Jason was beyond helpful, friendly and he made sure I was completely satisfied before I left his location. I needed to rent a suburban at the last minute for a weekend get-a-way and I found one at his rental car location. I had Jason give me his business card and I will rent from his Enterprise store anytime I need a rental. Nice to have experienced great customer service at a time when I was in need.

Comment: I used to be loyal to this brand but I my car broke down and made a reservation online while my car was in the shop and when I went to pick up the car they failed to disclose their ridiculous deposit fee and they tried to up-charge me on everything if I absolutely didnt need to have a car for my sons radiation Monday I would have walked off right then and there. I paid $500 more than I anticipated. I will never do business with these people again. My original reservation was for $254 with points. You didnt even allow me to use my points and my total was $704.00 NOT cool!

Comment: Sitting here waiting to get my rental car while they wash my car for a second time because they were going to give it to me dirty, covered in dirt spots and water spots. When we got here, the front guy was extremely rude and rushing us, didnt even ask our names just said what to give him in terms of drivers license and insurance and debit card. Didnt explain anything to us. The options of cars too chose from, were all dirty with the previous drivers trash still inside. And for my economy option, there were only three cars to choose from, all with out of state license plates. For being a known rental company, I think they could have made their office and lot more inviting. I had a reservation time and so far I have been here for almost an hour waiting on them.

They allow you to book vehicles when they don’t even have a single one in-stock of any make. If you value your time and money, choose a different location and make sure to call to verify vehicles are available after making reservations. Looks like multiple people can reserve the same car which was one of the issues I faced with this enterprises. Horrible service. Don’t recommend anyone to go here.

Comment: Ive always had a positive experience renting through Enterprise. However, the last two times have not been pleasant. The car performance was fine and the customer service was, as always, exceptional. But the last two cars, while clean have reeked of cigarette and marijuana smell. There are decals all over the dash indicating no smoking, but obviously some are not abiding. Ive tried airing them out, air freshener etc., but they still reek every time I got in. Hopefully they will pay closer attention when someone returns it. Other than the foul smell, everything else about the car and the service was good.

I am happy with the customer service this time too, however, due to the overbooking of cars this time, there weren’t any vehicles ready at the time of my reservation. The kind employee did everything she could to fix the Situation, but I felt so bad for her to have to even go through that stress, caused by overbooking... Comment: I have been using enterprise for over twenty years and I have always been treated well and had great service. .....UNTIL .....my last rental. I rented a vehicle for a week. I always decline the insurance because I am covered. The gentleman (I use the term sparingly) that I rented the vehicle from asked me if I wanted the insurance to cover the car. I made a comment that I did not and my credit card will cover me and my full coverage insurance from AAA. The salesman said initial here and here and sign here.I did so. I should have read EVERYTHING....I thought I was signing the declination statement. Long story short when my wife returned the vehicle enterprise told her that I took the insurance. and charged me for daily rate. I realize it was my fault for not reading. My wife finally talked the RUDE salesman out of charging us the extra fee. ON TOP of all this after picking up the car it had an odor. It smelt like skunk. I thought the smell would get better. It did not. I drove about a hundred miles and began getting nausea. I called Enterprise and let the salesman know. He seemed not to care. It was too late to return the vehicle since we were on the road for a trip. When we returned the car the salesman denied the fact that the car smelled and said they clean all their cars. It smelled all week. It wasnt skunk ... it was Marajuana. I am sure it was the freaking salesman and his friend and didnt want to admit it. I will NOT rent from this Enterprise ever again (Santa Clarita on Soledad Canyon)

Comment: I wish I could say it was a pleasant experience; however, it was anything but that. I received a luxury class vehicle for a weekend trip. That evening before leaving I attempted to open the truck and load luggage to find that the trunk wouldnt open with the key fob or dashboard switch. Roadside assistance wasnt able to resolve the problem. So they directed me to drive the vehicle to an airport Enterprise to exchange it. This shows me that the vehicles trunk was probably never opened between rentals even to be cleaned. Maybe just an oversight.Driving it at night I found that the dashboard display kept popping on indicating that the hood was open. These types of problems can occur even in a well maintained vehicle.I was informed by the rental person that the windows had been tinted by the prior renter; however, they believed it was an added benefit! While driving the vehicle at night for the first time to exchange it. I discovered that the side windows were so dark that the mirrors were barely visible at all. Clearly much darker than the law permits. I drove the vehicle on side streets at night for about 45 minutes just to get it safely to the airport. They exchanged the vehicle without difficulty and admitted that it was negligent for them to have rented the vehicle in the first place. They were quite pleasant to deal with.To me knowingly renting this vehicle in this condition displayed malicious disregard for the safety of this customer. Upon returning the second vehicle I explained what had happened to the manager only to be told that he didnt really think it was that much of a problem. Its hard to trust or have any confidence in the integrity of a company that would respond dismissively to such obvious mechanical, electrical and most of all safety issues. Clearly Enterprise was not even interested in listening to my complaints let alone addressing them properly. Enterprise has been my car rental company of choice mostly because I have a local office. It will be worth the inconvenience to find a more customer oriented company to do business with in the future.

Comment: Please read this whole review and make sure youre not being screwed They are thieves. And your deposit is always different in Lancaster because of the general population. I was told this by two employees. I originally was renting from San Pedro and never had problems until I came to Lancaster. They took money from my account after I paid them and return the car. I need to add to my post I rent from Lancaster I used to all the time and they were calling me and asking for the car back I didnt return the car immediately at the time I wasnt able to come in the two days that they wanted to car back because I was in San Diego and when I did return the car to Canyon contract for another month they took the car from me and would not bring it to me anymore now I have lost all my membership status and none of my points were put on there cant understand what I did so wrong I paid everything and they took extra money that I did not get back this is happen very often to me through Enterprise at Lancaster when I was speaking about general population it had to do with color and I thought that was pretty rude because I come to a different community I have to be charge different prices on deposit and Im supposed to be dealing with Enterprise I believe they should all be the same and not continuously changing from week to week and they decided to just continued my membership and I was a good customer and spent a lot of money every month

Comment: Sadly have to give this location a one star review due to the assistant manager Troy. My husband and I have rented a handful of times within the last few months. Normally we receive great assistance with all the other employees, they are all very nice and accommodating. This particular incident happened early June, Troy blindly led my husband and myself into full coverage insurance and we are still waiting for a refund. Troy never once went over insurance plans with us. When he first showed us the car, I thought it was odd he wasnt helping us look for dings & scratches - I even asked him, and he said you guys are good, no worries. When we returned a few days later, the total of the rental more than DOUBLED our original price quoted for the car, when I asked the rep (not Troy) why - he said we opted into full coverage insurance. Of course, Troy wasnt there at the time to discuss. So we paid MORE for the insurance than we did the rental of the car. So I called and got the run around for a few days until Troy would finally take my call. When I did catch him on the phone, he didnt even discuss the issue, he immediately said - i have sent for a refund through my accounting department. I thought to myself, great - so he is taking responsibility and he seemed like a good dude and would do the right thing. On the same phone call, I asked him to send us an email confirming a refund, he straight up refused and said he couldnt. I ended the call knowing this was going to be the outcome, and I should have pressed for that email confirmation. So, a month later - still waiting for a refund I know why he wouldnt send a confirmation, he didnt want to have it in writing he was wrong and owed us a refund. Thanks for taking money out of the pocket of a disabled Veteran, you should be proud of yourself, Troy.

Comment: I was very pleased about the rapid service I received when renting a car. It is also wonderful thatEnterprise will pick you up and take you back home when you return the car. All the employees were very polite. I will definitely use Enterprise when I need to rent another car.Marie YoungThis time we were unable to take my friends in the car because one of the seat belts in the back was defective and wouldnt allow us to buckle it. We then Had to take two cars and pay for parking for two. Since I had such good servie in the past, I said things happen that Enterprise could not control. However, when I reported how it created problems because we couldnt all travel together which was why I rented a car, he barely apologize, and didnt check the belt. I told him he needed to be sure it would work for the next renter I felt he just brushed it off, when it ruined our days when we were out of town. The young lady who worked there was very polite and said she was so sorry, She was in the truck that took me home. I was so surprised about the lack of concern.

Comment: Service was outstanding. Policy behind that service, not so good. Office is a satellite without car-wash/cleaning service. This put unnecessary extra burden on employees. The car I chose as a rental was filthy. (It had been returned from PEP BOYs the evening before and hadnt been serviced yet.) While they washed/cleaned the car as fast and efficiently as possible, I felt obligated to offer a helping hand...and did. By the time I drove away, the car interior and exterior looked fresh and clean. Once at home I opened the trunk to pack our luggage, was disgusted to see trash including empty beer bottles, soft food wrappers, used tissue paper and personal hygiene articles (tampons), which I quickly disposed of. I dont fault your overworked staff for this: they were already behind the curve trying to clean a filthy car, minimize my wait and at the same time service other customers at the same time. Corporate policy is the culprit here.Let me repeat: service was excellent and my complaint is about your policy, not your dedicated staff! Regards, John Silvia

When I realized a day later that Id left some valuable and irreplaceable items in the vehicle, I got a total run around from the entire corporation, was put on hold, transferred, hung up on, etc. An absolute horrible experience. They should put all belongs left behind in that vehicle in a safe place where they can be received. So basically, if you leave anything in their vehicles, it will be stolen by them.

Other rentals require you to return the car after a month but not Enterprise. Again this year we rented for a month and even were upgraded. The agents always take the time to go through the mechanics of the vehicle to familiarize us with the car. It is always busy at the Santa Clarita office but they make the customer feel special.

Luckily for me I have not had the need to rent a car for the past couple of years until recently.I have rented 3 cars in the last 5 months. The cars that I have been given were dirty and not clean. There was dust all over the interior and dirt on the carpet. I cant believe they would rent cars in this condition especially when they have a porter onsite to clean cars.In addition to dirty cars, they rent cars without full tank of gas. I was given a car with 1/4 gas left in the tank. As a customer, you wouldnt expect to have to put gas in your rental car just after you just rented it.Another issue I had is that I rented a car for a holiday weekend. I made a reservation a week in advance. When I went into the branch to pick up my rental, there were people who walked in to get a rental and were given a rental. When I completed my paperwork for the rental, they only had one car available to me and the others were pickup trucks. The cars that were available to me were rented to people who just walked in. I think people who made reservations should be given priority for rentals over people who walk in and set aside cars for those reservations.There is definitely a lack of customer service and detail at this Enterprise location.

They were very courteous and explained all the car features to me. They said the insurance company should have offered me a sports car since that was the kind of car I had and they helped me get what I deserved to have . Comment: NEVER TRUST Enterprise Rent -A-Car.My wife and I rented a GMC YUKON from this enterprise rent a car location on Nov 7. 2013 for 2 weeks. Blake (assistant manager) inspected a car with us before pick up. He verbally mentioned that there was a small dent on right side upside wheel and my wife asked him about it.But he said that is NOMAL DENT and SMALL so dont worry about it so we did not worry about itand he DID NOT MARK IT on the yellow slip. (our big mistake was we didnt take a picture of it)When I returned the car, the other agent checked it and claimed me that there is BIG damage ( when you looked at it closely from behind angle it was the same spot where Blake told us) and has to be fixed. Blake and this guy forced me to sign it on the insurance accident claim(at that time I didn`t remember the damage was the same spot which was mentioned in the conversation between my wife and Blake at pick up)10minutes later my wife came down to the office and reminded Blake of the conversation about the dent. He agreed he said that, but when we went out to check around the car one more time with him he denied about it. In fact, they will charge us whatever they want for fixing the damage which is obviously preexisting condition though and we will have to pay for their claim. Now we regretted we made a mistake not taking a picture of every single detail at pick up and didnt leave any paper work about the conversation. Hopefully no one else would be fooled by them like us.

Someone later left a msg saying they could not get a van for Monday. No effort was made to offer an alternative. Clearly they didnt care about gaining a new customer.Got a van for less money at a place just up the road on Magic Mtn Prkwy.
