Comment: Dr. Marie is a highly skilled NUCCA chiropractor. I started seeing Dr. Marie because of hip and back pain. Traditional chiropractic can be a bit scary, especially as someone with a history of back spasms and pain. Dr. Marie is very gentle, the NUCCA technique consists of just slight pressure. My back pain resolved very quickly, within a few sessions. But when my hip pain did not, and because she is excellent at what she does and a true professional, she knew that something else was likely going on. She took an x-ray and based on what she saw recommended I get seen by an orthopedist, who confirmed severe arthritis. I highly recommend Dr. Marie and Equilibrium Spinal Care!

Comment: I have been seeing Dr Marie for about one year aftermy daughter in law discovered her and was so pleased my son with back problems used her services as well as their five year old son after a fall. All felt much better and suggested I see her for my chronic back pain. At 81 I thought I was a goner or at least need some kind of back surgery. On a scale of one to ten i was consistenlt between eight and eleven, sometimes worse. It has taken a while but I am glad to say I am between a one and four at the most. I highly reccomend her services. Appointments are gentle quick and provided in positive manner. I give her a five star rating without hesitation.

Comment: I found Dr. Marie online and I am so glad I did. I am a runner and although I was not in a lot of pain, I could tell that I was imbalanced. My left foot usually worked harder than my right in my runs. My posture seemed like it was getting worse every day. I booked an appointment with Dr Marie. Comment: I wish I could give Dr. Marie 10 stars. She quite literally saved my life. I had a head injury, and after four months I was getting worse each day instead of better. Chronic migraine, vertigo, light sensitivity (none of which I had before I hit my head). I went to the ER twice, saw many MDs and none were able to help. After a few months of Dr. Maries care and advice, I am back to feeling like myself again. Dr. Marie is extremely knowledgable about the human body, she will also refer you to additional providers if needed.If you are someone who has a leg length difference, I would see her! I have had a leg length difference for the past 15 years at least, and now by fixing my spinal alignment, my legs are the same length. Even if its not directly causing you pain, it could be a sign you would benefit from NUCCA.Dr. Marie does an intake appointment and wont proceed with you as a client if she doesnt think she can help you. If youre in chronic pain, I would definitely give Dr. Marie a shot.Most importantly, NUCCA is safe and painless. I have seen traditional chiros in the past, and I feel so much safer about the NUCCA method that Dr. Marie uses as opposed to having my head and neck whipped around.

Comment: Im 74 years old and in good health. In the middle of the night I was awakened with severe pain in my legs and the bottoms of my feet, never before experienced. My legs were so sore I couldnt touch my legs together. The bottoms of my feet were needly and numb, but painful to walk on. A weekend on-call doctor was able to get me to remember a bad fall that I had 3 or 4 months previously, and she believed it was nerve damage related to spinal compression somewhere in my back or hips. Instead if going in for x-rays and cat scans, I decided to try a highly recommended chiropractor at Equilibrium, named Dr. Marie Biek.Dr. Marie also took x-rays and used her unique method of realigning the spine with a simple small amount of pressure on the top vertebra. She also works on various parts of the body that are having socket or bone problems, such as when my right shoulder that I had fallen on became the focus of intense pain, especially during the night, waking me up often. Pain and rehabilitation from a fall can be a long process, especially with nerve damage. But my recovery has been steady. I can walk comfortably again. My legs are finally completely healed, and the bottoms of my feet are improving. Now I trust my shoulder problems to her, and I can already tell things are improving.Dr. Marie is empathetic, an excellent listener, and a calmly optimistic person. Comment: I was rear-ended in a auto accident in January 2020, by a sleeping driver, as I was coming to a stop at a light. The right side of my body, knee, hip and lower back was injured when I jammed on the brake after getting hit. Afterwards I started working with a PT while in pain. I couldn’t continue and gave up, went into depression. My husband helped me to see I needed to do something about my pain. I prayed for help. And then I went online and found this NUCCA. I was in so much pain, I was afraid of going to a traditional chiropractor but knew I needed someone to think of me as a whole person and not treat me as separate body parts with problems. This is how I met Dr. Marie Biek. She had great reviews. I saw she treated people as a whole person, so I contacted her and went to see her. She listened to me, she looked at me and I could see in her eyes she cared and could help. She told me she could help. I believed her. She is so warm and friendly and caring. So she did the preliminary work and took some x-rays of my head and upper spine then she adjusted my atlas. That was it. I got up and low and behold, I was walking straight and a lot of the pain was gone. I got home and my husband noticed I was not leaning any more. I had to call her and thank her. I continued going to her twice a week.Something I was doing or my pillow was causing me to come out of adjustment. She made some suggestions and I followed. Comment: I had a pain in my back running down my leg for months. I drive a bus for a living so I would notice the pain every day while driving. I thought this pain might be something that I would have to deal with permanently. My friend told me I should see Dr. Marie. I’ve never been to a chiropractor before so I was really sceptical and anxious about it. When I went in for my first appointment Dr. Marie did a really thourough assesment and X-rays which made me feel like really safe. I also learned a ton about how my alignment could be affecting my overall health. The next visit is when I got my adjustment and I can’t even describe how amazing it felt. This feeling was definetly not something I expected. As soon I got up off the table I felt lighter and walking was so much easier. I know it will sound weird but I also felt much clearer and like my senses were turned up a notch. Most importantly though when I was driving home after the adjustment, I didn’t feel any pain at all. I have honestly not felt that pain since that adjustment and I still cannot believe it. Anyone who has low back pain or leg pain you definitely need to try Dr. Marie. Her technique is unique and super effective!!

I really like the NUCCA technique, as it has helped me with POTS symptoms (dizziness, low energy, brain fog, neck/back pain, joint pain) when other treatments & doctors that I’ve tried haven’t worked. I always leave her office feeling relaxed, aligned, and comfortable - all things that are pretty rare for me with POTS. After years of dizziness upon standing, brain fog, and sciatica with lower back pain, Dr. Marie Biek explained thoroughly to me how everything is correlated in the spine and the brain. Comment: I started seeing Dr. Biek after getting a concussion. I had headaches, brain fog, dizziness, weakness, and a bunch of other symptoms. I thought upper cervical chiropractic might help my recovery along. After the very first adjustment I could tell the difference: improved mental clarity and a more stable feeling in my body overall. Comment: I am so glad to have found Dr. Marie and NUCCA! I started seeing her for postural issues, with hopes for getting help with chronic, mild pain in my left shoulder and right knee. I wanted to work with her and try NUCCA because it seemed to make sense for my neck curve (adjusting primarily the atlas,, the vertebra under the skull at the top of the spine), and because my previous experience with cracking chiropracty was that it was unpleasant and didnt hold. Comment: I had heard a lot of good things about Dr Marie and her NUCCA technique, after spending the last few years seeing other chiropractors and physiotherapists with very little progress I thought I would give her a call. Whilst serving in the military I suffered an accident which resulting in having Hip surgery, ever since that point I have been suffering with chronic Hip and back pain. My first appointment with Dr Marie, she took some X-rays of my neck and explained to me that my body was misaligned which was most likely causing the discomfort. After that initial examination she set to work and ever since My posture has improved, Ive stopped walking with a limp and the pain I was feeling has dramatically reduced. Comment: I would highly recommend a visit to see Doctor Marie at Equilibrium Spinal Care.My story - years of pain and discomfort, pressure in back of neck area, crooked shoulders and pain throughout my entire right side, through shoulder area, sacral tightness and pain, depression, some numbness, headaches, brain fog and chronic fatigue.Experienced whiplash in a car accident a few years ago that worsened things. Went through all types of body work, re-alignment therapy and exercises. These things all helped but never resolved the underlying issue. I heard about Nucca care but was concerned about going to just any doctor.
