over 25 years and will continue to recommend them.
Great experience in buying my 2022 Tucson with Elder Hyundai. Alli was great to work with. Easy reachable for any questions and provided continuous updates on the status of the vehicle. I bought a Hyundai Tucson from Elder Hyundai. The whole process was very smooth and easy. Tyler Allor was our sales agent and he went out of his way to make sure we got the car that we wanted and that we were happy. He was always pleasant and never tried to push anything on us. George Lis, the finance manager, was also very honest and transparent with the numbers. This was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve had. Thank You Tyler and George!
We had the best leasing experience with Tyler Allor, we had gone to three other dealerships before coming into Hyundai. One dealership was very rude, the other two were nice but could not get us to a price pointe what we were comfortable paying. Tyler brought us in to his office, not only did he make us feel right at home but went above and beyond explaining all the details of our lease, and what we needed. We are now leasing a Venue and are very happy. Thank you, Tyler.
Sami Rayis was an EXCELLENT salesman. He was very thorough and patient. Once I found what I was looking for and purchased my vehicle, he took the time to explain most of the features that came in my 2022 Tuscon. I just went in for an oil change which I’ve done several times at Elder Hyundai but I had an oil leak this time that needed to be investigated. I had taken my car for it’s most recent oil change to another Hyundai dealership in the area. The team at Elder gave me an initial estimate for an hour’s worth of work to do the investigation but upon first notice they saw that the leak was caused by a loose bolt from the previous oil change. They immediately told me and charged me nothing for the time. I really appreciated that honesty. Maybe we should expect and hope for that in this world but we don’t always see it. The team there was so friendly, helpful, and even relieved (for me) that the oil leak was a simple fix and the subsequent oil change went so smoothly and quickly that it really helped to built trust which is so important and yet so rare in many auto dealerships. I like this location a lot and would recommend them.
Great place, the Sales staff are extremely friendly. Sami Rayis is such a down to earth guy; he was very friendly and nice. My mom was looking for her first car in over 10 years, he took the time to talk to her about what she wanted and would be comfortable driving. He was a great guy who went above and beyond for her to get in the car she really wanted. Even after the sale he helped her get the plate and followed up to see if things were going well.I would highly recommend this dealership and seeing Sami when getting a new car.
I have been a customer here for several years and never had bad customer service till now! The customer calls and nobody answers the phone. When they do answer the phone the appointment you have to make with them is months out. They give you quotes of simple repairs and then you go to pay and its more then its been quoted. Besides all that, they order parts for you and dont call you back to let you know they came in and the repair can be done. What kind of place are they running? What I do know is that I will go out of My Way to Not come back!
I purchased a 2022 Tucson Hybrid yesterday. Sami Rayis is my salesman. He has excellent customer service, very knowledgeable of the car and worked with me as to when I could physically pick up the car. When I did take delivery of the car, Sami thoroughly went over the car. He didn’t rush anything because there is a bit to learn! I also appreciate that Elder Hyundai does not have gimmicks when purchasing the car. What you see is what you pay. Thank you for being a customer oriented business.
Sami has been awesome getting me a car in this hot market, when I wasn’t even in the state. I was coming from Dallas and was not confident when a lot of dealers were charging addendum over MSRP. I called atleast 10 dealers and they weren’t friendly. I called Sami and all I had to do was to book the car. I landed in Michigan and after 5 days I got my car. Amazing experience !
This is my second review on Elder Hyundai, I just bought my second car from Elder. Both of my purchases with Elder where with Samantha Steed, who was great to work with on the Kona we bought in 2019 for my daughter and our 2022 Palisade. Professional ,honest pricing, no pressure sales and in these crazy time to buy a car consistent communication. I have talked to every Hyundai Dealer within 100 miles most charge way over MRSP and some where even hard to talk to, un professional and at times just rude. I never experienced any of that from the great staff at Elder Hyundai. It is the closes Hyundai Dealer to me but I would travel 100 miles for the positive experience I have had with Elder over two vehicle purchases and service on my daughters Kona.
Dropped by to take a look at the Palisade on Saturday and George greeted us and gave us one to test drive. He was one of the best salesmen we came across! He gave us all the info, answered everything and was upfront with all the numbers and never pressured us at all!We ended up booking one and are so happy with the purchase! This dealership and just everyone there is polite and greeted my wife and I with smiles. The procces with our salesmen Tyler was very quick and easy with no pressure at all. He was very understandable! Tyler respond fast and explained every little thing in detail and answered any questions we had!
We were extremely pleased with our experience at Elder Hyundai. It was the easiest, painless car shopping experience weve ever had! We did a little research online prior to showing up at the dealership. We walked in and were greeted and handed over to Samantha. We told her which car we wanted to test drive and why. By the time we returned from our test drive, she had some numbers drawn up. The next morning, I filled out the necessary paperwork online, called my insurance company, and by the afternoon I was able to come in, sign and drive. Love it!

Great place to look for and purchase a new vehicle. Ask for Sami- very friendly, professional, and helpful- NOT pushy- salesperson. He is happy and able to answer all your questions or concerns. WOW! let me start off by saying I worked in auto sales for quite some time and this place is on a whole different level of customer service and friendliness. low pressure, fair deals in an industry and market that is highly cut-throat is extremely refreshing to witness. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. we love our 2022 Genesis Gv70! You guys are something else. I have been trying to to get the new tucson for a while and had a initial deposit that was refundable. That was refunded to me without my permission and I found out 3 weeks later. Here I am waiting for my car. I told the manager to keep my deposit via text after I got off the phone with him when we talked 3 weeks ago. I tried to put another deposit and all of a sudden Paula says its not refundable. Im going with toyota all day. I waited almost a month for my vehicle and at the end I dont have a vehicle coming in. I was going to even lease the vehicle if I had to but Im going with another company. Horrible customer service overall the dealership. Made me wait and then your going to tell me thats its not refundable. There many other options. They are not the only dealership guys. I know you they dont care but dont waste peoples time please.
Buying a car is a generally lousy experience we all assume we are being taken. Thanks to Tyler and the rest of the sales teams here I had a great experience. First unlike greedy dealers in Southfield and close by they did not charge a “market fee” which is just another phrase for greedy. I was given a fair price and all incentives available. They were honest about what was available and accurate as to delivery. Answered all my questions through the process quickly and accurately. Closing was simple. I got offered all the extras with no hard sell. Took the one I wanted and no one tried to tell me I was making a mistake. Half hour later was driving home. Very happy all the way around. Purchased our car here and the service provided was mediocre. Now as for car service (oil change etc) the service is annoying. They’re all polite but when I have had an oil change scheduled over 2 weeks in advance I don’t like to hear that 1. The guy who does oil changes just went on lunch and 2. The oil filter needed they don’t have in stock so they have to go to another dealership for it.Y’all have had this appointment in the books for 2 weeks. Why not plan ahead?
My husband and I each leased a car. The cars are amazing and our salesman, Tyler, was amazing. Im not the easiest to work with and he handled my concerns, and frustrations, with grace. I will work with him again and I will also go to Elder Hyundai again in the future.
I received wonderful service and kindness dealing with problem and arriving 2;30 pm with no advance appointment. The manager assessed my problems, (replace the battery, replace spark plugs, power flush fuel system, (a special process called - - -?) I was out the door in just over an hour and honored me with a retired Army Veterans discount. Took time off of work to help my fiancé get an appraisal for her car. Worked with Andrew who was very unhelpful and didn’t seem to express a lot of interest in what we were looking for and was uncooperative overall with very little to say and didn’t contribute much to our conversations. It felt like he was being dishonest with what he did have to say and was a waste of our time. Ended up walking out. Would not recommend shopping here.Update:Tom reached out to my fiancé and I apologizing for the incident. He was very genuine and professional with how he handled it. He addressed our problems and told us they would be handled as well as being accommodating by offering us solutions to the problems that we faced during our visit. We are happy with how he handled the situation overall
The service team is amazing. My vechical is always ready for me in a timely manner. If a problem may come about with scheduling they go above and beyond to make sure customers leave happy. I appreciate there hard work and appreciate there kindness and open communication!
First off I have been here multiple times for repairs on my Hyundai Sonata and most recently to purchase a Genesis GV70 and they have been nothing but professional. They honored my 100,000 mile / 10 year warranty on my engine for the Sonata and I was even given a loaner car while it was being repaired. The sales person I dealt with name is Adam and the process with extremely smooth with Adam even willing to drop off my other car at my house to make things easier for me. Tom in service has always been professional with me and all the work I have had performed there has met my expectations (not easy). Do yourself a favor and go buy a quality car from these gentleman who still aren’t marking up cars past msrp price with the best warranty in the game. The Genesis is an absolutely beautiful car at an amazing price that makes heads turn daily.

We just bought the new Tucson and I have to say it beat my expectations for a car. We looked at many places and this car caught our eye from the beginning . Tyler is one of the best people around and works with you no matter how difficult it can get. He is the most genuine person and works his hardest to leave you feeling fully satisfied. Elder Hyundai Sales team is good and helpful. but Hyundai as a vehicle is not good. I had engine issues with my new 2022. Luckily service team were able to find right part from other new vehicle other wise I would have been out of vehicle for weeks right after buying a new one.
As of today, 2/17/2021, I leased a Hyundai Sonata N Line. This is the first new car Ive ever purchased. Originally, I had called their 586 number and spoke to a wonderful individual named Paula, whom held a managerial position over at their Troy location. She was patient, kind, personable, and tolerated all of my questions without a hint of irritation. Within moments, I had a test drive scheduled, and thanked her very much for her timeOn the day of my test drive, I met and spoke with my salesperson, Tyler Allor, whom had the amazing quality of being incredibly genuine. The ensuing conversation was concise, which I appreciated, but was also very warm and welcoming. We quickly decided on a Sonata SEL Plus, which I test drove with glowing review. There were certainly other questions, which Tyler weathered easily, and without protest.Of course, being an indecisive, impatient customer I am, had changed the date of the purchase on him, AND called him on his day off!! Not only did he retain his patience and willingness to help, but he even went a step above that and called me back after getting further clarification for me, as well as followed up with an email!I cannot recommend Elder Hyundai and their sales staff enough, most ESPECIALLY Tyler. The lease went smoothly, everything was in order, and all of my questions were handled with more patience than I think I deserved. You wont regret coming here. S-tier service. In the past I have purchased 3 Hyundai vehicles and have been satisfied with the quality and experience I received. This was my first purchase from Elder Hyundai and the process went smooth and timely and everyone was professional, friendly and accommodating. The whole experience was great!*Update* My Palisade was totaled unexpectedly so I came back in and upgraded to the Genesis GV80! Adam and George too great care of me. I think I’ll forever be in the Hyundai/Genesis family!
First of all let me tell you how much I shop cars...once every 8-10 years. I always have HATED the experience. I would not have even recently car shopped if it had not been for giving my car to my son whos car died.I shopped around becuase I was in sticker shock (not in the market in 10 years). I was pleased with what I baught, price wise and quality. For a small car payment I purchased a loaded Sonata. I was not able to find an inexpensive, high quality option close to Elder Hyundai! I am now a loyal customer.:)
This is by far the best dealership I have ever been to. Samantha was such a good sales rep. She was knowledgeable and patient with me through the entire buying process. The entire process was completely transparent and everything went smoothly. Lisa the finance manager was fantastic as well, and throughly explained everything to us so we knew what we were signing and why. Edit: And even two years later they are still taking good care of me. Finally was able to get a new car with affordable payments!! Morgan Z was knowledgeable and helpful through this whole process. Found really great car they had in there . Put down a deposit for it to wait until the weekend as my husband is a truck driver and is not at home until Saturday. Salesman Adam told us that there is no problem. Few days after, he leaves a voice mail stating that “somehow” they sold this vehicle to somebody else. Wow, this dealership is one of the worst! I don’t even know why do they offer to put deposit on a car if it doesn’t mean anything to them.
I scheduled a test drive on a Saturday. Shawn greeted me & he got Tom to introduce himself. Tom was very nice, wanted to give me the best bang for my buck! I never ever felt pushed to buy something expensive I didn’t need. Tom suggested I save the most money with the basic Tucson (I ended up with the Sport!)! Saturday was super busy, but Shawn gave me his full attention the entire time & made me his number one priority even though I told him to go help other people while I test drove - he did not. Shawn was AMAZING! I haven’t bought a car in 10 years & he made it so easy & stress free! He kept in contact & if he couldn’t answer his phone, he would respond right away. Shawn makes sure you are comfortable & at ease while making a huge purchase. Lisa was great - very thorough while signing everything & went over all of your warranty options. Very sufficient group at Elder. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I will always recommend Elder Hyundai & Shawn!
Brought my vehicle in with a recall concern a few weeks ago. They took a 10-15 min look at it with a flashlight and told me that it looked “safe enough to drive.” I recently had another dealership look at it and they removed the skid plate to which there was so much oil (caused by the valve leak recall) and my alternator was caked in oil as well. I’m really disappointed with Hyundai in general but I am extremely dissatisfied with how incredibly incompetent this place is. They will tell you anything you want to hear if it means they don’t have to actually take the time to inspect your vehicle to make sure it’s safe. Thanks for endangering my life & my vehicle! Will continue to tell others to stay clear of this place.
I received great service at Elder Hyundai. Making an appointment (even a weekend appointment) was easy. When I got there, Tom was personable, polite and very efficient. I was taken at my appointment time and the work was completed even quicker than originally stated.I was very impressed with the service and will certainly be back.Thank you Tom!
10 star services from Morgan in the sales dept. Needed to lease a car for my wife ASAP! We stopped in the dealership 30 min before the dealership closed, 30 minutes after closing my wife drove away very happy! Morgan gave us the terms we wanted and processed all the paperwork quickly and seamlessly. On top of that she made it fun. Best experience either one of us have had, and a great car, We recommend you see Morgan for your next purchase or lease.
Touch disappointed . Was told by Adam prior to purchase that my certified pre-owned car would have the 5 year / 60k miles bumper to bumper warranty reinstated. I had specifically asked it multiple times to make sure about it and got the same answer each time . After purchase I noticed that the warranty details specifically says that the warranty is only good for the remaining years. I understand that it could have been a honest mistake but when selling a car it would be nice if they studied the details properly before trying to sell the car . Otherwise the delivery to the house was nice. Also offering the customer a seat when trying to discuss the details before buying a car would be nice. I had to ask if we can sit down myself . Might be minor details but that’s just part of making a customer feel comfortableEdit : The message below from the so called manager Tom Sicheneder sounds very sweet by giving out his phone number and offering to address the concerns . In reality I called him couple of times and left him a voicemail but there was no call back from him . Instead he he had his sales representative call me and ask him why I was calling him multiple times when in fact I only called him twice in a week . The belittling of the customer even after technically selling the car with fraudulent claims about the cars warranty is something beyond me . I had given them 3 stars but after this sort of customer service I would rate 1/2 a star but I don’t have that option available.They even had the courage to hold my registration in ransom and told me they can overnight the registration if I change the google review to a 5 star.Also the so called certified car that they sold me showed a check engine light 1 week after buying it and needs a fuel injector cleaning
I purchased a Santa fe on Saturday it took less than 21/2 hours from the time I walked in the door until I drove it home. They took care of my leased car and everything. George did an awesome job, the whole team worked to make it a good experience. They did what they said they would with none of the bait and switch games that are so common anymore. All in all one of the best car buying experiences I have had in 50 plus years.On June 16th 2021 I had it serviced and the service department did not disappoint. From check in to completion was less than an hour, staff was helpful and pleasant. Thanks to all.
Pros: Beautiful show room; lots of vehicles to choose from; sales people are pretty friendly though not always knowledgeable about the newer product. Willing to work with you over the phone/online and deliver vehicle to you locallyCons: usually not willing to dealer locate or find you the vehicle you want. If its not on their lot, oh well.

The staff at Elder Hyundai are just wonderful! The service manager Tom Koslowski is the man he goes above and beyond to make sure his customers needs are met. Tom makes sure he keeps you informed of the progress of your vehicles service so you dont have to do the guessing game of I wonder whats the status of my cars service. Overall I highly recommend anyone who has a Hyundai/Genesis vehicle to get it serviced at Elder Hyundai.
Fantastic Customer Service! I called to purchase a 2020 Elantra. Elder did not have the specific color I wanted, they did a transfer and had the car for me next day. I dealt with Tom (Sales Manager) and George (Sales) and the whole process was kind, swift, and efficient. Was not sold on anything I did not need and Idid get a really fantastic deal. As my company grows and needs more vehicles, this will be where they are purchased from. These guys are the best!
The service is great and they are very knowledgeable. I trust everything they say. Only reason why this isnt a 5 is because it took me 1.5 hours to get a simple oil change. I didnt get my service quote till I was in the waiting room for almost an hour. I made an appointment too so its a little disappointing to wait this long for just an oil change.
Sept 23 2021 ; bought a newer used Elantra from Elder Hyundai. Salesperson *Adam Owen *was helpful, informative and not pushy for a sale. Upon sale said for me to see him if I have any problem or question relating electronic functions. 5 star rating. Sales manager *John Rohlig* was also helpful and not pushing a sale. He infact took time to explain the sales steps to my daughter who came to see how to buy a car from a dealership. Customer sales rep* Jennifer* for checking back with me. One for the product and one for the service dept.Ive owned 3 Hyundai elantras, two presently(2010 models). They have held up well over the last 10 years. I have just replaced both batteries with one needing to. They were very affordable and their drive train warranty 10yr/100,000 mile warranty sealed the deal. Ive just had both timing belts and water pumps replaced hopefully to get another 100,000 mi. Well see....I was ready to give a repair shop the timing belt job(hyundai parts included) on both but decided to see what the Service dept would charge. They came down to within 100.00 more than the repair shop and they got the job reason being they work on their own cars daily and know them inside out. Each job was completed same day. Thank you Service dept. Ill soon be looking for another for myself and will see how well i like the sales dept.( see above)
Great dealership, I dropped my vehicle off to get a few things repaired. Every service advisor was respectful, patient, and communication with Scott was constant coming from his end, I never had chase on the progress of my vehicle. I did not interact with the sales team although anytime they passed they greeted my daughter and I. Not impressed with the service department. Unfortunately, the Service Advisors are very rude, disgruntled, and dismissive when Ive called the Service Department asking questions about problems with my car and have tried to schedule appointments. Glad to take my business elsewhere!
Im increasingly impressed with this dealership. The service department is consistently fast, friendly and fair. I spent some time in the sales area while waiting for the car and enjoyed both the cars on display and the salesman - Alex. Alex is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and willing to quickly get the information if he isnt sure of something. Weve enjoyed having a Hyundai as our daily driver for the past 7 years. The ownership experience is greatly enhanced by having a local dealership of similar quality.
After having a really bad experience at the suburban Hyundai service center for my new car, we took it over to the Elder dealership. What a difference! This place was professional and did great work. We bought our car for the first time from dealership and we found the Elder Hyundai online. The guys are really amazing and so helpful. We went for the test drive with Charlie and finally we bought a 2017 Chevy Traverse from them. The car is in amazing condition, very clean, low mileage, without scratches. The paperwork was very fast, they did all the necessary jobs as S.O.S office, loan, new plate, etc. They have warranty packages for good prices! We highly recommend this dealership! I am giving this score because of Shawn Bush. He completely turned what could have been a disappointing situation to a wonderful experience times three. We purchased three cars from Shawn in a matter of a few weeks because of how he was willing to go above and beyond to help with my first car. He worked hard and stayed late to make sure we were taken care of completely. I will definitely come back to Elder because of Shawn and the service department! Thank you for my dream car too!
Quick service, kept me updated from the towing all the way until my car was ready to be picked up. Towing was covered through Hyundai and I even had a loaner to get me through the 3 days without my car. Everyone was great to work with and very patient with my questions!
Excellent staff. They read me and fulfilled my needs perfectly. Even got me in a newer model for less then my bottom line. Thank you especially to Alex and Lisa. My two buddies and I came in my Tesla. The statement is only here to establish credibility as serious buyers. Frankly its been frustrating that Im never taken seriously when coming into a dealership, probably because im in my mid 20s. This visit was no different as not a single employee payed us a visit, we didnt even get greeted. This is upsetting because my buddy is in a Hyundai now and is going to stick with the brand. After about an hour of sitting in the show room checking out cars and going through brochures we decided to leave and take our business to another Hyundai dealership.
I visited elder Hyundai on a Saturday in order to test drive a Veloster r spec and receive a quote. After waiting for 30 minutes in the showroom, a salesman finally showed up to let us take our test drive. I was in a rush so I took the test drive, left him all the information and he said that he would email me all the pricing information before the days over. After a week, I still hadn’t received anything so I called and I got through to a saleswoman, who then said that she would send me a new quote and that she was sorry for the inconvenience, and another week passed with no quote! So I called again, and the same thing happened. So In the end I never got a quote, and took my business elsewhere
This place is extremely dishonest! Researched a CERTIFIED used vehicle and went in to take it for a test drive. We really liked it and were preparing to make an offer pending mechanic inspection. The manager comes in and tells us sorry, this car isnt actually certified. The certification was one of the main factors in us liking this car. He offered us the $1850 extended warranty instead! Classic bait and switch and dishonest sales tactics. And guess what? This car is still listed as certified on the internet so some other unsuspecting customers will also fall prey to their dishonest and sneaky ways. Avoid this place.
Thanks for still accommodating my car maintenence (oil change) when I had something come up and was over an hour late for my scheduled appointment.And last time I used this dealer for service, I got great troubleshooting help with the controls inside (new car) so I didnt have to read the manual to figure it all out.Free (good) coffee, car wash, and snacks (with service) are a great touch, too.
Went in the other day for some touch up paint that they didnt have in stock so Steve went and ordered some and they had it within a few days. when I went back the next week Steve remembered who I was and had the paint I needed. it was cheap and he went out with me to my car and thoroughly explained how to apply the touch up in detail so I wouldnt mess it up. Great above and beyond service. dealt with them in the past and never had any complaints.
Shopped around for a Hyundai Palisade and couldn’t find a good deal until I called Elders. I worked with Julie Krumm, she’s patient and knowledgeable and great with our 1 year old. Tom the manager was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Elders if you’re shopping for a car!
I really like this dealership, Service Staff is friendly and they are always looking to go the extra mile.The only thing that I dont love about this dealership is that I cant place my service appointments through Blue Link, looks like this dealer is not part of the network, and that they also dont update CARFAX with the maintenance that is performed to the car, I know the keep the Hyundai site record updated, but when you look to sell your car everyone looks at CARFAX.Everything else is great and I truly recommend it.
I have been going to Elder Hyundai (Macomb MI) for maintenance service to my car for a few years now. I bought my Hyundai Elantra new in 2008 and it now has over 277,000 miles on it (yes, thats two hundred and seventy-seven thousand), so I take it in routinely for oil changes, check-ups, and whatever needs fixing. The service reps name is Scott and the Managers name is Tom. Scott and Tom are the Best! They are honest and serve with integrity and they make sure to give me all the necessary information I need to make an informed decision when it comes to repairs. Both of them have great people skills and provide excellent customer service. I feel that they sincerely care for their customers and treat their customers as they would want to be treated. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else!
Avoid this place if you can. All they want is your money!! I bought a used Tacoma and purchased an extended warranty at the time. I decided to cancel the warranty and the dealership gave me the run around for over two months about my refund. I dealt with Lisa (financing manager) who failed to respond to my numerous calls and emails. I even attempted to call Rob, the General Manager, but still have yet to hear from him to this day. I finally got fed up with getting ignored and after a month and a half I decided to show up at the dealership and to see the look on Lisas face was shocking to say the least. I experienced a lack of communication and dishonesty from Lisa every time I attempted to ask for a phone number of who to contact about my refund when Lisa said she had no clue of its whereabouts. She put blame on the accounting department numerous times, but refused to give us a contact number for them. I finally got my check, but she made it so much more complicated than it needed to be.
I bought my car few weeks ago at Elder Hyundai, i am very picky person and i have lots of questions, i went to at least 10 dealership and looked at every 3 row SUV, i was leaning toward Hyundai palisade, Subaru ascent, ford explorer. After visiting couple of Hyundai dealerships ( southfield, and livonia), i almost gave up on Hyundai, because of how uninterested where the dealers to sell the car.I stopped by chance at the Elder Hyundai, and spoke to George ( his last name was short i believe Lis ) he went above and beyond to answer every questions that i asked and the ones i didnt, very professional and knowledgeable. After talking to him, my decision was easy, his manager Tom was just as awsome. The whole experience was great.The car is awsome so far and i absolutely love it. i am glad that i made the right decision, if you are looking for Hyundai, i would definitely recommend this place.

Bought my Sonata from Elder Hyundai. The entire process was quick and painless. I test drove and got numbers on a Friday. Picked up my new car on Saturday morning. The sales and finance team were great and werent pushy at all. I also dealt with the parts department for some wheel locks, very friendly and offered additional literature on accessories.
My wife and I went into the dealership today upon a friends recommendation, fairly certain as to what we wanted. Without any hesitation, Shawn handed us the keys to a trim level above what we wanted... for a price just a hair above the model we were initially thinking of. When we wanted some time to think it through, Shawn told us to go home and think about it--no high-pressure sales tactics here. We looked at another dealership for all of twenty minutes before turning around and buying our new Tucson. The price was a steal, the service was good, and there was absolutely zero pressure to buy, to finance, or add extras to the car. At the end of everything, our final price was even lower than our quoted price. I would definitely buy my next car from this dealer.
Dont go unless you want a new car that has a ton of issues with no one to assist in the matter. They will go back and forth (management and corporate), not claim responsibility for selling a new car with a DEFECT, and not compensate for the issues they sold you with. We went all the way to corporate and they did nothing. Imagine if I was on an accident due to the brake lines being taped and passed inspection. THIS CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NEW. This is the first and last time I will ever pruchase a huyndai. Buy any other brand of car if you dont want problems they didnt check at the factories (mind you this isnt a model issue, just my car so it can happend to anyone at anytime since apparently they dont double check the brakelines before sending them off to be sold). Waste of time, waste of money, and waste of energy.Want more issues? The battery died not even a year later! Had to call the operator to send someone to jump the batteries because apparently this happens a lot to these cars thats what I was told by the tow operator.This has NEVER happened with all the other vehicles I own. This is the fist out of 7 vehicles that I have had to jump and some of my cars are 5-7 years old. I wouldnt even slap my business logo on this car because it might cause something else to break. So if you want a car with manufacture issues before your first oil change, battery issues, no customer support, and all the time in the world to go back around in circles then by all means buy a Hyundai.Even buying a used car wouldve been better than what I got stuck with.
Got my car in for a service along with multi point inspection. Sadly they somehow managed to miss that the battery is out. I had to stall in the middle of nowhere to realize that I needed a new battery. Not something I expect from a place I just spent a few hundred dollars to tell me what is wrong with my car.Not the type of service you expect for a Genesis.
All around horrible experience. Was looking to lease a new Hyundai and contacted them. The sales guy was nice but not knowledgeable at all. He never followed up or even offered to find a vehicle that had what I was looking for. When I turned in my lease I called and was told I HAD to come between 10-4 because there was only one person who handles it and that they had to do a vehicle inspection. When I arrived they just asked for the keys. When I dared to ask for a receipt of the turn in I was told I had to wait because his phone was charging. Luckily I am done with them and will not be back
By far the best service experience I have had at any dealership (Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, Subaru, I’ve been to my fair share). The service manager Tom Koslowski was who I worked with, he definitely went above my expectations, I actually felt like a valued customer here. This dealership’s service department is exactly how Hyundai should be modeling all of their dealerships! I’ll definitely only be taking my car here!
So I can only talk about the service and I have to say Scott with service was wonderful. I have bought a vehicle from different location and have many issues with service department. Came here and got honest feedback instead of inconsistent answers. Honestly I have had issues with car and thinking of trading for a new one because of honesty. All because I am just about done with all the problem with current car which seems to be a fluke. Thanks Scott and Elder Hyundai for your honest approach and help. I have not gotten this from other dealers.

2022-05-19Sami Rayis and Elder Hyundai are excellent to work with. I was searching for a Tucson Hybrid Limited, which are nearly impossible to get right now. After contacting every Hyundai dealership in Southeast Michigan multiple times with no luck, Sami called me on his day off as soon as he found out Elder would be getting a few Tucson Hybrid Limiteds in 6-8 weeks time. I checked back in with the other dealerships and they said it had to be a mistake.Not only did Sami get me the car I wanted, there were no additional costs. The other dealerships will tack on a few thousand dollars for unnecessary things like extra VIN# stamps on the doors, or a special spray coating for the seats. I was skeptical when Sami told me I would not be paying anything over MSRP, but when it came time to make the purchase, everything was just as he said. I didnt have a lot of trust in car dealerships, but Elder threw me for a surprise. I cant stress enough how important that honesty and clarity was for me.When we made the purchase Sami spent a good hour and a half with me and my family going over every detail of the car, taking us through all of its features, and making sure we understood everything about the process, despite staying well after the dealership closed. We really appreciated how personable, knowledgeable, and helpful Sami was. And even though it has been a week since we finished the sale, Sami is still in contact with me, making himself available if I need anything or if any questions come up.I would highly recommend this dealership and particularly Sami Rayis. My family and I will be returning and future customers.

2022-02-14Just recently purchased a brand new vehicle from Elder Hyundai. Samanatha S. helped me and explained everything from the features of the car to the cost breakdown of the car. Being a college graduate and unsure how the process works, Samantha made it easy and was 100% honest with me and didn’t drop any extra fees at the end. She was honest and they also beat out other dealerships for the best price after doing my research. Lots of dealerships are taking advantage of the market and it’s customers, but this dealership cares more about the customer. If you are looking for great service and honest salespeople go here.
