Comment: I was able to easily book a car online for a weekend trip. Once I arrived to the store, staff were very attentive and I was out of there with my rental car in less than 10 minutes. Car drove very smoothly and had no problems. Drop off was very quick as well. Overall enjoyable experience and would go back again.

A great 2024 Ford Expedition XL. All passengers were pleased and as the driver and the person who reserved the car, I LOVED the car, I loved the service. I will always use Enterprise Manteca. A+

Comment: Terrible Service!!!My cousins went in to rent a car, they presented their ID’s from Mexico and the guy pulls out a book of all the ID’s from all over the world and continues to say her ID didn’t match any. Which was wrong. We kept pointing out the EXACT SAME ID!!! He was being rude and unprofessional. We then asked him if we can show another ID and he told us he would not let us rent a car anymore no matter what ID we show.Discrimination at its finest! Glad we left and gave them no business. Please be carful when coming here! Rude staff!!

Received confirmation for the pickup however the location’s representative waited till the morning of pickup to call and leave a voicemail that no cars are available. While I understand that inventory is short on last minute reservations, it would be appreciated to receive motivation of no car availability shortly after the reservation is made allowing time to search other locations rather than. Additionally when contacting the representative to discuss options, they ensured to make the interaction hasty as possible. Enterprise does not guarantee reservations and when they are lapses expect their location representative to be unhelpful.

Comment: Went in to pick up a rental through car insurance. Once there I was told I needed a deposit of $50 plus 20 days that comes out to $261. I said I don’t have that my insurance told me it was covered and after the rental is turned in, I would then pay 20 percent of it. I was told that’s there policy and said we’ll come back when you have the deposit and walked off on me while I had questions. Felt like I wasn’t acknowledged and treated I was treated rude. Called my agent and even she told me that didn’t sound right, so she went to call claims. My sister insisted on paying for it for now and tried to get them the card info through a phone call, but they said that’s also against their policy as they were ready to close. Customer service definitely sucked as well as notifying someone with important information on the phone, and being informative in person. Also told me afterwards that I can’t rent from them because supposedly my sister threatened them. My sister said along the lines that she has long term Covid and can’t go in person herself to pay unless that’s what they are asking her. I got there at 4pm after speaking to my insurance agent and trying to figure it out it was really close to closing and believe they were just trying to close shop and don’t really care about the customer and if they have a way to commute to work or not.

Then after I picked up my rental, I got a phone call from someone claiming that I returned a vehicle that had dog fur in it. It was even possible since I had just picked up the vehicle. Then after I explained to him that he had made a mistake he broke one of the few major rules of customer service. He offered me discounts and so on and I didnt receive any of it.EDIT: Well after they looked into whatever they needed to look into, Enterprise staff states that they dont know how they can be of assistance. Here is a valid question: why even look into to it if your not going to do anything except waste our time???

Comment: When you need a rental car in the Stockton area, the experience to be had at the Manteca CA Enterprise will be far and away the best. They have an unusually good selection of vehicles for a neighborhood facility and the service from the staff has always been well beyond the expected. They try to be as quick, efficient and as friendly as possible, even when the lobby is full and all phones are ringing. I wish I could get this level of service from the other locations when I travel.

Comment: If you can not remember what customer service feels like.......rent a car from this location and they will remind you how great it can be!I called the 800 number yesterday to reserve a car. I was really having a horrible day as my husband’s car is going to be stuck at the dealer for 30 days due to a parts shortage. You can only imagine how frustrated and upset I was. The telephone agent let me know there was a car available at this location.I walked to Enterprise (since I had no car) and was met by Peter. What a great smile and calm demeanor he had. There was a small hiccup with my reservation, but within minutes Peter solved the problem and was able to get me in my rental.He walked me around the car to make sure the exterior was in good shape and even walked me through some of the interior features so I knew how to use everything. There was even an individually wrapped Clorox wipe placed in the car so you can wipe down the steering wheel to feel safe and clean. I appreciated that. He made sure I knew where the gas level was at and that I felt comfortable before I drove off.The rental process is paperless and extremely fast with their tablet. You just need to present your Drivers License and Credit Card. In my frantic afternoon, I forgot to grab my insurance card. He asked to call them back the next morning to provide them my policy number.During the entire process, Peter was amazing. He had a great attitude, wonderful personality, he was patient, kind and understanding. He turned my horrible afternoon around. I can not thank you enough Peter.The next morning I called in to give them my insurance policy info. Brianna (I hope I spelled that correctly) answered the phone. She proved that this store offers great customer service. She was smiling, patient, spoke clearly and made it easy.Thank you to the staff at this location, I really appreciate your empathy, understanding and patience.

The young man at the desk informed me that they didnt have a car until 2:30pm, FOUR AND A HALF HOURS after my confirmed booking. I asked for an alternate vehicle and was refused despite having sighted several other rentals behind the building. A phone call or even an email to inform me that there were no cars should be standard procedure you would think. Had I known that there were no cars I wouldve made other arrangements. My disabled grandmother sat at san francisco Airport for two hours as I had to walk over to Hertz car rental as my only option. Discusted is an under statement.

It started off a little bumping when they called to let me know that my rental was not going to be available due to what I requested not coming in. I was a bit upset cause that was all I originally got. But then when I called back I spoke with the manager and he informed me that if I came in a little earlier then my original time frame hopefully something will be in and he’ll hold it for me. Which was a relief due to I was going out of town. So I want to thank the manager there for the reassurance and making sure my trip went off without a hitch.

Comment: I have rented upper end vehicles and large SUVs from Enterprise numerous times over past years. Last week, I reserved a one way full sized vehicle from the Manteca, CA location with an estimated pick time of 11:00 am. I was not able to arrive at the pick up location until after 1:00 pm. When I arrived, I was told there were no full sized vehicles left and that I would need to choose a different vehicle. I was never told that I had to arrive exactly at 11:00 am to secure the vehicle of my choice. I was shown a Nissan Sentra and was told this was the only vehicle available and was very close to a full sized vehicle. I then asked what the reduction in the rental price would be. I was told price reduciton would be only $3.00. Needless to say, I am very displeased with Enterprise and the attitude of the agent that tried to convince me that this inferior vehicle was similar to my original choice. I will need to look elsewhere for my next rental needs.

Comment: The Manteca office is great! Cody helped me with an upgrade through an insurance claim. He gave me several choices Hyundai, Ford Edge Titanium, or Nissan Rogue, he recommended the Ford Edge, it had a lot of similar upgrades as my current Mercedes SUV, clearly not in the same class, yet for the week I had it, was not bad. They picked me up at the autobody shop, and then on the return took me back. Great Team.

Comment: Was very disappointed recently in my experience with Enterprise. The first time I used them in November, it was flawless. They were helpful and very understanding of my situation. This past time just a few agos, was awful. They called me three times to confirm my reservation (which I made 2 weeks in advance). Once I got there, she ran my card for the rental and then they realized they didnt have a car for me. They tried to get me into a smaller car and then a truck. That is not what I reserved. So they told me there was nothing they could do. They gave me 25% off my next rental, which I probably wont be using . I was disappointed. It reminded me of the Seinfeld episode. If you have a reservation, it should be honored or they should call other enterprises for you and get you the car you requested and then take you to it. NOT PUT IT ON THE CUSTOMER.

Once I found out I needed a rental, I went online, reserved my car and then telephone contacted them stating I need the rental by 2pm. It was 1:10pm. They stated they would send someone to pick up in 20mins. They did. Once I arrived they got me into a rental by 2:05pm and I made it to work on time. Great service. Totally thankful.

The car type I originally booked was sold out and after listening to me as to trip type and location offered an upgrade to meet expected need. The car, a Toyota Rav4 was a great choice that got reasonable MPG. Return was easy and recieved a ride home. Overall a great rental experience.

When I asked about why we arent being seen because we have an appointment, I was told the appointment system doesnt really matter.After waiting in the lobby of a different business (per Hertz request), we were finally ushered into a tiny office with two desk. People were herded in and out, standing in the tiny office, listening to each others circumstances-insurance claims, vehicle accidents, contact information including address and phone number.Completely unorganized, unprofessional experience. No one showed any customer service.

Comment: It is pointless to make prior reservations for anything if you arent going to have any vehicle in the class the reservation is for when you come in to pick up the vehicle.The woman behind the counter upgraded my reservation and now because they didnt have my reserved vehicle and had to upgrade me I have to provide a additional major credit card, pay stub and a utility bill?!I have NEVER had any issues renting with this company before but this is the first time I had a reservation at this location and WHAT A JOKE!My reservation was set in advance to avoid the bs and ensure the vehicle I reserved was available but apparently that doesnt matter with these lazy thou so holy unprofessional negligent employees.ENTERPRISE HAS LOST MY BUSINESS and I will tell everyone I know not to rent through this company and I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars renting from enterprise for the past several years.You wont get a dime of my money again!

It use to be you only needed an extra deposit if you didnt have a major credit card. Super disappointing, been using this company for a very lonf time, might have to start looking elsewhere.

The person I was talking to told me that she had send the driver to pick me up but send him to the wrong place. Terrible customer service-when I walked in to the enterprise office, the person on the counter was talking on the phonewhile trying to help me. The other enterprise associate was sitting on her desk looking. The person on the counter was still on the phone and not even done helping me when another customer walked in and started helping him. Then the other enterprise associate started helping me and I found out she is the office manager. What a terrible customer service

Nobody mentioned it or brought it to us. A few hours later we realized that we left it behind. When we called and they said Oh yeah we found it when we cleaned out the car....can you send it to us? No. Kind of shady.

Comment: Had points available for a free Full Size rental, but the wonderful people at Enterprise fixed it so that I could credit the points towards a discount on a Luxury Special rental, which ended up being a 2017 Dodge Charger R/T with a Hemi engine. It was a blast to drive and only cost $20. Id definitely recommend this Enterprise, they give outstanding service.

We went back and talked to them about a refund and they promised us a refun within days. After 4 other visits and a ton of calls they still havent refunded us and its been 6 months!!!!! Horrible service. I dont recommend it! Unless you want your money stolen !
