Estes was unwilling to assist me with a delay caused by a company they subcontracted to finalize the delivery of my items. After spending a grief filled day on the phone and being lied to by Estes employees, I do not recommend their services.
I love using Estes to set up my pickups. They are quick and always a pleasure to deal with. Id love to give a personal feedback to Deborah at Estes she always in the best mood and is very friendly.
Estes delivered hardwood flooring to my garage using a hand jack. The driver accidentally broke a brand new drain grate. He noted it on the bill slip and told me to call dispatch to let them know. I did just that and they asked me to send a picture (Which I did) and that they would get back to me. I heard nothing for 2 days so I called and again, once more I was told that they would call me back and they did not. I tried one more time and still no call. I finally gave up and fixed the grate at my expense and time. Not pleased with Estes and will never recommend them.
We had such a great experience with Estates Express Lines. Nate and Jessica went out of their way to get the job done and were a pleasure to deal with. We so appreciate your efforts!
Great people I have used Estes many times our merchandise always comes un damaged and on time .
Every time I call their employees sound like they are robots. Can barely understand them a lot of noise in the back round. If the people on the phone sounded as half happy as the people in the back round laughing and messing around you guys might have a better review on here. Crazy thought.

They treat their employees terribly and would rather blame the driver for a accident so they didnt have to pay for repairs. They only care about making money off their drivers and not care about them

2022-07-08Our order from Lowes is being shipped by Estes to our home. They text me for confirmation and assure that we will be home. Delivery scheduled 9am-2pm confirmation done. No show, check tracking it shows confirmation 3pm -7pm yesterday and again no show. No response from them.Communication would be awesome if it was accurate

2021-05-11This review is for the Grand Rapids, Michigan Estes Express location.I cant emphasize enough what a stellar job the entire team did for me. Susan Smith was extraordinary in her customer service, working with me on the delivery. My father passed away & I was unexpectedly out of state. She worked with me on the delivery date, as well as working out how to place the crates in my driveway.Despite all the help, I called on delivery day in a panic. Susan was not yet in, but Kathy took my call, reviewed my delivery notes, and assured me that the delivery driver was excellent & we should be able to work it out.She was correct. Ed delivered the 2 crates (which weighed over 3300 lbs) and worked with me to find a spot for them. He was polite, helpful and efficient; a joy to work with.From Susans help & understanding, to Kathys patience & calming influence, to Eds fantastic delivery, the entire team was polite, helpful and focused on making this delivery a success. I cant thank them enough.

2022-01-13We have to use this freight company through one of our suppliers. We use several different freight companies through our other suppliers and Estes is by far the worst. They never call to schedule delivery and will leave pallets sitting for days without movement if you dont stay on top of them and call them every day. If you can use a different company I would highly recommend that you do.

Customer service is very knowledgeable always answers the phone hardly any waiting time before you talk to them.The drivers are just as good, always pleasant to our customers. I would highly recommend this company to hull your product to its final destination.

2021-08-05They used a truck that wasn’t designed to handle large items (no lift gate evidently). The drive pretty much threw our new boiler on the ground on 6 inches from the road. I will be sure to just have my future Home Depot orders sent for store pick up to avoid this company

2020-08-11Exasperated! Thats how I feel right now. I ordered some furniture that is being delivered by Estes in Wyoming, MI. I have been given 4 delivery appointments. The first appointment was a week ago. I received a call stating that there was a mix-up with my delivery. No problem, I am flexible and understanding. The second appointment was made for the next day. I received another call that day stating that their drivers truck broke down. No problem, I am flexible and understanding. The third appointment was scheduled for yesterday. No phone call and no show. I have just made my 3rd phone call today to find out why my items were not delivered yesterday. The very same gentleman I have spoken to each time informed me that he doesnt know what happened and why my items were not delivered. He gave me a 4th appointment for tomorrow evening. Why should I believe Estes will deliver my furniture tomorrow? This is an unacceptable level of service!

2021-07-20I have had multiple large items delivered by this company. Everytime the items are shipped on a double pallet. Evertime they havent had the proper pallet jack to move the item. This time they destroyed the pallet causing a week long delay. Deborah in the office being so helpful suggested I come pick the item up that theyve been paid to ship. There are so many other carriers around here, do yourself a favor and use any of them instead of Estes.

2020-08-11Exasperated! Thats how I am feeling right now. I have just had Estes make a 4th appointment with me for delivery of my outdoor furniture from Lowes.com. The first appointment was a week ago. I received a call on that appointment date stating that there was a mix-up with my order. No problem, I am flexible and understanding. A second appointment was made for the next day. On that day I received a call stating the drivers truck broke down. No problem, I am flexible and understanding. A third appointment was made for yesterday. The day came and went - no delivery. I just made my third phonecall to Estes today to try to find out where my furniture is. The same gentleman I have spoken to each time (he is very polite and professional on the phone) told me that he doesnt know why the delivery was not made. He made a 4th appointment for delivery tomorrow evening. At this point, do I believe that my furniture will be delivered tomorrow? No I do not. This is unacceptable!

2019-06-24I have been working with Estes for a couple of years. These guys are all very friendly and helpful. Placing pickup requests is a simple process. I am always able to get same day pick ups. My local driver is amazing and always helpful. The team at Estes is a pleasure to work with.
