Made our weekend horrible made a reservation for Monday 0800 picked up this idiot staff called last minute before there office closed saying she has to put me into waiting list due to they’re fully booked. Comment: Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this location. I made a reservation. They notified me that everything was booked well and sent me the conformation information. Then like two hours and half before they closed Jacob called me to notify me that they didn’t have any cars left. I started searching for other options because it was imperative that I had a rental since I had a business trip to Southern CA. Appropriately 20 minutes later, another person, Michaela, called me to inform me that she was just calling to confine my reservation. I explained to her that someone had called to cancel my reservation. She said it was still there and she had a car available. I asked her to assure me that they would have a car available since I really needed one. She assured me a car would be available. An hour later Jacob called again and left a message stating they had my car available. I went to pick up the car, and Michaela said that unfortunately they didn’t have any cars available. Honestly, I am so disappointed with their lack of organization and professionalism. Thanks to then I might not make it to my appointment and now I will look like the unprofessional one. I will also lose money since this project is very important for my business. You simply cannot trust enterprise when they do not keep their word and side of the contract. They give promises and assurances they simply don’t keep!

Comment: I was scrambling to book a last minute rental here due to the Hertz in Fairfield messing up my reservation the day I was supposed to pick-up. Enterprise made the process quick and easy. They were very communicative and there was barely a wait time. Everyone hustled and was so nice even on a hot day where they were clearly quite busy. I would highly recommend renting from here and shout out to David for being so knowledgeable and kind!

Comment: I recently rented a car with enterprise phone app and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived at the rental counter, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Vacaville location is very friendly.I was particularly impressed with Amaryllis attention to safety. They provided me with a thorough overview of the cars features and made sure I felt comfortable before hitting the road. It was clear that they take safety very seriously, which gave me peace of mind during my travels.Overall, I highly recommend Amaryllis for anyone in need of a car rental. Their service is top-notch, their cars are in great condition, and their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Comment: I’ve never in my life sat in a rental car shop for over 50 minutes to pick-up a car that I scheduled an appt. to pick-up. Absolutely insane. The clerk at the counter was overwhelmed and there were at least 7 people in their tiny lobby waiting. It was like going to the DMV. If the airport can have you out in 5 minutes, please explain why this took almost an hour with a scheduled appt. time! Never again. -And to add insult they didn’t have the class of car I was supposed to get (standard sedan) and told me I was getting an upgrade which was to the smallest “suv” that looks like a mini car.

Comment: The Branch Manager, Rachel Jones, and her team were a blessing to deal with. The team came to the rescue by coordinating with other Enterprise offices in the local area to get a vehicle to fit our 10-member family in for a roadtrip to Arizona. It was a short-notice, but the team was able to fulfill the request and get us the van needed without any delays to our trip. The experience was 180 degree shift from the unprofessional treatment received from a rival rental car company (hertz) despite booking a reservation 2.5 months in advance.

Comment: Manager Ana Duenas Andrade is completely unprofessional and wasnt able to complete my rental due to her zero inventory and her lack of customer service skills. She made me and another man wait for over 1.5 hours that ran over closing to get a car and then to tell us they didnt have the inventory i was to get. Manager showed me a car it had been smoked it. I declined as I am allergic to smoke. I asked to be upgraded, she straight out refused even after I asked her to contact her district manager. I She then told me she didnt have enough staff to complete the customers there for cars. her words you need to leave, I need to go home to my kids .I even asked for the district managers contact information and she REFUSED to provide it. Enterprise will never get my business after this horrific experience. If I could give them a negative 10 I would. After nearly being there for two hours, I left with no rental car and so did the other man that she discriminated against in the last hours of her shift.

I rented a vehicle few weeks prior with debit card with no issue. The morning of reservation I call in to confirm everything which they inform me now I’m unable to pay for this vehicle with debit card. Ruined my family’s whole weekend. Very unprofessional. They should stand by what they tell you and they don’t. Highly recommend going else where

Comment: I was treated unfairly most likely discrimination, although I had money in my account to cover the Rental. I was placed on the “Do Not Rent” list and an Investigator called me about the car being reported stolen. Im gonna look into what can be done about this because they lie about running your card then refuse to run the card but once you bring the car back then they say you can pay the balance but you were trying to make payments the entire time you had the car but they wouldnt charge the card. I called my card account and asked how many times were attempted to charge the card. They are liars.

The license shows expired but I have a valid drivers license. I am visiting family for Christmas. Kathryn told me that I could not rent a vehicle. I flew in too late to renew my license and I will fly out before the dmv is open. Terrible service for military members. And they were ver short and not very nice. Would not recommend.

Comment: I drive Enterprise rentals for months at a time. The latest one I have, had to be taken straight to 5 Star Car Wash to have the seats shampooed on my dime. It was so nasty I couldn’t stand it, but nothing else available to drive…. It also had a broken wiper blade. They told me to take it to Firestone. I sat at Firestone for 2 hours waiting on Enterprise Corporate to approve the repair. The approval never came. At the 2 hour mark I requested the keys and walked out. I went to Autozone and fixed it myself. Again at my own expense. Very limited vehicles available and the ones they do have are alway beat up and dirty. The people that work there are always nice and work hard, but there’s not much they can do to get a vehicle that’s doesn’t smell like weed or have stains and other odors. I understand the limited availability of vehicles, but even if you only have very used cars, at least you could have them well cleaned and odor free. It’s like no one takes pride in having clean cars for the customer. I hate going to Vacaville Enterprise!

Comment: I recently got into a fender bender, and my insurance set me to this location. I am active duty military, so I was taking time out of my day to get my vehicle. I was given a vehicle thats registration was 3 months over due. I got pulled over several times due to this issue. The vehicle wasn’t fully cleaned, I found items from previous drivers in the vehicle. The vehicle smelled like smoke when I first got it & was inform that I wouldn’t be charged but they did not offer another vehicle. The cover behind the steering wheel was completely gone. The gas tank latch was reattached with tape. Lastly, the charging port in the back seat was just an empty hole, it wasn’t useable. The employees informed me they didn’t have any vehicle of my size to exchange the vehicle for and that I would be given a smaller vehicle instead. They did not try to compensate for anything, and did not care for my time. They were rude on the phone, and it would take about 10 calls to even get ahold of someone so I would always have to take off work to physically show up. I do not recommend.

They have no manners and completely disrespectful to clients. Not just to myself but others attempting to rent a car. I say “attempting” because they never actually have the car you booked. If you can avoid this location it maybe beneficial to help and allow training to take place to ensure proper customer service.

Two different times I was promised a certain type of vehicle for rental and both times I did not get what I specified even though reservations said they would have the vehicle available. The owner or management needs to get more inventory or train the staff not to promise something they cannot deliver on.Update: Kathy, Anna and Shelly are all so wonderful and despite being very busy and short on inventory they are still in great moods. I appreciate their help. Kathy called me later in the day to let me know a vehicle was ready for me. That was me quicker than I expected. Thank you to all of you.

Comment: Rental was clean, available, and ready for pick up. Staff at local branch was courteous and kind. Process of reserving was quick and easy, used the app. Process of extending the rental by two days was a bit of a hassle, had to reach someone at the local branch and speak directly, couldn’t be extended through the app, though there appeared to be a quick button for it. It redirected to a phone number, where I was on hold for an extended period of time, then told to call the same number back and choose a different selection to reach a local branch, couldn’t be transferred apparently. Ended up looking up number for local branch and calling directly where I was then on hold for another extended period of time. All was well with the rental otherwise. Returned after hours with a full tank of gas, picked up at half a tank, slightly inconvenient, charged an additional days rental for dropping off after hours. It’s their policy, ok. Had to call and request reimbursement for gas as I left it with double what was in it when I received it, otherwise that would’ve been another expense. If I didn’t refill, I would be charged an exaggerated rate per gallon, but my reimbursement rate for refilling was standard rate per gallon. I later received a bill from enterprise for bridge toll, which due to covid, no one can stop and pay anymore, everyone is billed. Enterprise tacked on a huge “convenience” fee, almost tripling the cost of standard toll fee, again, their policy, and if that wasn’t sufficient enough, felt to bill me 50 cents more today, 3 weeks later. Which prompted this honest review of their fees and services. Price gouging customers isn’t cool! Will be looking into other options for rentals in the future.

Comment: Was provided a rental by the enterprise car dealership due to the car I had bought from them 2 days prior had mechanical issues. The rental staff were friendly at check out however always get a condition report from them before you leave. The staff said they noted all the body damage however enterprise sent me a claim stating I dented one of the doors which had already been pointed out prior to my taking possession. It was a fight but they finally dismissed thier claim. I will never buy a car nor rent from Enterprise again given all the issues.

Comment: The young man who helped us was terrific. We needed a vehicle right away and he found the perfect car for my wife to use while ours was in the shop for repairs. We returned the vehicle early and he once again was very helpful. I did not get his name but we sure hope you keep him on staff as he is a bonus to your company.One detail we need to mention - We drove the car maybe 25 miles, but when we filled it before returning it the car took 5.24 Gallons, so it wasnt full when we picked it up. The prior renter cheated on you and on us. You can find out who that was by reviewing the rental history on that vehicle.

Comment: When orginally called to reserve my rental I explained I wanted a minivan...I called a week ahead of time. Not what I was given..I was given what i call a tank. I even explained on the phone i wanted something with the best gas mileage as i was driving 2 states away. After receiving the car I was given I wasnt happy with it so I went to another location to try and exchange vehicles...unfortunately they had nothing so I had no choice but to drive what I was given. The drive was awful. Upon my return the employee did give me a $50 reimbursement for my troubles which was great. After getting home we realized my daughter left her switch game and entire case including all games in the seat back pocket behind the passenger seat. Of course they say it wasnt there. But it was. Our fault for leaving it there but they were no help at all..wouldnt even return the call to help me file a report of a large theft complaint..I will never use this company again and detour everyone I know from doing so

Comment: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would with no hesitation. This out of the way place, I had never visited nor heard of. When I say they treated me as if I were a VIP person. I was running late, and they calmed me down saying everything would be fine. No I didnt believe them at first, however when it got close to closing time, wait what I get a call, of course I thought it was going to be the were going to close on you call, NO, it was not. It was a call l wasnt expecting. They told me your rental is ready and were going to be here when you arrive. Now I wasnt that far away, however it was still a lil past closing time. Now Mel at the Vacaville, Ca enterprise is a Saint, wonderful person, caring, warm, down to earth person, shoot I could go on and on. I have to say the most about Mel, however I think his name is (Tom) please forgive me if im incorrect about his name, but the whole office is the the Sh*@. cant cuss on here, but they just made my day so much better. I was 500 miles from home, and would have been in a sure jam if they were just average. Both of them Mel and Tom are for sure in my book GM material, Manager is not enough to say how they treated me. Mel is the one who took me to the rental so I can talk for days and weeks about her. If all companies had employees like them business would thrive. Comment: Ive rented from Enterpirse for more than 15yrs . Im originally from Chicago and moved to Northern California a couple of years ago. Ive rented from Enterprise here twice . Each time there seems to be a different requirement to rent. In the past whenever Im renting using a credit card there is no deposit required, I just need to have the amount of the car rental available on my card. On August 25th I rented a vehicle and was going to use my credit card and was told I needed a $200 deposit + the amount of the rental. I didnt have the total amount available on my credit card but I did have money in the bank . This was a huge inconvienence as I ran out on my lunch not anticiapting the delay . I decided to go ahead and use my deit card, but then I needed to go back home to retrieve proof of address . I had to provide a check stub as well as a utility bill. I did do that but the inconvienence was ridiculous. This information regarding a deposit being needed wasnt provided for me when I called a week prior to make sure I had everythng needed to rent the car. I was told to just bring my DL and credit card . I ended up being gone for nearly 2 hrs from work, my boss was calling my phone upset that I was gone for so long. It was unnecessary stress that could have been avoided had communications been clear. Renting a car has become a traumatic experience here of late, with all the hoops youre required to jump through. I certainly didnt feel like a valued customer, as a matter of fact I felt like Enterprise acted as if they were doing me a favor for a nominal fee...If were the customers why are we not being accomadated when they screw up in communcating effectively. I did end up renting the car but not without being frustrated, aggravated and inconvienenced 1st to the tune of more than $500 of which $200 was a deposit. I dont know what can be done but as a consumer this is not what I expect to deal with when making such a simple transaction . If Im on file as a customer all this other information shouldnt be required . Im already on file with a rental history so why take a person through all of this unnecessary red tape. It is certainly a deterent when I think of renting a car again.

I chose the VW Atlas as I like that manufacturer. The site said I could pick up the car in an hour at the office near me. I went there and the clerk said that the web site is never correct and didn’t have an Atlas available. I asked for him to honor the commitment but said he couldn’t. He offered me a Nissan vehicle but at a higher price. I went round and round with him but he would not budge on the price so I left. Comment: There was confusion with our rental. Even though I had called a few days in advance to be sure we would be all set. The communication between the local business and the corporate office struggles a great deal. There can be issues with out of state guest traveling that need a car rental .Although the employees are pleasant it doesnt make the experience less frustrating. The mini van rented had A/C issues and did not properly cool the interior of the car. After driving it for a few days it was clear it needed maintenance. The power steering struggled and there were other noticeable maintenance issues. None that would make the car unsafe just unpleasant to drive. Between the unacceptable communication issues and the car not being in great shape I cannot recommend this rental location.

Comment: As a frequent customer of enterprise at several locations, I am very disappointed in my experience at this location.It seems like we are not given any options lately. We had an older vehicle so when it needed service our dealer would provide us with a rental.The agents who have picked me up are usually very professional and kind. The assistant manager is sour and rude. Anytime Ive requested a vehicle that can accommodate our needs she immediately tells me they are all rented out already. She never greets anyone or smiles. Ive seen her interact with others this way, so I know its not just me.One time I was only given the option of two very large trucks, another time a tiny sedan, and this last time a suburban! Anything else, like a small SUV or minivan and I am immediately told no by the assistant manager. This is where I wonder if Im treated this way because the auto dealer is paying, not me?All of the vehicles have looked like they had a very quick cleaning and several times Ive found items left in the vehicle from a previous user or things like finger nails, which tells me it wasnt really cleaned.The last two times I have been escorted through the office to the back to get my vehicle. Other customers receive actual customer service and the vehicle is driven around to the front for them.I was told the wrong amount of gas to return it with and then was charged well above what it would have taken.I dont think I will ever rent from this location for personal use. Ill drive out of my way to go to different one where my business matters and Im treated with dignity.

They are not safe to drive so will be at the car wash when they open in am..I intended to take off early but tgat isnt going to happen. I doubt if detailer will be there when you open at 7:30 sooo . Comment: The ladies that work at this location where GREAT. We needed a ride back to Travis AFB and instead of dropping us at the North Gate she took us all the way in to Lodging. The only improvement I can suggest is that they make sure the gas is topped off the gas before they let a car go out. It hard. It is hard on a customer to hit 7/8 or 5/8 mark. It is easier to just fill the car up to full. Car rentals can get extra gas when a customer overfills the gas mark.

Comment: I rented a car for one week. The first day of driving a VW Jetta it overheated and had to return the next day. They then gave me a Nissan Sentara. A few days later this car would not shift and I was two hours from home and it was 1:00 am. Called road side assistance and was told I had to pay for a hotel room for the night and a local office would pick me up in the morning. My car experience was terrible. My local enterprise store was apologetic but they did not offer any kind of compensations for all the trouble.

Comment: Mom didnt have a credit card and the guys and gal there, ensured she had the required documents to use debit card. The orange ofdice, even called the night before as a friendly reminder. Ive rented with them twice and have no issues. What was funny was mom who is older said, they will even pick you up. I said yes mom. I will be doing business with them again soon.

Comment: The staff were all friendly, professional and had the car ready and cleaned.My only critique is enterprise needs to lower the down payment. Also they need to remodel the office as you have your staffworking in a box pretty much. Its looks unprofessional.Also I know that smoking is not allowed in the vehicles but the cars always smell like smoke. I do not smoke and have kids and wish they really got on people for smoking in the rentals.

Comment: I was treated with nothing but respect, I cannot beleive they were that fast!! I was in and out in 5 minutes tops! They didnt push anything on me that I chose not to get, like all the other rental car places that I have dealt with. I will definatley be going to this place from now on.... good place for sure
