Comment: The new early check in option is spectacular. Literally just walk up to the lot attendant and get your car. In the past, I have spent over an hour just waiting in line to get to the counter to check in. No more of that, thank god.

Comment: I recently rented from Enterprise Exotics at LAX. Customer service at arrival was great. I rented a Masarati SUV and the check engine light came on the second day I had it. I called to let them know and continued to drive it for the remainder of my 5 day stay because they would only exchange the car for me at the airport (which I was 2 hours away from) despite having locations closer to me.The following day (after returning rental), I received an email from a Hector Montes who is a station manager with a couple people cc’ed to apologize and ask if anything could be done. I asked for a partial credit for the rental or for a future rental. Radio silence thereafter, even after I replied to all twice for an update. You would think someone from that email would try to resolve this issue. It’s been over a month and I’m not holding my breath. Horrible customer service from SLT level is a huge reflection on the company as a whole.

Comment: The front desk woman were great but for the price of the exotic rental the car was trashed we had to point out all the scratches all over the car. Inside it was clear someone had been smoking in the car both cigarettes and pot yet the guy kept blowing it off and the outside wasn’t cleaned properly!! He said to us they turn them over fast!! Not my problem!! When your renting at that price point those cars should be clean and Undamaged!!! No discount was offered nothing and we had to get going!!!Im only giving it two stars for the women at the front desk !!!!

Comment: My husband and I wanted to rent a Tesla for our honeymoon when we got to LA. We appreciate the service especially during this time of COVID-19. The person who was helping us was extremely patient with us when having to look up our insurance policy number to add on to the account. And their other colleagues who were helping us when doing the assessment of the vehicle was nice as well.

Comment: I rented a Tesla and after driving the car and go into a charging port the car didnt have the adapter to charge being stuck at 9 p.m. call roadside assistance nobody couldnt help me until 3 and 1/2 hours later what a disaster had to take a taxi home for $120 nobody from Enterprise answered the phone nobody from 24-hour Enterprise roadside assistance was able to help me until 3 hours later what a disaster Enterprise really needs to get it together

Comment: Had some initial trouble with the vehicle. Something I thought I may get charged for. I called Enterprise customer service about an hour after I drove it off the lot and made sure the problem was on file. Upon returning the vehicle, the manager was understanding and offered to solve the problem. He didnt charge me and offered some compensation for the inconvenience. I would definitely come back here.

Comment: Would give 0 stars if possible. Computer system from 1995, only a simple card magnetic strip reader. Got told our cards were too old/used when they dont even have the newest technology like a chip reader.Then was told that he couldnt type in the numbers for security reasons even though myself, my card, my license, and any other form of identification in my wallet was standing RIGHT in front of him. Absolute joke. Convinced at this point that the sales associate just did not want to rent the car to us.

Comment: I really had a good experience at Enterprise. The car I orginally made reservations for wasnt available. But they accommodated me with a vehicle i never considered. And it was good driving experience . Thanks forthe BMW 740i. Returning was just as great. All the employees was very friendly. I highly recommend Enterprise . Will be returning to get that Posche.

Comment: They never answer their phone. I rented a Tesla and accidentally put it in valet mode and couldn’t take it out of that mode unless I had a password. Absolutely no help on their end and my only option was to get it towed. Their communication is horrible. Also, the key fob battery was low so at any point I could’ve completely lost access to the vehicle. They should have a feature where you can temporarily log into the vehicle Via the Tesla app. I recommend the Beverley Hills Exotic over this one. Only problem is they are closed Sunday which is why I used this place in the first place. I regret it.

Comment: Rented the Tesla Model S 75D. Its an amazing car. I was hoping it would be the Performance model, but despite that, the performance didnt disappoint. It would be five stars, except, for some reason, there was some sort of ant infestation in the car. This occurred as soon as we got in the car to the moment we dropped it off 7 days later. Ants wouldnt stop coming out of the seats; it was crazy. Were wondering if the last driver took it in the mountains because there was tree sap on the side of the car that wouldnt come off. Otherwise it was a great car and the people at enterprise were fantastic.

Comment: I managed to get a Tesla S for a week for only 40.00 more than the cheapest rental at the LAX Enterprise. Considering how little I paid to have the car for a week, you would never know it from the way I was treated at the rental desk. They were helpful and friendly and treated me like I rented Exotics all the time! The car was immaculate and they went through the charging of it and the information screen with patience and professionalism.Thanks Enterprise for a great experience!

Comment: When I picked the car up, it reeked of a very strong marijuana odor. I realize this is California, but the smell was so powerful that it lingered in the car for the entire four days that I rented the vehicle. I chose to keep the car bc I really wanted to rent a Tesla, and the only other one available was a White one with a large scratch on it (paint came off). Service was good, prompt with no issues. The key fob died two days after I rented the vehicle which meant that I could not unlock the doors to enter the vehicle. I called Enterprise customer service to see if they could get someone to bring a battery to me or another key fob, to which they said No, and there was nothing that they could do other than tow the vehicle. They said I needed to find a ride to the Enterprise location to get the battery changed. I decided to walk to a couple of stores to find the correct battery. Battery cost about $6. When I dropped the vehicle off I mentioned what happened to the person checking in my vehicle. I was called within 15 mins and offered a $50 discount from the price of my rental, which I did appreciate. I suggested that for Tesla rentals that Enterprise provide a spare key fob battery in the glove box or trunk area. Or give us a direct number to call for issues. Overall, I was happy with the rental and was only inconvenienced for about 2 hours. I am glad that they offered a discount and was quick to follow up with me. I will continue to rent from Enterprise.

Comment: I have a lot of experience with exotic car rental and this was without a doubt the worst car rental experience I have ever had, bar none.We reserved two corvettes for collection after our flight arrived from London, on arrival we waited for over an hour for somebody to finally assist us despite being told multiple times that someone would be ‘right with us.’ The staff seemed more interested in eating lunch than providing a good service.When we were finally sat down to go through the paperwork and handle our reservation, we were told that a ‘new policy since the day before’ meant that no named drivers were now allowed. Not ideal when you need to share the driving on a long trip for a holiday, and despite the reservation details making it very clear that additional named drivers were no issue. When presented with the facts that this changed the basis of our rental, we were told ‘you don’t have to take the rental’ again, not exactly ideal when you have booked 4 months in advance and have arrived from a 13 hour journey, it doesn’t leave you with many options. The staff were extremely unhelpful, rude, and repeatedly said ‘you don’t have to take a rental at all’ rather than trying to help us come to a solution, which really ruined the start of our trip and presented a rather untenable situation.We ended up chancing on a walk in down the road at sixt rather than have to deal with the obstructive unhelpful staff at enterprise exotics any longer and they were extremely helpful, friendly, allowed 2 drivers on each vehicle so we could share the driving with no issues and gave the start of our trip a much needed boost.Avoid Enterprise exotic car rental at all cost, an absolute disgrace.

The check in took a little bit to wait for the car, but the Porsche Macan was an outstanding car. The check out gate and the check-in process was really easy. Comment: Outstanding service from the management team with some issues I experienced with my rental. The car was relatively clean but didnt look like it was waxed at all. Went out of my way to buy the materials to put a couple coats of wax on the car. Brought this up to Brittany and her assistant. They promptly compensated me making every effort to ensure I was completely satisfied and taken care of. Thank you again, will definitely be returning next year.

Comment: Generally speaking I love renting from enterprise and has given them my business for nearly a decade. However coming into LAX had been horrible. Arrived late in the evening and had to wait for 45 mins for shuttle to arrive. The shuttle smelled of weed and the driver was rude. The staff didnt care.Ill continue to rent from my usual locations but enterprise at LAX has lost my business forever.

Comment: So far all Car rental are same but this place has enough collection to choose your dream car. why i giving 2 stars because i dropped the car and wet to the shuttle bus stop then i realize i forgot my 25$ Nonda Zus lighting cable in the USB port and forgot my 12$ Sun block in glove Box and right away i went to the counter, they ask for the receipt and came back 15 mins later and telling me nothing inside the car except come trash. Unfortunate. so make sure taking everything with you when u return u car in that facility.

Comment: I payed for a luxury car and they downgraded me to a regular car but I still payed the original price I reserved it for. I said if I could come back and switch it. The next day I went and they still could not upgrade me to my reservation. So I got an in between reservation. I wasted like half my day trying to get what I reserved which ended up taking time form my vacation.I will never rent from this location again. I thought I would be treated different for having spent so much money with them over the years.

When I return the car I tried to report it and was rushed to return the car. I went out to another expecting driver. I hope they have the opportunity to report it. It seems that when you are offered to choose a car that you should get that car it should not be offered.

Comment: Well it was a crazy experience to say the least. We had originally been booked for midsize car, my husband and I had a coupon for an upgrade to full-size. The person offered us a Nissan Altima or Hyundai Sonata. We had decided on the sonata, well when our person popped the trunk I saw a knife in the trunk. He grabbed the knife and then left us, he went inside to take it to manager. We were then left waiting outside, no one else helped us or anything for a few minutes. When he came back he asked if we still wanted the sonata, and of course I declined. The other car he offered had drove off, and he just stood there like we had no choice. told him this was very upsetting, I told him I was not taking the car we found a knife in, he offered us a small car, and we declined. We ended up telling him the exact car we would like and he got us into it. Appearently if a person finds a weapon or something in a car they get a bonus, so he said. Needless to say, we finally got into a car. When we returned it, it was over half a tank of gas, and they charged me almost 30 dollars to fill up a small camaro? This was ridiculous as well. But I guess it’s just how it works. The wait for the shuttle bus was forever long on the way back to the airport as well. We enjoy using enterprise but this experience was something we never had to deal with before.... they are a good agency for rentals but I hope no one has to experience what we did this previous time. :/

Comment: Recently made a trip to LA and used Enterprise since I have the discount through work. The staff at the LAX location was excellent. Soon as I walked in the door, I was directed to one of the self-serve kiosks. Once my rental agreement was printed off, I went outside greeted by a rep immediately with my rental. My rental was ready right away, so I didnt have to wait long. The return process was very quick. Only took a few minutes. If I return to LA, I will definitely go with Enterprise.

It took a long time to get my papers from the silly kiosk and eventually was helped by an agent. Nice enough and friendly. Then had to outside and wait for my turn to get with an agent who walked me to choose a car out of 4. Took close to 30 minutes.After that, it was all good.

Comment: Im not super happy with the two back-to-back trips that I took to LA. I left on the 9/8 and returned 9/12. For the four days of rental I thought the price was good. I took another trip to the exact same location on 9/15 and returned on 9/19. I booked the exact same car with the exact same options, but the car was $147.27 more than the previous trip. I usually like to stick to a routine so I dont have to shop around to much, but it looks like Im going to have to look for other alternatives for my upcoming trips. They have great service, but this was not acceptable in my opinion.

Comment: I made this reservation for my mom while she was in town. Her license expired a few days into the rental but we had already renewed months in advance and had arranged for her to pick it up once she arrived. When she arrived from the airport she didnt have the actual renewed drivers license, but her current license had not expired it and we did have proof via email and printed documents from the dmv website that her license was renewed. This LAX location told her she would have to bring her actual renewed license to an enterprise location so she could keep the car. She showed the murrietta enterprise location her renewed license and they said they would call the LAX location to let them know they had seen it so we could continue with the car the days we reserved. The next day I received a snippy voicemail from an Ebony at the LAX location asking when we planned on returning the car and emails saying my rental was due back when in fact we had two or three days left that were already paid for. looks like the left hand did not talk to the right hand.

Comment: I have always been a loyal customer of Enterprise, always very pleased with their service, and vehicle I have been given. Unfortunately this time was not a great experience. I was offered a vehicle was not what I had chose to rent, and when I repeatedly asked for a different car on the lot, the gentleman shrugged his shoulders and chuckled at me. Long story short, my persistence got my a free upgrade after that. Well that free upgrade was infested with ants. My son and I must have killed 100 ants over the weekend, and also wiped down the insides of the doors where we could see they were coming from. Not happy.

Comment: It takes a little time to get picked up by the bus but the instructions were good so i knew right were to go. Once i got there pickup was easy, the car we got fit the need, nothing super fancy but was clean full of gas and worked well. Drop-off was also very quick at LAX location which was good as I had a flight to catch.The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the tires were really low on air when i got it. First off the windows were cleaned but had a film on the windows because they had not been wiped or very clean water used, small thing but its nice to be able to see out of windows well at night without a film on them. The low air lights came on and i had to spend about a half hour finding somewhere to air it up and get back on the road. Overall it was a good rental experience and will look to enterprise again but wish the small things like car maintenance (tire pressure and clean windows) were done.

My flight to vegas was recently cancelled last minute at 10pm so I called enterprise and they had a 24 hour location 5 minutes from the airport, within 15 minutes I was in a rental on my way to vegas. Best part was I returned it in vegas and flew back for no extra fee. Excellent service!!!

Comment: Over all a very positive experience. Only hiccup was in trying to get my car using the automatic sign in system. After spending about 5 minutes it sent me over to the counter to complete rental...which at this point had ten minute wait since I started with the automatic system. From there everything improved- I did get a nice new vehicle to drop at other location at the end of my rental. Thank you Enterprise!!

Comment: Enterprise had far fewer pick up busses than Hertz, Budget, National, etc.Wait time to pick up a car was >30 mins; thus 29 minutes greater than Hertz or National.Waited in 2 lines (confirmation line - for a reserved car - and pick up line - to be escorted to a car, which was not what I reserved).Staff mentioned that they werent expecting many customers that night and were understaffed.

Comment: When picking up your rental car you will be lulled into trying to upgrade your car - they will say your first choice is not available; dont fall for their trickery; be persistent and they will give something in the vehicle class you reserved (but do be aware that their car class system is convoluted and devious at best). Try to refill your tank before drop-off as their refueling charges are quite high. Other than that, the car we got was clean, operated well and the vast majority of the employees were very nice.

Enterprise they upgraded me to a larger car without me even requesting it, so I would ..be more comfortable and safe operating the vehicle. However, on my last weeks rental experience I must say I was highly disappointed in the interior appearance of the van I was renting. It was indeed dirty beyond a shadow of a doubt. I was told at the time of pickup oh well we can take it and have it clean for you. However I was on a time schedule that didnt allow any delay. I have made reservations so therefore I expected the vehicle to have been ready upon my arrival. That was the point in making the reservation. It appeared the outside had been wrenched off but nothing had been done to clean the interior of this vehicle. I was given a choice to choose another vehicle so I did. It too fell short of my expectation, nevertheless I took one of the other options rather than my first choice. My business associate an I were delayed in our departure because of the condition of the vehicles. The vehicle perform well no problems there. Young lady that checked me out did well. She was very accommodating. Tryed to help us find a van with a clean interior.It was hard! It shouldnt have been!We will be renting a 15 passenger van from you every Thursday for the entire month of September. I hope I never revisit my last experience @ LAX Airport location.

Comment: We rented at LAX standard SUV. WE were upgraded to a Chevy Trailblazer. After we left the airport we noticed it smelled terrible inside from either cigar or cigarette smoke. When we go to our hotel we called the location and explained how bad the car smelled. They asked us to return the car. I told them it was to far and too much of a hassle. I thought they would offer to bring a new car out. We had to drive five hours a few days later with a smelly car. So disappointed.

Did the right choice. The shuttle picked me up from the airport quickly. At their office I used the kiosk (first time I see kiosk in a car rental place). Quickly confirmed my info. Went outside, where an agent was waiting with a tablet. They showed me a couple of cars with running engines to choose from. I picked the car, signed, put my luggage in the trunk and left. The whole process took less than 10 minutes.

Comment: Low mileage Kia Soul drove smoothly and we had no mechanical problems with it. The intense, extremely-sweet, air freshener smell in the car, however, was so strong that it actually nauseated me the initial days of our rental. The odor was so intense that it persisted for the 10 days we had the car even though we parked the car in the sun and repeatedly aired it out. We checked multiple cars at the LAX rental location when picking up the car, and all smelled that way. Ive rented from Enterprise at other locations, and many of their rentals have the over-powering perfume stench. Ill be renting from another company next time.

Well Enterprise has a very good one Tracy was very helpful and professional she made sure I had the vehicle that met the needs of my family. the car that was available although it met the number of passengers criteria it did not have enough luggage space for all of us. she immediately asked me to wait a few minutes wile she would resolve my situation. 30 minutes latter I was on my way to a wonderful vacation with my loved ones. Comment: I reserved a premium car as advertised but they could not give me the same car. Besides, the car was extremely dirty inside and out. I did not realized at the beginning since it was 2 am in the morning, I was very tired. There was no windshield water in the tank, leaving me in the middle of driving with no cleaning the windshield. I had to stop and purchase and fill the tank.I had high expectations but Enterprise failed this time. I paid about $900 for rental, at least they can accommodate with a better and cleaner car for long renters. It was for business purposes and drove the car in the city mostly.

Comment: The process of getting the car was smoother than I remember in the past. Very much like an assembly line at the Enterprise near the LAX airport. The car was nice it was some sort of compact Nissan sorry dont remember which one. My only two complaints would be (1) the cost of renting a car which I still think is too high (Ended up being about $330 for four days) and (2) there was something wrong with the pickup in the car. Meaning the speed at which the car accelerated. I will still probably use Enterprise again in the future has they are large enough for me to trust the consistency of my experience and they can be a bit cheaper than other major car rentals that Ive looked at.

Comment: This was an unusual situation. Typically the process at this location is pretty efficient, but they got slammed (or something) cause this time it took a long time to get our car. The first time we used the e-Kiosk it didnt work. I got in line. Then tried a different kiosk and that time it worked. The line to get a car was really long. Then, when we me our agent to get the car she said, all we have left is luxury vehicles and vans... and I dont think you want a van... and then proceeded to get on the walkie-talkie and said that an sub-compact car was on the way. ??? ...The car that arrived was mess. Dirty inside (in several spots!), and the keys... the keys were all over the place. I had to get a twisty-tie to put them all together! (I should have charged *them* for the twisty-tie!!

Comment: Having read all the negative reviews about Enterprise, I was pleasantly surprised to have a completely opposite experience with the agency. Arriving at LAX on a Sunday afternoon, I was expecting to wait 30 minutes or more for a shuttle; however, the shuttle picked us up five minutes after collecting our luggage from the baggage claim. After we arrived at the Enterprise location we were greeted warmly and after being helped immediately by a friendly agent, we were on our way outside to pick up our vehicle. We had rented a minivan for our trip and it was delivered exactly as expected. No upsells on extra insurance or other miscellaneous charges! The best part, however, was the return process. It took less than five minutes to check the van back in and the agent drove us personally to the airport in the same van since our luggage was already in the vehicle! The charges on the receipt were exactly the same charges we were quoted. What a refreshing and stellar way to experience a vacation. I highly recommend using the Enterprise location at LAX.

The issue I had with Enterprise is the non full disclosures such as there will be a required security deposit upon pick up which is understandable but when I reserved the rental prior to my trip and confirmed it verbally it should have been advised and or estimated in the price quoted. Even so when arrived the cashier gave me a total and luckily I checked my bank account after leaving to find the amount to be greater than what she told me and had to call to find out why and only then was I advised it was a deposit. My deposit was swiftly refund upon returning vehicle, but the company should realize most people renting cars are on trips and could need to budget their expenses and to have extra curve balls thrown at them could ruin their trip or plans. So my feedback is to fully disclose all possible fees and extra charge option while customer is booking.

Comment: I have used this location many times. I took an upgrade to a small SUV - Jeep Compass - not a great car with few features but for $10 a day it was worth it me. Except they billed me for $12 a day and for the extra insurance I did not want. When picking up or dropping off a car one is so rushed sometimes the details get skipped.I called Customer service the next day and they credited everything but this should not have happened in the first place.I like Enterprise overall and I will continue to use them.

A bunch of employees stood there and watched my family waiting for a minivan while one guy walked the lot with my son only to come back and say that they didnt have any, but they would wash one of the returns and get right to us! The lot was full of cars so we finally suggested to them that we were fine as long as we had 7 seats so 1 hour later we left with a gas guzzler and a free tank of gas. At one point, I heard the manager reprimand an employee for not introducing herself...not sure why it matters to use a name if you cant turn out your Enterprise members in under an hour?

Comment: Pick up and drop off service was very quick, easy and friendly. Shuttle buses to and from the Airport came on a steady basis, and we didnt have to wait around very long. The vehicle couldve been cleaned a lot better. Floors were vacuumed, but the touch screen was full of smudges\fingerprints, door panels had dirt scuffs, and one wipe of the steering wheel with a cleaning wipe came back dark brown. If youre going to rent from here make sure to do your own wipe down of everything you plan on touching.

Comment: My worst rental experience ever. Heres some of their issues:1. Insufficient number of shuttle buses from the airport. While all the other brands had mutiple shuttles come by terminal 7, only 2 of Enterprise buses came by in the 30 minutes I waited, and the first was too full to take additional passengers.2. Insufficient people working the desk at the car lot. The line of renters was out the door - probably 30-40 people. I saw the self check-in kiosks, so I tried to go there.3. Self check in kiosks were out of order and wouldnt allow me to check-in anyway. I waited in a shorter line for the kiosks, a couple of which were out of order. SInce I was dropping the car off in another location, when I tried to check in, the kiosk wouldnt allow me. So back into the long line for the desk!4. Different check in people telling different stories. We all could overhear what looked like a manager offering everyone a 10% discount due to the long wait. I was shuttled over to another desk after another 30 minute wait to another clerk. I asked her about the 10% discount, but she knew nothing about it. No apology for the extremely long wait or broken kiosks that dont work.5. Picking out a car they try to force you into insurance. Stay alert renters! When I got to the front of the next line in which you get a clipboard-toting associate who takes you to your car, I was shown a couple of really small cars. I said thats all you have? She said I could have the white or silver one. She asked if I wanted basic or full insurance. She didnt ask if I wanted to decline all extra insurance as I normally do since I have coverage already. I assumed basic meant no insurance. It doesnt. You have to say No insurance or you will be charged.6. I paid for an intermediate but the car was a compact. Not until I checked in at Encinitas did I learn that I was actually given a smaller car than I paid for. The one star goes to the Encinitas team which was really good, and refunded my one-way rental fee. Those guys should go up to run the LAX branch which should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS until they have a major change in customer service approach.

Comment: I use to enjoy renting cars from Enterprise. But my last experience is making me think of taking my business elsewhere. I do not like when you raise the price of your rentals for the different times of the year. I think your prices should be the same all the across the country, all the time. I paid nearly $100 for the rental of a Nissan Sentra for one day. And it seems the person that rented the car prior to me paid just about $40 more than I did, but had the car for 3 days. Something seems wrong with that to me. Also, I was almost changed $200 extra because of some BS! hold you put on certain people when they use credit cards. It was not taken off properly upon my checking on my return. If I had not looked at my ending receipt carefully, I would not have found it and been wrongfully charged. This was not a good experience. The sad thing is, Ive mostly had good experiences renting cars from you. But, it only takes one bad experience to begin to change ones mind . I truly hope this is taken seriously because Im sure there are others with similar experiences.

The car did not have a spare, and the only number I could call was a phone service that called AAA .My daughter and myself sat in the car for 2 hours .... ugh then the tow truck came but no other car to take us to the airport. Comment: I was disappointed in the service I received from the woman that was picked to show me my car options. She gave me two choices for a car, wasnt very friendly or helpful. She didnt explain any features about the car I chose and I ended up having it for half a day and returned it for a different car. The auto stop feature in the Chevy Cruise was never talked about and I thought the car was stalling every time I put my foot on the brake. This is a key feature of the car and should have been told to us before we left the lot. I have used Enterprise before but at the Bradley Airport Location. There they went through the cars features before I left the lot and asked if I needed anything explained again before I left. It just shows how customer service is not the same all across the country. This is something that needs to be worked on as it really determines if I will keep using Enterprise for future rentals.

Comment: Car was clean and in good condition. No problems there.The economy Ford is way underpowered and bit scary on the freeways. Not their fault, just wont get the Ford again. Check in service was easy and fast, no problems there. Return service was horrible! After renting from the LAX location, I could not get a courtesy shuttle back to my hotel! 1.2miles! (according to google) It was 2 minutes outside their delivery area (12 min) and on the wrong street! Collusion much? At 930 at night, returning a car, not during peak hours, and they could not go 2 minutes outside of their zone to an airport hotel. I watched as 1 passenger got in the minivan shuttle, but 2 minutes would cause a delay? For who? Only in LA! I had to catch the airport shuttle back to the airport and wait for the hotel shuttle. 45 minutes later I got to the hotel. Last time Sixt took me to same hotel no questions asked.

Now I will say only minus to it all is this is a fast paced place they try to get you in and out FAST. Id expect the employees to listen to my needs instead of insisting on what they think is best because Im actually the one paying for the car. Also Ive ran into a few people not in person but when Ive actually called the actual location and theyve been a bit rude. Next time Ill be taking names so I can file a complaint. Comment: This review isnt about the vehicle I rented. Its about the customer service at the LAX location. My flight arrived two hours late but they still had the car that I reserved(Cadillac xts). I used the kiosk then went into the lot where I was greeted by a worker who was polite,friendly and efficient. She started the car for me and I was on my way. The return of the vehicle was easy and took less than 60 seconds. Pull up,get the receipt and get on the shuttle. When my wife and I get on line at the airport she realized she left her backpack on the shuttle bus. She called enterprise but the driver Jose saw the backpack after he dropped off his last passenger and came back to our terminal because he remembered my wife had the backpack. He was outside as soon as my wife went outside. Id recommend this location not for the good price or large selection of vehicles but the outstanding customer service especially Jose. Because of him we were able to check our luggage,pass through security and make our flight with time to spare. Thanks enterprise and much thanks to Jose.

The only thing I dont like is the air freshener which was strawberry or cherry and not pleasant in my opinion. I have ceased to use Enterprise in Phoenix due to the smell of the air freshener and have gone back to AVIS instead, it is more expensive but they dont use air freshener in their vehicles during cleaning.

They then told me I could rent another car but not an exotic car. But then they charged me the same amount as the exotic car? Not happy with enterprise. Comment: The reason for my single star review, is that I left a expensive pair of sunglasses in the car when I dropped it off. I realized my mistake and as soon as I landed I called the Rental Shop (less than 4 hrs later). The customer service agent refused to check for the sunglasses even though I could describe them, where I left them in the car, and the car I rented. They stated that they had to send an email to the Lost and Found department. I called again 4 hours later and second agent told me the same thing. Finally the lost and found department contacts me 2 days later and told me no one turned in the sunglasses. They also told me that they did not check the car. At this point the car has been rented out again. So if it had been something important like a wallet, your just out of luck. I will never rent from Enterprise again, they tote customer service but its just lip service. If you have a issue, expect to pay the price.

The previous week they didnt have my reserved car, only one small silver Toyota so I was offer d an upgrade and told it would be about $10 extra...as a valued loyal Enterprise customer I would have expected to be given an available car at no extra (considering mine was not available)....I later realized Imwss charged $10.99 A DAY....Anyway.. back to June 9, my birthday...where friends had gathered for a birthday get together for me!I took the shuttle from LAX with all my luggage in tow....catching a flight the next day to Europe...and headed to th self check in kiosk. Like a do EVERY WEEK pretty much!I wasnt able to check in there so I approached the counter and was told I was on the do not rent list. What.???It turns out my last rental...added charges and an extra day I owed $66.11 THREE days prior had uncollected. Barges and I was placed In some no rent status??? Are you kidding me?? No call. No email. No notice that my reservation wouldnt be honored!!! I was stranded, with three luggages AT MIDNIGHT IN INGLEWOOD. For no reason!! A single girl left without transportation or any help!!!The manager was a total sloppy jerk and I told him he would hear from me. The division to call and fix the problem (YOUR problem) was closed. I offered to pay whatever and he refused to override and help me. Funny thing is the rental was to be comped because of my loyalty. Where was Enterprisesmloyalty???I had to take Uber ($30Nd Uber the next day back to the airport another $30). Missed my birthday celebration and all the things I needed to do the next day!!Shame on Enterprise and the manager on duty Friday night June 9, 2017!! Ill find his name...Review?? Comment: This is the second time this year that Ive done business with the LAX Enterprise. This time was great, kind, friendly, courteous, above and beyond, which is the normal expectation for Enterprise. This time, though, our car was pretty dirty. I overlooked a few small things, but by the time we reached our first destination as a tourist, we saw a LOT more dirt and grime around the car. So I called and asked if we could trade out vehicles. Of course, this was not a problem. When we got there, we were greeted by a woman (so sorry I didnt get her name) who was profusely apologetic about the car. She walked with us to the next car and checked it out with us. When I found a ripped baggage tag in the trunk, she jumped on the radio and called for the manager. She asked if we wouldnt mind waiting 10-15 minutes while they wash the car again, this time to her and my satisfaction. So we sat down in the lobby and waited. Twice in 12 minutes, she came to check on us and asked if we needed anything. When it was ready, she drove the car around personally and asked me to try and find ANYTHING that was wrong with it.I must say, considering how some other car rental companies treat their people, this is the reason that I use Enterprise over and over again. Comment: Enterprise at LAX has gone downhill. I fly to LAX on business > 12 times per year and I have been renting with Enterprise for the last few years. Unfortunately, the level of service as well as the quality of the vehicles being clean is noticeable. The employees do not seem to really care about customer service or take pride in what they do. From dirty vehicles to defective equipment. I understand things happen but what is more important is how they are handled. Thats where Enterprise at LAX has done a poor job. Most of the people there are young and stand around talking with each other. Another example is Enterprise has offered bottles of water to their guests but no longer. I will most likely go back to Hertz the next time I am LA.

Comment: When i rented the car from Enterprise at Madrid Airport, the car didnt have a GPS. So I had to rent a GPS, once I left the airport, the GPS didnt get a signal. My wife and I drove around Madrid for 4 hrs. On the day we had to departure May 24th, we travel from Puerto de Sagatuno, to Madrid airport. Again the GPs didnt work, so we drove around Madrid airport for a hr. looking T-4. Our fight was leaving at 12:45 P.M., we finally arrived at Enterprise at 11:30 A.M. We told the lady that are flight was leaving at 12:45 P.M. So she told us how to get to T-4, again the GPS didnt work. WE got lost again and finally got back to Enterprise, this time there was another lady that assetted us. She told us that we wouldnt miss our flight, so she drove us to T-4. There she went with us to check in, when we got there it was 11:50 A.M. The lady at Iberia told us that the door was closed, and didnt have time to check in the baggage. So I said what do we do, she replyed you need to buy new tickets. So we blame Enterprise for missing are flight, and buying new tickets. Louie

Comment: I live in Atlanta, GA and I am the Associate Pastor of a church which has connections and sister churches all over the U.S. Therefore, I am constantly on the move and Los Angeles is one of my prime destinations as I make my way there at least once a year if not twice sometimes.I have always had a Fantastic experience with Enterprise. I do not recall a time on which I was disappointed by the customer service or the vehicle etc. I do however remember a couple of times when the car given me had an issue, one time cause of bakes and the second time, my most recent experience, cause of a tire with a big gash in it. I was not disappointed even in that because I understand that stuff happens. But I was especially floored when I returned the car in question in order to attain another one and all went smoothly. I was never given a hard time or even questioned. The customer service is always IMPECCABLE!! The spirit is always JOYOUS and the flow of things is always CONSISTENT.In close, all I can say is that as long as I keep traveling the way I do, enterprise will remain my number one destination as far as renting cars.

Im with the state government and travel a few times a year and thus use Enterprise exclusively.This is the only time Ive encountered any negative issues with Enterprise. One this particular rental, a Nissan Versa, the interior was filthy. It appears that the previous renter of this vehicle, most likely a slob state employee, opened a soda can an sprayed it against the dashboard. There was a sticky spot on the dashboard where he/she placed an open container and food and drink residue almost everywhere around the drivers seat.I was in a hurry and did not ask for another vehicle, but should have. It started when I lost the keys to the rental car. Customer Service had the car towed to Toyota dealership to have a new key made. I left all my paper work for the rental in the car. I didnt know where the car was towed to. I got a call from the dealership wanting permission to make a key and if I had the VIN number. I felt I couldnt give permission for the key and the VIN was with my paper work in the car. Another call to customer service which I was advised to call the office, 8734 BELLANCA AVE that I got the car from. I called the office and the man didnt know VIN or where the car was towed to. I was told to call back to customer service regarding lost key and car. The next day the key showed up at Disneyland Lost and Found. Called Customer Service they tried to sent me to Orange County Airport after reexplaining I finally got the location of the car and that I can pick it up.My main frustration came when I call the LAX office and the person I talked to had no clue about the car or gave me any help what to do next except to call Customer Service which is in St. Louis, I guess.Other then that service was very good with check out and check in.

I showed them return flight information drivers license with a copy of my insurance to prove that I was in town just for the weekend. During her vacation we needed to rent an extra car to get my husband to the airport earlier than we expected, Enterprise was there(!) charging us less than what we expected, (having to drop off the car at another Airport.) I wish I could remember all the names of the people that helped us out from the gentleman at LAX that helped us get our vehicle when our airplane was late and it was past midnight his attitude did not falter, what a trooper. When I returned the vehicle to enterprise, they walk up to me after leaving the vicinity to board my shuttle tell me that the bumper is damaged and that I had to fill out an incident report when the damage was my first time seeing it when it was brought to my attention. Get a letter in the mail a week later holding me responsible for the damages and I have yet to speak with anyone about this matter. It took less than 5 mins to walk through the door and get into the car, the customer service reps were friendly, helpful and efficient. The bus ride to the car site,and returning to LAX after the trip was not as efficient and could use some improvement. The drivers were great, but they need more buses running, the buses were packed, and in one case a customer was told there was no more room on the bus and it took a few minutes for the driver to appease her, in front of a bus load of tired travelers.

When I travel I always rent from Enterprise.I flew in on 04/21/2017 the day after mariqunna day. That beautiful car was reaking with the strong oder of mariqunna. I had to keep the windows down and purchase some fresher.I had to spray the car for entire time I had the car. I was placed in a precuior position. Comment: I waited an hour to pick up my car. The service agent didnt know which car Id reserved, nor which cars Enterprise offered in my chosen category. After I showed them what cars they were supposed to have, they then found they didnt have a car on site in that category. The manager had to go over to the service department to see if they had a car available. Luckily they did - Im not sure what they would have done, otherwise.When they eventually pulled a car out of service for me, it was extremely dirty. I waited another 20 minutes whilst they cleaned it. It was still very scratched for a luxury sports car.This honestly was not the kind of service I expected, considering this is the premium portion of Enterprises operation.The manager and agents were friendly and helpful, but the preparation and delivery were severely lacking.The car was fun and reasonably priced, but the initial issues definitely tainted the experience. I ended up missing my morning appointment.IF you decide to use this service, dont expect the pick up to be as quick and easy as the regular rental car offerings. Particularly if its a sports car, rather than a luxury car.

Comment: Everything was fine except one issue. The gasoline was not a full tank and I was asked to return the car with the same level of gasoline. That was impossible to control especially when you have to return it to the airport you were not familiar with. I returned with full tank of gasoline and no refund to me for the extra gasoline I fill in the tank. Why you can not fill up the tank before you handle to the customers since there is a gas station inside your rental facility? I believe you already charged the person who did not retune with full tank but you do not refund the person who return with more than you gave.

I returned the car to another branch while in Cali. 4 days later the original office called to see when I was going to return the car and I was already back in the ATL. Truly the case of the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing. After almost a week, they cleared the matter up and charged me correctly for the rental.

Comment: My wife and I spent a week in Southern California. Two months prior I made the reservation and noticed that we could get a Cadillac that was in our budget, so we went for it. When we got to the car lot, Alicia told me about the other vehicles in that range, but knew I was ready to drive that Cadillac away. It so happened that as we got close to the car, someone had already picked it and was driving it away.Being the only Cadillac on the lot, Alicia was nice enough to put us one level up for the same price. We picked the Infinity Q50, and it was a great choice - comfortable, powerful, and when in Economy mode actually got over 30 MPG on the highway.Returning the vehicle was fast and very efficient. Will definitely choose Enterprise again this winter when we come back.

Comment: My experience at the LAX location was terrible. I rented a car, the rep did not record the body damage and gas level before renting the car to me. When I returned the vehicle I had to fill out a body damaged report and they charged me for gas. I was able to get the gas removed but I almost missed my flight because of these issues. The return rep was very rude and walked away from me numerous times.

Comment: Car showed low tire indicator just 30 minutes from Rental location. Called Enterprise and they routed me to another Enterprise in Pomona, CA. The Pomona location had me wait almost 3 hours for tire to be fixed rather than issue me another vehicle. Vehicles were on the lot and personnel told me that I might get one of those. Kept telling me it would only be 10-15 more minutes for fix, this went on for hours and hours. Felt that the Pomona CA location provided poor customer service and were more concerned about their bottom line than the customers experience.

Comment: Cars are fairly expensive to rent at LAX so I did a more research than it was worth prior to selecting a Hyundai Elantra from Enterprise. My wife and I were flying in from Santiago, Chile - 11-hour flight - and were eager to get home in San Diego. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a shuttle bus but there was no line at the Enterprise counter at 6:30am. Within seconds of arriving, we were out on the lot, looking for a car. The attendant helping us said there were no Elantras available and offered us a Hyundai Accent instead. Too exhausted from the long flight, I didnt argue but I should have. My wife and I had a long drive ahead of us, we were very tired and the larger car would have been significantly more comfortable. If I rent from Enterprise again, Im going to demand an upgrade that I had previously paid for.

Comment: Everything was perfect until I returned my car. I was rushed out as one of the reps started pulling things out of the car while I was still trying to gather my son and myself after our long drive. I ended up being shuffled down stairs to a location where Uber was unable to find me. Then I had to call and wait for the people we were visiting to come get us, who had to drive around for a while to find us. Somehow my $130 straightener never made it with the rest of my things that the rep pulled out of the trunk. He should have left me to get my own things. I filed a missing item claim but of course they just tell me they cannot find it and did nothing for me. I was really happy with the process until I had to deal with the San Francisco location to drop off the car, lost a rather pricy item, left on the side of the road with a small child in an unfamiliar area with no help in directing anyone to our location and a company not willing to help recover or replace an item that their pushy rep caused me to leave without.

I was given different information from everyone I spoke with regarding my missing items and no one had any sense of urgency to get back to me regarding my issue. I had to escalate it to a regional manager. The customer service was extremely poor. Worst experience ever with Enterprise. Comment: Everyone I dealt with at this Enterprise was very nice and helpful, and the process of checking in and receiving my car was relatively quick. Remember to ask about tolls—I didnt ask and wasnt told anything, and it wasnt until I was on the area highways and seeing toll roads that I realized I didnt know if there was a gadget in the car that was like EZ Pass for tolls or not. Otherwise, the one not insignificant issue that I had was that I was given a car with no windshield washer fluid at all! When I first tried to use it on the highway up to San Francisco—when I really needed it because of all the bugs splatting on my windshield in the Central Valley—all I got was a little dribble of washer liquid from each. Definitely a major inconvenience, and under different conditions, could have been a safety issue! (I reported it to the 1800 number for Enterprise and didnt get much concern about it from them or any sense that there was an apology for it.) But otherwise, it was a fast and easy process with Enterprise and the car was great.

Comment: My husband and I rented a Jeep Compass from Enterprise at LAX to use while we were visiting family in the L.A. area. During that time, the Jeep began having some problems with its transmission. We took the Jeep to the nearby Ontario, California Airports Enterprise Rental site to ask that they switch it out for another car. They supplied us with a newer model of the Jeep Compass right away, and we were on our way within 15 minutes! We have previously used Enterprise and each time we have been impressed by their professionalism and attention to customer service. We highly recommend Enterprise Car Rental!

Comment: Got the car at LAX. Good car for the money. Very helpful staff. Using the kiosk was frustrating and a bit slow but there was an attendant there to help me. Then I had to show my kiosk printout to ANOTHER live attendant AND be escorted to my car. AND then I was asked about fuel prepayment/insurance etc. AND then I had to show my ID on the way out to yet another attendant AND then I was asked additional questions -- it all was a bit much. Seems to me that there were no efficiency achieved by the kiosk system they had in place. It still took quite some time for me to get to my car and get out the lot.

Comment: I would give 0 stars but I couldnt post with 0 stars, thats how bad it was. I rented an SUV with Enterprise over this past vacation for Presidents day school holiday. I was given a car in LA airport. The size requested was a no smoking SUV. It was raining when I arrived and when I went out to receive our car, the attendant gave us a Jeep Grand Cherokee. As I drove away, it seemed a little smelly, but with all the gas fumes under the covered area of other cars, I couldnt tell. We had a 2 hour drive to Claremont, CA but after 10 minutes, I felt progressively more soggy. The chair was very damp and it was completely uncomfortable for the next half hour. I put a sweater between myself and the seat which helped a great deal, but my sweater ended up smelling after the car ride. After getting in and out of the car several time over the next few hours, my family and I realized that the car was very stinky with smoke smell.(even though there were stickers on dashboard that said no smoking. It smelled worse every time we got in the car. I called and complained and they told me on the phone that they can definitley switch out my car at my nearby Enterprise which happened to be Ontario, CA. Once I got there, they said they had no cars in my category but could go down a level to a sedan, which was unacceptable to me, or they could give us a minivan, which was of no interest to me. I looked around the parking lot, and there was indeed a car in our category but the manager refused to give that car to me because it was reserved for a customer. Then they said if a car gets returned while I am there I would have the option to wait for the car to get cleaned and then I could have that one. Two Jeeps came in and both times, the manager said, no I couldnt have those because they were reserved for their customers. At no time did she treat ME LIKE A CUSTOMER. I was given a stinky car and options that I did not like and I was an ENTERPRISE CUSTOMER but she kept referring to me as Los Angeles customer. In the end, I was given a minivan, but I was not happy because it was NOT the class of car I paid for or wanted, and was not treated like a customer. Also, the first 24 hours with the stinky soggy car was miserable.

Comment: We recently rented a regular, full-size car from Enterprise at Los Angeles International airport for 5 weeks. As we expected, this was good experience: The rental process was smooth and fast, and the car was fine and worked without problems. After returning the car, we took the Enterprise shuttle to the United terminal. Immediately after arriving at the terminal, my wife discovered that she had forgotten her backpack in the shuttle. Even though the time before our scheduled departure was short, the Enterprise office and shuttle staff did miracles and managed to find and return the backpack to us in time. We are very grateful to the Enterprise staff for having gone out of their way to help us. Enterprise will clearly be our preferred rental agency from now on.

Comment: Im usually a big fan of Enterprise, but my last experience was a tad annoying.First, I wish they were a bit more transparent about the pricing in the office. I had a reservation and a quote, and when I went to pick up the vehicle they confirmed the price I was given on the web site, but once I had chosen my ride and went to sign off on it I noticed that it was over a hundred dollars more than I was quoted. This was of course because of the insurance that I chose at the moment, but it would have been easier to take if they had just come out and said your car will be this much plus insurance instead of hiding the fact that there was another charge involved.Second, they gave me a key. Not a remote, but a regular key. I didnt think much of it at the time, but as soon as I got out, locked up, and then later unlocked and got back in, the alarm went off. Normally when you want to get into your car you have a remote that lets you turn off the alarm and unlock the doors. I didnt have that luxury. I only had a key and I had no idea how to turn off an alarm. I called the Enterprise office and they had no idea how to turn it off, so they connected me with the roadside assistance line, and they had no idea either. Luckily the guy I was talking to was bright enough to be able to look it up fairly quickly and we got things squared away, but not until I had set the thing off several times. Lucky for me that car alarms are as useless as they are, and no one came wondering why I was apparently breaking into a vehicle in a parking lot.Ill probably be willing to rent from Enterprise again, but they wont necessarily be my first choice anymore.

Comment: I had reserved a compact SUV (and the website promised four wheel drive) because I was heading to Joshua Tree National Park and needed 4WD for dirt roads, but a vehicle small enough to maneuver through campsites and mountain roads. I was expecting a small Jeep, a Subaru, or similar. When I arrived, Enterprise said that they were cleaned out and had no 4WD vehicles left, save a truly massive pickup truck. I tried to drive the truck, and it didnt even fit in the parking spot at my hotel, so I brought it back because driving it through the park would be completely untenable. I ended up in a compact car, and had to change my hiking plans because I couldnt drive with 2WD on some of the access roads at JTNP. Plus, I was charged for the compact SUV, even though I only ended up with a compact car.It seems insane that I paid for and reserved a specific type of vehicle weeks in advance, and there wasnt one on the lot when I got there. The staff was sympathetic, but I still had to change my plans, and the whole episode was very frustrating.

Comment: I was very satisfied with Enterprise in L.A. The service was very fast, great customer service as well. I made a reservation to pick the car up when my flight landed, a shuttle picked me up and took me straight there. i checked in at the front desk and it was under 5 min. The guy met me, led me to the car and gave me keys and the run down about the car than i was off. I enjoyed the car for the few days I had it, I ended up driving it back to Vegas and returning it there, which was fast and easy to drop off. I definently will rent from them again. Comment: The cars are nice and the prices are fine. It just takes way too long to get your car. You need to visit a kiosk to print out a contract, wait in a line until an associate can show you a car, have discussions about the car with the associate, sign more stuff on a tablet device and then you can leave.I like the model where I just walk down the isle and pick the car I want, or my car is posted on a board and I get in it and go showing my ID as I drive off the lot. I wouldnt rent from Enterprise except the client Im working for has a contract with them. People are friendly however and it does provide jobs for people to walk you to your car but the trade off is that it takes longer to get your car and get going..

Comment: Arrived at car enterprise and went through all the paper work then went out to the lot to get the luxury car we reserved ahead of time. When looking around for the luxury car there were none. The staff wanted to put us in a car we had at home, that wasnt working for us, we had our mind set on a luxury car to drive around in and enjoy while on vacation. The staff was not accommodating at all until we starting demanding they fix the problem. Maybe they need to put something in writing saying they dont guarantee cars when you arrive. If it hadnt been so late when we arrived after traveling for many many hours we would have went elsewhere. We did end up settle for an SUV, not to my liking. And that was a mistake because the parking in Los Angeles is so limited and the parking garages are only 66, we could park in them. NEVER again would I rent from enterprise... terrible service and never said sorry or never tried to give us a slight discount.
