We had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE at Ellis Funeral Home for my Queens services. Ever step of the way we were comforted in knowing that we were in good hands. Our loved one at 90 yrs looked incredible, the services and coordination was beyond what we anticipated. We have worked with many grieving families being in the obituary printing business, but being on the other side of the fence... Ellis Funeral Home(Specifically Mrs. Ellis) completely made us comfortable with our decision to utilize their services. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Ellis Funeral Home for professional, comforting, services at your time of Need! In my familys opinion, there is no other experience worse than a death, but when it is handled with Love and Respect it makes the transition easier! Thank You Mr. & Mrs. Ellis!

When you lose a love one you entrust the love, care and professionalism of the funeral home to offer the best customer service. Not at Ellis Memorial they should be put on blast for how they treat people especially Sylvia Ellis. Sylvia you should be ashamed of yourself, you have no class, very unprofessional, absolutely no empathy. and very heartless. You are truly in the wrong business.

I Want To Say The Service From Ellis Funeral Home Was The Worst Experience I Have Ever Encountered. Sylvia Ellis Who We Delt With Treated Our Family Like A Dog We Have Over 50 Years With The Ellis Family, But The Wife Sylvia Doesnt Need To Be Dealing With The Public, She Spoke To Us Any Kind Of Way, Which Is Why We Cancel Our Service. We Went Where We Could Get Real Customer Service For A Grieving Family. Sylvia Ellis Needs To Be FIRED And Their Service Is 0

I would highly recommend. When my grandfather passed away it took months to get ahold of his insurance policy and it was a frustrating and difficult time for my twin and I. But Mrs. Ellis was more than helpful. We made several phones and constant trips to the funeral until everything had fallen into place us for the day we all been waiting for . She even helped me with the grieving process. And I couldn’t thank her enough .. and grandfather looked amazing.

I drove my in-laws down for a service and it was cut short to rush to the cemetery to sit and wait. I have been to Detroit for many services but have never experienced this. Very uncalled for. The family is already grieving and to do them like this is HEARTLESS.

I had heard from my family out of state that the Funeral Director and others at this establishment were unwelcoming and unprofessional. However, I just called to ask a few questions and the man who answered the phone was absolutely unapproachable. I’m so sad that my family member is at this funeral home.
