We ordered the Baileigh RM-40 ring roller on Monday, the gentleman that I dealt with said it would ship on Wednesday. We actually got the machine on Wednesday. Very fast shipping and the machine was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition.
I purchased a Laguna WB Sander from Keith @ Elite Metal Tools. I came across Elite Metal Tools in a general search. I am grateful for having found them. They offered (one of) the sander(s) I was looking to buy & at a price that I thought was a joke or at least not updated. It was a current offer and one that could not be denied; Bought it.Elite is in the same world you are in so if there are shipping delays; everybody gets a little piece of the pie. I had to wait 7 months - all in all that gave me time to conduct business and get the shop ready for the addition.This Laguna WB Was Well Worth the Wait, an awesome machine.Elite Metal Tools kept me apprised of the supply situation and additionally responded quickly when I inquired. The Sander was shipped in solidly made open framed crate requiring saws to dismantle. The crating and pallet (& Machine) were unscathed, like they came from next door when I know it came from around the world. This was packaged in a manner I would pack a commission to be shipped and must be received as made - Perfect. The Machine set up was seamless. The machine came calibrated and required no additional adjustments.The freight company Elite Metal Tools used is a company I have used (ODFL), and I believe they are in the top 10% so its received condition was consistent with my experience.The choice to buy this Laguna sander is a big win for me and the fact I found Elite Metal tools to buy it from makes it a Win-Win for me and I hope a big win for EMT as I know without doubt who will getting my machine purchases in the future.EVERYBODY sells tools - Elite Metal Tools sells Exceptional Customer Service in addition to a tool/machine at prices not easily matched. One of the best customer service experience Ive had in my life. The table saw I ordered was back ordered. They promptly offered to refund my purchase. I decided to wait and did well as everything was back ordered everywhere else anyway due to Covid. They provided updates on my order status from time to time until I finally got the great news my item had shipped. I will definitely shop at Elite again and strongly recommend them.

We ordered the Ellis 2000 Mitre Band Saw for our new shop. The first saw we received was damaged. However, we believe the damage came from the freight carrier. We reported the damage right away, and got a new replacement saw in less than two weeks. The new saw is a dream! The customer service was excellent, very professional and on top of things. I have attached a picture of one of our guys un-crating the saw. You can tell the time and effort they took crating it, and strapping it down so that it was secured for shipping. We at Palmetto Iron are very happy customers!

They seem great until they get their money. I was told a couple weeks turn around that turned into 6 weeks due to cargo ships. I was never told of the delay or even when the machine was shipped. The item was missing features I confirmed were included before even ordering the machine. Cosen had removed the feature but lied to make the sale. My options are return the item and waste all that time or just deal with what I got and get a discount that wont even come close to helping add the feature I wanted.

I have been searching for a good jointer that would not break the bank for a few months. I settled on the Grizzly Helical head parallelogram model. But it has been difficult to find a company that provided the cost/helpful service/quick delivery time/etc.So I was going to settle on a shop fox dovetail/spiral head model that a dealer has available locally. I decided to make one last search on line and found Elite Metal tools. Not only did Kurt provide excellent service and knowledge, but the recommended Grizzly was $300 cheaper than the shop fox dovetail model.He guaranteed that I would have the machine by the following Wednesday. After hearing about many shipping problems as of late, I didnt feel his promise was possible.Yet, at 9:30 Wednesday morning I had the machine in my shop! The crating was well done. Im as happy as I could be with my recent order experience with Elite.1) Available on the phone, responsive and courteous2) Excellent pricing3) Product was in inventory4) Delivery was very fast, even for a 420 lb. machine by truck6) The product had no damage at all when received7) So Elite was great but not happy with Jet Tools and the way they advertise their products. When a Horizontal-/Vertical-cutting metal bandsaw requires a major amount of work and time to convert it to the vertical cutting mode plus then need re-adjustments, the advertising should not just say it cuts both ways, implying that you can just simply do either/or. Far from a simple change one way or the other.

After ordering a tool online I received an email that I needed to pay an additional $178 in tax. Not a problem - I paid the Paypal link they sent for that. I then received a Paypal refund for that amount. I called to ask why. Apparently I can only pay using wire transfer or check. Last year I when I made a $3,000 purchase with them it declined our debit card (it had a $2,500 per day limit). Despite getting that limit raised with our bank they will now only let us purchase using a wire transfer.Also, zero communication from them on why until I called them. Just a cancelled order on a tool I was waiting on.
Once you factor in the free shipping (which is a HUGE saving for machinery),they have the best prices around. Hands down.Also, when you call, theyve got real humans who speak english picking up the phone right away. Lots of great woodworking machinery. Weve ordered 3 machines from them so far, and its always been 100% positive. My go-to place for machinery now.

The experience with Elite Metal Tools was easy. They where accommodating and informative about the equipment I wanted. Also, made good suggestions for my needs and any accessories that would be useful in the future. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need. The current emails are keep me up to date with tools that I could use and dont have time to go shop for.
So far dealing with Elite Tools has been a very pleasant experience. Not only were they courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly but they were also the lowest price out of the 5 or 6 companies that I called. I was given a very detailed estimate which was followed up with emails whenever necessary. I have not received the actual product yet but so far I would have zero reservations about doing business with them again. Also I would recommend them to anyone looking to order machinery. You are going to get a very fair price with great customer service. If need be I will up date this review. But I have no doubt if anything comes up with shipping the will handle it without issue.
This company is far superior to any that I have had contact with.. I just purchased three tools and working on the fourth one.. The customer support was next to none. They had manufactures reps call me to discuss options, answer questions and followed up to make sure I was happy with all questions answered. They are on the top of my list of vendors to use.. Delivery was into my separate garage which I was pleased that the driver was ok and had the proper pallet lift equipment. I ran into an issue where the motor-belt adjustment screw had to be drilled out by 1/32 inch so the provided 1/2 inch dia. cap screw would fit and ultimately mate with the motor mounting female threads. I had a drill press and 17/32 inch drill bit handy. Once I got the motor mounted, everything went together smoothly without having to make any further adjustments. Table, fence and band was square so easy to begin re-sawing with a new Laguna 1 inch carbide 158 inch band. Now I need a low noise dust collector to buy with 1000 cfm minimum performance
Ordered jointer/planer from Elite metal tools. Arrived well packaged and on schedule. Talking to the sales team was easy and their prices were by for the best (even cheaper than direct from manufacturer when accounting for shipping).
Once they get your money you can’t get a hold of them. We bought a Jet saw and it’s nothing more than a paperweight...tried dealing with the manufacturer but the techs they sent out don’t have a clue - they had to replace the motor but still can’t get it running & only refer me back to Elite but they just keep passing the buck back and forth...typical salespeople...maybe they should start selling used cars as well...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!Unless you don’t mind a $7300 paperweight...
After a LOT of research, I decided to go with Elite. The staff was first rate and the prices were the best to be had.The shipping was free and the machines ALL arrived is top condition.I will continue to work with Elite for my metalworking tools.I cannot stress the amount of research I did before beginning my purchases - and Elite came out on top.

I recently placed a order for a Jet Belt/Disc Sander with Scott Van Dyke and the process went very well till the machine came in badly damaged. Wow, was I disappointed. When I got ahold of him and relayed what happened he got the replacement process started right away. Working with his contacts at Jet things went very well and in a short time I received my new machine. This is a good group of people to work with, when I was calling and checking on the process if he was busy one of the other guys checked for me and I was kept in the loop the whole time. I purchased an Ellis model 1600 horizontal bandsaw through Elite Metal Tools recently.My son had the same saw he purchased from Elite...I used it once and had to have one for myself. I absolutely love this saw!When my bandsaw arrived, the adjustment thumbscrew was missing. I contacted Matt Wisniewski (The Wiz) at Elite Metal Tools customer service, and he shipped me the part immediately.Service like that definitely makes me a customer for life!
Terrible service. Purchased an overpriced MM24 thru them and it arrived damaged. It was the worst packing job I have ever encountered in over 40 years of shipments. Getting replacement parts has been a nightmare and I have encountered finger pointing between the Manufacturer (SCM) and Elite Metal Tools. Neither company responds to multiple emails and it was only when I finally resorted to filing a claim with my CC company that I even received 1 of the multiple parts that were damaged. And of course they sent the wrong part and have not responded to emails notifying them. Currently waiting for them to pickup the broken Bandsaw. I have already purchased another brand. Dont deal with Elite Metal Tools or SCMIN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY: As you are already aware, the package exhibited zero damage on the exterior when it arrived here. It was inspected on the same day it arrived and you were notified THAT SAME DAY that it was damaged. This was most likely due to the fact that YOU repackaged it prior to it being delivered here. According to SCM there was plastic wrap and boards added (which you also admitted to doing prior to it being shipped here). I believe at this point you repackaged it in order to conceal the damage. In any case, you sent a switch that didnt fit (this was after a long delay), then you sent a switch, that while it fit it did not fix the problem. The bandsaw was tested and it still does not work. I believe the entire switch mechanism to be ruined. There are other parts too that were damaged, of which you are already aware, and they have still not been replaced. So even IF the switch had worked, the Bandsaw could not be used safely. I had even offered to accept used parts that were pulled off another new machine that was in stock but that was ignored. You have failed to respond to my last email and so has SCM.

I purchased a Mechanical Transplanter CT-4 Christmas Tree Planter roughly a month ago and feel Ive been let down on every level by Elite Metal. The product arrived un-assembled and with no instructions. The only instruction provided was a blow up parts diagram for a different model planter. Outside of that, once it was all put together we couldnt get the wheels to stay down while the plow was in the ground unless we added 150lb + of weight to the rear where the bucket holder is. The actual tree planters worked about 50% of the time, sometimes not releasing the Christmas trees and getting hung up in the gears.Further after reaching out to Elite Metal regarding my experience I havent heard back from them and its been over a month. I was really looking forward to using this machine, however overall I feel like I was let down on every level including quality, performance, and customer service. I cannot recommend this product.
We are loving the Clausing Kalamazoo MS1318SA bandsaw. This equipment keeps up with the high demand of material to be processed with true cuts. Great saw all the way around and love the wash down feature. I would highly recommend to any Fabrication shop that needs steel cut with true squareness!!

Weve purchased a Baleigh tube bender & Ellis bandsaw from Elite in the past 2 years. Pricing is always competitive, support is great, & we received both machines ahead of schedule.
I recently purchased this Jang JPH-2 Two Row Tractor Mounted Seeder Mechanical Transplanter, and to my dismay the sales rep. Scott Boss did not help us with our questions and issues concerning the blank seed roller we did NOT request. We had asked what are 2 rollers that customers normally use for planting corn and/ or beans, but we only received a roller for corn and a blank seed roller we did not request. [I have screenshots of the emails.] We have had many connections with businesses like Eden brothers, Harris seeds, burpees, Johnny seeds, Woodward crossings, rain flo irrigation, king irrigation & they all have always provided exceptional customer service and no extra fees for the issues made on their behalf. He did not cooperate with me even though I had spent 2300 on the mechanical transplanter and try to fix the inconvenience he caused sending us the blank seed roller when we asked for his professional opinion on what seed rollers customers tend to use for planting corn and beans, because we have never used this type of machine. There is zero flexibility even though even though I had asked one question regarding the blank seed roller, he seems as though he hates his job or is obligated to do it because he is not willing to work with his customers and in the end we are not reviewing this for a $20 seed roller we are just trying to help people know who they would be purchasing from. And he also threatened us with a billed restocking fee, but on the Website for replacement and returns I cannot find where the restocking fee is nor anywhere else on the website, So how would I be able to see it before making the purchase or after I now have made the purchase. And if this review is taken down I will make more reviews on Facebook and videos on YouTube.

I purchased a shaper with a feeder a couple of years ago. As I was installing the feeder I discovered that I was missing the knuckle that mounts to the feeder to attach it to the stand.Elite metals sales rep informed me that it was Laguna’s problem and I had to deal with them.( in California ) after several weeks of frustrating phone calls with a rep that had no clue what I was talking about, I finally received the knuckle. However, upon attaching the feeder to the stand, the knuckle was designed to attach to a larger stand. Back to calling the clueless rep at Laguna. After a couple of months of calls I finally received the correct stand. MINUS THE HORIZONTAL ARM THE THE FEEDER ATTACHES TO! After more calls, and never receiving the part, I had a friend who owns a machine shop make an adapter to attach it to the smaller stand. At least now I can use it.My advice! Find somewhere other than elite metal to buy equipment and stay away from Laguna.Steven Gray

2022-05-14I have no problem with Elite Metal Tools, but I do with the Powermatic 2244 drum sander. I was a professional cabinetmaker/ mill work business owner for 40 years. I know how to use various machines and can recognize their limits.I am recently retired but have a small, personal wood shop. After a lot of research on drum sanders, I decided to go for the Gold Standard and pay the premium price for the Powermatic. By all accounts, it seemed to be the best machine.After months of waiting, I finally received the machine and was very anxious to put it to work on my latest project. I had glued up some red oak shelves (very flat and even) 1-1/2 x 18 x 84 and wanted to just touch them up with the sander.I could not get the boards to run through without stopping, gouging and wash boarding. I tried adjusting the pressure rollers, changing grits, slowing down the feed, tickling the head down and having a helper pull while I pushed. NO SUCCESS! (tech support was no help either)I had to take the boards to a shop with a wide belt sander and have them cleaned up to the tune of $150. This is exactly why I bought the machine - to get a professional sanded finish in my own shop.Needless to say, I would not recommend this sander. If you have whatever board, panel or door to finish sand, you risk ruining your hard work.

2022-07-12This was my 2nd purchase through Elite Metal, both experiences were excellent. On this purchase, I had some damaged shipments from the manufacturer and I felt Elite Metal was an amazing advocate for me, contacting and coordinating with the manufacturer to quickly replace the damaged parts. I would absolutely recommend Elite Metal and will purchase from them again.

2021-11-16Purchased a $32k grizzly belt sander (G0487) machine from elite metal tools and was not told that I needed a separate large vacuum duct that is essential to using this machine. It’s and extra $480 that should never be sold separately. When I called elite metal tools to complain, the individual working for elite metal tools hung up on me. Horrible customer service and horrible sales in not explaining that this part (which is essential) was extra. Will not be using this company again for any future machine purchases!!!!

2022-06-08We prepaid for a machine months ago and were promised the machine in 4-5 weeks since we did that. It has been over 9 weeks and we just were notified it would be another 4 weeks. We based our order and prepayment on delivery. Now I call and am told time and again they will get back to me that day and I never hear from them again.

2022-06-28The JPH-U 2 seeder is a wonderful tool to add to my ever growing collection of attachments for my garden and business. With the correct seed disk added to this makes back breaking work a thing of the past. When I can plant with precision and not have to skip a beat is great! Will buy more units to add to the attachment at a later date.

2022-02-03Money was sent for a 0416E bending roll. Friendly staff (Keith) until their money was received. I was told the item was in stock and it was listed in stock on the quote and invoice. I was also told that shipping conformation would follow via email next business day. Never received conformation so I called and spoke to salesman 3 times and customer service 1 time. Each time he said he could not get in touch with the supplier/manufacturer from CA and he would call me within the day once he reaches them. Never received a follow up call. Then was told the wire transfer has not gone through from Elite Metal Tools to manufacture after 5 business days (domestic wire transfer). Keep in mind Elite Metal Tools has my money. Long story short, I threatened with legal action and was hung up on. Shortly I received a call and said everything was ready to go on Elite Metal Tools end. What a joke! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ELITE METAL TOOLS unless you want to be lied to continuously with no clue as to when paid for equipment will be received. Salesman never remembered any conversations between us over the phone, and stated he has a lot to do daily. Dont we all buddy!

2022-02-01Elite Metals provided a good price on the equipment we purchased from them. The purchase was made with the contingency the product would be delivered prior to the first of the year.There was no follow-up by Eltie Metal once we made the purchase. The product arrived around the 14th of January, two weeks after it was promised.Now I understand things happen but there was no effort at all by Elite Metal to provide us information on the location of the product once they gave it to a shipper after January 1 came and went. No one at Elite Metal cared or even followed up with us or made an attempt to contact the shipper. I probably had to make 10 phone calls to track the shipment along the way. Several calls were to Elite Metal but once they sold the product the feeling I got was they could care less if we ever received the product.If you find a better price elsewhere and they provide good customer service I would likely go with that company.While Elite Metal stated they have no control over delivery after they hand the product over to a shipper, they should make an effort to select a shipper who can deliver the product based on the schedule they promised the customer. They made NO effort to do this or follow-up with me or the shipper. They should have at least called me with updates. Not only did they not do this it was evident they didn’t care when I called them.Again, once they sell the product there is no evidence they care about the customer. All you have to do is look at their response to me. “It’s not our fault!”
