I had all my documents to get a car and he kept turning me away, he looked at all my very private information that was not needed for a car and told me i wasn’t able to get one. I came back with more documents to see if that would work and he continued to say it’s not enough. i’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this enterprise. On top of everything we chose our car when we got there and he said he would hold it for us and gave it up to a hispanic lady which I felt very neglected and felt as though he was racist because he had also turned away another colored guy while a black man was sitting in the waiting area already for an hour. If you read the reviews you can clearly see he helped all hispanic and non colored LOL.

Im told it be 15 to 20 minutes. Well hour later the car still is not ready. Im now late for my appointment. I dont understand if you set a appointment and are very specific on the time frame you need the car. To be promised that yes that will work then have that time go by much later. What is the point of making a time specific appointment. Very dissatisfied . I would understand if I just walked in and having to wait but I did this a day in advance. Next time I will try somewhere else.

Comment: For the past decade, I rented cars from enterprise, including branches at the airport, and this location was by far the Worst branch I have ever worked with.They gave me a car that had No gas. The arrow bar was literally at the letter E.My first course of action after getting a rental car should Not be going to the gas station.The company policy is to return the car in the state you get it, which makes sense. But if a previous customer returned the vehicle with no gas, shouldnt the branch fill it with 1-2 gallons of gas to demonstrate some decent customer service? Furthermore, the car said it can go another 40 miles. So I used the restroom and was trying to get to the gas station. However, when I returned, the car would not move.When I contacted the branch, the manager picked up, and he was incredibly condescending and indifferent. They said the 40 mile notice is an “estimate” that should not have been trusted. So apparently, “40 miles” warning means that the car will not be drivable.Even when I was picking up the car, they were claiming to be in the lunch rush hour and said it would take an hr for me to pick up the car. Apparently, 5 people in the lobby is considered “rush.” Furthermore, a warning for this “lunch rush” would have been nice as well. If this “lunch rush” is so bad that someone 5-7th in line need to wait an hr to get a car After getting the paperwork processed, shouldn’t the branch at least Try to find a way around it?Because of the lack of warning even after multiple phone calls, I had to miss an appointment that I waited weeks for.While I was at this location, waiting, there was Another customer complaining to the manager. She seemed very upset and the manager was indifferent.And apparently, this man has awards for customer service from enterprise.I encountered far better employees who were actually courteous compared to this man. This award thing was definitely rigged.I never had this kind of customer service with enterprise before, and strongly recommend people to go elsewhere.

Comment: Illegal and Dishonest Business Practices - I rented a car from this location for approx. 3 weeks. I returned the vehicle with more gas in the vehicle than it had when I received it. Due the fact the vehicle was rented through my insurance policy, I had to wait for my insurance company to extend my coverage date before they could close the transaction, which my adjuster did the following Monday. The man I returned the vehicle to stated he would contact me prior to charging my card. I never received a call but noticed the charge on my account. I contacted the location and requested my receipt. Upon reviewing the receipt I noticed they had charged me for gas. I called the location and explained that I had returned the vehicle with more gas than it had when I received it. The man who answered the phone laughed at me and said the transaction was closed and there was nothing he could do. I asked for the Corporate office phone number and he laughed again and provided the number. I have left multiple messages for the corporate office with no return call. At this point, I am filing formal complaints with the FTC and the DOT. Do yourself a favor and find an honest business that deserves your money.

I’ve utilized their courtesy shuttle to pick me up and take me home since I’m relatively close. Getting to chat with the driver is always my favorite part. They don’t have tons of cars to choose from, but that’s not really a problem for me for why I’m getting a rental car. I will definitely rent from them again the next time I need to rent a car.

Comment: I come to this location often because its close to my house, usually its a pretty decent experience, depending on who you have to deal with. This last time I came in I had a reservation, I came in early and all, they didnt have a car ready for the type of car I was trying to rent, so they asked if I could wait 15 minutes. 15 minutes turned into to almost 35 minutes, the person who was helping me, she was actually really great, her name was Key. She had to help other customers, but kept letting the other people inside no that I was waiting for a car. Even though she kept letting them no, they did not do anything to help just continued to take other people who didnt have reservations and, also asked them did they want another options when their cars were not available. I eventually had to ask for my self do I need a different car since noone though to ask me instead of just having me stand around. Thank you Key I appreciate you! She still ended up coming back in and getting me into another car

Comment: This is the worst branch Ive ever seen of a car rental business. I returned its rental car on 9/8/22 and one week later now Im still waiting for my receipt. Calling the branch many times from day one, chatting with agents on its website everyday still doesnt work. The manager at the branch seems dont care about customers concerns. He even recognized me over the phone, knew that I had to go abroad after returning the rental, knew that I need the receipt as soon as possible to submit to my car insurance to get reimbursed, but he still does nothing. It looks like they deliberately punish me this way since I dropped off the rental at my collision shop for them to pick up instead of returning it myself at the branch in person. Anyway they treat me like dirt when I needed their business and I had no option since they are the only car rental contracted by my car insurance.

I paid them the day i dropped of the car and i still keep getting emails from them saying that i owe them money. And on top of that, they overcharged me for gas. As a first timer, this has been the most horrible experience i’ve ever had with anyone. If you can, please avoid them.

I questioned the agent and then gave them two contacts and he responded that wasn’t so hard after all was it. Car drive like it was falling apart from 40 to 60 mph steering wheel was shaking when accelerating. Tried to add a driver in SoCal and the Enterprise there said they couldn’t pull up my account, so I had to drive the whole trip which was very tiring.

I saw that it had changed when I looked up my rental in the app. I called Enterprise and was assured that the original return location I had chosen was still my return location. I was assured it had not changed. Then on the day of return I discovered by surprise that my return location HAD been changed--NO ONE INFORMED ME. The new location was super inconvenient. I had to walk an extra mile in the rain to get back to the place where I was staying-- a huge waste of my time.

This year our destination was leaving Sacramento, California for Portland, Oregon, Seattle Washington, Bend, Oregon then back to California.The first leg of our trip California to Oregon we had problems with the breaks. When we reached Portland, we went directly to Enterprise. We explained our problem (rear breaks). The ladies could not apologize enough. First they made sure we were okay, then quickly replaced our car even helping out moving our luggage from one vehicle to the other.When we retured to California we told Enterprise what happened and why they were getting an Oregon. Again they wanted to make sure we were fine. They apologized for our inconvenience, and we were given a comp day of rental and insurance for 2 drivers.Yes, we will use Enterprise again for our Moms Day get away!

The insurance approved an intermediate car, Enterprise brought me a Chevy Silverado, I suppose because noone else wanted it. Im 5 feet tall. The vehicle burns so much gas and is difficult to find parking. I inquired several times that day for Enterprise to find me an SUV. Pedro seemed to not want to accommodate me. I called the next day, after I received approval for the insurance company. Pedro tells me they have no SUVs - runs my name, and calls me back (after learning I have been approved for an SUV). I asked when its available - he says should be there by the time I drive there (15 minutes). I get there, its not there. He tells me a speal that its in the shop and on its way. Offers me another SUV. I said no Ill wait for the Nissan. He gives the other SUV to another customer. After 45 minutes, I get the SUV Im waiting for and its black, 2016 model, with thousands of paint chips all over the front and scratches all over. I complain. Pedro basically says too bad - and proceeds to say it shouldnt matter, youre not paying for it, the insurance is. So let me get this right, because someone (Insurance) other than myself is paying for the vehicle, I dont deserve to drive around in a newer - less scratched up vehicle? I was completed flabbergasted. I asked him to call me for a newer SUV once he had it. I had the 2016 chipped up SUV for over a week, and Pedro not once called to provide me with anything better.

Comment: I was having body work done on my car so I had to get a rental. When my car was finished, I was told I could drop the rental off at the body shop and Enterprise would pick it up as they were right down the street. I filled the rental up at the gas station right before dropping it off at the body shop, which was only about a half mile away from the gas station. When I parked the car, I took a picture of the gas gauge and odometer before I got out. When I got the return confirmation from Enterprise, I was charged for 3 gallons of gas! At first I thought that the body shop may have driven it before calling Enterprise but then I saw the time that it was returned. The time stamp on the photo was 2:52 pm and the return time was 3:41 pm. Theres no way the car was down 3 gallons of gas in less than an hour. Also, I had to wait at the body shop for at least a half hour while they finished cleaning my car, and the rental was still there when I left. Strangely enough, the mileage difference that Enterprise reports is 201 miles but the difference between the starting mileage and the one on the picture is 177 miles. Even still, 24 miles would have barely moved the needle, let alone used 3 gallons of gas! I talked to Pedro about it and told him I had a picture. He said that they would refund the charge, but I have yet to see it refunded.

Comment: Due to a most peculiar set of circumstances, the likes of which could only happen it a place like California, the necessity of repeated car rentals has been thrust upon us...to the tune of up to a dozen or so a year...even adding the price of a rental to each time we go to buy groceries. Even in such a circumstance, the service provided by Enterprise Rent-A-Car has proven reliably to be a bright spot. It seems that no matter when a reservation order is made, they are always able to meet the need. The ride service is especially helpful for people like us who have been stripped several times of our own wheels and finally left under virtual house arrest. There is an irony connected to the pick-up service in that several years ago, when one of us provided our own ride to the agency and were invited to leave our car overnight on premises, a break-in of the car left us out much more than the price of the rental...including for the replacement of door and ignition locks just to get our own car back home. We especially like the weekend special feature as it allows us to more safely take care of business in a calmer, safer way than rushing through a single day rental. We only wish the rate for weekend had not been increased. We are appreciative as well for the increased flexibility that Enterprise now offers regarding car pickups and drop-offs. Well do I remember being stranded years ago at an Enterprise agency, at night, in a not-so-safe-feeling area of south Baltimore. Yikes. So, do we recommend Enterprise? You betcha!Oh, and we forgot to mention-- The agency which, with others, has done so much to make our lives a bit easier and more mobile, is the one on Power Inn Road, in Sacramento (city), California.

I live 40 min away from the closest one. They are not open on the weekend. Had to pay for the policy through the weekend and the Monday. They need to inspect the vehicle before you can cancel. Why would I cancel coverage if the vehicle was damaged. They said it was for my benefit. That is a lie. They got an extra 60$ out me. Seems like its more for there benefit.

Comment: I was in an out within 20 mins. Tanya was great. I was running late and called to let them know. They understood and even let me dropped the car off at a location even closer to my home. Thank you Enterprise!!

Comment: Ridiculous. I had to wait for my car. Said itll be 40 to 45 min wait...its been over an hour and the car still hasnt arrived. I rented before and it was fine the car was on time but today no they were behind on getting everyone out the cars they rented...whats the point of doing it online to get it for that time when they dont even follow through with that. This is ridiculous and very irresponsible of them to do things last minute. Money is being wasted on a car that I dont even have yet. Im still paying the same amount that Im renting it for but I already lost an hour or so into it when I dont even have the car yet.

Comment: I have rented cars from this location numerous times without any issues. Under the leadership of Manager Jason I have noticed a vast improvement in customer relations. Jason is a hands on manager involved in every aspect of the rental process. Nice to see a manager not just sitting behind desk. In addition, employees are professional including drivers Dan and Mike. Keep up the good work.
