Comment: The service was good. They did take a while to get me a car but I understand that because it was busy. The only problem I had was that the interior of the car was pretty dirty, the cloth seats were stained and it had a weird unpleasant smell inside. I really wouldnt have mind if they took a little more time in cleaning the seats. I planned on using the car more but I couldnt really tolerate the smell and I only drove 21 miles on the car. I was given a credit of $30 but now I know next time I will try to push for a cleaner car because at the end of the day Im also paying for quality service.

Comment: I was treated like a second class customer even though my company and I have long standing relationships with enterprise.I was renting a company vehicle and I was treated with suspicion at multiple points throughout the process. Several other customers were helped in front of me.It was smelly in the small waiting room where they kept me with many other people for a long time while they helped them in front of me and kept me waiting for unknown confirmation processes that no other enterprise location has asked me for.

Comment: Joseph was awesome. I rented an SUV and while waiting for it to be washed and dried, he let me know what else was already available and showed me a minivan that surpassed my needs. While the SUV would have been great, the ride height was not idea for my elderly passengers. The minivan with its big sliding doors and easy access made it so my passengers had an easier time with the rental than all vehicles my family owns while also having the needed cargo capacity of an SUV.Joseph - thank you for the suggestion and showing me all the features on the van. I liked the vehicle so much I am considering buying myself a minivan.

We ended up with a larger vehicle at a $10/day surcharge although that was reduced from $25/day. Is this an upsell technique? Stephanie was very courteous and helpful and did try to find a smaller vehicle for us at other lots.

Montebello office gave me a car that needed maintenance that I had to return which was an inconvenience however, Alhambra office I believe the gentleman name was Diego who made it all good. Also, I was quoted one price and came out to more when I returned.

Comment: The service here is great! I called to see if I can adjust the pick up time of the rental by a few hours and Jacky, the representative, was amazing. The modification was simple. I was afraid I was going to get charged more but Jacky clearly explained the charges and how its broken down by time. The pick up was slower than expected on a Thursday afternoon, but drop off was smooth. In and out of the rental location in less than 15 mins. I have to applaud the customer service in this place. Jacky was welcoming and provided high quality customer service.

Only reason I didn’t rate this a full 5 was because the person before me probably took the car off-roading and got a bunch of fine dirt in most of the molds of the car. Therefor anytime the car was wet or washed it would end up getting as dirty again due to the dirt stuck in the molds and windows. And the car needed an oil change from the moment I picked it up. But other than that enterprise went above and beyond to service my needs to the best of their ability

Comment: My experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Montebello/Monterey Park branch is poor due to the car needing a oil change & the car was making clacking sound when braking to a complete stop. The customer service was great in the beginning but it was poor when I need a personal item that I left the rental but they lack communication to keep me inform of retrieving my personal item.On Jan. 21st, 2022: Enterprise Rental had replied to my review saying they will someone contact me about my customer service that I received.On Jan. 27th, 2022: I still didnt receive any communication from Enterprise Rental about my experience & sent another email. They replied that someone for sure will contact me.Feb. 6th, 2022: No reply to this day. Enterprise Rental doesnt care about the renters safety or their business with them.

Comment: They rent vehicles with expired registration, and when you call as they police tell you to they try to say well how do I know what you got pulled over for. Well I was at a red light and had two people in the vehicle. Did I mention I was four hours away as well. Then lied in the phone about the registration too. No accountability. I’ll update when corporate responds. Use to be great service and vehicles. Now they’re dirty cars with issues. Two rentals in a row and they don’t take the reporting issue less than a month a part with good customer service. Thankful police didn’t impound vehicle. Sad. Be careful.

Comment: Worst Enterprise. I hate leaving bad reviews Im the time of person that tips 20% even when I get bad service. At this enterprise branch They only know how to do the bare minimum. They try to charge you extra. They make you make reservations online if you walk in and then they dont have the car you reserved online. Customer service lacks. Long wait time when there is only one customer ahead of you. Ive been to this location at least 6 times and there is always an issue. The Enterprise on south Brand in Glendale is 5 stars.

Reservation, was for a small car, ironically they had no small cars and I had to pay an upgrade fee. Very disappointed.Everyone at Enterprise is friendly and helpful. They make renting a car easy and convenient. Juan the manager is always there to answer questions or assist when needed. Location is easy to find and they have several vehicles to chose from, although I recommend a reservation to get the vehicle you want.

Comment: Seriously Terrible ExperienceLet me start off by saying I have rented a lot with enterprise (Gold member), In different cities and states. This location along with the Pico Rivera location are by far the WORST I have ever been to.My experience started off poorly when the Van I picked up was dirty (No Clean Pledge, No Steering cover like at literally every other location) I mentioned this to the agent helping and she shrugged and said it was cleaned. Upon entering the vehicle not only was it still visibly dirty but it had a terrible smell. I mentioned this again and she just said sorry, Im not sure but it was just cleaned... Why not sinply go clean the vehicle again I was in NO rush. I took the vehicle out of necessity and cleaned it at my home with my own products. I went back to start another rental, in which I was given an SUV once again uncleaned and this time the man helping me stated there was nothing they could do about it, seriously? NOTHING? Again I took it out of necessity. In my final rental I started (3 new rentals at this point over span of 2 weeks at same location) I was given a PickUp Truck, Again NO pledge, no cover, and DIRTY. This would not have been acceptable Pre Pandemic and it DEFINITELY is not acceptable during the pandemic!They did not make me feel safe nor cared for! I Reached out to the CARE team who informed me the Regional would reach out to me and I guess The REGIONAL does NOT CARE because I have yet to be contacted!Seriously lf you want rude service along with a dirty vehicle, then by all means this is the place! I rarely write bad reviews and give the benefit of the doubt but this place was just beyond terrible! Will never ever return to this location, Guess Ill need to branch out to surrounding cities to get a better experience.

Comment: I arrived at the store location prior to its opening so I was the first in line. Customer service personnel and their interaction was pleasant but the overall service in acquiring a vehicle was a comedy of errors i.e. the location did not have a vehicle type I had ordered over a week earlier in my reservation, they tried to place me into a sedan (I had ordered a compact SUV) they ten said they did not have the vehicle I reserved and asked if they could upgrade me to a full size SUV, I agreed and then multiple people began running around and they told me they could not find the keys. After waiting to see what they did next they came to me and said a vehicle was coming from another location and to wait. 45 minutes later a vehicle arrived, the individual handling this transaction gave me the quick speech, handed me the keys and made a point of telling me that no animals were allowed in the vehicle because Enterprise went through a vigorous cleaning and if they had to do a deep cleaning for pet hair I would be charged $75 additional. well when I got home and folded down the seats to load some boxes there was white dog hair on the back of the seats (so much for the vigorous cleaning).The vehicle was new and performed satisfactorily for its class.When I returned the vehicle (First one there again) there was a wait and when I asked if I could get a ride home (1/2 a mile) the staff member told me I would have to wait, when I asked how long she said she didnt know, I said if I walked home it would take me 15-20 minutes and if it took longer that 5 minutes I would start walking. immediately the store Manager came out to give me a ride home, I assume he heard I was not happy with the service on the way he asked what my concerns were and after I told him it was the customer service he said What can I do so you will give us a 5 rating I asked like what for example and he responded with a future upgrade I said thank you but no thank you (How about something now rather than the future which who knows may never come to pass). My rental was over $230 dollars for 3 days which included $60+ in insurance.I have rented a vehicles from your organization several times before and I have never been frustrated with your personnels customer service and planning before, I have never rented from this location prior.If I can make suggestions 1. Have the inventory on had for your current reservations, 2 Customer service should be organized and deal with clients one at a time not multiple clients at the same time and appear that you dont know what to do next and 3. Most importantly do not make assumptions or Lie to clients because they will not trust you moving forward.As I previously stated the vehicle was satisfactory for its class, if I could have rated this survey as a 2.5 I would have, hence the 3.0Thank you for the time to comment on your service I hope you appreciate the comments/suggestions and the time and frustration I felt reliving the experience.

Comment: I recently rented a car from enterprise kept it for 7days, but tried taking the car back the evening before . The asst manager told me that I would be paying the full 7days, to keep it till the following day and since I had returned the car early the only refund I would receive is for the insurance I was paying on the car which was around $40 . It was close to closing and she said if I just bring the car in the morning that she would still refund the full day of insurance charge. When I mentioned this while returning the car I was told I had the car the full length of the contract so I will stillPay that insurance even though I was told by the asst. manager she would waiver the fee .THAT WAS A FLAT OUT LIE! I will not be giving enterprise rent a car in Monterey Park off Pomona blvd. My business again ! No integrity!

Comment: Enterprise makes it easy to come back and rent a vehicle. The only issue i had was i reserved a vehicle about a month in advance. I completely understand with the whole Covid going on that they had to close the branch i am closest too. The issue was when I reserved the vehicle the email stated I would be receiving a call a few/couple days before my reservation date to to verify. Well couple days before i havent received anything. Now if the branch I was going through was open i probably would have been ok with out the phone call acknowledging my reservation. Got to the one in Pico Rivera and read the sign its closed etc. I called the number and was informed i would have to go to Monterey Park. Just a simple phone call or email with that information would have been good. A heads up that one location is closed. Other than that Ill continue to rent vehicles from Enterprise. The vehicle was clean. They have good prices.

Arrive at Downey and see that it is closed and sends me to Monterey Park. Arrive at Monterey Park and they tell me they have a car available until 10:30am and that my reservation was actually sent to Cerritos. Made it sound like it was my fault since i booked so late as they are supposed to verify the reservation but were obviously closed. I get that, but it is now 9:35am and they have yet to call/email me to confirm anything. Anywhose, work on communicating that information with customers. Also, rent with AVIS/Budget they are cheaper. Although their current hours of operation are limited, which is why I decided to try Enterprise in the first place.

My rental process was smooth, quick and my car was in mint condition, interior and exterior. The price of the rental was also very good. I did a on-line search for best rates and Enterprise took it! Also, create a on-line account and you can get points for rentals and use those points when you have earned enough and use them on your rental.

Arrived the next day at the location only to be told they didnt have a luxury car on site and that if I wanted a luxury car Id need to book at least 24hrs in advance . Now I understand if I was booking a Tesla or Mercedes CL500 theyd have to borrow them from a different branch as these cars fall under elite category but even luxury class isnt available at your branch? When you book luxury class online it doesnt mention anything about a minimum time to book. Its the second time Enterprise does that to me. So enterprise : If you dont have even a luxury car on site then dont offer it online or at least state on your web site that even luxury as well as elite require a minimum time to book before the check out date. We drove the truck to Las Vegas, and unfortunately, because of the heat, the smell was very strong and gross. I really do believe the person who rented it before us definitely smoked in the car. Its a shame because it is such a beautiful truck. I called the branch to let them know and I also sent a text to the Branch Manager - to let him know about the cigarette smell. I clearly told him there was a scratch on the vehicle before I left the lot, I had the car for less than a week. I went back and returned the truck the same way I left with it, with the scratch. All of a sudden SERGIO doesnt know what I was talking about. He said he remembers seeing the scratch but it wasnt that deep??? How interesting is that? Enterprise is known to do these type of things. My suggestion is if you guys go to this location, please DO NOT DEAL WITH SERGIO. HE PRETENDS TO BE ALL FRIENDLY BUT ITS ALL FAKE. Comment: Worst rental expierence ever! Showed up at 430 to drop my vehicle. Richard manager on duty had me waiting for thirty minutes before helping me and another 40 minutes before setting up a shuttle to the body shop at this point the body shop is closed. I asked if he can extend the rental he said no because it was closed out. I said can the shuttle take me home, he said no its policy to be within the city. Mind you they gave me a ride two weeks before. So they set up to drop me off at a closed enterprise in a city closer to my address. So now I have to prepare to walk 4 miles home. Richard at this point was rude and not concerned with me the customer. Absolutely no empathy. While I was waiting I noticed he was not attentive or polite to customers in lobby or on the phone calling. Completely unprofessional. Worst feeling and expierence I’ve had with a rental company. luckily the manager on training that was giving me a ride in the shuttle was willing to give me a ride all the way home. Thank you ms. Besides that I also didn’t like the fact that the car that I rented was one of the only cars available at it was damaged and stained. make sure you point out all the flaws before renting, Richard mentioned that they were not going to pursue for damages on vehicle, I was like why would you vehicle was already stained and scratched when I got it. I was sure to have them notate it when I got it. The way he made that remark made me feel as if they blame damage that was previously there on the customer. Never again will I rent with enterprise and I will warn people of their shady service, policies, and damage scams. Thanks for inconvenience. Waste of time and money.

By the time my car was ready and I got into my car it was 45 minutes later. There was also a mix up with my reservation and my points for a free day on my reservation, both guys working the counter ensured me that it would be taken care of and it was not. The only bright spot was Richard ( I hope I got his name correct, he was a younger Asian guy who was working when i returned my car) he did his best to take care of the issue with the free rental day. Picked up at 12:15 then checked in but it wasnt until 1:45 after I asked about the delay that I was informed that they didnt have cars and they had to pick them up at a body shop.Richard, the manager is horrible at communicating the dilemma or challenge that this location was experiencing. He never said anything while he checked me in nor at any of the times that I looked at him with a look of inquiry because of the long wait. Once I had enough of waiting I asked an employee who informed me that they didnt have any carsI then called for an Uber ride!As I was getting picked up by Uber, Richard the location manager was driving back onto the lot. Dont know where he was as the store closes at 1pm but it was full of waiting patrons at 1:45pm.Im not in the habit of posting negative comments, but this was ridiculous. Two hours of time to end up where I started, without a car is ridiculous. I hope I get reimbursed my Uber fare.

Process to get and return the car was quick and easy.The quote i received compared to what i actually paid was 10$ off but i rented it on a long weekend, so i was okay with it. The car itself smelled like cigarettes even though you cannot smoke inside the car according to policy.

A few days before this I want to the Burbank Airport to rent a car and was told all they have is SUVs and vans, then I called them and they told me at that lot that they had the small economy cars. Comment: I will never ever rent a vehicle at this location. The vehicle was dirty and it had dog hair all over the back seat. My daughter is allergic to dog hair and broke out in hives. I returned the vehicle at a different location because this location is closed on the weekends. I dropped it off at the dealership location in El Monte and they refused to give me a ride to my home. They were more concerned because they claimed that they did not have room in the lot they cmshare with the dealership and kept refusing to accept it but they had already agreed when I contacted their corporate office. They eventually accepted the vehicle and they confirmed that there was dog hair everywhere.

Comment: The assistant manager has bad customer service if youre paying with the prepaid credit card the assistant manager well asked you for your balanced before she runs the credit card through then the car that I got from them it looks like they broke both from Windows whatever tape the use to put over that window was stuck to the paint I asked for a 4-door car they gave me a two-door sports car while I was doing the deal with her the assistant manager receive a call from a customer asking for a 4-door car she puts the car on hold for them and give me the two door car when I went outside to get deliver in my car I asked the other person if they had four door car available she says no we dont and then call me at 10:30 a.m. To let me know they will pick me up around 12 noon didnt pick me up until 2:45 p.m. Overall was a bad experience

Comment: I am a frequent Enterprise renter. I reserved Luxury class 5 days before my trip. On day of my reservation, Enterprise calls me and asks me to confirm my res. I say yes and they say thank you. I call them an hour later at 9:15am and request a pickup from my location a few minutes away. Rep says a bit busy but driver will be there 30 to 45 mins later. 2.5 hours later driver calls and says he is on way - he shows up 30 mins later. I vent my frustration to him and he says he just picked up my car from different location.I think to myself, Enterprise, we pick you up..... eventually.......I get to rental office and tell assistant manager that I am disappointed in the long wait as it has put me behind schedule. She seems annoyed at my complaints and offers discounted rate. I leave.When I return car, I deal with Alex (who I learn is the manager) he asks if the customer service was satisfactory and I say it was awful during pickup. I explain story to him and he begins to apologize and asks what he can do to make up for it. I do not offer any suggestions so he offers to take a day off my rental. I really appreciated his concern and determination to make the situation right so I would be satisfied.I hope someone at Enterprise management reads this. You need to hire more people like Alex! Great job in your career - you will do great.

No long waiting line on Friday, beating my expectation, awesome check in.And thanks to Nicole, a pretty sweet staff, she is polite, walking us out nicely. She patiently show me the available cars, catering arrange the whole process considerately. She even responsibly had my rental car re-cleaned once she recognizing there is some tiny tiny dust mark on the carpet of the trunk.All in all, nice branch and nice people there.

I had to walk a couple of miles since i thought that id be able to rent the car and turns out. A case of misinformation on both side according to the guy who was there. No i did not misinform anyone. If i go to uhaul they can set me up with any car or truck with my debit and my liecense. The guy thought it was funny and grinned at my situation. Wouldnt do business with them anymore. Comment: Hit by a driver and had to get rental at this place thru the other drivers insurance. I call and they say they need $100.00 deposit and I said no and I will go thru my insurance no deposit with them. Long story short I had to use enterprise and pay the deposit returned the car and they say they have to wait for insurance to verify they are getting paid before I get my deposit back, thats not what I was told when I picked up the car! It is now 4 days later no returned deposit they because of the insurance company has not approved the rental! So why do you give the vehicle out without approval? Why dont you tell customer the amount of days you are getting in advance plus explain you will not get your deposit back until the insurance okd the payment? I was told you will get your deposit back when you return the car, which was was far from the truth.

Comment: I have no complaints about customer service at this location as i was treated as i expected to be treated as a paying customer and the two people who helped me (pickup/return) were very professioinal and courteous!! the complaint i do have is about the vehicle itself...had made reservation for a mid-level rental and when i got there, there were none available and i was fine with taking the compact which they had on the lot (Nissan Sentra) altho now looking back i was charged for the mid-level which i was quoted on my reservation. I overlooked this fact, being i was on vacation with family i just wanted a car that was accommodating for us so we could get started. Then, THE CAR!! after leaving the lot took quick notice and saw that it wasnt the cleanest vehicle ive ever rented but since we were on our way said the hell with it. After getting to our destination (not really to close) did a full look thru and car was FILTHY!! decided to live with it instead of calling and going back to get a presentable car....from DAY 2 to DAY 7 we became known as the squealers as everytime stepping on brakes the car would scream to a stop...altho i passively dealt with this because i didnt want to drive back to office for a different car, i would suggest that cars be thouroughly looked at before letting customers leave lot with a rental that shouldnt even be being rented in condition its in!! again...customer service excellent/car HORRIBLE!!

Comment: I would give them zero stars if possible. Its the worst place to rent a car. One they have almost close to no opions..and secondly they are unapathetic and misguiding. My car was in an auto shop and that is when I unfortunately had the chance to use their service, recommended by the auto shop!! The understanding was that if the work on the car extended, the insurance company or the auto shop would pay for the rental car. Lo and behold when I went to return the car, they charged my credit card (that they said was to only hold the deposit: 300 dollars) twice already for close to a 1000 dollars!!! When asked they said, its usually done when the bill extends beyond a certain time and amount....How can these guys charge my card without my permission and especially when I made it specific that I want to use a different card to pay. The worst thing was that the auto shop was ready to help and write a check for the entire amount..and get reimbursed by the insurance company...but enterprise said..we dont work with that shop!!! (the shop that recommended them!!! how pathetic!!)Well this is warning for anyone who wants to use this facility..please dont ..they are cheaters and are only running this facility to misguide and charge your credit card ..and I even overheard 2 people while waiting my turn...asking for reimbursement..coz of illegal charges...Really sad state of affairs here...I have never rented anywhere by Enterprise for the past 10 years..but never again!!

My problem with this place is they gave me the run around about vehicles that were available. Secondly, they charged my credit card when I wanted my debit card charged. The amazing thing about this is I handed them my debit card to charge and they still charged my credit card. SAVE YOUR SELF A HEAD ACHE GO TO Hurtz!!!
