Comment: Rental was arranged by my insurance company because my car was stolen. I rented a car for $40/day, and was explicitly told it was all covered by insurance, except for about $13 in taxes. After I returned the rental, I was hit with $120 in taxes, which was over and above the $40/day. If I had been told that would be the case, I would have rented a less expensive car.

Comment: I have rented cars from Enterprise for a while, in various parts of the country. The office near my house is convenient because it is close. The staff is friendly, cars are always ready, clean. Sometimes I think a little more instruction on operation of the car, or how to use the radio would be helpful. We never figured out how to tune the radio on this car. (Of course, we could have read the owners manual)Check in on returning the car was also quick and easy. I will be back the next time I need to rent.Update: I did return calling for a car the same day. Maria was very helpful, had the car and got me on my way quickly. Checkin with Mickey was also quick, easy. The service here is incomparable.

Comment: Our Camry rented from another Enterprise in Arizona had a bad tire, and we were in the area so we came here for an exchange on Friday afternoon. We were given a dodge journey and in the rush to exchange cars, we left some personal stuff in the Camry. New car vibrates at high speed, so we called right away and asked our other car back, also told them about our stuff: a lifetime national park pass and window shades. Two days later, on Monday, when we called again we were told our Camry was fixed and we told them we will be there at noon to switch. When we got there, our Camry was rented out and we were told nothing was found in that car.We got a Nissan Altima and drove away - then we got a call from this location asking us to check whether there is a set of Audi keys in the car, and yes there is. This shows how bad they manage their inventory and peoples stuff in the cars. I think Enterprise needs to reimburse me my notional park lifetime senior pass.

Comment: From the moment I walked into my Enterprise location at LaCienega and Pico, Assistant manager Justin Jerro made me feel welcome and took my pre reservation for the following day. He asked where my car was, and when I told in in the body shop being repaired, he informed me about the insurance - body shop rate that I qualified for! It was a huge savings for me. He had the car I selected cleaned and ready to go within minutes. He showed me how everything works in the car, and even set up my mobile phone so it would be hands free. He explained all the charges and I drove off the lot in my rental as a happy Enterprise customer/ The same treatment was offered when I returned the car - the check in was easy and quick, and they offered to give me a ride to the body shop to pick up my car! I declined because I had a ride, but it was just such a welcome and kind experience. I noticed they treated the other customers in the shop with the same respect and consideration, and I was very pleased with the way this young man handled his job. Kudos to Justin and the other young man named Craig were great - they and greeted everyone with a smile and were very efficient. Who ever said these GenX young people have no social skills was wrong. These two young men represented Enterprise very well! Please let them know what a good job they do -Tina Stephens

The biggest issue I have with them as a company is it can be quite difficult to get through to them on the phone. However once you finally get through, they do their best to accommodate you.

Comment: Any reasonable person would understand that rental car facilities can get very busy. I dont understand low ratings based on having to wait for your turn in line. With that said, the staff here were very accomodating under the circumstances. And when, unfortunately, we had an issue with our original car, they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I found everyone to be friendly enough while trying to be efficient . My only note to management, if youre reading this, is that I would rather wait another 5-10 minutes and have the car properly cleaned before handoff. My car was basically rinsed off and the interior needed some attention.

When I got there I was told that the car I wanted had been rented out at 2pm and they didnt have a car for me! My insurance agent called them before I got there and they left her on hold for ten minutes...I had to remind them to pick up the call.They miraculously found me a car...Enough said.

Comment: We had such a bad experience, will never use enterprise again. We rented an SUV that was dirty and infested with bed bugs. After loading our luggage, 4 month old, and 5 kids, we all started getting bit by bugs within 30 minutes. We had to delay our trip by several hours in order to go in traffic and replace our car at another location since they were out of stock. Had to do the whole unloading, reloading, nurse baby, bathroom breaks, feed the kids etc all over again before we took the trip ultimately having to get a hotel that evening. We had to take all our belongings and spray them with.a.special chemical and put them in the dryer to make sure we didnt take the bugs with us. My daughter was bitten the most with bites all over her forearm. Our trip was significantly altered and delayed thanks to enterprise. When we called them to alert them right away, it appeared to be no surprise the rental was dirty. They reported they had to get it from the other location and were shocked to see it in that condition once they got it. Go elsewhere do not rent from enterprise if you want a clean normal experience.

If I could MINUS 5 stars I would.I rented a car, brought it back in immaculate condition, and only received half of my deposit back.When I started calling, the branch manager was incredibly rude and hang up on me several times, and refused to provide a resolve, even when we did a three way call with my bank, providing them the facts and evidence that Enterprise owed me half my deposit.Finally, through a higher up regional manager (Eric) who had the common sense to actually contact the accounting department, Enterprise finally (three months later) credited me with the other half of my deposit.Oh, but the story doesnt end here. ONLY to receive a letter from Enterprise two weeks later that I was owing them $150 (the half of my deposit that they had just returned to me) and that if I didnt pay them, they would send it to collections.WHAT?! IN?! THE?! HOLY?! F?!NO sense of business at all.

My roommate rented a car from this place several months ago and when the pre inspection was done he pointed out a small dent and scratch on the passenger side on the lower part of the front. The rep indicated that was not a problem as it was part of the car the history. When the car was returned, another rep said that he need to pay for that scratch and dent cause it was not marked on the pre inspection. Horrible way to steal your money and fix their cars on your dime. I wouldn’t rent a car from this place and I have been telling anyone that has ears about my experience. Worse rental car place ever!

Comment: They blamed a bumper being loose on usEven though we picked the car up that way.Here is the info for rental car:Reservation Number: 493480Claim Number: 000000001621180We did take the car the way it was, i.e. the back bumper is loose a bit due to missing a screw or something else. My son was the one who noticed that form the get-go and he brought it to their attention.When we returned that car, the agent said, this might have been there before or may it was caused when we had the car and someone trying to park his car bumped up against the back bumper.Again the we took the car the way it was, and did not cause any further hanging of the back bumper which is like 2-3 milli-meters, but the agent said that he understands that we are not at fault, but still has to report this!Enterprise has sent me and email to provide my credit card and/or insurance policy. This is totally absurd! I have forwarded the email to my lawyer.I am not happy about this at all!

Comment: I have to rent a car quite frequently for work but because of short notice and my usual rental company did not have a larger SUV in stock, i had to settle with enterprise. I was initially unimpressed with a number of issues. First, they gave me the car with the fuel pretty much below empty. Second, the vehicle was not clean( dirty napkins tucked between the seats and hair everywhere!!) Overall just not impressed with the customer service either. It is safe to say I will think twice before giving Enterprise my business again.

After a recent search, I selected the Enterprise Rental Car on the corner of La Cienega & Pico Blvd as its near my house. I made an online reservation and on the day of pick-up I was greeted by Customer Service Reps Sherman and Freddie. Two GREAT guys. Their fellow employee Jesse was helpful. Sherman walked us through our options and Freddie helped us upgrade once we realized we had two small a vehicle for our gear. I just cant thank these gentlemen enough for their class and their great humor. Its a pleasure to work with these folks and this is why Im a loyal Enterprise customer.

Comment: They gave me a rental pick-up “truck” not washed inside or outside. No gas, without a choice. The customer service was rude and not nice. Moreover, the car/truck immediately had TWO flat tires. I called dispatch to assist on a tow without fail, no one showed up. Wasted my day. I had to get the vehicle fixed and the cost was billed to me. So, now I’m paying for a rental vehicle that is not usable or drivable, and I’m out of pocket on the repairs and tow on a vehicle that isn’t even mine to own! That was not it...another flat tire occurred and the same issue occurred yet again. No tow truck shows up. I pay yet again for a repair and tow on my own dime. This was a nightmare. I definitely recommend hertz or another rental company that is more reliable and friendly. Enterprise never even reimbursed me for the costs occurred nor did they pay me back for the rental fee for the days the vehicle was undrivable! BEWARE OF THE 1435 s. La Cienega Blvd Branch in Los Angeles, California.

Comment: Everyone there was very friendly. There was a good selection of SUVs. I had reserved a standard size. The agent went outside with us and said I should sit in the Journey, the Equinox, and the Escape. She turned on the air-conditioning in all three.I chose the Escape, but just then a staff person came out and told my agent that the Escape needed an oil change, which would take 20 minutes. I expected my agent to ask me if I wanted to wait, or take one of the other two. Instead, she offered me a Durango at no extra change. We really enjoyed it! When we returned it, they drove us to a restaurant. Ive never rented from Enterprise before, but G_d willing, Im going to again!

Comment: I go here at least once a year and every trip is an experience! Not necessarily bad but always interesting. This year, I opted for a luxury car and they originally gave me a MB C250. I drove off in it and returned after 3 blocks as my back had already begun hurting. I did change the ride from sport to, I guess, regular but this was not the car for me at this time. Now, this is a small location and they do not have a lot of cars. Upon my return, my options were a Dodge Challenger, a Nissan pick up truck or a Nissan Altima. Remember, I had requested a luxury car. So I took the Nissan Altima as it was a nice sedan. Good pick. This car had excellent mileage and it drove quite well on the way to Las Vegas. A few times, i had to back off as I was almost at 95 (hope CHP is not monitoring!!). Anyway, drove this car to Vegas; drove around in Vegas and finally put some gas in the car at state line on the way back to L. A. on Sunday. Got back to L. A. and still had more than a half tank of fuel and a fuel range os more than 360 miles! Mind you, I carried 7 bowling balls and had 2 passengers and a trunk full of packages. Will definitely do this car again. Well, upon my return to Enterprise, I received my bill and I had to remind the agent that I did not have a luxury car. After he recalculated, my bill was approximately $140 less. Now, I received very good and courteous service from Enterprise, both coming and going but I should not have had to tell this agent that I was paying for a Nissan Altima, not a Mercedes C class!. I will say that, overall, I had a good experience with Enterprise but I have a fight with them every year as to which vehicle I receive. Guess, what; on my next trip I will still use Enterprise because their rates are very competitive. A comparable vehicle at Hertz was more than $300 dollars for the same time frame. I also had full coverage. Ok, I ramble. Enterprise, I will see you again on my next trip. Thanks!!!
