Comment: Employee and manager very helpful in finding me a low mileage luxury suv. Of course it cost me substantially more but it was at least what I wanted. Now Im renting from a local office in my home town and they dont seem to be very intent on helping with that extra effort on an upcoming reservation 6/28. I typically find myself stuck with the similar to bait and switch business model.

Comment: The folks at Enterprise at SFO Int’l were absolutely fantastic. An hour after renting the vehicle we discovered that the back tire had gone flat. It was too late in the evening to take car back so we waited until the next morning. The way they handled our situation was text book perfect. Andrew (first person we interacted with about the issue) just ran with it. He set up the next step, then that person took care of it from there. It was fantastic and we greatly appreciated their efforts. 5+ stars amd would highly recommend their entire team. Their customer service was second to none.

Comment: I really enjoy renting a car from Enterprise. I skip the line and go right to the car area. HOWEVER, stop with the overcharging for bridge tolls. You do not need a 40% markup to administrate the toll. I believe you charge enough for the automobile rental to cover the extra fee for bridge tolls.

Comment: Easy. Pickup required minimal effort. Of course, you have to go through the documentation process. They have a nice insurance setup. There are not many issues to worry about when you are attempting to travel with the vehicle. Just be sure to record the inspection of the vehicle before you take it off the lot. Human error is a high risk as minor damage can be missed from a previous driver and become your responsibility when noticed by another inspector. Drop-off is easy as hell. Literally take the car back and walk away, lol. Will be using them again and again. 👍

Comment: The first car we rented at SFO turned out to have a bad tire that lost air during our trip to Oregon. The car had no spare, so Enterprise arranged for a replacement. The representative on the phone was very concerned about me safely driving the car to the Enterprise office, but the leak was a slow one and the office was close. The replacement car was better than the original. The small office in a car dealership didnt have time to clean the car, but it was clean enough. I took it with a 3/4 full tank, although the revised agreement said the car was full. The rental office had issues changing over the rental agreement to the new car, but worked hard to get it done overnight after I took possession of the new car. When returned the second car to SFO, there was no problem and the agent even adjusted the return to show a full tank (it was at about the same level as I received it). We were very pleased with the service provided by all the Enterprise representatives and the company treated us very well.

Comment: We rented a Nissan Rogue SUV for four adults and a baby. The vehicle was great - low mileage, clean, roomy enough and comfy. We did have to install the car seat ourselves (for liability reasons, apparently). We had checked in a few hours beforehand to avoid having to go to the reservation desk, but still had to wait a while for staff to get to us, finalize paperwork and show us the vehicle. All told, however, the rental process was smooth enough with minimal pain.

When we arrived at the rental car garage after a long day in the air I was very worried to see dozens on people in line and camped out on the floor in the facility. I pessimistically walked to the Enterprise counter where there was a sign directing me straight to the garage for assistance. When we arrived at the garage I was happy to see only one customer in front of me and the agent quickly assisted with our needs and we were on our way. Checking in online before arriving saved time and hassle. Id probably still be in line had I chosen a different company to rent from.

I dont recommend the airport but Enterprise is certainly the way to go if you need a rental car there. The employees are accommodating, respectful, and pleasant.However, we had a stressful rental this last time.We rented a premium luxury SUV at San Francisco airport. The SUV they gave us was without our knowledge a plug in hybrid.We started getting a message on the screen “You must recharge immediately!”My husband and I have never driven an electric vehicle or know anything about types of chargers or where to find them.When we called roadside assistance they told us we had to go to the closest airport which was an hour away and exchange the vehicle. They said it must be charged! We had to forgo our plans for the day and spend several hours looking for a compatible charger and sitting in a random parking lot charging on what was a very slow charger. We would have been there hours more.After trial and error, I finally figured out how to connect directly to the SFO office (not at all clear during the prompts). I was told that we didn’t have to charge it, but rather put it in hybrid mode on which it was not.We still were nervous for a couple more days not being confident which Enterprise employee was correct. Hoping it was the latter.They need to take a couple minutes to familiarize their customers with the vehicles. That was essential information!Maybe the young lady, who was very nice by the way, didn’t know herself?I don’t fault her as much as the branch policy.

You just check in the night before with your credit card and drivers license and then when you land, walk to the garage, show them your ID, and they promptly show you your car. Brilliant. Comment: The little Mazda SUV was OK. All the fancy technical stuff took a little getting used to but seem to work OK. Once I got to the valley where the weather was hotter, I discovered the air conditioner was not working correctly. The passenger side had some cold air, but no cold air for the driver side. it was miserable to ride in during the day when it was hot. By the time I got back to San Francisco, the temperatures were cooler and it was bearable. I also discovered an interesting thing, but it probably is just an issue with the car in general: I had opened all the windows to cool off inside of the car after it being parked. As I got onto the freeway, I closed the front windows and then there was a horrendous, buffeting, shaking, and howling noise that disappeared once I closed the rear windows. I have never had that happen in another car, but it’s probably just a design thing that is unexplainable.

Comment: Not A California HighI jumped in my rental car selection, an Audie Q7, a little pricy even for San Francisco, and I plugged in my destination. The car was chilly inside. That’s normal, I thought, it’s a rather brisk day in May. I drove out of the city, North on I 5. About an hour later I stopped for a bite to eat. Back in Cali means an obligatory visit at my favorite burger joint! I parked in the warm sunshine. 20 minutes later and now well pleased with my In N Out” burger respite I hopped back in my sporty SUV. Only this time the car was nice and toasty warm from the California sunshine. But something was wrong. The car smelled awful. I knew the smell. No, not cigarettes, not cigars either. The car reeked of marijuana. It was awful. Hey, I get it, but do you have to get high in someone else’s property? It’s an Audi Q7. Well, no time to turn back and change cars. I had an important meeting that afternoon. But oh my God, it was so unpleasant. It then occurred to me; this unfortunate incident may be a massive side effect of absurd public policy laws involving the use of recreational drugs in California. And if that’s true, isn’t that sad? So, I’m not California dreaming anymore. I would love to know how Enterprise is going to fix this one.

Comment: I can’t believe this, for the second week in a row. I have no idea what is going on with the Indianapolis airport location. It’s crazy specially at night. For the second time I arrive and it takes me more than 1 hour to get the rental car. I can’t believe how they had only one person to do the check in, get the car, even wash it, and afterwards you get it. On top of the hour plus you take to get the car, it’s another 30 minutes just to leave the parking lot also only one gate working to check out. I have over a year using enterprise and this has been my worst experience by far. When I returned the car last week I explained my frustration with the “manager” in location which told me that it was just for that night but apparently is not true at all…

Comment: I recently rented a Mercedes station wagon to tour northern France. I picked up the car in Paris and was very disappointed in some of the actions of the staff there. Even though I had reserved the car weeks prior, because I arrived later than I had originally stated, they gave the car to another customer. I had to wait three hours for them to obtain another car. The previous customer had returned the car with no fuel, so the staff told me they would need to go fill the tank. When I received it the tank was only half full. I was never informed during the reservation process that I would need to make a deposit for the car in addition to the daily rate. When I was ready to leave with the car I was informed that, due to the value of the car I would be required to make a $2,000 deposit on my credit card. Had we not made reservations at several hotels for the following week, I would have walked away at that point. Although the car performed well, I was so disappointed in the service in Paris.

Comment: I asked for a Nissan Rogue so I could use Apple Car Play. I got a Subaru, which made navigating through San Francisco’s atrocious traffic difficult, as I had to keep picking up my phone to look at my navigation. I managed to pair my iPhone on Bluetooth, but Apple Car Play wouldn’t work (perhaps I needed a special cable? None of mine worked). This is the second time Enterprise gave me a different car than the one I asked and paid for. I tried to get help before I left the SFO garage, but no one helped.

Another fake out.They charged me for two days when I only had the car for one day. I have been trying to get my money back for three weeks but customer service is a giant loop. The SFO office has made it intentionally impossible to get someone on the phone. Every single menu option when you call directs you to outsourced corporate customer service who cant help and also cant get in touch with SFO. Nor have they responded to any emails. After our car wouldn’t start, I was able to get a jump and drive it to the Enterprise at 891 E El Camino Real in Mountain View, CA. All the associates I worked with there were extremely courteous and helpful and they put us in a pickup truck to at least get us to our next stop. Although they did not have the same type of car we needed, they checked locations and directed us to the San Jose Airport to swap out the temporary vehicle. We arrived at the airport and Jasmine and Izzy were also extremely courteous and accommodating and they got us in a car quickly. They offered us several choices to ensure we felt comfortable driving off the lot. When we returned that car to the SF airport (where we first picked up our car), we explained our issues to Branch Manager Tevin Truong. He was very patient with us and listened to our lengthy story during a time of peak returns. Like the aforementioned reps, Tevin was also very sympathetic to our situation and apologized for what we had to endure with the car we first had. He was very personable and professional and was able to expeditiously rectify the situation for us in a manner which far exceeded our expectations. We were extremely pleased with everyone we dealt with at Enterprise and will continue to rent cars from them because excellent customer service is hard to find.

Comment: When I arrived to pickup my reservation, they could not find it. After about 10 min, they asked if I already picked it up. I had not. My reservation was given to someone else with the same last name, but the car was under my account on my license and credit card. I was frustrated and concerned, but understood that mistakes happen. I was assured this would be corrected and I would not be charged for that reservation, nor would any of my information be linked to it. I was provided a new reservation and sent on my way.A few days after my trip, I saw the charge for both my old reservation that was given to someone else and my new reservation. This meant that someone else was able to rent a car and drive it around the whole time under my information. Had anything happened to that car, IT WOULD HAVE BECOME MY PROBLEM EVEN AFTER I WAS ASSURED IT WOULD BE CORRECTED. So I called enterprise and they did an investigation. A few days later, a refund was posted to my card, but that was it. No call to apologize or recognize that this was a huge mistake that could have left me liable for a vehicle I never had. No call or anything to even let me know that the investigation was complete and they will be refunding me. Nothing... I dont think this organization can be trusted with my information again nor would I like to rent from them going forward

The ramp where the cars are parked was VERY DARK to see anything inside the car even though I turned on the inside car lights. The ramp needs to be lit up more so people feel safe and can see inside the car.2. The Park Brake was set and the person who checked me out to the car didnt help me find the Park Brake to release it. After about 10 minutes using my phone flash light, I was able to find the park break release.3. I left the Car Rental Parking ramp and noticed the headlights were very dim. I initially chalked it up to the fact that it was raining and I dont typically drive at night. However, about 10 miles into driving the car, there was a message that popped up on the dash that indicated there was something wrong with the front sensors. After about day 2 of driving the car at night, I figured out why the headlights were very dim. The light switch arm on the steering wheel was set to day driving lights and not AUTO where it would have sensed night time driving and change from day driving lights to the nighttime LED driving lights.

Since the bay area airports are close to each other i can normally drop off and pick up without a fee from other car companies. I landed in SJC (due to a flight into SFO being cancelled, thx Alaska) and i was told it would be an extra $200 to pick up from one location and drop off at the other. $200 to go 20 miles? For some reason when we had the heater on in the car, there was a very bad exhaust smell coming into the car. Even had to drive with the windows down when the heater was on. The only negative comment Ill leave is that I sent three emails to an Enterprise site where you could report rental issues. But, only heard back one time asking if I was able to get my issue taken care of. I replied that I had not and since the rental was being dropped off the next day, it was too late. When returning to the airport, I explained my issue with the car to Freida Tuisea who me us at the car. She was great and explained there would be a hold on charging me and directed me to an office where I could explain the problem to some managers. This is where I found Brian Fong, Branch Manager, and another gentleman, whose name I did not get. Brian was also very helpful, understood our problem, and apologized for the inconvenience. Everything was transparent and nothing felt pushy or gimmicky, our customer assistance rep Noah A. explained everything perfectly, and made sure we got the car that we needed since we had a group of 8 and most cars dont seat that. Our vehicle was really nice with great features and no issues driving it during our rental period. When we went to drop off the car, we were in the garage for less than 3 minutes! Comment: We always use Enterprise when we travel. Having two young kids car seats are important and Enterprise has always had a good selection of clean, quality car seats for all ages. This last trip Justin at SFO pick up was very helpful. While we had the rental there was a very noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the vehicle. When we returned the vehicle I mentioned it to our attendant Andrew who was amazing. His immediate response was “ That is not cool! How can I make up for that?” I solely intended to let them know so they could address the problem but Andrew asked me how much I would want discounted off our rental. I thought $50 was fair but he insisted on $100! Thanks Andrew and Justin, top notch service! I recommend Enterprise to any families traveling with young children.

Comment: When checking in, the agent was nice. When I went out to retrieve the car, I noticed the agent did not wear a name tag. He offered me a car with the windows all rolled down. Since I just dropped off the car via tow truck to the shop which was closing for the day, I rented from an airport location. I asked the agent who offered me the car if the car had a full gas tank. He said “yes” so I took it. I started up the car and it had less than 3/4 tank. In fact, it had an empty candy wrapper on the floorboard. Very disappointed. I went back to the little checkin office and waited. Finally, a young man helped me, offered me a car which I could not tell if there was damage because it was black color and we had limited lighting in an airport facility. Then the young man offered a silver color car which I could look for previous damage. I was disappointed in the car with 3/4 tank of gas. The return was fine. Would I rent from Enterprise again? Of course I would, this time was just a little lacking.

I use this Enterprise monthly to visit family and the customer service has always been very quick, friendly and helpful, the cars are always brand new and clean, and the price is only slightly higher than the budget places (very worth avoiding the lines, hassle and grief). Comment: Wasnt the cheapest option at first glance. However, we had multiple driver, excess cover, no mileage cap all included. Most other rental companies charged extra. So Enterprise was actually great value. Pick up was super easy and quick. One week into our 4 week road trip, a change oil soon message flashed up. Not good. Especially as it was a Sunday en-route to West yellowstone. Not much there except touristy establishments. Rang enterprise, asked if we could go to Enterprise at Idaho falls. We were 2 miles from the town and the airport was about a mile off of the freeway. Man from Enterprise came out, took car, changed oil, and had it back within 20mins. We went around the corner, checked the oil, and indeed, it was fresh oil.Got back to San Francisco 5000+ miles in total. Handing back was a well oiled process. Got our clean bill of health paperwork before Wed even got all our bags out. Very efficient. Great car.Highly recommended.

Comment: The whole process was great from beginning to end. The staff at San Francisco were very easy to work with and the girl in the car pickup area gave me a choice of 3 cars to choose from. When I dropped off in Sacramento, the process was very quick. Jonathan (I think I remember that was his name) was very nice to us and noticed that we were short on time so he was a life saver and offered us a ride to the terminal so that we wouldnt be late with the shuttle. It was our first time flying out of Sacramento and we obviously didnt plan well enough so his quick thinking and generosity was a lifesaver for us. I also liked how the toll unit is automatic but only activated if you actually use tolls and only once per day, and a small 3-4 $ charge (prevous rentals with other companies charged $30 or more for the unit and tolls on top of that). We walked into Enterprises outdoor pick-up area and Kai greeted us immediately and we were in our rental in no time! Kai was so so nice! My anxiety about flying and the overall trip was pretty high! All my questions were answered quickly, and Kai reassured me this rental was perfect for this trip. The rental was in fact perfect! Return process was also amazing! Your first time doing it, it seems CRAZY especially with anxiety and making sure you catch your flight! I booked a BMWX3 but was lucky and got a BMWX5 for the same price. Comment: We picked up a car and pre-paid what my wife and I both thought was everything up front, only to find out at drop off that it was more than twice what we paid up front due to an excess distance charge that kicked in from the very first mile driven. We didnt get to drive a single mile for free. None of this was disclosed to us by an agent when we picked up the car, and it was buried in their fine print. I thought this was a deceitful and unethical practice, and had someone disclosed this up front it would clearly have had an impact on our decision to go with Enterprise. I have used Alamo, Avis, Budget, and Hertz without ever having this problem. Contacting customer service was futile. They also provided us with a car with a gas tank that was only half full, and luckily we caught that before leaving the lot. Comment: For the most part, Enterprise has been great. This last rental was dicey. Not my choice but I was in a Dodge Journey. its a small SUB that sucks a lot of gas. Plus I had issues with the dome lights not going off. Switches seem not to work. I had to remove the bulbs in order to drive at night with them turned off this way. Not safe. Apparently there was another way to turn them off but when you pick up a car, there is little of a primer to review whats special about the rental as oppose to what you usually drive. I thank Enterprise for the credit of my frustrations for the cars dome lights.

So when I notice a nail in tire I pulled over loosing air fast . I thought I was okay since I knew there was a spare tire. Well sure enough it doesnt fit, wrong tire for vehicle .. 4hrs later I get a hold of road assistant since no answers from enterprise, after 2 no shows of road side assistant its not 5 hrs later and dark at a random gas station in middle of nowhere, praying for help . Finally got a Uber and had to pay for a tow of vehicle. Missed our dinner plans with friends since that was our main reason visiting California. Ive rented extended passenger vans, mid to full size sedans, lux elite SUVs, and pick up trucks. Most of their staff are a pleasure to work with and do their best to get you in and out. Ive used the pick up service once, and it really made my rental process easy.At SFO, I rented a BMW X7. It was clean and ready to go with everything I needed. The staff checked me right in on arrival, and I was in my vehicle and on my way in under 10 minutes.

Comment: We had an excellent experience when we returned the car back to the San Francisco airport. An attendant by the name of Lina was quick, friendly and professional and deserves kudos for the way she handled us. We pulled up and no sooner got out of the car and she was right there asking if we were happy about our rental. Her demeanor was so genuine and most appreciative. She acknowledged that we returned the rental early and allowed us a discount which is great service! Thank you Lina for your superb service!! We would be happy to rent with Enterprise again because of you!

Comment: Had the absolute best rental car of my life at the Enterprise at SFO. From the moment I checked in, it was efficient, friendly, courteous, and felt like white glove service. Same happened on drop off. Very efficient, seemed genuinely concerned about both the check in experience, how the car operated and he reminded us to check for cell phone chargers(clearly on of the most often forgotten item). In this world where employees seem to care less and less, Enterprise has figured out how to hire correctly. Keep up the good work please!

Comment: Ive been an Enterprise Plus member for over 15 years well before any points system or anything and there is always at least a handful of workers that represent Enterprise to fullest. Truly standing for what it means to be a part of the Enterprise family. Micheal at SFO you would usually encounter him in the garage where you would be picking up your vehicle. He knows what it means to provide customer service and not just back bite customers as they walk away or find any way possible to make the customer renting experience difficult. He should be used as a model employee for those who dont know how to deal with customers and actually provide proper service. Some people just got off 10 hour plus flights and just want to be treated with the respect that is returned. Not everyone who works at this location is friendly and welcoming but those that are will impress and leave you wanting to deal with Enterprise exclusively!

Comment: This was the fastest most efficient rental car rental experience Ive ever had in my life Im not kidding. I reserved my car online and when I got off the tram at SFO to enterprise I walked right up to the counter past the people at the Kiosk. And it literally took about 2 minutes top to get check in a go pick pick up the car. I was going to Santa Cruz so I wanted something sporty so I got the Dodge challenger it was a great choice. The car only had a 100 miles on it. It was pretty fast v8 but surprisingly great on gas. I decided after I dropped it off this morning that Im trading in my Sedan for one. The drop off was fast as lightning too I followed all the signs from the freeway and got to the enterprise drop off and they were already in waiting it too even less time for them to check the car for damage and gas. I paid with my debit card right there on the spot and I was on my way. It was the best experience Ive ever had at a car rental place so good job enterprise your employees are efficient, thorough, professional and very pleasant. Thank you. Comment: Im a loyal customer with Enterprise and Im always impressed with the fast pick up and return process with the team of excellence! I observe & time how the staff checks in the customers and how efficient and timely they are when trying to return the car as I catch my flight back home. Dont get me started with the awesome cost of the car rentals because the cost out price the competitors as well! Thanks for always being an enjoyable ride, Enterprise! Comment: Very bad experience i paid luxury card and they give me infinity 2021 smelled horrible. And the card very dirty this is secon time this happened to me i have the application but i can’t use it again when you pay the rent they show 1 car and when you pick it up they tell you we only have this one take it or leave it this company is bad and is gettin worse
