Comment: The very worse Rent a Car employees. Do not get victimize, stay away from this place.This happened on Thanksgiving weekend. I rented a car on this place because my car was in the service center. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, I arrived at Enterprise Rent a Car around 3:45 pm to get the Car, a Chevy Spark 2021 model gray color. The Enterprise Employee walked me through the vehicle to inspect it, and I saw a Small Chip in the bumper on the drivers side and a couple of scratches and I showed it to the employee of Enterprise, and that employee told me that if it is a small chip and small scratches, Enterprise covers that and no need to record that and you do not need to worry about it, a doubt came to my mind, so I took some pictures of the car. And I asked this employee, if they had insurance that covers everything and he replied “NO and he read to me several insurance option, which if I get all of it, then the car would be fully covered, but the cost is very expensive per day, so I decided not to use the Enterprise insurance, and I used my own car insurance.Saturday, November 25, 2023, around 9:30 am, When I arrived at Enterprise Rent a Car to return the rented Car, a Very Young Lady that looks like a High School, Maybe a New Employee who wants to impress her manager, took a picture of the same small chip in the bumper on the drivers side and she said that they would file a claim in my insurance. Arguments happened, the enterprise male employee who did the walk-through inspection with me, the same employee who told me that those small damages were NO need to be recorded, does not want to comment and he moved away from the conversation.I did NOT sign any documents that I admit that it was my fault. After couple of days, I received an email from Enterprise that I need to pay $600+ for that same small chip in the bumper of the rented car which was there already when I rented it, and there was a document saying that it was my fault with a signature that looks like a line which is NOT my signature.Read this, lots of times, Me, my friends and my co-leagues uses enterprise rent a car if we are vacationing out of town and we recently used Enterprise Rent A Car in San Antonio, TX, and there was no problem, smooth system, professional employees, great insurance coverage for rental cars. The Enterprise Rent a Car location between Van Nuys Blvd and Oxnard St. have the worse customer service, very unprofessional and inexperience employees.

I went there few days ago entire lot was full my coverage was $40 a day they gave $32 scratched up car. They told me to come back when lot had lesser car they supposably will give better car. I came today, Jenifer manager is like whatever we replace with we have to charge you, we dont have car. Clearly cars where there, people with no reservation would step in and get in. Only reason i used it this this time is because of insurance supposably had good rates with them. This will be last time using.

Abel was very helpful behind the counter. The manager texted me during the rental period to check in and see if I was satisfied with the car. And when I turned the car in at the end of the day on Friday, Monica was nice enough to give me a ride to my mechanic even though she was done with her shift. Much appreciated!

I was visiting my niece in Los Angeles and called the online listed local number of the closest Enterprise listed to where I was staying, which was in Van Nuys. The woman who answered promised a car would be ready by 2pm. She took my name, address, phone, email and drivers license over the phone. My husband and I ordered an Uber about 1:45 to go pick up the car. Just as we approached the Enterprise building, a staff person from that location called my cell to tell me that THEY DIDNT HAVE A CAR FOR ME! She actually said that the people who answer the (local) phones are national reps and dont really know if we have a car or not!!! She was sorry but there was nothing she could do ... not even reimburse me the $22 for a round trip waste of an Uber! Not. Ever. Using. Enterprise. Again. Ever. As Seinfeld said, Anybody can TAKE a reservation ... you have to hold the reservation ... its the most important part!

Comment: I should be writing a review with one star, and normally I would. Twice in the last 5 months, I rented from this location in Van Nuys, being a long time customer there. My last two rentals experienced the same problem: as I was driving each car, multiple warning lights lit up the dashboard. Since I was out of town bot times, I had to hope I could get the car to the airport for a switch. I did both times, but the events messed up a lot of my vacation time. I wasnt happy. What made the experiences somewhat better were employees at Enterprise. The airport staff both times worked fast to get me a new vehicle to get me on my way. Once I returned the car on my most recent trip to the original location, I want to say Ray at this Van Nuys location stepped up. He did give me a partial credit for the inconvenience of it all, with no hassles. It still isnt a great recommendation that twice I rented cars with the same mechanical issues. But what made a bad situation better was how the people at Enterprise stepped up to make it right.

Comment: I had an appointment on this day that I set up with Nie at 2:30 PM. When I got here it was roughly 1:45 PM, and there was two customers in line. Clearly they were short staffed so I waited my turn. The 2 customers that were behind me got finished, because my car needed cleaning, even though I took time to make and appointment a week beforehand. The representative that helped me promised it would only take 15 minutes for the car to be cleaned. It took over 40 minutes. I didnt drive off the lot until 4 pm because one of the other representatives had to help me in order to finish up. When they showed me the car that I am qualified for at the price point that I am covered for, it was a Jeep that they tried to charge an extra 3 dollars a day. Overall I am giving 2 stars1. Why have an appointment system if the company is not going to keep to it?2. Had a customer wait over an hour to go through the process of releasing a rental, even-tough they called beforehand and made a appointment (so the car shouldve been washed day of)3. Tried to have me pay more than agreed rental price4. Enterprise rep left the car inspection period to go back inside (This is the big one, that docks you a lot of points in my opinion and I will be hard pressed to choose you in the future).

Comment: BMW sent me here after dropping my car off for service. The car they gave me was filthy. Looked like a packet of BBQ sauce or hot sauce exploded in there. Everything was sticky. When I brought it up to the manager Maxs attention, he was extremely rude and offended that I asked for a clean car. He wiped off one of the sauce splatters and gave me a tub of wipes to clean the rest up myself.

There was some existing but we clearly did some ourselves.Minutes after returning the truck I got a notification that I was charged ~$1,500 by Enterprise. No phone call, no text, no email, no conversation, no estimate, no damage explanation, no quote or opportunity to fix the truck. Just an arbitrary and immediate charge of an obscene amount given the situation.I called up to inquire about it and was sent an email by an employee so I could see the “damage report”. The email had a PDF with literally nothing in but a form letter and “damage to the truck” “roof - radius”Again no info or explanation.I will now have to speak with the credit card company about a possible dispute.Extremely disappointed. SMH

Comment: I recently used Enterprise Rent-A-Car while my vehicle was being repaired. I was extremely satisfied with my experience from beginning to end. I was picked up from the repair shop (Valley Collison Center) very promptly. The Enterprise employee was very nice and courteous. She ask me about my car, and if I was ok. When I arrived at Enterprise, I was greeted by another friendly employee. After my information was taken, I was shown some very nice cars. After I made my selection, the car was cleaned, disinfected and presented to me very expeditiously. I then received a follow up text a few days later. When I returned the car on 9/21/20. I was given another friendly greeting, and asked if I was pleased with the car. Another employee (also very nice) immediately took me back to Valley Collision Center to pickup my car. Upon arriving, he thanked me for using Enterprise. My overall experience with Enterprise was outstanding. I give it two thumbs up, and would highly recommend Enterprise to all of my friends.

However they dont get 5 starts this time around only because lately their selection of vehicle types have not been very wide in range at my local locations.Maybe thats because customers do not always return the cars to the original locations and those individual locations do not have the staffing in place to collect their cars.Other than that, I would not rent [or even purchase previously owned] vehicles from any place other than Enterprise.They are simply the best!

Comment: Service was top rate. A driver picked me up and brought me directly to the rental lot. A larger vehicle was available than the one I reserved and they gave it to me at the same price. Because of hillside fires, it became unwieldly to drive on narrow roads, so they exchanged it for the smaller vehicle with no problem.

When we returned the vehicle at the end of the rental, the office was very busy and we observed the staff being very calm and efficient in serving all the customers there and displayed the same kindness and courtesy to everyone that we had experienced.

I reserved a car online but when I got there a few days later they didnt have it, or really any cars (only trucks), there was only one left and it wasnt what I wanted, it was too small but I went ahead with the rental. What was unacceptable to me was the woman who picked me up from home and took me to their location. She wanted to know exactly where I was going while I had the car. This was rude and unprofessional but there she was, diligently trying to get the information. When I returned the car and she took me home it was the same thing, Where did you go? When I didnt answer she asked me again, twice; until I told her she didnt need to know. From reading the other reviews this is clearly a location that needs to take the time to teach the concept of customer service. It is extremely unlikely that Ill return here for any reason whatsoever.

Thirty-eight (yup 38!) days late my car was returned; I had an Enterprise rental for thirty-five of those days! From arriving at Enterprise, through a switch of rentals because the first was recalled for an oil change, to the final return, the staff was courteous, professional, accommodating, and efficient! When my car was repaired, Enterprise dropped me off and everything was quick and easy. The insurance and their repair center set up everything for me, making the appointments and calling for pick-up, so all the papers were prepared except for personal info and car selection.The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it was an overall great experience.

Comment: Very unimpressed with this particular Enterprise. I called 2 hours ahead and made an appointment for a truck. When I arrived they had a brand new Ram truck with only 3000 miles on it. I was excited to drive a Ram since I’ve mostly driven Ford F150s over the years. When I went with the associate from enterprise to look at the truck it was completely dirty and looked like someone had used it for major gardening or construction work. Me and the associate realized it had 5 or 6 dents that were 2-3 inches in diameter and he went to let his manager know about it. He came back saying the manager had accepted the truck back from the customer and it was ok. It was given to me super dirty with no gas in the tank and a bald rear right tire like the previous customer had been doing burnouts like crazy in it. Sun visors were completely filthy with dirty handprints. Then on the second day I was driving it the service light went on . Not happy with my experience at this Enterprise

Comment: I love the staff at this Van Nuys location, but every single time I get a car from Enterprise ... no matter which location (also used Granada Hills), there is ALWAYS a low tire pressure warning light on. Its a pain always having to put air in a tire or two instead of just getting off onto my business trip where I shouldnt have to worry about it right after picking it up. Please put an air compressor at the Enterprise locations so that when cars are cleaned, the tire pressure is also maintained. Thanks!

Comment: Worst experience bad attitude supervisor lady couldnt help us no way Im going back to that place. Sepulveda and Roscoe is the best place to go very professional and you always get what you want not what they want to give you. Thats what you pay to get what you want period.

Comment: Bad service ... rented a car that wasnt even washed and it smell I mean reeked like cigar smell... than never return my deposit.. had to call them to release the deposit and once they did.... they didnt return my full deposit. .. had to call them again to do so... not happy at all...

Comment: Ive never wrote any review for any business, But I have to do it now!Do not tell them how much your insurance is covering in case of accident. In another word dont be honest with them act just like themselves. I told them that my insurance is covering $35 a day and they charged me exactly that amount then told me I have to pay for insurance (10.99 a day) and tax! later I returned that car and they gave me the same car with $15 less!

Comment: Great and professional staff. The inside of the cars are always clean; however, a lot of the cars we have rented have many scratches. Our company rents cars on a weekly basis and although I am not overly impressed with their inventory, I am happy to return to this branch because of their customer service.

Comment: I would give fewer stars if possible. Staff is pushy and disorganized. They were supposed to pick me up from the dealership where I was getting service done, but they never showed. Then, they charged me $150 for a complimentary rental while getting my car fixed down the street. The guy pressed and pressed and pressed for the extra insurance, even though I needed the car for barely a day. He said that it would only be $15.99 and that it could cover the cost after my deductible. Since it was 7 a.m. and I was running really late for work I finally gave in and said fine, Ill pay the $16. Only to find a $150 charge to my credit card the next day.BEWARE THESE SCAMMERS.

Comment: After I checked in and they verified my reservation, they attended to my auto needs. After a slight mix-up in the classification of my rental, they corrected the situation and I was on the road in due time. From time in to time out, I estimated 15 minutes. Which I thought to be very good for a very chaotic Friday morning.When I returned the vehicle, the fee was exactly as I had negotiated on-line. That pleased me very much.

Comment: I loved enterprise and would always rent from them, but not anymore. Not everyone has a credit card and they flat out said no to me for not having one. I have rented from them before without ever having one. Make up your mind enterprise.
