Comment: Very happy with rental but most of all the employees. They are kind and welcoming. Christian offered an upgrade for waiting for someone to help us. My husband and I were so appreciative. We thought we would get a suv but no it was exciting when the young lady (I can’t remember her name but she was so kind) when she unlocked an Alpha Romeo we were in shock. Too bad we didn’t plan a road trip. But my husband car was in the shop. They also gave us a huge discount we are so grateful and thankful. As seniors we live on a budget. I had to call to ask for an extension and Jeff was so kind and it only took a few minutes. Thank you 🙏🏼🤗 all

I made reservations months in advance for a camping trip .I was called a half an hour before pick up to wait an hour before coming. Upon arrival I was told they did not have the vehicle. There was no urgency when I told the employees I was leaving in the morning. I had to drive to the Pico Rivera location to pick up a vehicle. Very stressful!

Comment: Be ware, this establishment is under new management, they are not negotiable, i have been to this location 6 times. will file my complaint with corporate as well.the complaint is they are billing me for a vehicle before while i still have in route, i have not returned the vehicle. I have always paid for the rental upon return. this management has been harassing me for the payments, telling me my contract ends in 2 days when my receipt says i have the car till June 17th,. no one know what they are doing here, they kept running my card on site for the $150.00 deposit and locked my account i had to contact the bank to clear it, if you are looking for hassle free DO nOT Go here! take your business else ware..

Comment: The staff is very professional. When I was there to pick up our rental car, a hot head guy just came into the office exclaiming he had been put on hold for 40 min. Did not care that their were customers already there waiting in line. Cesar, the agent, stayed calm and told him he would help him as soon as possible. Then another gentleman stood up and told the hot-headed guy. Did he think he was above all of us there? Thats when the hot head calmed down. TYVM Cesar for your calmness and professionalism. Their cars are top quality just like their service.

Comment: I have rented with enterprise numerous time in the past. This past weekend was my sons prom, I rented a Range Rover. The man helping me was extremely helpful. I rented on a Saturday and the office was packed he did give a 10% discount for almost a 2hr wait and then they washed the wrong car twice. When I finally got the car I wanted, the tail light was broke and the bumper was messed up. I took the car and on the way home the check engine light came on, I have never been so disappointed with a rental from enterprise. I paid good money for an “elite luxury” rental and received a bucket. I gave 2 starts because the guy helping me nice & helpful.

Comment: We have not been at this location in a long time, this time was busy, immediately you can see they are short with staff, overwhelmed by returning cars, that get the preference of the couple of people working outside, until the desk person had to go out an take care of delivering rentals, abandoning the long waiting line, and overall the staff was tired and not well coordinated, while waiting the line got longer waiting to be help. Not a good experience, not sure where they sent the nice crew that used to work there, I would like to think that early morning will be best to go and rent a car there. Make sure to make a reservation ahead.

I arrived right before 9am (opening time) on a Saturday and there was already a line of people waiting outside of the gate, so just a heads up to plan ahead of time. Comment: After an AWFUL experience at Hertz I discovered Enterprise was less than a block away. So I walked over there and took a chance. They treated me like gold. I couldn’t get over how drastically different the service and overall experience was. It felt like they actually valued me as a customer (imagine that!) and worked hard to make a good impression on me to keep me coming back there for years to come - and it worked. Yeah, you might pay a little more here - but that’s the price you pay for not being seen as merely an inconvenience with a wallet. My hats off to Richard and the whole staff here. Comment: Reservation made online -attempting to reserve via phone was met with an individual obviously lacking command of the language.Vehicle reserved in advance for specific day and time.Shortage of available vehicles resulted in hour and a half wait on day of pick up.Mid-size vehicle received - compact requested online.Request to extend reservation: responding agent initially unable to locate as she was looking in “Upcoming” as opposed to “Existing” reservations.Vehicle determined to be “one gallon short” of fuel upon return - an obvious ploy on the part of Enterprise to add charges.Unnecessary time spent waiting upon return as Enterprise agents had allowed a customer to park in front of the facility thereby blocking exit of all other vehicles.Agent transporting customers to drop off locations was not equipped with GPS making it incumbent upon me to use my own.

The van had many marks all over. The inside was dirty. Radio screen was filled with stains and fingerprints. Booked it 3 months ahead but got treated like i was a last second rental.

The first time I forgot a credit card and informed the front desk person I needed to retrieve it from the house, when I returned the car was rented. During the time of Covid I was given a car with empty water bottles. During a different time of Covid I was given a filthy car. Right now as I leave this review I’m waiting for a car to be cleaned At 1:30 when I was scheduled for a pick up at 1:30. Regardless of my appointment time, they were not prepared and I’m on a short lunch break. All negative experience.

Comment: I made a reservation for a full size vehicle 2 weeks in advanced for the whittier blvd. location. I show up to pick up my car and pay and they dont have one for me. They then had to take me to their la habra branch in which they would give me an SUV but this car had ripped cloth seats. So therefore, I refused but had no car to get back to work so i had to settle until they got a different car back to put me in. My reservation was originally for 12 noon and by the time I got a full sized car that I reserved 2 weeks prior, it was 4pm! I think if people reserve cars, then the branch should not give the reserved car to another party or should come up with a better plan for reservations. I am upset that it took so long to put me in the car i reserved 2 weeks prior.

Comment: I always rent here. It this experience was no good. Made a reservation. I called for a pick up 1 hour prior to my reservation and that’s when they spring this news on me at the time they have no cars. The person on the phone said only 1 hour delay. Ok stuff happens. When I called 2 hours later because no one actually called back (rude) there was still no cars but, the person on the phone said they were expecting more later today. Great... if my reservation was later today. 1 hour later I ubered to the location and there was not one car in the lot. I planned my vacation accordingly and now was 4 hours late hit a ton of traffic and wasted a whole day because enterprise overbooked ridiculous!! A side note as well I ordered a intermediate car and got a compact at that point I just wanted to get out. Worst experience ever.

I walk in to rent a vehicle and Im denied cause I didnt bring in a Credit Card when I have never been asked for a Credit Card before. All of a sudden they decide to start implementing a policy they havent done before w/o advising me prior to my visit. I begged for a one time courtesy warning and I was turned down. We had an insurance claim and the costs were to be paid by the party at fault.ENTERPRISE HAS ALL THE INFO THEY NEEDED INCLUDING CLAIM # etc, State Farm also confirmed they sent the reservation # not only originally, but again today.. When we picked up the vehicle it smelled like smoke and certainly was not clean just as many of the other reviewers have stated.We were also told that they would bill my credit card until ALLSTATE reimbursed them which I was completely OK with. Its been over 2 months and we havent seen any of the charges reversed, no followup by ENTERPRISE STAFF either. However, I was assured it could be handled. For some reason, I completely forgot about this and saw an ad for ENTERPRISE which caused me even more time to review my credit card purchases to see nothing had happened.Also, keep in mind, their prices change and we were gouged for the small truck they had available, They did not have any selection, so we were stuck with a Nissan Frontier truck.After a few days they called and said the truck was removed from inventory and they needed it back and would provide a different car. Really? why do I need to be inconvenienced due to their error of renting it in the first place. Also the engine light came on so I called and they made no attempt to come get the car, basically told me to keep driving it. This made it very unpleasant knowing that it could breakdown and possibly leave me stranded somewhere. Also, they called and said they needed additional $$$ for a deposit, which I have never seen.This was a very unpleasant experience and is still unresolved and it appears the person I talked to today didnt seem care and wasnt going to do anything, even after I stated I would just dispute the charges. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to the other competitors.BTW, read some of the other reviews, very similar to mine: Additional charges to your credit card, dirty cars, poor selection and staff that is unhelpful.Today I called Enterprise to see whats happening, they acted as if they had no clue and never seemed to make a call or do anything.Best to dispute the charge on my card and let them work to get their cash from Allstate. Such BS!ENTERPRISE, remember this, there is only one boss and thats the customer and they can fire everyone from the CEO on down to you, simply by spending their money elsewhere (Budget, Avis, Hertz, Alamo, Dollar, Thrifty)!Next time Ill deal with a more reputable office, but unfortunately, this location lost a customer for all future rentals at all of their locations. Comment: The service here is mediocre for the amount of money you pay for an intermediate car rental. I honestly would expect more out of their service. Even if you’re a gold member you still pay about $40 a day..... It’s nice they off pick-up/drop-off service but nothing really that stands out from other rentals. This location is kinda $#i++¥. Most of the cars I’ve rented here had some mechanical issues and they aren’t to helpful to make your exchange easy. Sometimes after waiting an inconvenient amount of time they give you a dirty car. Usually I wouldn’t mind but They very slow that you just want to grab the keys and get the hell out of there and clean it yourself when you have time. Just most recently I was charged an additional remainder deposit when I was suppose to be reimbursed for it. They tried to lie and tell me they do that in order to reimburse me. I called them out on their redundancy and ended up just telling me they made a mistake. With most of the inconveniences that’s happened here I’m not to confident in their service. Especially when it come to being charged.

The communication of available cars was not clear even as I posed questions related to other cars on the lot. A girl tells me hes out for pick up and hes picking someone up took my number and said hed call me. An hour passes and my husband calls they tell him they came waited a minute called and no one answered so they left. I have no calls. They then told him well its first come first serve and we missed our chance. Me my husband and our 2 year old have been sitting out front of the auto place waiting for them in 100 degree heat for over an hour. My little one is so red. Of course my husband and i are mad!! Even worse now were still stuck here trying to find a new rental place that 2ill pick up!

Comment: I know they try their best at this Enterprise but sometimes its just lacking. This last time renting from them I made a reservation a week in advance to get a compact car. I was driving up to Fresno and needed a car with good gas mileage. When I got there the only car they had was a pickup truck, a four wheel drive pickup truck at that. It had terrible mileage and I ended up spending four times more in gas than I usually do when making the trip to Fresno. I had to get to work and they had no other cars so I begrudgingly took the truck. They did rent the pickup truck to me for the compact car rate. When I returned the truck I was hoping to get some sort of compensation but all the agents were too busy to even talk to. I asked for a ride back to my apartment but they were all so busy that I decided to take an Uber home instead. Another $10 on top of the poor mileage truck I was basically forced to take. Theyre hit and miss, some times this Enterprise treats you right and some times they dont.

The radio was not working correctly. I would hook up my phone to the car and the next day it wouldnt connect again. Plus the screen kept going black like it was resetting itself. Major concerns with this ERAC address: 1)Even though my information is in the system and I had reserved a car online, when I arrived at the office, I had to show proof of residence before renting from this particular office. Fortunately, I could pull up a utility bill on my cell phone. 2) The customer service representative would not accept my major credit card as payment, and insisted that I use a debit card to secure the rental. 3) I was offered an economy car as a double upgrade! Comment: Beyond disappointed with this location. It was one of my favorite locations to rent a car from and Id go out of my way to go there. I rented a car from 11/13-11/18. The staff seems fairly new and not very organized. This is not to say anyone was rude or not polite, but the newer staff didnt seemed to be well trained. Why did I rate them 1 star? To start, I was told Id be picked up within 45 min from my office, well to say the least they picked my up almost 2 hours later. Then I was given a late model Chevy Malibu that had serious electrical problems. The auto stop featured almost caused 2 accidents. The car turned off in two instances, so I had to put the car back in park and then restart to get it moving again. Very dangerous situation. I was too caught up to call Enterprise and too far to go back and get the car exchanged. When I brought the car back, I mentioned the issue with the attendant and I was given a quick Im sorry. Is Enterprise renting out recalled or dangerous cars? I use to look forward to go to that location, but over the last couple times Ive been there it seems standards arent being held.

Comment: So I was renting a car to go to Mexico. I called this location 2 weeks before and was told that I could rent a car from this location, but I had to stop by Chula Vista to get Mexican insurance. The day I came to pick up the car I asked Tasha at the front desk if she can confirm the address of the Chula Vista location and she shrugged her should implicating that she didnt know. After it kind of got awkward I told her, can you find out?, she end up looking it up, but was kind of rude about it. Another agent by the name of Alex, who was very nice, showed me the car I would be renting and asked where I would be traveling? I relplied by saying Mexico and he told me that I couldnt take their rentals to Mexico. I then told him what I was told and he said, oh, okay if that what you were told. After leaving I felt nervous and unsure because I was getting different answers, so I called Enterprise Customer service and they told me I couldnt take the car. I called the Whittier location and talked to Alex and he talked to the manager and they said that I could afer initially saying I couldnt. All in all I got a lot of different answers, which is ridiculous to me. This is your business, how could you not know. In my line of business, if I dont know something you better believe I will find out for my customers without them having to ask a second time. I mean we are in California, I am sure Im not the first customer from this location to travel to Mexico. It is ridiculous! After all that stress I get a call from the location a whatever apology for my troubles and that is it.

Comment: They suck big time, We had made a reservation 3 days in advance for a minivan for 7 people .on the day that a was going to pick up the vehicle I call their office to let them know we were on our way to pick up the van, and a man said yes well wait for you here. When we arrived to the place the same man that answer the phone was taking long . He ask for our credit card and DL. Then he told us that they didnt have no more minivans, what is the point of making a reservation if it doesnt guarantee the vehicle.They could of at least called us that our minivan wouldnt be available. This way we could of made other arrangements. Needless to say the whittier office stank of urine disgusting smell. Horrible experience there, we will never go there again.

Comment: We have been renting our cars here for a few years and have always been satisfied not only with the friendliness of the employees but with the vehicles as well. They always get us thru the process pretty fast and even help us in setting up our next rental. We had a problem with the windshield viper fluid not working even after we put in wiper fluid. Whenever we have had a problem we always make sure to mention it to the staff so that they can address it right away.All in all we are very pleased with Enterprise Rent A Car and their employees in Whittier and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a vehicle.

On Thursday, Sept 22, 2016 I went the Whittier Enterprise Rent-a- car for the purpose of renting a car and the Female helping me ask if I had a reservation which I said yes, I made a reservation but unfortunately I did not save the reservation and could not locate it. She preceded to tell me that she would enter the information as if I made a reservation, well she was renting a Chrysler 200 for 70.00 a day, of course I got upset and ask why so much and she said because today is a very busy day. Well, a Chrysler 200 is not a luxury or an SUV, but she said she would offer her employee discount at about $50.00 a day, then I offer to go home and make a reservation for the next day and she explain that I would only be saving $50.00 for making a reservation online. She will not open my enterprise account and she said she could not find me in the system, I had rented cars from the same place before . Any ways I was given the whooping price of 50.00/day, I should be jumping of joy right but the truth was that I was very upset, i took the car, went home made another reservation for the next day, same car (Chrysler 200) for 35.00 a day, then I called enterprise again wanting to take the car back and pick it up next day which they offer to honor the rate I was given over the internet, non the less I was charged for the full boat insurance 35.00/day. Nowadays its all about customer service, but these people are there to take advantage of their loyal customers, not good, I will not rent a car from enterprise ever again.

Comment: I have been going to Enterprise for a few years, and I have never had a bad experience. The people working there bend over backwards to accommodate you, and their deals are better than anyones out there. I love that they pick you up and take you to their store, and take you back home afterwards. Very convenient locations. One of the few that accepts a debit card, too. Ive been upgraded because a car wasnt there that I had reserved, and there was no hassle about it. Great service, cheerful people, and very fast service.

I looked at prices for a subcompact car based on a reservation and it was $8 dollars per day less than the subcompact I ended up renting. The employee at the desk did NOT quote a price but said that we would be told the prices as we looked at various cars on the lot. I felt ripped off.

Comment: The staff was very friendly and helpful, my only dig would be that upon returning the car there was only one person at the counter helping people and 3 people in the cubicle behind the counter obviously having a good time. They didnt notice that a line had formed until the Nan ay the counter called out for someone to come out to help. The service was very good, the car was dirty and needed servicing as the service light was on. We called as we left when we noticed it but were told not to worry it was fine. I have used enterprise before and have never had issues. I will use them sgain.

Of course, that entails a 50 mile round trip for me and my guest. Comment: My recent experience with Enterprise in Whittier was definitely not as pleasant as previous experiences at other Enterprise locations or with competitors. My problems began when I called & was left on hold for over 5 minutes. I called back, the employee did not identify herself by name. I mentioned being left on hold & received no apology. The driver that picked me up was friendly & courteous, but thats where the customer service ended. I was not greeted upon entering the office & felt like I was an inconvenience while they were preparing my paperwork. I was walked outside to inspect the car & felt rushed & got a negative vibe when I declined the insurance. As the employee walked away I had to shout to him to get his name, just in case. I really did not notice the interior of the car until I reached home. It was the dirtiest interior that I have ever seen! The drivers seat was stained & the console had coffee stains & crumbs. I did mention that when I returned the car, but there did not seem to be too much concern. I hope that when I need a car again, I will be in an area other than Whittier.

Comment: I disliked it this time because I was overcharged.I booked a car thru AAA when I called for a tow. I requested this location as I have rented from here before. I later learned that the web posted rate was lower! If I had made the reservation thru the website, I would have saved money.When I brought this up upon returning the car, I was told that they didnt discount to AAA members, and since I had reserved thru them at their rate, I couldnt get the internet rate.Next time, check the web posted rate first and even call to see if that rate is different. Maybe compare with other car rental company...
