Comment: I have used enterprise on multiple occasions including Alamo. This was the most disappointing location I’ve ever used. There was no customers there checking in or checking out so we were the only ones in the office when we walked in. It took about 10 minutes to get spoken to and checked in and had to wait twenty minutes for a car. There were MANY cars available but they gave me the one that appeared to have just returned. The inside smelled like urine. I had to run to the store and get air fresheners and Lysol. The outside was so dirty. We asked the manager if it was washed and he said no we didn’t have time and he only has one guy working there. We let him know it was so dirty he said it would take 20 minutes to wash or we can go get the car washed on our own. (I wasn’t taking time away from my vacation to get a car wash) We agreed to wait. We get the car back and it looked like the hose went over it once. It was given to us so dirty. The woman who checked us in was sooo nasty and the customer service aspect of this location really disappointed us. I wish I had gone to a different location. I have been trying to contact them for a few days now and no answer. I was overcharged by $17 and unsure why. I’m in Oxnard often and will never use this location again

This is the second time that I’ve rented with them and they are quick, fast, efficient, and the car that was in an accident that was being fixed was an electric car of mine so they upgraded me to a SUV hybrid at no extra charge, which helped out tremendously since I drive from Ventura to LA four days a week for work. And she had really cool shoes ;) Thanks guys for making my 30 day rental a great stress free one !

Comment: If you need a fun weekend planned, have a car emergency or just want to see how a car can drive you need to know Amr. It was a breath of fresh air to work with them. I was having a transmission issue and they helped me every set of the way. They were understanding, helpful and genuinely cared about how I was. The company is lucky to have Amr and I hope he is treated like he is valued. Great customer service is hard to find now a days but Amr is a true gem

Comment: Ive been renting most of my out of town trips through enterprise, and so far everything has been so smooth transactions. And superb service. I did run into an issue once from a diffent branch office but they resolve it. If you think the vehicle they gave you has an issue dont leave the lot and ask for a replacement. Good thing their agent replace it right away. Their office down at the auto center and Victoria so far has an awesome service no issue so far. The only thing i want to address to the management is its been a few times the vehicles thats been given to me that is dirty from the exterior, but clean interior. Service has been good.

Comment: Booked a standard SUV, but was given a KIA Sedona, which threw me off at first because it was a little bigger than expected. However, the car blew me away! Really nice handling + great pick-up. Also got the Garmin GPS. Together they made my trip much easier than I had anticipated since my friend in NoCal lives in a very confusing area to get to. Got a pick-up + drop-off. The service couldnt be better. Very happy with this and my 3 prior rentals!!! Just wish the company would keep its opinions out of politics...Rented again in 8/23: The staff at the Oxnard Auto Center is great, from the reps at the counter to the pick-up drivers, excellent service!!! They are always able to accomodate my special requests.

Comment: Be aware of them....They had a scam...I had an accident and the insurance company rented a car through them...They asked me for a credit card to verify my identity. When I returned this car, they told me no charge but after a week I found they charged my credit card $100. I called the manager of that location his name is Matt Brux and he said they charge my card and I can not do anything !! They are involved in the fraud. I reported them to my credit card company and disputed their scam.

Also, allowing me to simply leave the car at the collision place when my car was ready was very convenient.One thing I would look for next time would be a quicker check-out time once I got to Enterprise. Comment: I rented from Enterprise during this whole COVID-19 Pandemic, I appreciated that they were able to give me a vehicle during such a last minute situation. However, when I left I noticed the car needed an oil change, which on their part is probably not a good thing, quite irresponsible for the wellness of the vehicle and the customer especially during a state emergency. I also noticed they did not take the proper precautions for government regulations once I dropped off the car when it comes to cleaning the vehicle, as they were looking to rent it to another customer after me and they also didn’t consider that I had just mentioned that the oil change requirement was necessary, yet they were looking to rent it right away to the next person. I did my part and left the car clean, and left a sanitation wipe for the next person who would be renting the vehicle. I also filled up the tank a little bit more than how they gave me the car and they don’t offer any compensation for the additional gas I put in the car. I rented a Cherokee Jeep. Good and bad, but I probably won’t be renting from the again as they aren’t exactly considerate when it comes to health precautions and some government regulations. Hope this helps better your business model and overall service. Thanks for being flexible during a Pandemic, but seriously consider taking better care for the sake of the community.

I can appreciate the change as far as social distancing however the service is distant and cold. When I rented before if I went over a day they would take it out of the deposit when I turned in the car. Now they just charge my card instantly without even confirming with me. Comment: Have been going to this locations for years. Not just I rent a car but family members as well. Why a 4 instead of a 5 . . . Because the place is great they got what you want and at the end you end up leaving with a rental. Unfortunately 4 because some employees attitude and always asking for different things every time when checking out a car. Last year was my car insurance even when I get their insurance they still required mine. Previous year was a house bill after I have rented car their previous years asked for new things. When I get a phone call they tell me what I need to rent but always never inform me on other stuff till Im their at their location renting a car. A little of a headache dont you think. Well hope those employees can get better training and make things clear next time they call asking for new requirements.

Comment: Ive been renting cars from enterprise for various years. Due to repairs to my current vehicle, I had to rent a car from enterprise. I figured no problem, they are always nice. This time, the experience was horrendous. The check-out process was simple and clean as usual, the guy got the paperwork, keys etc and we went to check out the car. He did a extreme simple check of the car, anything from the wheels up and just showed me the current gas in the tank. First bad thing about the visit is that being an older gent, I cant bend down and check underneath due to bad knees. Next, my check out receipt was never given to me, to make matters worst, no email was even asked from me to email aforementioned receipt. The outside of the car seemed clean and upkept. Inside was dirty and reeked of cigarette/cigar smoke, dried grass EVERYWHERE. Upon return, the individual who checked in the car accused me of damaging the car, spoke to her supervisor who attacked me, further accusing me of damaging the car stating I remember checking that car in and quoted me for damage when the car was idle for 95% of my rental. The manager didnt even want to listen to my story as he defended his crew saying the rude woman was his assistant manager and knew her stuff.

Suite B Oxnard, Ca 93036 I booked online and was having trouble with date selection therefore I contacted the Oxnard branch directly to assist. A woman answered the call & verified my rental which is through my insurance department under a car manufacturer warranty. I specifically requested if Enterprise Oxnard was available to pick me up about 2 miles away or if I should contact a Lyft/Uber. The representative said she would send someone to pick me up from the mechanic and took the pick up location address & asked if she could place me on a brief hold. I waited 19 minutes on hold before Bailey-a Manager got on the line. By this point I was in the Lyft that I paid for and enroute. Once I arrived, Bailey was rude, condescending and had an uncomfortable attitude while explaining she couldn’t rent to me using the insurance claim & needed several hundred dollars for a 2 day rental, despite the online quoted price being $86.00. She then went on to pressure me for additional information and further inconsistencies, inconvenienced my entire evening. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her level of customer service and irritability after waiting for over 20 minutes on hold only to be told of a policy that was unfamiliar to me as I rented using my corporate account before at the other branch that was 10 minutes away without issue. She didn’t like my response and handed me my card refusing to rent to me but offered to give me a ride to my next destination. I asked that she take me to the other branch where I was able to rent without issue. I returned to the Oxnard location to speak with a different manager as I felt discriminated against and dissatisfied with the service I had received from Bailey at the Oxnard location. As I walked in the door before I could make my request, another employee whom wasn’t present previously notified me he was on the phone with the police department as I was trespassing. I asked how that was the case when I am a customer and drove there in the car I rented from the location they sent me to. He went on to say after I returned this rental I’d never be able to rent for any Enterprise ever stating “ I have my staff back!” This employee was posturing towards me in an aggressive manor and threatening to call law enforcement on me as if I was a criminal. I left feeling very insulted, discriminated against and ended up missing my flight to a very important engagement. I’ve never felt so undervalued as a paying customer. I would like to file a discrimination complaint against the manager and the regional manger who were covert racist and used bullying tactics to force me into an uncomfortable position. They added that they do not provide pick ups in the area they left me stranded and waiting despite telling me over the phone they were going to be picking me up. I’ve received rides before from this location so I know this isn’t the case.I spoke to the Regional Manager and he made matters worse and wanted me to walk to Hertz rental car after business hours in a sketchy neighborhood instead of helping. I requested to speak to who is over Regional at the corporate level or higher & was re- routed to Tim who was the worst!I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN!!!FROM THE MULTIPLE NEGATIVE REVIEWS PLUS THE UBER DRIVER STATEMENT OF PRIOR CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS ITS OBVIOUS ENTERPRISE IS NOT WORRH IT.

Comment: I have been renting cars from Enterprise for over 10 years and usually go to the same office. My experiences with this location has been by far the most pleasant, from the managers & staff to the rentals, so Ive continued to chose this office over and over again. My most current rental has probably been the most disgusting overall. I was late picking up my rental, but prior to arriving at the office which was less than 10 minutes, I called to be sure there was one available. I already know if you dont schedule an early pick up, the chances of a vehicle being available is slim, reason for my call to the office prior to heading there. The customer rep I spoke with (I didnt get a name because I was in a hurry) assured me there were cars available. I arrived to the office and Im pretty sure the same customer rep I spoke with on the phone was the one who helped me out as she was the only female in the office at the time and from past experiences, its usually staffed with a handful of customer reps and it had only been about 10 minutes, but its only an assumption, I could be wrong. When I got there, the rep told me there were no cars available at the moment, didnt give any options of getting another car from another location, nothing. Luckily, there was another customer returning a vehicle who overheard my conversation with the rep and so it was available to take. The exterior of the vehicle was dirty, definitely needed to be washed. I did a quick scan of the inside and it seemed ok, nothing left behind and no food/drinks, spills. I took the vehicle through the car wash at Costco and did a wipe down of the interior (usual routine) when I got home before loading our suitcases. It was then when I discovered how disgusting the seats were. Someone had their monthly accident in the back seat and apparent it was newly soiled. I could tell they attempted to clean it but it wasnt enough. I had spray with a disinfectant, put down plastic over the back seats and then a towel over the plastic AND spray Febreeze. I did it with the front seats as well. Not something I typically do when I reserve a rental. In any other case, I would have returned the vehicle to swap it out as Ive done in the past, but I was already running behind schedule, time did not permit and what were the chances of a vehicle being available? When I returned the rental, the same rep greeted me outside. She was very pleasant (both when I picked up the vehicle and dropped it off) but from my opinion, her demeanor was very rehearsed. I get it, its pretty much the same routine when customers come in to pick up and drop off. I let her know the situation, she apologized but I could tell she wasnt really listening. She was hearing me but not listening and realizing how unhappy I was. I really didnt want to stay much longer than I was, I got a few apologies and a thank you, have a great day. This experience wont keep me from choosing this location but Im sure if Im not happy with the next rental, I definitely will not return to this Enterprise and will have to find another office to rent from. Its an unfortunate situation to say the least.

Asked to speak to manager and she was extremely rude making things up. Wanted 4 references a credit and debit card and was trying to educate me on how to rent a vehicle not knowing I have rented many and even refer my business customers to them. After I gave her everything she requested she became upset that I stopped her from lecturing me.Went over to Avis rental was in and out within 15 min with no reservation and did not ask for major credit card, references, or try to lecture me like a child. This is the way it should be. Stay away from them or at least the branch in Oxnard.

Comment: WOW. The worst Enterprise and the worst service I have experienced hands down from anywhere. Called for a pick up, THREE different times, took them 1hr 50min to get me... I was 7 min away. They weren’t that busy so I don’t understand what was going on. Representative was totally quiet in the car, no talking or apologies for the incredible wait. The “free upgrade” car they were going to give me was not cleaned AT ALL, they didn’t even try or seem to care, or again, try to explain the situation or apologize for the state of the vehicle. There were also other cars on the lot so it’s not like they were hurting for vehicles. Inside the car was disgusting, and as soon as the representative walked away and I sat in it, I was hit with the strongest PEE smell you could imagine, and I have a bad nose. I walked back in and asked if they had a car that didn’t wreak of pee! They swapped me out, again no apologies or anything, to another vehicle that was ALSO not cleaned in or out. I just wanted to get out of there so I took it and left. Worst experience all around and I’ve been to a LOT of rental agencies. Enterprise should be embarrassed that this branch has their name attached to it.

Left our car at the autobody shop and enterprise picked us up to go get our rental. The car was pretty dusty on the outside, but clean on the inside and we got a free upgrade, so not a big deal.Unfortunately, we went to drop off the car today on a Saturday and discovered this site closes at 1pm. Totally our fault, we should have called 1st or asked if possible to be dropped off to pick up our car after returning the rental. Good experience and we would definitely rent from enterprise again. Comment: Reserving the vehicle was fairly simple. Very quick and easy steps. Once we got there the paper was fast and very comfortable, the staff was nice and polite. The only criticism about the whole rental was that they had just given our vehicle to a person that had walked in with no reservation. They told us that we would have to go North to the next city to pick up the vehicle. I really wanted to leave from the location in Oxnard just because it was right off the freeway and on our way to our destination. Traffic was very heavy going towards the direction of the other rental place. Luckily they were nice enough to go pick it up for us and bring it to us. The vehicle was great. It was clean and was exactly what we needed for our trip. Drop off was simple just had to place the key in a drop box. Overall I was pleased with the processes.

The one young lady that drove me to the dealership knew the area very well. Comment: While the staff at this location were all quite friendly, I was disappointed in the inconsistencies with my rate as well as inventory availability upon my arrival to the branch. The staff were unable to efficiently reference and resolve rate differentials without exorbitant time dedication to resolution. I spent a lot of time lobbying for myself with respect to my original rate and had to escalate to a manager upon pick up as well as when I was extending my rental return due to illness.Additionally, after spending 20 minutes discussing the rate concerns, I was told there was no onsite inventory available for my reservation (I had reserved 11 days prior). There was no explanation provided and it seemed as if this were a common occurrence. I was driven to an alternate location which was challenging due to its location and traffic congestion. I chose to delay my departure for my destination based on what became a 2 hour unexpected change in plans.There just didn’t seem to be a process by which original rates could be referenced. Upon arrival for pick up, I was quoted $88 more in my rental than my original quote. I spent quite a bit of time addressing this and ‘proving’ via screenshots that I had indeed been quoted $211 for this timeframe. I am still unsure of the reasoning behind the differential. When I called to extend the rental by 2 days, I was quoted a rate that more than doubled my rental amount. I spent almost 45 minutes with the branch in discerning why they would upcharge me so severely rather than work with me to obtain the best rate possible to retain the car a few extra days.Again, everyone at this branch was pleasant. I just spent far too much time attempting to retain my original rate and was competing with a ‘system’ versus discussing with a person.

Comment: Unfortunately I have had a few bad experiences at the various Enterprise locations in Ventura, Oxnard, and Port Hueneme. This experience had ne extremely frustrated from start to finish. It was mostly about cutting into my time. I reserved an economy/compact online, saw that it was located at the furthest location from where I wanted to pick up, but it was also the lowest price. I booked it. On date and time of pick up, I had a coworker drive me over. At location, I was told we only have a Ford pickup truck. Want it! This is where Enterprise started cutting into my time. I had a 6 hour drive ahead of me, and was not expecting a delay. I said no, absolutely not. Im not paying for the fuel on a truck since I am driving far. They had zero vehicles available for the class I reserved. I ended up being sent back to the location closest to me from the start, and upon pick up, the fuel tank was near empty. Right at 1/8. I was heated. I didnt complain on the spot, due to already being 40 minutes behind my time. Then I had to grab bags at home, fill the car up, start driving, only to realize that this was the first Enterprise vehicle I had that did not have cruise control. I was beyond upset. The cruise control thing was just bad luck. All in all, I was 90 minutes behind schedule, missed the meeting I had up in the bay, and stayed mad upon turn in of the vehicle a couple days later. The tank had actually been filled over an 1/8 of a tank, and I do not believe I was compensated for that. Each time I keep saying Im done renting from Enterprise, and each time I keep coming back. Im done now.

She needs attitude correction. She was entitled, gave me 1 word answers that led to know answer! Two, after taking the survey I requested a call from this enterprise location to clarify as to why you have not refunded the $200 deposit but when they called me back she explained that she’s calling mainly due to my survey answers. So my question is not relevant then?Advice, focus on listening not so much passive aggressive talking. If you are in sales, I don’t see a reason why you should give a customer attitude when the customer is friendly. There shouldn’t be a reason at all. Be mindful of how you represent yourself and just think how’d you’d act if your boss was around! Unfortunately, you all need to be micromanaged!

Comment: Assumptive sales practice. Adding items on without consumers consent. Once you question them on it. The atmosphere of the room changes. From friendly to pissed off. The sales agent no longer wants to chat. She gathers her things and escorts you out to the vehicle and declares if you dont want the item then just decline it on the form. But enterprise will come after you. I wasnt given the opportunity to know what the items are. I rented the vehicle online for 380.00 but you are swiping my card for 986.00 what is calculating the difference. Her response became snippy, Well its insurance for all five days. Insurance? i have full coverage insurance why would i need that? show me what wld change my rental aggreement from 380 to 986.00 well as i said you can decline. And i will just swipe the card for 880.00 that is still a 500.00 difference. I will decline but i rented the vehicle for 380 help me understand why the huge gap. Well after taxes your rental will only be 421.00 ok so with the declining of the insurance and what ever else was added it will only be 421.00? Correct.she said but my card was still swiped for 880.00 so i called the corporate office and question if i decline to full insurance and add ons wld you u generally swipe it for this amount. No if it was a debit card the max amount is 200.00 above the rental cost but its fully refundable. So i called the store back and asked to speak to the manager. LINDSEY (who was also standing there during my check out experience. when i questioned her associate what the difference was ) so i explained that i just spoke to the corporate office and i need to understand why my card was still swiped for 880 as if i were taking the insurance when i clearly declined she said thats general practice even though we declined they still swipe it for full amount . I explained i spoke to corporate office and it was explained that only 200.00 above the rental shld have been collected. Instead of explaining why the 880 was collected she just said i can credit the difference. I said that wld be great but im trying to understand why this happen she said this was a regional set guideline. Hmmm. I think there are some unethical practices occurring at this location and it is being taught from manager down. The corporate office prides themselve on customer service but that is far from what i received.

Comment: My experience was great. Did the initial ordering from my tablet, the next day they came and picked me up right on time. They went out of their way to accommodate me. The whole bunch appeared to be a happy group of people. Will certainly use enterprise next time.

Comment: I LOVE ENTERPRISE! We used it everywhere we go. I was recently disappointed with the rewards programs though. No one told us that the points expired in 6 months, so for almost 2 years we lost a lot of rewards that we earned from renting. I even asked the rep at our local office and they didnt even know that. DONT FORGET TO REDEEM YOUR POINTS WITHIN 6 MONTHS! Almost perfect star!

Comment: Ive been using the Oxnard location off Ventura Blvd for a couple years now and all the employees there are super friendly and helpful. As a regular customer both for work and personally, they always go out of their way to make sure Im happy with the vehicle and if not, make it up to me on my next visit. I appreciate the professionalism of their college grads and always look forward to driving different vehicles. I use to rent at the Oxnard Airport and got slammed with all the airport fees they automatically tack on.

Comment: Well I rented a car last September, the person who helped asked for my drivers license and the credit card. So, I handed all to the person. He looked at it then asked me again for my drivers license. (seems this person is not aware of the new drivers license) and I responded, you are holding my drivers license already and he looked again and responded with a serious look, you looked good here! Just like telling that indirectly that Im ugly now! I think you need to hire a person who is people person and polite. Its a very sarcastic response that I dont like! Even his co-worker was shocked to his word he said. Better teach this person to smile, and polite to the customer.And I found out also your branch here has a few selection of cars. But, I would like to say thank you to the person who picked me up and gave me a ride home. Both of them has good character. I gave them a high five! GOD bless!

Comment: Called to get a car for our 22 yr old son that needed something while his car was repaired. was quoted 23.00 a day. my son is now paying 43.00 after all the extra fees!!!! they even charge a young driver fee!!!! PISSED! looking elsewhere so we can turn this car in.

Comment: I went in this morning trying to rent a truck. I have used Enterprise many times in the past and have never been treated like this before. The man who took care of me was very disrespectful to the point of making me very upset. He continually asked me if I wanted to purchase insurance, after which I had already stated that I had sufficient Insurance coverage. At the end he told me that he is required to ask the customer if they want insurance until he gets 3 Nos! what kind of aggressive pushy salespeople is this company hiring? I felt like he was literally harassing me and demanding that I get the insurance. I will never go there again, I canceled my contract and left feeling like my time was wasted on this character! I wish I would have read the previous review and I would have not wasted my time. Also, why is the contract being done in the parking lot? it should have been taken care of in the office. So the manager could have witnessed his conduct!

Comment: Do NOT rent from this place. They practice under-handed practices of adding insurance without the renters acknowledgement. They use a sneaky initial here and here, tactic quite speedy to get you out, but the ones with bigger surprises are the customers coming back to pay at least 23 dollars a day extra for retarded insurance, pretty sure werent explain well during the signing process. Dont be surprised when some other ridiculous charges are applied as well. Remove the insurance, due to extended service maintenance and watch the bipolar employees come out. They intimidate with hostility and show their true colors.

Comment: Cars are always dirty, never have the car reserved, wont send a shuttle from another nearby location (within about 3 miles) when the closer location does not have a car available. This is just one of those weird situations where the family owned structure is inferior to dealing with a corporation.

Comment: The car was great ... would have liked a choice of cars to rent. I was helped out right away by Cameron (I believe was his name, forgive me if that is not correct!!) He was very cheerful for such an early time. I had a reservation for 730am!The vehicle was very dirty & he even went out to vaccum it in his suit while my daughter & I waited. But it definitely needed a good wipe down of the interior & some air freshener. My biggest complaint was that the gas tank was on empty ... I mean REALLY empty ... the gas light was on when I got in the vehicle. He did ask me if I wanted to wait while they went to fuel up or if I wanted to take it like that. I opted to fuel it up myself since I was hoping to get on the road as early as possible. But when I saw the fuel light was on I was worried that it wouldnt even make it to the gas station!! Really put a damper on my morning!! You would think they would check on these type of things especially since I had a reservation in place for serval days.I rent from Enterprise at least once a year sometimes more & I always return because they are great!! Just wish they would take a look @ the vehicles before the client is standing there to make sure they are up to par!!Thanks Cameron!!
