Comment: I rented a car at this Enterprise location because of an accident where my car had to be at the shop for a week. Because my insurance coverage had rental car coverage I was able to rent a car and it was a very seamless easy straight forward process. The employees working here were very nice and quick, and I was able to rent a nice Mazda CX-90. It was great and I am happy to have rented a car here. Recommend

Comment: Quick service! The car was in excellent condition. My only complaint is that the car only has a 1/4 tank of gas. I was in a hurry, so it was inconvenient to fill the tank after getting the car and then return it at the same level of gas, so ENTERPRISE got 1/2 tank of free gas from me. For my next rental, I will be sure that I get a full tank of gas.

Comment: The workers were fine. However, Enterprise didnt have the large SUV I reserved in stock leaving a pickup truck as the only option for picking my kid up from college. Needless to say, I would have preferred to do the 18 hour round trip drive in an SUV over a pickup. A reservation apparently means nothing.

Comment: This has to be the bottom of the barrel Enterprise. The customer support is awful at this location. I call to reserve a vehicle and when I get there they DO NOT have any vehicles. It’s ok if you are all booked up, JUST TELL ME! Why do you take reservations if you can not fulfill the request? This happened twice in a one month period. Please do not waste your time and energy at this location. If zero stars were an option I would have picked zero.

Comment: Well, when you reserve a car online and there aren’t any cars available after taking a Lyft- you get one star. One more star for offering a ride home which I declined. I even verified w/ Enterprise there were cars available but apparently the person I spoke to was international and only god knows how she checked the inventory. I believe the current business model is to rent out more cars than you have, then offer “that’s life” looks to your customers when they leave w/out a vehicle. This isn’t a roll of toilet paper or item to be picked up at Walmart. To have such a lousy system that leaves people stranded when they thought they were renting a car…Very disappointing.

Comment: I have rented with enterprise several times, every time I was given picture of fuel tank. This time the associate said repeatedly the gas is just over a half. Six times if he said it once. I couldnt figure that out why he kept repeating the gas amount until I returned car at the next line about 1/2 tank and was told by a different associate I was $8 off. She was kind enough to remove it, but without proof which I was provided in the past was now their word. Not acceptable by any means.

Comment: On this occasion I was none to happy with some of the service from Enterprise Vallejo CA.I have rented from here on more than one occasion,and this time it was somewhat of an emergency due to my own car being off the road.Obtaining a vehicle was largely fairly easy with me making an online booking the evening before.The reason I picked Enterprise above other companies was because of their pick up option.I called early the next morning and asked about pick up.This was eventually obtained despite some attitude from the gentleman on the phone.The initial lady who gave me the rental car was helpful and polite.No problems with the car or the rental process itself.Returning the car was a different matter.I returned the car on time 3 days later.The assistant on duty that morning Brooke I think her name was was not very polite or helpful.I asked her about a ride home (about 3 miles away)and she told me we dont do that and dont have Staffthen told me to call an uber or call someone to drive me home.Uber is hit and miss in this area,and I would not be asking for a ride if I had someone to drive me home.Her attitude was walk it for all I care.Vallejo is not a safe area and I was there on my own with the branch closing in 1 hour.I finally did manage to get an uber which was expensive due to it being Christmas weekend.If Enterprise no longer wants to provide a pick up service then best not to advertise it.I definitely will not use the Vallejo branch of Enterprise again and will likely look at other rental companies the next time I need a car.

The office was swamped with people when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, but Alexis went out of her way to ensure that I didn’t have to wait very long and that I got a great vehicle. It wasn’t even the one I booked, but much better and I was thrilled by what I got.Upon my return Alexis assisted me with a friendly smile and bubbly personality. Comment: My husband rented a car on 9/6/2023 at this location. The car was full of cigarette smell and the front seats have burned holes. The car died 3 times at red lights and he was able to restart it. After he went back to the hotel and parked the car, the car wont start anymore, totally dead. Enterprise had to tow the car away. The staff at this office told him on the phone that they wont charge him for the car. After several days, we saw our credit card was charged $95.29 for this dirty broken car. He called the location twice and left messages about the charge, but after 2 full days, no once called him back. I also filed a BBB complaint trying to get our money back.

And the windows were scummy with something probably from smokers. With germs like Covid going around and our health issues it made me worry about getting covid, because if I get covid itll most definitely kill me. I didnt survive cancer to die from covid. But we cleaned the inside of the car and when done renting it we cleaned it again and returned it way better than we received it. Over all I still give Enterprise a 10.

This is the worst rental place ever and my experience is always either a delay that is longer than expected (with an appointment made and arrival on time)given a car with check engine lights and or infested with bugs, cars are always dirty, all they want is your money. They are liars and illegally misinform you to get extra money. They are illegally charging me fees on a car that I did not ask for! Steer clear! Comment: After placing a reservation I arrived at the appointed time only to be told that the car that I selected was not available (what’s the point of a reservation then, one might ask.) Interestingly enough their available options all came with a price increase that was not compensated for along with a mandatory deposit that was not included with my original reservation. This seems like a very convenient way for the business to get one over on the customers by either forcing them to pay hundreds of dollars extra or be left without a car. Not a great way to do business.

I was told to wait and then was given a small SUV. I told the person showing the car that I wanted a sedan since thats what my daughter was driving. I was then told, its only $5 extra a day dont worry about it, it wont be that much. No it was not!! I already knew I was being ripped off, when I was only offered more expensive upgrades. Im being charged $16 extra a day. I just dont like that the worker did that and tried to force me to rent the small SUV and all he offered was a bigger size SUV. He didnt state, they are out of smaller cars. He just gave me the option to go bigger. If I wasnt tired from work I would have waited there until I got what was fair. He told me I could come back another day to trade the car. He never said he didnt have any smaller cars to rent. Other than that, Im never going back to this Enterprise because they dont listen and they dont care about what you want. I been renting here for years and this is the first time this happened to me. They really just want your money! I did however give them 2 stars because the main guy at the desk was pleasant to everyone.

It is hard for seniors and short legged persons to get up and down. One of the passengers fell not realizing it was too deep to reach the ground in getting down.And if travelling far- make sure to keep the last row seat for the luggages to be seated comfortably. The 15 seater van maybe just good for 11 passengers + the luggages.

With the BRANCH MANAGER!I was going to extend my rental, however when the branch manager gave me a price almost double what I previously paid. I ask if my corporate discount was applied? When I tried to explain that my company has a corporate rate that is much cheaper then what your giving me, and I ask again was my corporate rate discount applied. She then got loud and told me her people dont make mistakes and she trains them to be PERFECT! I said look were all human and we make mistakes. She then told me give me the keys to my rental and she is refusing to rent to me. I said for asking if my discounts were applied?? She then said she was calling the police and reporting the car stolen!!. My current contract was not up for another 3 hours, I said call the police and walked out.The next day after speaking with customer service, they informed me that the rate she quoted did not have my corporate discount applied. She also told me that I would not be stopped from renting vehicles from them. The store managerI had the issue with, placed notes on my file that any enterprise or national location to see that would make them not rent to me. Which is what happened when I returned the car to the sonoma county airport location. So I rented from hertz for 300 more then i pay with national and enterprise. I then called customer service again. And they said just make a reservation. I did and even got a confirmation that there would not be an issue with me renting, and any notes were removed. At about 2 hours I get a call from the airport store manager who tells me hes refusing to honor my confirmed rental because he remembered me from the weekend when i had the issue with the first store manager. I said I have a confirmed reservation, which he then says he does not have any cars to give me. I knew this was BS as he already told me that he wasnt going to rent to me because of what the other store manager said.I hung up and called customer service again, and I told them what happened and was told that because of having to pay extra to another company. He would be giving me the points equal to my rental price, which was close to $300.I have a reservation confirmed for tomorrow, so check back on what happens. Horrible Experience with both branch managers.

I had to extend my rental twice and there was no problem. (I had more problem with the 800 number). The Vallejo office knows what they are doing! When I finally dropped it off a week and half later, Ivan gave me the personal treatment that made me feel like royalty. Always smiling and reassuring me that everything was perfect. They are very friendly, they take their time to explain the most important things that I needed to know in the agreement. I like that Bryan took pictures of the dent on the vehicle and patiently showed the features of the vehicle. Alexander was very friendly and very courteous to all the customers. There were 5 customers and only 2 staff helping but Alexander was so polite to respond to one of the customers who was complaining about their appointment. When I made note to the service member assisting me I was guided to another vehicle.After the wait in line, I was running late and was in a hurry. I noted to him the strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the car. All he said was he’d make note of it. He acknowledged the low gas level on the tank and excused himself by saying not to worry about the gas level when returning the vehicle.A nail in one of the tires caused a flat. When going into the trunk for the tools and spare tire I discovered there was a tool missing. Luckily I was assisted by a Good Samaritan.I called the enterprise customer line but the office was closed. This morning before 6:00am I received a wake up butt dial from a staff member’s cell phone who is located in a state across the country.When the calling the the local location this morning I asked if they could schedule a pick up for the car as I am incredibly busy and pinched for time. I do not want to drive around on a donut tire when going from one meeting to another. I was told they are short staffed and pick ups are unavailable today. My only option would be to pay out of pocket for them to tow the car back.The icing on the cake is the fact that anything I own that has been in the car smells like smoke. The scent is so strong my partner asked me if I had taken up smoking when seated next to me after I had driven to location in the vehicle.No effort was made on behalf of the company for any of the inconveniences.

Comment: I arrived to pick up my vehicle and the vehicle I reserved was not available due to various reasons which I can understand, but I had to wait for 30 minutes due the lack of communication amongst the staff, ie.. one minute I was told I’d be using a certain vehicle, then another vehicle, etc because, “Oh sorry one of the other staff gave that car to another customer”, etc.. As well, there were a group of staff talking, joking around extremely loud in an office just off the main lobby which I found to be really disruptive and highly unprofessional.. The branch seemed to be run by a lot of young, inexperienced, unprofessional staff which totally impacts the image of the branch..I’ve been a customer for several years and have never experienced this before, until this past week when I rented my vehicle on Thursday 11/21/19.

But...it would be very helpful if, when you reserve online, the rep would tell you that you will need a piece of mail that verifies your address. I was almost stranded when I was asked for a piece of mail for this purpose...like who carries a piece of mail with them to rent a car? If I wasnt able to pull a copy of my Electric bill off my phone I would have been stranded...as the rep had come and picked me up from my work. Comment: The reservation process was easy, and I received a reminder a couple of days before my reservation, which gave me confidence that they would have a car for me. On the day, they brought the car to my house. All I had to do was drop the representative off at the nearby office and continue on my way. The car was excellent with lots of great features; cruise control, backup camera, and bluetooth. Returning the car was just as easy, no surprises, and they gave me a ride back home with very little wait time. All the representatives I dealt with were very professional. Comment: My car is at Dealers’ waiting for parts. who arranged rental for me. I arrived at Vallejo Enterprise and told Car was reserved in the city, where dealer is. I was asked to call dealer to have transferred to Vallejo. I called service adviser who of course said ok so I handed my phone to Enterprise representative. I asked after they hung up, May have been easier if you called. I wait for them to do paperwork, inspect car, sign rental agreement, put car seat in, put child in car seat, get ready to get into drivers seat and the guy tells me the gas light is on. I said why didn’t someone check before you rented out this car again? He replied I could go about 40 miles with the light on—I was running late for a doctors appointment and didn’t have time for them to drag another car out that could have same issue since they apparently don’t bother to check.

As a customer, we come to you to find solutions with our rentals. Since I cant come to my reservation time 6:00 pm (30 min before your closing hour), I was just trying to see if I can pick up the van first thing the next day. No changes on the return date. But you just sternly kept on telling me, without slight empathy that the price will go up from 59.99 to 90+. I understand that you have limitations and may not control over your systems but atleast try to sound a little more helpful and show empathy. That is just basic customer service. My roommate rented a car from this location and unfortunately someone hit him on the freeway. 2 Days Later someone pulled out in front of me and damage my car to the point where it cant be driven. I went to get a rental car from the the same location because my roommate was already doing business with this location and theyre the only location in Vallejo. I spoke to the manager at this location by the name of Hawk. He told me that he would not rent a car to me because of my roommate getting into an accident. My roommate was hit on the freeway unfortunately the person fled the scene. He waited for the CHP to arrive and filed a report. this was not his fault and this is definitely not my fault yet Im being denied a rental!? My insurance approved me for the rental and I have a clean driving record but Im being discriminated against by this location simply because of living with my roommate. Do not go to this location!!! I sat in the waiting room with my four children with no car because the manager was so inconsiderate. Now this manager has placed a note in my file that I brought back a damaged vehicle. I have nothing to do with that vehicle I simply live in the same house. I asked the manager for the policy and procedure stating that this is how they handle business in this situation and he did not and could not provide me anything. Now the other locations are all telling me this note is on file and they cannot rent a car to me even though I had nothing to do with this.This is discrimination...

Comment: Rented twice at this location; first time through a dealer (no deposit) and second time for personal use (needs deposit). Both times customer service was good. Staff seems friendly. Process of getting a car & returning was fairly quick. Cars were fairly new, clean and comfortable. I only have two issues with renting a car from Enterprise the second time around: (1) $200 deposit, which isn’t stated at time of reservation except for asking for credit card to hold car [other rental places only require $50-100 deposit]; and (2) the quick pre-trip inspection of the vehicle. Rep only walked around car asking me to check for exterior damages. A day later I found damage on the interior — a decent size rip on the passenger seat, only visible if you open the passenger door. I think because they try to make the whole rental process quick & easy, they dont ask you to look inside the car. I also found tools inside the center console, which made think if I was going to have problems with the car during the week I had it. I wasn’t charged for the rip on the seat, but they sure did notice it when I returned the car. They also were quick to find the tools and asked if they belonged to me. I know now when reserving a car at any rental place to ask how much deposit is required AND to look inside car for damages (or whatever) before leaving with the car. =)

I cannot believe they advertise having serious XM radio when it never works.(EVEN THO I PAID FOR IT) It was very inconvenient to me that I have to keep calling to the store every single day to have them reset the XMradio account. Not to mention the Vallejo Store never picks up the phone! I was put on hold or 3 days in a row for about 15 to 20 Min. Im not sure if its just enterprise having crappy phone service but I dont blame this on the associates that work there. Short drive from where we were staying in Napa, and i suppose they would have picked us up if we had needed it. Didnt take very long to complete rental process. Comment: My Mom and I reserved a mid-SUV for a 10-day road trip to Oregon, and we were super happy with the car. They called to confirm the reservation, and the car was ready for us when we arrived. And, it was the most comfortable car I have ever been in (a Nissan Rogue), which made the trip a great success. Sometimes when you reserve a car you dont get the vehicle youre expecting, but that has never been an issue with Enterprise. The service at this location was also very quick and friendly. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend Enterprise and this Vallejo location.

I was told on Thursday if you need to exchange to call on Monday around 9 or after because that is when they getting the car back. I call at 11, the answer on the end of the line was we will have more car MAYBE at 1 or I can call other locations and get an exchange then she hung up on me. No concern, no caring, just call some where else and stop bothering me. BTW, I have done the exchange from other locations thing, I found that you get worse customer services from other location where you did not get the car from in the first place. Why would they want to exchange the car for you when you did not even rent from them. I can understand that but I do not have to like it. Well, I think I am quite done with this. I will tell my company that they really need to look for other option for car rental. BTW, I just call them again, now it is 3 pm if I need to exchange. Since now will take me until 7 pm to reach my destination because of this rental issue.

Comment: Very good customer service. I rented a car while visiting my son in the area so we could drive to L.A. He was supposed to return the car Saturday but arrived too late, the office was closed for holiday on Monday and my son had a flight out before Tuesday. The manager arranged to pick up the car from my other sons home (he was not listed as authorized driver.) They were very helpful.

Comment: Overall, it was a very good experience. Great Rental Car-smooth ride, absolutely no issues. Staff was attentive & accomodating even when office was very busy. Will definitely rent again with Enterprise.

Comment: Our car broke down on the way to Tahoe, we were dropped by the tow truck, but first called and made a reservation for full size SUV with FWD. Had trouble with Avis in that after booked, they said only had 2wd - not helpful. Enterprise did not have a full size available, but we were able to squeeze into jeep grand Cherokee and it was a very nice car that worked great in the snow. The service was awesome!

Comment: I called them and made a reservation, they picked me up at home, I got a clean car in very good condition and I was in and out in about 10 min. I gave the car back, and they drove me home. Very good customer service and nice people. I will rent there again. I rented a lot of cars and tested different companies and as far as I can say, Vallejo Enterprise is on my top 5 list. Im from Europe so maybe my point of view is different. I saw the review from other people and I can tell you, I was completely happy to rent there. That was my experience.

Comment: Went to pickup my car from this location where I have rented before. Wouldnt rent without additional information because I wanted to use debit card. 10 minutes before closing and they tell me now, plus I didnt need it before. I told them I have a Business Commercial account with them, but that didnt matter. So I couldnt pickup the car, have to now reschedule meetings. They say they want to exceed expectations what a laugh, they should try to meet them first.

Comment: I received very good service from the Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Vallejo, My sister and I came over from San Francisco on the ferry and Enterprise picked us up from the ferry terminal. I recommend doing this if you are planning to use the car in Napa Valley, rather than renting in San Francisco and driving over. The ferry ride was very scenic and easy!Check in was quick and efficient and we got a bit better vehicle than expected for the same rice. When we returned the car, Enterprise brought us back to the ferry terminal. Very convenient and great service. Thanks, Enterprise!

Comment: Best experience Ive had getting a rental car. Ive had many bad experiences getting rental cars and it was refreshing to come in and have a smooth transaction with friendly staff. Demetrius Was on top of everything, there was a mix up with the car I was supposed to get and he was able to quickly clear it up and get me in the car I requested and treated my concerns with professionalism and made it a very pleasant visit. I would definitely recommend this location and will be returning for all my future rentals.
