Comment: Giving this location a negative 10 stars, would be most accurate.I have been to this location three times, trying to switch my rental for a 7-8 passengers SUV. They always claim to not have any to accommodate me.Yesterday, June 28, I went there to get my rental agreement update, as my insurance company extended my rental.I explained to the obtuse anchor, at the counter, exactly what I needed. It still didnt understand. It then went and got a Black man to help me. He did not, instead another obtuse anchor intervened.By now Im standing there for 7 minutes, when this couldve been handled in THREE!So the blob sat down and I explained to it what I needed. Instead of simply typing in the reservation number and PRINTING the document, it sat typing and being extremely rude and dismissive.When I asked if it saw the agreement, it said yes. I said Can you print it, so I can get out of here? It continued to be annoying and RUDE.I asked for a Supervisor, it said it was the Supervisor. I asked for a manager, it said the manager was busy.Finally, after TWENTY MINUTES, I got my document. As soon as I left, I went to find the manager.I hope those sour-faced, pot-bellied, flat-backed imbéciles are FIRED.They are the worst representations of this company!

Comment: A great service. We got a really nice car that was almost new (just 3000 kilometres). The process was really smooth, very well organized by the team on the floor and everyone was helpful and happy to help. It carried us all along our road with (almost) no issues. When we were about to leave Las Vegas we had a battery issue and had to call someone but Enterprise was very responsive and send is someone that fixes the issue. A couple of hours later we had a signal on the dashboard that prompted is to call again Enterprise and they offered us to change the vehicle. They didnt have the same on the two locations we went in Las Vegas but the signal went off and we were able to continue safely our road to Los Angeles and return the car! Thanks for helping us along the way. I recommand 100% for safe and easy travels!

Comment: One of the worst rental car experiences I have ever had. I rented a car for work and half way through had to change my travel plans, called Enterprise to update to drop location figured there would be an additional charge but whatever. My mistake for thinking this would be like oh I duno 200 bucks maybe? After finally getting someone on the phone at Enterprise Customer Service I was told I would have to pay $5K for the rental to be dropped in a different location. After having a small panic attack at the price, ($5K???) I asked if this was because the location? Can I drop anywhere else that is cheaper? What can be done about this? This is happening as I am driving down the 5 trying to get to my next location. Nothing can be done. Drop in Bakersfield = $5K. Sacramento? =$5K. I the ask to speak to someone else at Enterprise and called multiple times only to be told I would have to get the location to waive the fee. Finally Vanessa from LAX returned my call. I should have known when she called using an unlisted number. $5K for a two week rental of a Nissan Armada, the car alone isnt even worth $5K. Vanessa said no problem we will charge you a $200 change fee when you drop it. Wow thank you Vanessa for not charging me $5K. The only issue was Vanessa lied. When I dropped the car off early in SLC what did I see on my statement?. $5K, Vanessa, sorry to say but you do not deserve any gold stars, and I pity any poor person that tries to use Enterprise ESPECIALLY at LAX. They told me when I dropped the car I would need to speak with LAX. I already spoke to LAX. Let this be a lesson to you when dealing with Enterprise. Record conversations, always ask for call back numbers and multiple forms of return contact information (email, phone, linkedin- whatever these people just straight up lie) because FOOL ME ONCE, never again. I would honestly rather be run over by that Armada in the California desert than ever have to deal with these people ever again. Save your self and your sanity.

Comment: This was my first time in LA, and Enterprise made it easy! The worst part was grabbing a shuttle mid afternoon to the location (because it was very crowded), but our driver was awesome and got us on, and handled our luggage. The employees at the enterprise location were very kind and the process went quickly! I love that they walk you out to the vehicles. The return process was even easier! Everyone, again, was friendly and efficient (morning car return around 9a.m.). There were buses waiting to take us back to the airport. The driver assisted with luggage again and asked us all what airline we were flying to make sure we got to the right terminal. Definitely will book there again!

Comment: I got stuck at LAX. I live 4 hours away and placed a reservation. Tried picking it up but they don’t accept debit card. Credit only. I’ve never heard of that and I’ve never had issues using my debit for rentals even at airports. They wouldn’t do anything to work with me even knowing that I live far away and was just stranded. The manager was laughing at the situation. I couldn’t believe that they would just allow someone to be stranded in this manner and offer no solutions or apologies or anything. I cannot conceive of worse customer service or communication. I will never use them again.

My carry on was handed to the wrong customer by the shuttle bus driver, I tried to find that customer at the airport, missed my flight due to this, and to top it all off, nobody at the LAX enterprise location would help or even try to help with my missing bag. Comment: This was the most efficient rental car experience Ive ever had! I mainly use Enterprise because Ive always had good experiences with them.The LAX location runs a well-oiled machine. I was super impressed. Everyone I dealt with---from the free airport shuttle driver to the lot attendent who picked out my car--- was friendly & had great customer service.Reserved a compact SUV online less than a week prior to arrival. Four day rental at $231 total, including taxes & fees. Very reasonable, & the price I reserved for online was my exact payment upon return. No hidden fees.At LAX, there is a purple post location where rental car shuttles pick up. It was not far from the baggage claim area, & it was easy to find. Only waited 2 minutes before the Enterprise shuttle arrived. I arrived at 10pm on a Wednesday night. And while there isnt traffic on the road, LAX is always busy. The lot wasnt far though. So, it only took less than 15 minutes to get there.Because I did everything online prior, I was in my 2024 KIA Sorrento & out of the lot in less than 15 minutes. The car itself was wonderful---attractive exterior & interior, spacious, fuel efficient, lots of safety features, with all the bells & whistles of modern, smart technology (e.g., easily paired up thru bluetooth with my phone).Returning the car on Sunday morning at ~11am was just as quick & efficient. And the rental car shuttles were all ready to bring us to the airport. Got to my AA terminal in about 15 minutes as well.Kudos to this specific Enterprise location👏 An extremely smooth & easy process. Highly recommend!!

Comment: This was the easiest and cheapest car rental experience Ive ever had. Even with the conversion rates applied, it was way cheaper than what you would pay for rental in Canada. It also took a total of 5 minutes to get into our rental once we arrived and the free shuttle picks you up basically as soon as your off the plane to take you there. When returning, you literally give them your key, jump on the shuttle, and your on your way back to LAX. I highly recommend! We will be return customers.

We were greeted (after a very long and tiring flight) by a really helpful assistant who processed our paperwork quickly and efficiently. The person who handed over the car to us gave us the choice of a few vehicles and neither of the operatives we saw tried to up sell, fortunately. The car was perfect for our needs and the handover when we returned it was easy and problem free. The location and provision of an airport shuttle was really convenient. Would definitely recommend Enterprise.

Comment: I am writing this to give a shoutout to Courtney, who was working the front desk the night I got stuck in LA on April 22. My flight was rescheduled to the next morning and my airlines customer service would do nothing to help alleviate the situation (hotel, refund, etc). My final location was about a two-hour drive away, and when I looked, it would cost the same price to get a hotel vs a rental car, so decided to head to the Enterprise desk. When I arrived, Courtney was phenomenal. She did everything she could to get me the best deal and help turn my night around after I thought I would be flying home but ended up having to do a two-hour drive. Thank you, Courtney, for being customer-focused and just a great human in general!

Comment: My rental experience from the beginning was excellent. It was my first time not only in L.A but also in America. There was a free shuttle from the terminals to the rental facilities. The front desk was polite and helpful, not trying to push any upsell items on me which I didnt need. The automatic machine for checking in did not work, however a staff member was able to help and let me know if I want to pay with a debit card you do need to have a return flight itinerary, which I had. Once paid I was then shown the way to the cars which then a staff member took me to the forecourt and let me choose which car I preferred. Once chosen, and inspected I was all booked in and sent on my way hassle free. I would reccomed enterprise for anyone visiting through LAX.

After I dropped the car off, I was charged an additional day and the first customer service rep told me its because I dropped the car off at 6:30.I was at their lot with the car at 3:30. The lot has video surveillance to prove this, plus I have additional proof as well.So far, 3 different customer service representatives have all agreed with me and said it is a mistake on their part, and none of them have been able to get the bill fixed. Ive been told 3 times that a manager will call me to fix this over the course of a week and a half.

Comment: I booked a reservation to rent a car months in advance. I flew in from ATL to LAX and was supposed to make a trip down to San Diego. However, when I went to check in to get my rental, my card’s chip was not working. You would think as a company that has card readers that have the option to swipe, they would allow a card swipe. However, they said their swipe did not work and that they couldn’t type in the card manually. I’ve never been to a company where inserting a card is the only way to pay for something. We sat there for FOUR HOURS on my birthday trying to figure out a different way to get a car rental stranded in LA missing our event in San Diego. I ended up having to go to a different rental company which happily entered in my card information.

When I informed her that is where the designated pick up area was, she got upset and made us walk around the building. While we walked away she made rude remarks. Comment: I treated my bf for his 50th Birthday with a trip to LA. We got our bags and then headed to the shuttle buses. I accidentally went to the front door of the shuttle and the shuttle driver (Toney) who was an older tall African American man and before I could ask him a question he “pointed” with his fingers for me to head to the other bus door. Even my bf said he was rude! This was my first time taking a shuttle to the enterprise car rental lot. It was like a welcome to LA moment… Please education your drivers on common courtesy and to speak and not point like a 2 year old child.

I told her we should spend a bit more on it, but the enterprise has a great rating compared to other companies. No regret! The car was new, very clean, in very good condition. Comment: I am used to east coast car rental check-ins where you just cross the airport road coming out of ARRIVALS and have the counters right there. Even BETTER are the Florida airports where the rental desks are RIGHT AT ARRIVALS!I am fully aware LAX is a massive airport but I was NOT prepared for the LENGTHY check-in procedure.Yes ...AIRPORT INFORMATION was VERYYYYY VAGUE.....so once you FIND the purple post and wait for the shuttle bus (which does come fairly frequently...but make sure you take the CORRECT ONE!!!) you are taken way off property a good 10 to 15 minutes. (BTW.....TIP your driver a few dollars...)When we got there there WAS no ENTERPRISE counter and they had merged with ALAMO. There were three agents but only two lines so I had to be rather forceful with people who had been BEHIND me in the other line but tried to go ahead of me. There was nobody there to regulate that so why not put a LABYRINTH winding line (like DISNEY lines) rather than TWO to avoid this unpleasantness????Even though the attendant that assigned the car was very thorough they did NOT explain the EXIT signage in the parking lotwas DIFFERENT for each agency. I went out the wrong one and held up everybody for a long time!!!!Give me the east coast any time!!!!

We wanted to hire a jeep although when booking there was none available online, when we arrived we decided the car we had booked wasn’t the best for our trip and fortunately there was a Jeep parked next to the car we had hired. Comment: If I could put zero stars I would .I would like to say that the people working there are rude and have no customer service skills especially the manager Jairo Ramirez. This was the worst experience ever renting with Enterprise we had never had a problem with Enterprise until today. We had our reservation ready when we arrive at the airport we just wanted to get home we got their like at 11, so they could tell us they couldn’t give us the car with out a credit card we had rent cars with our debit card before. They wanted to change the reservation to my name since I had a credit card and my husband didn’t have his credit card which I saw a sign saying they do accept debit cards. They just didn’t want to do it. When I gave them my credit card they said my last name didn’t match on my drivers license they didn’t want to accept since I got married I change my last name but I show him my passport which had my information from my previous last name which is an Identification .The manager Jairo was being very hard not wanting to take it I told him I was willing to show him my marriage certificate but I thought it was to much for us to be doing that.At the end he took my passport but we ended up leaving super late from enterprise because all of what he made us do. We came to Vegas super late I don’t think it’s fair we had to drive all night because of how bad the people treated us and made us jump through all those hoops

They should have better signage up that just says walk outside to the gate once you come up the escalators. You are wanting to stop at the desk there but just keep going outside to get your car. The Enterprise representative who met me asked for my license and credit card. Then he proceeded to tell me that he couldn’t rent to me because my license had been “tampered with”. I rent from Enterprise all the time and yes, my license does have a crack in it, but I have used it for numerous rentals and never had an issue. The staff was unbelievably rude and did not even offer to help me find an alternative rental. I was forced to take an Uber to my hotel and I rented a car from Hertz the next morning without issue.

Cars are top notch and (at least In the elite categories) you have free choice of car usually. Also special mention to Hunter who was exceptional. So easy to deal with and made us feel good and welcome straight away, flawless experience. Even just for Hunters customer service Id give 5 stars and then, on top, the cars are always great and theyre very transparent with everything. Comment: Enterprise is my go to. The porter at my drop off was the only person in LA County, or Big Bear Lake, that knew about the LA Detroit game, along w the Goff Stafford back story. The car and service were all great.Nothing to do w Ent/LAX I know, but if corporate is listening in, your phone agents need to chill out on the HYP-ER PRO-NUNC-I-A-TION OF EV-E-RY SING-LE SYL-A-BIL etc... It makes it so hard to understand, ie, a SEE-DON or A ESS-U-VEE, what??? oh, a sedan, got it... If they would stop w the conversation as a combat form, and just talk, everybody would win.The agent made a simple transaction excruciating, and was nearly impossible to understand, partly because I was still at the airport terminal. I think I actually asked her to repeat something in an inside voice, or words to that effect, when I had no idea what she was saying.But unflappable, she would not offer a non scripted, and more digestible you have two options. We have a special on SUVs, or you can go with a sedan, which has a familiar cadence, and is easily understood. But she wasnt talking to me, she was power reading to me.The agent went off script when were wrapping up, and spoke conversationally, and, not surprisingly, that part of the conversation was easy to understand. I think I implored her to just talk conversationally from now on.The call of resulted in the Nissan Murano rental from Ent/LAX w a return date of 1/13/24.

The agent wanted to have extra charge on excess milage on the return rental car during year end and busy period and it cost around $500 however its unlimited mileage on contract and i drove less than 800 miles during 7 days rent in CA. it created unnecessaries situation and experiences for customer. Besure to sign up for special offers even if you are not renting a car often so that when you do need a rental youll have a great offer. The car itself was very clean and no issues. Comment: Just landed at LAX and took the shuttle bus to Enterprise. The bus is designated by Enterprise as it has full Enterprise logos on it. It was an entirely dangerous and terrifying experience. The driver was rough and constantly fighting with traffic. 5 minutes into the drive he aggressively fought against another vehicle to get right of way through traffic. Tossing all of us back and forth in and OUT OF our seats. A road rage situation immediately followed with our driver ( and the others ) screaming out the windows and a hard braking that threw my daughter and another girl against the holding poles. I expect better from a professional working for Enterprise. Enterprise you are providing a ‘product’ and a service. This was undeniably terrible service.

Our rentals check engine light came on and we were told to stop by this location to pick up a different rental since the first location we went to did not have a vehicle that could accommodate all my passengers. However, it got the job done for the entirety if our stay in LA. However, upon returning the car and taking the shuttle to the airport terminal, the bus driver was kinda rude, and drove very rough. She also missed many of the terminals, which meant people had to get down at terminals different to the ones they were supposed to be in, and had to walk a lot with their bags. Not really acceptable for an airport as big as LAX.

But wow… no waiting forever in line, no small talk, no harassment over declining insurance. It took like 3 minutes at the payment desk then I met with Miranda at the cars, who quickly assigned us one that we signed off on and we were out. This is how renting a car should be! Comment: We returned a car on 11/15 . Upon arrival at the airport I realized I had left Brand new Disney merchandise in the front passenger seat. 100% sure of it. I can’t get through to anyone at the LAX location specifically to discuss. The item has not been located. No surprise. Had it been a hair clip, an ebt card, or sunglasses I’m sure it would have been found. This has been exhausting trying to talk to someone directly at this location. Terrible lost and found procedure and dishonest employees.

Comment: Gina!!! L. A airport enterpriseWe came on July 21st for a family trip and we thought the car we picked out would fit our stroller, car seat, bags and well yea it was the worst . We were about to make two trips BUT Gina stepped in and helped up. She found us a car that would fit the car seat and we are very thankful and blessed. Sorry it took so long to write this review and I hope she’s still working there . I love when we feel valued, we use this company when traveling and we travel a lot . Comment: We reserved a luxury vehicle online and then phoned Enterprise to confirm the reservation. Since this was our first time reserving a luxury vehicle (that category was at a great sale price) we called Enterprise to double-check that everything was in order and specifically asked if we could book the additional insurance over the phone - we were told that insurance is purchased when we pick up the vehicle. We travel to the United States a couple times per year and always rent from Enterprise hence, we thought we were quite familiar with their process.When we arrived at midnight, after a long flight with our four children (age seven and under), we were told that since we had reserved a luxury vehicle, we would need to provide proof of insurance from our own vehicle insurance company. Shocked and surprised, we explained that we did not bring the documentation because we did not know it was required. The agent commented didnt someone call you? then, advised us to contact our insurance company, to which we laughed - it would be impossible to contact our company at midnight on a Sunday. Luckily, they had another vehicle available so, at least we were not stranded.We contacted Enterprise the following day to express our concerns that we had not been fully informed of the requirements for the vehicle. They said that it was our responsibility to understand the conditions of a rental. That aggravated us, we had phoned Enterprise, we specifically inquired about insurance. The agent then contradicted the Enterprise employee from the previous night, commenting that they do not phone hundreds of customers per day to inform them of every detail of a rental, then he basically hung up on us.My concern boils down to this: If Enterprise cannot resolve a simple issue such as this (all we wanted was an apology), how can we trust them to be there when we really need them? Such as if we are in an accident? We will use another rental company with better customer service from now on.

Comment: These guys went above and beyond! Easy shuttle service from the airport came every 5 mins was right outside the luggage carousel. Luckily no big lines at the desk, checked in prior so was easy to finalize. Was pleasantly greeted outside by a manager. Then few mins later was handed off to an agent, unfortunately the car class we ordered was unavailable the manager and agent were very kind and apologetic. They were very understanding and both were looking for solutions. Ended up getting a class upgrade which was really nice and much more expensive they even gave a discount as we had to wait a little. The customer service was really good, also the return bus driver girl was very friendly and helpful and was very proud of her job of 20+ years, was a great way to end the trip. Thanks again for a 5 star experience at LAX enterprise! Good job guys!

Comment: I would give 6 stars if possible. I am super impressed by friendly and courteous service, and my wife and I received a ton of that from the Enterprise staff at LAX. When we approached the desk to check in we were greeted by a friendly staff member who ushered us to the counter to complete the transaction. The staff member who checked up in was efficient and friendly, and once completed explained where we were to go. Once outside we were greeted by Shy Batrin who took us to our vehicle and inspected it with us. She was super friendly and courteous. When we returned the car two days later a staff member greeted us and helped us on our way to the shuttle. The shuttle bus driver (Michael) was super friendly and helpful. We watched his interaction with passengers along the way and he was terrific. Thank you. In a world of rude people, Enterprise LAX was an island of professionalism and courtesy.

I have NEVER given a bad review** Just UBER or rent elsewhere! Avoid this Enterprise location!!!! Unbelievably frustrating and HORRIBLE experience. Rented a car for work and dropped off 30 minutes before my check out time. Left PLENTY of room between drop off time and my boarding time because they recommended at least an hour transit expectation. A rep checked me out of the car - told me that everything was good and that I was good to go. I realized that I had the car key still with me when I got to security. Tried calling, tried emailing, tried everything I could think of to contact someone to see what I could/should do. They didnt contact me back until an hour later and said that I could either give the key to the bus driver or Id have to be charged $350 for lost key. At that point my flight is already boarding! Id been trying to get in contact with someone this entire time and now theyre telling me its too late for me to do anything??? The girl on the phone tells me that shell call me right back... She doesnt. I just see a charge on my card... no communication whatsoever. Ive been trying to get anyone to give me a call back for almost a week now and still its silent. I dont understand how theyre charging me for a lost key when Im the one who contacted them to tell them that I have the freaking key!! Its like theyre charging you for being honest. Enterprise honestly has been the most anti-customer company that Ive ever interacted with. Literally been on the phone with 10 different people and have been given 10 different time lines 10 different solutions. Comment: While Im giving this experience 4 stars, its essential to note that the Chrysler Pacifica we received, despite being brand new, was riddled with issues. It was somewhat disappointing to encounter so many problems with a vehicle fresh off the lot. However, setting that aside, the overall experience was notably positive. The service was prompt and efficient, which made the process relatively hassle-free. The staff was warm and friendly, always ready to assist and address any concerns. Additionally, the variety of vehicle options they had on offer was commendable. Also, there were ongoing shuttles to take you to the terminals so you dont have to wait long for that. Make sure you schedule an additional forty minutes to go from the return place to your terminal due to traffic.

I flew in last Saturday, I had reserved a American muscle car a week prior get there pay for it just to find out they don’t have the car.. so I get put in a cheaper vehicle.. I was told I would receive a call about price adjustment/some of my money back. They lied and said they tried to call that same day.. no email, no missed call, no voicemail, nothing.. and I haven’t heard a damn thing since I called 2 days ago. Now I paid for the car and protection all in the same day.. We arrived at Enterprise and went right to the booth for our rental. The employee was so wonderful, reviewing the car we initially picked. We discovered the trunk space wouldnt quite fit our things so we upgraded. She helped us choose our upgrade, and we were out of there within 10 mins of walking in. The check out process was even better. They had a driver bring us back to our hotel, and the man who checked us out was so sweet. We will absolutely use this Enterprise every time we are back in LA.

Comment: Very courteous and helpful staff! This was our first time at the huge LAX airport, and we were kind of overwhelmed. Once we arrived at Enterprise via the shuttle bus from the terminal, everyone on the staff was just wonderful. Janel was the employee who set us up with our car, and she was absolutely terrific. When we returned the car, we were tired from the vacation, and we forgot the name of the woman who waited on us. She was also just as great. She was wearing Dallas Cowboys gear. High praise to these two wonderful employees and also the woman who waited on us at the counter when we checked in. We also forget her name because we were so busy. Comment: When I arrived for the first time in California at LAX with no idea where to rent a car and 3 other girls from Virginia, I was surprised at the level of hospitality and grace shown by Enterprise. We had been running around downtown Inglewood for around 5 hours since our plane landed looking for a place to rent a car and each place seemed more sketchier than the other, until we saw Enterprise.Representative EJ was EXTREMELY helpful for us. He wanted our first experience in LA to be the best and he made our already stressful day into a MUCH better one. After meeting with EJ, we were met by another representative Elvis who helped us choose our car for the week. He was quick and helpful with the process giving us enough time to figure out our best fit vehicle.As we were about to leave the Enterprise parking lot, we were met by another representative, whose name I cant remember, who showed us a magic trick and left us with a send off saying, Welcome to California. :)Overall, Enterprise is the way to go. From their 24 hour service to their quick shuttles that take you straight to the airport. The corporate team should give EJ, Elvis, and the rest of the team raises for their amazing hospitality and kindness! (We even took a photo of our rental because we loved it so much)

Comment: I don’t rent cars at the airport because of the expense, preferring to Uber it to another Enterprise in the area, but I wanted to rent a luxury car and believe it or not, renting one at LAX was the most affordable (who knows why).I wanted an Audi SUV but they didn’t have any upon arrival, so they upgraded me to an Audi coupe convertible.I made a reservation beforehand and checked in online, turning down their insurance. When I got there, I breezed through. They didn’t ask for proof of insurance, which is a first, nor were there any pushy sales tactics. I went straight outside and that’s when one of the agents worked with me to find a good car I would be happy with.Asia even spent valuable time explaining the different features and some other useful goodies with the car. She was excellent!It was a fun ride and handled well in traffic and on the highways. The sport feature was especially fun with the top down. Used a half a tank and filled up for $5.07 premium in Koreatown for about $39. Prepaid for a full tank is $75.Drop off was a breeze.

They saw my wheelchair and upgraded me to an SUV so it would fit in the back easily. When a tire popped they not only switched out our vehicle no questions asked but 2 managers followed up with me and offered me money off AND doubled the number I suggested.I didnt even Karen or complain and they just gave me money off because they wanted me to have a great experience with them. Brianna and Bryana (yes, they have the same names but different spellings) deserve to be recognized for their specialized knowledge and superior customer service skills. Brianna, who was working at the booth near the car drop-off at the time, expertly and quickly managed my rental car situation and luxury car needs. Bryana at the car pick-up quickly helped pair at least 10 to 15 customers to their rental cars in no more than 5 to 7 minutes. Despite having to manage a long line of customers with varied temperaments, needs and rental requests, Bryana provided expert service with a smile. While Bryana was helping me choose a car, she listened attentively to my needs, and paired me with a perfect rental car, a 3 series hybrid BMW - it was almost brand new with only 1,000 miles on it! Finally, upon returning the car, David was pleasant and quickly checked the car in. Thank you all - this location is highly recommended!

The model, age, cleanliness etc.Swapping out is a nightmare and you are at the mercy of the returns manager. If you get the same ones I had they will ensure you feel terrible for returning a car because it had issues.I hired over two separate occasions. First experience was a streamlined and friendly one. On the second occasion I expected the same experience as the first time. I received a dirty car (dirty inside) that I decided to swap out by driving 30min back to LAX. That car actually turned out to have mechanical issues, and I was presented with alternatives that were disgusting inside (but told this is normal after a weekend). I finally got lucky with a clean car but boy, the manager made sure you felt especially welcome for the privilege of taking up their time.

Comment: Very good overall experience with Enterprise, flying into LAX internationally after a long-haul flight is not much fun, once we found the shuttle it was quite quick to the off-airport pick up site. I had done the online check-in so was told to go straight to the car park pick up queue, but once I got there they couldnt find my reservation so I had to go back to the main desk. Got back out to the car park and a slightly disinterested employee said we had a choice of cars, but not the BMW X3 we had booked... She said shed go downstairs to see if any were in prep but in the meantime another member of staff saw me looking lost and asked if I needed help, and found me a freshly washed & cleaned X3. So once the paperwork was sorted we were quickly on our way. The car was excellent, and return was very easy with no sneaky extra charges, unlike another big car rental company wed used before that starts with B. Car was a 5 out of 5, experience at the pick up/ drop off 4. But Id definitely use again.

Comment: BEST Enterprise experience ever! Quick, easy to find shuttle at LAX. Organized and speedy check in. Bryant, who helped us get our vehicle, made sure we had the AWD vehicle we needed because we were roadtripping through the mountains and they were getting snow. He found us a beautiful and safe vehicle with only 4 miles on it... still smelled new and so reliable! Drop off was also incredible late night, they even provided a personal shuttle to take us to our hotel so I didnt have to get an Uber. Top notch service!!!!

Comment: Arrived late from the airport and they have shuttles waiting to take you.Was able to check in online beforehand so when you get there you can just walk straight to the parking lot.Employee that helped us out (forgot her name) was super nice and friendly!Originally wanted the jeep gladiator but it wouldn’t turn on when she went to check it. Watched her try to get it to start and it never did so we had to get another truck. Was disappointed I couldn’t get the one I originally wanted but had no issues with this truck and dropping it off was easy and quick too.No deposit if you pay with credit card and have a return itinerary.

Comment: I had a very good experience renting a vehicle from this location. The service provided by staff Robertson was excellent. We had come to celebrate our anniversary here in LA & Vegas and had rented a vehicle for 5 days. Since it was our special occasion, I had requested for a free upgrade & to my utter surprise they had given me an Audi Q3 without any extra cost. Thank you again Robertson for taking extra care of us and going above and beyond to make our trip a memorable one. I would highly recommend Enterprise for any future car rental. The entire process from pick up to drop off was very fluid and efficient. The shuttle service is very good too with some amazing helpful drivers.

Comment: I came here with a prepaid voucher for a one-way rental (Cars&Camper), smooth check-in, no upselling and the car was in pretty good condition. There were no issues when returning the car at PHX after two weeks on the road, the checkout was just as smooth. Id rent here again.

Comment: I rented a car for 3 weeks, picked it up in Inglewood but I had to swap it in LAX, and thank god SHAY works for enterprise, she made things very easy and showed genuine care on my two visits to LAX.I had a blown tyre in Yosemite National Park and the car did not have the proper tools to change the tyre, it had the device to lift the car but the device to remove the bolts did not fit the car bolts. Luckily for us a good samaritan stopped and helped with his own tools.I took the car to Modesto, CA and the people there were very helpful and swapped my mustang for a new one. Ive noticed on pick up that the rear tyres were low and asked to fill them up. The next day the same thing happened, so it looked like the car had a slow puncture in the rear tyre and I had to get air every morning before driving.This series of events made a part of our journey quite difficult and stressful.Lastly, I took the car back to LAX when I got back to Los Angeles and again, SHAY was very helpful and caring. She swapped the car straight away and we could now enjoy in LA.Long story short, I had 4 cars in 3 weeks mostly because of tyre issues, and even with all the setbacks Im giving enterprise a 4/5 mostly thanks to Shay, and the kindness of all their employees. Thanks to them I will be more than happy to rent with Enterprise again.

Comment: Started out as a 5 star experience. Ended up at a 1 star experience after getting scammed.We originally booked and prepaid a reservation with Avis (through our company) and when we got to Avis the line was out the door and around the building. People (also with prepaid reservations) had been there for 3 hours when they finally got through the line (to wait again for the car to show up). After waiting in line for about an hour at Avis, we decided to head over to Enterprise and had a GREAT experience. We walked right in and got our car. The service was excellent.Dropping off the car was also smooth and extremely efficient. But when we dropped it off, they asked if we filled up the car with gas (which we did), and we responded yes. They then went ahead and charged us for filling up the tank anyway. We had to get in contact with customer service in order for them to refund us that, but is was SUCH A PAIN!So what would of been a 5 star experience went down to a 1 star experience, because it felt like they were trying to scam us out of money and were so reluctant to correct their mistake.

Comment: Nice car.But one of the shuttle driver is extremely awful.I returned the car at 10:00am 27/June/2022.and I took the shuttle heading to airport .I was first passenger in that shuttle and I told driver my airline is UA in T7.He said okay( I didn’t notice that he didn’t take note. )After about 20 minutes, I found out that he drove back to rental center.I asked him why he didn’t stop at T7. He said he had asked twice during this drive.I said I was the first passenger and I already told you where my destination was.And he suddenly stopped the shuttle on the road and loose his seat-belt. Standing up yelling at me.In order to not wasted other passengers’ time, I asked him just keep driving.When i took another shuttle, I realized other driver would take notes about every stops and broadcasting during the drive.The worst car rental’s experience in US(The driver is a mid-aged man who driving this shuttle around 10:00am 27/June/2022.)

Comment: Picked up and dropped off cars here multiple times over last few years. Too bad it’s not right at the airport, but the shuttle makes it reasonably convenient. Be realistic with timing and plan out the shuttle ride, some days it can take a while because traffic around the airport is terrible.Service is great. Selection cars is abundant. Quality of cars has been great in my experience, and I usually get free upgrades.

Comment: Great experience all around. I always felt and known frome experience if you take a shuttle for car delivery its a pain always but this wasnt the case at all. We waited like 2 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and pickup was so easy. They offered us options to upgrade and they really took the time to explain everything in detail. I mean everything put together it took like 30 minutes for us to land and get inside the car. We rented a camaro ss and it was beautiful. Clean and had low milage.

Comment: This Enterprise was in LA and as soon as you walk in there is instant help and I was able to get my rental (and free vehicle upgrade) in no time by using their kiosks. Upon returning the vehicle, I was rear ended on the 101 freeway and was able to call, report the accident and do the claim process over the phone which allowed me to return the car (they were ready and waiting for me) and make my shuttle to the airport. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Comment: UPDATE 8/16/2019: Enterprise’s Damage Recovery Unit has written back to erase their claim, after I submitted an appeal. I’m changing my 1 star review to a 5 star as a response, but keeping the details of the original review below in case someone runs into a similar situation.ORIGINAL REVIEW (1 star):I have been a renter with Enterprise for 5 years - 2 as a Platinum Plus member, 1 as a Gold. I have never had a bad experience until I rented from this Enterprise at LAX in June 2019.I was invoiced 2 weeks after returning the vehicle for nearly $1,000 to repair damages that did not occur while I was using the vehicle. When I dropped off the rental car, Enterprise had me fill out a Express Incident Report to report a couple basically invisible, minor dents (see for yourself in these photos). I told him they must have been from before, and I must have missed them in the walkaround, and he assured me it wouldnt be a problem.Ive never had this happen before at any Enterprise location, and Ive been to a lot. I feel deceived by the people at this location and my confidence with Enterprise, built up over 5 years, is now shot.Im including photos in the claim to show how invisible the dents are, and how impossible it would be to notice these dents on a walkaround when the car is covered in beads of water.

Comment: Fast, efficient. We collected the car in less than 30 mins of arriving there. The even let us choose from a variety of cars for our type of booking. Cars were well maintained and clean without any issues throughout our 10 days here. Do note that theyll need you to bring the same credit card you used to make the booking and remember to activate the magnetic strip as it is required to put a deposit on the card. Returning the car was fast and efficient as well. Took less than 10 mins.

From the shuttle driver, to the counter to the exit check, service was friendly and efficient. Car rental often is just a frustrating but necessary process of travel. Comment: After arriving to the front desk the assistant told me that we can’t pick up a car without reservation for that day. Then suggested us to try and see if I could book and reserve a car online. After checking online I was able to reserve a full size car. Later I showed my reservation paid for the car then was instructed to go out front and someone there will assist me with picking up the car. After waiting a little bit it was my turn to pick up the car so I asked to the assistant if they have a Camry available and he said that there was one but he was not sure if it was still there but then I spotted it and it turned out to be the one which was a 2019 Camry SE. it was a good car but for some reason it had way too many scratches for such a new low milage car. Interior was also nice but had some stains at some places. So because of seeing all the scratches I asked about full coverage that includes wear and tear and he told me all the coverages available. The full coverage which we took included wear and tear, wheels, windshield, road side assistance, liability and more. we were told that it would be $33 per day which was not too bad so we took it. Unfortunately after calculating from my online receipt it ends up being close to $41 per day. This is the only reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 otherwise return of the car was easy as well. The shuttle driver was nice and professional.

At the end of our trip we just drove up they took a quick look at the mileage and we were back to the airport on the free shuttle. The vehicle was perfect for our week of running around Los Angeles.

Comment: Horrible experience here. Rented me an SUV that had body damage above the rear passenger wheel well. The young lady helping me out stated that the system has this damage marked and that everything is okay. Took the vehicle anyway only to find out that the rear passenger turn signal is out thus, I returned the vehicle within 10 minutes. The young lady that helped me out was mysteriously on lunch when I got back however, there was another rude young lady who basically accused me of damaging the vehicle and attempting to fraudulently return it. She was speaking loudly where everyone could hear which was beyond embarrassing. Called over a manager who basically gave me another vehicle but still couldnt see that this vehicle had prior damage in the system.The next vehicle they gave me also had damage (see attached) so I immediately asked for another manager who then came over to assess. She told the worker not to rent the second SUV because she didnt feel comfortable. I began to explain the situation and she cuts me off to say oh Ive already heard about it. So I guess I was the talk of the whole rental place at that point.I rent from Enterprise on a regular basis for work but that may change after this last visit. I for sure wont be renting from this location whenever I return to LA. Moral of the story, call a manager if you see any damage. Dont believe that theyre already aware of it.

Comment: Being unfamiliar with the LAX area, we spent a great deal of time calling rental car companies to get questions answered and comparing prices etc.This one not only does great on pricing, but the staff set it apart.When we were calling, we were able to get through to a real person at the location easily and they answered all of our questions and were friendly and just great. That was not the case at other rental centers we called.They put our mind at ease and made us feel like this was the place for us.Because of that interaction, we will rent from them and so will our friends and family.Good Job! We look forward to visiting your location for our rental needs!UPDATE TO THE ORIGINAL REVIEW!Our rental experience was not good. It was late and dark when we picked the car up. We did not realize how dirty the car was til the next morning in daylight.The car was really dirty ( see photos) and the shuttle driver who took us to the airport deliberately dropped us off 4 terminals away from where we had to go and almost caused us to miss our flight. No one from the location has returned our calls to try to address the issues or reimburse for the additional costs relating to cleaning the car out and the issues. We have contacted the Corporate offices now and filed a complaint with the BEtter Business Bureau. We are so disappointed.10-17-2017Spoke with the business and happy to report they made it right and addressed our concerns. So while our initial experience was not good, in the end they took care of it .I am hopeful our situation was just an isolated thing and not the norm.

Comment: Friendly, fast reliable and always ready to help. The location is a little off and does require a shuttle to get here, but those shuttles are nice and come often. The shuttles are also nice and comfortable. Some of the drivers are a little aggressive but hey it’s LAXThe inventory is plentiful and beautiful, I’ve always had a clean vehicle.There are rushes that happen so I highly recommend signing up on line and also making a reservation this way, it will save you lots of time and I feel that the staff appreciates it.Be kind. Remember that the reservations people have seen people from all over the planet so please have a little leeway, they will take care of you..

Comment: This location mishandles and potentially steals misplaced property. I left my phone in a rental vehicle and subsequently filed a lost item report. I spoke with an enterprise employee who assured me that the phone had been found and passed off for shipping. I never received my phone back, never received an update to my missing item report, and when following up with me contact he refused to provide further details or contact details for anybody who had handled my phone. The only thing left to assume after following up 10+ times and not receiving my phone a month later is that it was intentionally stolen by an Enterprise employee.
