Comment: Zero stars Hopefully you never brakedown in one of their rentals.I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, specifically regarding the conduct of the Assistant Manager, Miguel.Our rental car broke down, leaving us stranded for three hours waiting for a tow. Following this, we had to arrange and wait for an Uber to take us to the Enterprise location. Upon arrival, Miguel informed us that there were no cars available and, to our shock, showed no empathy or concern for our situation. He was extremely rude and unhelpful, essentially telling us we needed to figure things out on our own.This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of assistance and courtesy from Miguel added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation.On the other hand one of their drivers named Kim had far more experience obviously than Miguel the assistant manager. She had empathy she listen to us. She showed what customer service should look like. Thank you Kim for your exceptional customer service.I expect better from Enterprise and hope that this feedback is taken seriously to prevent future customers from experiencing similar issues.

Comment: Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered! Miguel, the assistant manager lacked even the slightest bit of customer service. Our vehicle that was rented from another location broke down around 12. We had to wait for a tow truck driver to get us before we could then get an Uber to enterprise on Hunter Street almost 4 hours later because we could not get another enterprise vehicle until this car was towed. Once we arrived at the enterprise Miguel informed us THEN that they had no vehicle to accommodate us, and then instructed my manager she needs to figure it out even though she spoke to him TWICE since 12 and not once mentioned there was nothing to accommodate us. He said he told the roadside company and was waiting on them and made her call them. Who then had to call Miguel. Miguel then FINALLY called another location in Lodi to see if they had a vehicle and instructed the Lodi location that they will send us with a driver to complete the paperwork there and get us a vehicle. This has been a horrible horrible time. Miguel, I hope this company takes the time to invest in some customer sevice training for you, as well as training for reserving vehicles as another customer walked in ready for their reserved vehicle that was given to someone else and was not informed. Or if they have exhausted all training options on you, I hope they see the lack of potential you have to offer their company and find an assistant manager that is more effecient at their job. This was absolutely unacceptable service. Highly recommend finding another rental service or never coming to this location. Thank you to the driver, Kim, from enterprise to getting us to another location and helping us make light of the situation. Kim, thank you for understanding what customer service means and making sure we got to somewhere that WAS able to accommodate us. Hope this helps future people looking for a rental vehicle and never has to encounter this type of treatment.

I will say this, the downtown Stockton office was much quicker and attentive than the office in the auto mall. I will definitely be going through this office. If youre a new customer they have every car you want, small, midsized, large suv...if you have something checked out already and want to trade in they have nothing for you as its all reserve. If you have a small car its easier to upgrade, but if you have a large suv they conveniently have nothing smaller for you because they want you to keep the more expensive car.

Comment: I am a very frequent renter from Enterprise. Nowadays is hard to find good customer service. Service that other listen, and help with care and attentiveness. Prices are unmaintainable with all that we do yet aside from peek times Enterprise is very reasonable and reliable and easy to navigate. I personally am bias to all the guys at the Shoreline WA and Edmonds WA location. Theyre all very helpful, kind, and accommodating. Thank you all. Hope to continue renting here forever.

Comment: I left the Hertz rent-a-car because they had no available vehicles to rent one Saturday morning, walked one block to Enterprise Rent-a-Car at 5 minutes to closing and was out in 15 minutes with a vehicle. Their superb customer service and cordial professional manner of helping everyone who entered their doors has encouraged me to return numerous times for rentals that were well maintained, efficient and stylish, and they constantly maintain a ready supply of vehicles to choose from. I recommend them to all who live in the Stockton, California area! The staff who work their are to be commended for their excellence in service.

Comment: I had a fantastic experience at this enterprise 1/18/24.I was at a car body shop to leave my car for service and had Enterprise come to pick me up to get my car to rent.Eric was the driver & also the one to complete paperwork to get me on my way. His a very nice young man.Eric informed me that my Drivers license expired on the 8th. LOL I had no clue. I then asked Eric how far was the DMV from Enterprise as I was going to call Uber. Eric then excused himself and after talking with management he said that he would arrange for someone to take me to DMV office and that I can call when Im ready to be picked up with a valid license. All this was done with no delays.Once back my car was waiting and I was on my way back home in Turlock. Thank you all that assisted me yesterday. Btw Im a senior citizen.

Comment: My family and I rented a mid-size vehicle from this location while visiting family in Lodi. We had scheduled a pick-up from Stockton Airport. We also scheduled a drop-off back to the airport a week later. Both drivers were fantastic. Once at this location, the employees were so helpful and pleasant to work with. The 2023 Chevy Malibu was clean and great on fuel efficiency. Thank you for a great experience. I would definitely rent from you again.

He was very personable and seemed to enjoy helping me .Most of the staff that I’ve been in direct contact with, have been fairly pleasant . I haven’t had any bad experiences as far as customer service goes. However, I have experienced long wait times to pick up my vehicle( I always reserve ahead of time). I do understand how this could happen from time to time.

Changed times twice and when they had a car and called me, I told them I was returning to location where I needed to be picked up at and would meet them there. 40 minutes trying to contact them as they refused to answer phone, 40 minute prior to closing. Comment: Had a car dropped off at the autobody repair by enterprise while our car was being worked repaired. They dropped off an SUV, Nissan Pathfinder, that was supposedly the last one suv available. It was supposed to be a non-smoking car but reaked of smoke. It also was on Empty and only had 10 miles left for us to find gas. We took the car because we had no other option. We called the next day to try to exchange, and they let the phone ring for an hour straight till they were closed. We called the next 3 days in a row, and nobody would pick up the phone. We called corporate, and they assured us it would be resolved, but nobody ever called us back, corporate or local. It was the worst experience ever, every time we used the car we had to throw our clothes in the washer because they smelled of smoke so bad. Febreze failed to nulify the cars smell as well. This was from the Stockton Ca downtown location. When we spoke to our mechanic, he said this has been a common complaint about that location lately. I will never rent from that location again if I can help it.

Comment: They young lady I forgot her name. The car I was supposed to get had so much damage. She ask me if I take it she would give me a discount. But on my return, I had a problem with the next rep. He tried to tell me I had damage the car, thank goodness. The lady that helped me a couple days before was there, and she explained to him what happened.Even after she explained it to him, he still told me there were some damage where the car had already been severely damaged. The right side bumper was coming off. He even told me he saw in the notes. but he still want him to tell me if you asked me about the damage underneath the right side of the bumper I really do appreciate him talking to me about the damage that have occurred before I had the car. I gave the lady who help me 5 stars. The man that help me on my return one star. He just wanted to accuse me of damage in the car and I still. Bought the coverage to protect the car.

The associate said they had just opened and had to prep and wash car which I appreciate but it was the tone and attitude she used. Plus she didn’t see my reservation on Saturday and said it was for a Thursday. Returning the car was fast and trouble free with Mark. I’m very satisfied with Enterprise but some associates need to bet retrained!

The manager Manuel (I believe that was his name ) was so Awesome..Kudos to the gentleman that helped me rent my car and just an overall kudos to the entire staff that was there at pick up and drop off. The van was picked up on a very busy Saturday morning and Downtown Stockton staff was working hard to satisfy many customers. We found the Van and additional car seat ready and waiting for us; we were on our way in less than 15 minutes.When we turned the Van back 6 days later, things were much calmer; we were checked out in less than 5 minutes. Very satisfactory.

Brookline is awesome and funny to work with and she hooked me up with a good upgrade. Thanks Lorenzo for the ride and great conversation back! Comment: After arriving at Stockton Airport with reservations made online we got our luggage and called the stockton office. Stockton office said they were just left their with 2 customers and it would be 35 minutes. We found another couple their also trying to get ahold of the stockton office we were both trying to call after 35 minutes now the office is closed and no one answers. 30 minutes later a nice man from enterprise arrives. The other couple and my wife are driven 15 minutes to the office.7 enterprise workers are their no one cared to call us and say the drivers on the way.All paperwork is done we are walked out to our vechile as the tailgate opens a STRONG STRONG smell of mariguana is present in the vechile.We ask for another vechile and a king ranch truck is provided and the interior is clean and free of any smell. Vechile has a range of 68 miles left to empty.Outside of vechile is very dirty.This isnt the standards ive known Enterprise to stand for.I do google reviews and have over 25.000.000 views.All customers expect to have a clean sterilized vechile i see your covid standards are not followed or cared for.

I rented a small suv back in December for only 2 days, upon giving the suv back one of the team members there told me I had caused a crack on the windshield. I told him it was already there before we left and his answer was no it wasn’t (obviously). I gave them an extra 500 for my deductible on my insurance to fix it, now they’re trying to hit me with an additional 650! Over 1000 to fix a minor crack on a window. These people are scammers and leeches for this joke of a company. If you do decide to rent from them I HIGHLY recommend recording the vehicle you rent for ANY damage it has before driving off and avoiding what is happening to me.

This location says they have a high fraud problem and required me to pull up my paycheck stub to verify I work at the company, the car wasnt ready even after I spent 45 min talking to my cc company bc of the fraud alert that declined my card bc I was out of state. The car still had to be sprayed down. So it was not ideal visit at this location.

When I called enterprise they said it would cost me 55 bucks to get some one to come give me a jump. Mind you I’m not mechanically inclined and I recently tragically lost my husband in a car accident (reason I had to get the rental) he would have never let this happen to me.When I told the Customer service rep at the Hunter location in Stockton California upon returning the car (which I’d had for 4 weeks) all he said was, “I’m so sorry”. No compensation, no offer of any compensation.This is the fourth time that I’ve picked up a defected car at that location. I highly doubt if I’d return after this.I also have to mention the fact that every time that I’ve rented from that location that they would have me sitting waiting for an hour or more for the vehicle that I was picking up even though my reservation was made days before. Unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.I absolutely have a totally different experience when dealing with the Richmond hilltop location which I’ve been renting from for the last 3 years straight.Unfortunately I was terribly let down and unsatisfied with Enterprise..

Comment: I want to share the horrible experience I had with this location. I made reservations over the weekend late March to pick up a rental car that following Monday. I was already verified and was told just to bring my I.D and my debit card as well and then I would be on my way. Soon as I got there it was already a few people waiting to get their rentals as well. I was next in line and Dealt with Peter looking up my reservation. Upon first checking Peter informed me I was $1.37 short on my debit card and that I needed my paystub as well and to go to the bank just to deposit the $1.37. I drove to the opposite side of town obtained my paystub and deposited the $1.37 into my checking account. Soon as I walked back into this location, I noticed I was the only customer in there and Peter and the White Male manager walked past me talking to each other. When Peter finally acknowledged that I was there he immediately had a tone of disappointment and or bad news. Peter looked at my paystub and told me that he was sorry but they can not rent me a car because I do not have enough In home care clients. I was beyond shocked because these people sent me out twice just for me to come back and be denied because of Racial Profiling. I was already verified and even called corporate and they said they were shocked they would not rent to me. I then called the auto circle location and explained the racial profiling experience I had and the lady told me she doesn’t know why they did not rent to me because I am verified and ready to go for a rental. So then she apologized for their lack of professionalism and booked me later that day for a rental. I would never go back to the Hunter st location they are very unprofessional and will walk right past you with a smirk. Corporate has been made aware of the racial profiling I’ve received for no apparent reason and I am looking forward to resolving this issue and for the inconvenience. Also I found out today through corporate I still have a open rental contract with the Hunter st. location but they did not let me rent a car. Seems like Scam artists and racial profiling going on at this location.

They had to take me to Tracy, Ca. 20 miles away to pick up a van from there this already messed up my travel time. The van was dirty and 1/4 tank of gas. I was compensated with 15% off of my total, okay for that I guess. I had the van for 5 days and the air conditioner had a bad smell like vinegar every time I turned it on. I reported that when I returned it and he just said Oh wow. This was my worst experience with Enterprise that I ever had with them. We have rented from them before and never had been treated with such disrepect. We drove all the way to Stockton from Tracy to rent from them cause we had a pleasant experience before, they wouldnt work with us, we provided them with everything they needed then they said they wanted to do a credit check, the manager there was not very helpful he proceeded to make us feel not good enough to rent from them. We went to the one in Tracy and had NO PROBLEMS. We even got a free upgrade from the Enterprise in Tracy!

I bring those documents with me the next day, now they want a current paystub, and I dont work right now. No one else had documents with them. It was the guy behind the counter looked at me and told the people dont rent to him. As long as you have a credit card, amount for deposits and ID, theyre not supposed to do that.

Comment: Very long waits on Saturday. Rudest people I’ve ever met for enterprise and made me wait 2.5 hours to get a replacement car. I got here at 1028 am Sunday August 12 and didn’t leave till 1253pm. My first rental car got a flat after 5800 miles of driving it, couldn’t drive it much on a spare so the only place close by that was open was this place. When I did finally get a replacement car, they gave me an economy car when my contract was for a full size car, “it was the only car they had” it was FULL of stains, grease, oil, dog hair, AC didn’t work, very uncomfortable car, wobbled a bit, but I was sooo pissed and behind schedule I just too the damn car. They were very pushy in me signing for the car when I wasn’t done inspecting it, very rude. This place deserves 0 stars. My clothes smelt like grease and oil when I dropped this car back in yuba city. The enterprise there was disgusted with the car and said they were surprised they got away with that, so they went up to the higher management and was going to address this issue. Luckily the enterprise in yuba city helped me resolve this issue. I will NEVER go to this location again. I’ve never had issues with 6-7 enterprise locations till I came here.

Comment: Not friendly and reservations were not ready. We made an advance reservation at this location upon arrival I walked inside sit there for 10 minutes before anyone greeted me. My reservation was not ready they said if I wanted to wait about 30 to 45 more minutes they would have a car cleaned up for me and ready to go. I did not have time to wait and asked what else they had available they did have another car which was an upgraded fee they charge me the full price of the upgrade I got in it and it was completely out of gas and had not been cleaned either. They would be closed at the time I wanted to drop it off so they charged me a $25 drop off fee for me to take it to another location. Ive had good luck with Enterprise in the past just not this location. The guy who checked me out acted like I was an inconvenience and he was doing me a huge favor as it was a busy weekend for them, and my reservation meant nothing.

Comment: I used Enterprise for 11 weeks. I found my over all satisfaction to be very high. I would recommend that you refrain from using more than one card on file. There were charges on my credit card that I thought were paid by debt. Even though I made myself clear & credit card was for a refundable deposit only. The confusion was partially my fault for leaving the card on file. Nevertheless they were very helpful allowing me to exchange my cars, until I decided on which model I wanted to purchase brand new from a dealership. Comment: Overall, great experience with them. The only problem was they advertise they will pick you up. But then they couldnt pick me up from my home because they will only go as far as March Ln. They suggested I get a ride from my home to March Ln Target or Big 5 so they could pick me up there! I rented a car for 7 days, youd think they can go an extra mile or so to pick me up since I am paying a lot of money for the rental. I had to ask friends to pick me up and drop me off at Enterprise. Then when returning car, I had to ask someone to pick me up and take me home. Thats the only problem I had with them. The rental car was awesome and I loved driving it. Had no problems, it was great on gas. I didnt have to pay anything extra. Was able to use my AAA full coverage insurance (transferable to rental car) so that saved me a lot of money. I will rent from Enterprise again.

Usually get a pretty good rate, especially if you can rent from the city youre staying in, rather than directly from the airport, the savings are substantial!! This last time I went, I had reserved a midsize vehicle and when I arrived, they had none on the lot. They tried to give me a little dinky compact car and if I hadnt said no, they wouldve gladly gotten away with it! Instead, they ended up giving me a free upgrade to a nice pickup truck and also a 5% discount! Everyone was happy and it worked out great!

Beautiful brand new car with100 miles on it. They could have explained the very modern cruise control on the Toyota as that confused me but we figured it out together when I turned it back in. Return was easy. Parked my car on their lot to rent this one and put loads of miles on it. Id rent there again without hesitation.

We rented the Nissan Rogue in Capitola when my sad 2004 Subaru Forrester had to stay behind for major head gasket repairs. My husband got picked up, just like the commercials say, and driven to Enterprise Capitola to fill out papers, and return the employee!! What a GREAT car! Fun to drive, spacious but not too big...good acceleration as well!! Stockton Enterprise was the receiving lot Rental was one way--employees in Stockton efficient and professional. No issues. I would rent from Enterprise anytime I need a rental vehicle.

There is no compensation for this either. And when I shared my displeasure, the clerk argued with me about it. Poor customer service and hospitality for sure. Comment: The staff was wonderful and renting the passenger van was fast and easy but unfortunately we experienced an electrical problem with the van on New Years Eve, which totally ruined most of our plans for the day. We had to exchange the van at the airport which took us out of our way. The manager there was very professional and took care of us as fast as she could but the inconvenience of it all was the only problem. Im sure this doesnt usually happen but it did cause us to have a less the desirable experience and vacation. For that reason only I give it 3 stars. The first van was actually very comfortable and we enjoyed the drive. The second can was a Chevy not a Ford and it was ok.

If you are a citizen of another country and is using an international drivers license, the process of verification may delay the transaction. I have noticed that historical records are not used to verify the credential of the customer, otherwise delays could be avoided. Overall, the efficiency of the staff and their politeness are commendable.

I pay my utility bills on line, so I brought in the emails that showed cal water, Pacific Gas & electric and my retirement pay stub, plus At&t bill. Apparently, that wasnt enough according to your new policy. I had to text into my at&t account by then I am very upset. Since I rent regularly I decided to join Enterprise Plus only I had a problem using the Plus Points when I tried to reserve a vehicle on line, so I called Customer Service and was told I could only use them when I went to the Stockton Office who then told me I had to call an 800# specifically for Plus Point Members? but it was probably to late as I was returning the vehicle and noticed the points were never applied to my rental. No one was willing to go the extra mile for a regular customer and that was not good. Also, when I logged into my account Enterprise advertised for $9.99 for the weekend but I was told it was not available in my area any longer, then why advertise it? Comment: Aloha, I rent from Stockton Downtown Enterprise at least twice a year. I come in from Hawaii to visit my family and friends and mix it up with some business when I can. I am a realtor on the Big Island of Hawaii. The last car I rented was a Dodge Charger, I loved the car but the front windshield made it difficult to see in the reflective sun because it had a lot of tree sap on it only visible from the inside when driving in the bright sunlight. Customer service was more than happy to accommodate by reducing the fee and offered a discount on my next rental. I am a very loyal customer and will continue to rent from Enterprise, the friendly local guys/gals who value their customers.
