The absolute best place to get film developed! They can have your photos back to you in one hour which is awesome!! They do an amazing job with prints and scans. Pricing is great and the people there are so nice. Highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic service and quality. I mailed my film all the way in from Washington, and they had it developed the day they after they got it. The scan quality is incredible, and at a price that I was literally unable to beat anywhere else. I’ll be sending them all my film from now on. A+++
Awesome place! I usually drop off rolls to digitize on my lunch break around 11am, always done before 3pm. Great customer service too. Hope they stick around for a long time!
Amazing service! Prices were awesome! I stopped in to get a disposable camera developed (not knowingly it was just after they closed) and they helped me with no questions asked - even with a friendly welcome! They developed my film in just about an hour and sent the photos directly to my google drive. So convenient! Will absolutely go to them for all my film needs.
I will NEVER go any place else for prints again!!This small business is AMAZING!!They took my camera photos and turned them into some AWESOME SENIOR PICS!!I was skeptical at first but they blew me away. They are great quality, affordable and super quick. I got my pics in 1 day.
They got everything here!They got all sorts of films to chose from. They even have Disposable Cameras and the instant film used in Polaroids. They also have a ton of Picture Frames to choose from. They will develop Film that has the C-41 Colour Processing, and the prices are pretty good only $68 for Six 35MMs & One 110 Cartridge compared to the $100 for Three 35MMs at CVS. You can also bring a Flash Pen Drive and they will make digital copies for you.
My go-to place to develop film in southeast Michigan. I’ve been going here for years and they’ve never disappointed. The staff is always pleasant and the prices are affordable. They process quickly and can scan quickly as well.
Best place in the metro Detroit area for developing film. The prices are fair, quality is great, and service is friendly and super prompt. They will send your developed pics to you in pretty much any imaginable format and have never taken more than a couple hours.

Truthfully a gem of a business that I’m hoping to see grow further. The only place locally to get fil processed and scanned FAST. Always has a good selection of film in stock as well as developing equipment and accessories.
I feel like I just discovered a hidden gem. They processed my film super quick and the quality was better than I expected. They have staff in my age group (~20s) which is good to see in a photo lab that does film processing. I will be using this business more as shopping local is always better, and the quality they delivered is a great advantage as well.
I went from Ann Arbor to this place to develop one roll of film (120 mm black and white). The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and they gave me the roll after just one hour!There is nothing like that close to Ann Arbor. If you need to develop film, go there!
I went to Express Photo to get two family photos restored. The people at Express Photo were very professional and very good at what they do. The photos had a defect where orange dots had appeared all over them and they were able to remove them in Photoshop.The final prints look fabulous and I will be returning with more photos in the future.
Had film developed from disposable cameras from my wedding here - they finished in an hour! Other places told me 3-4 weeks!

I ordered two prints 18 x 12. The price was very reasonable. The quality was excellent. They were ready later the same day. The staff were friendly and helpful. A 5 star experience.
Store counters and baskets are wiped down/sanitized. Each time entering store, they greet you and they uplift each other. Very positive atmospher
Great shop with attentive service. Lynn helped me grabbed some film and even cleaning the focusing screen on my Hasselblad with the utmost attention to detail. Ill be back anytime Im in town with a camera (every time).
Highly recommend this place for film photographers. The price is cheaper than a lot of other developing labs and I’ve recieved my developed negatives within 2 hours. Very good service.
The absolute best place to go in Michigan for film developing! They’re friendly, helpful, and extremely fast with the best pricing around to buy and develop film.
Fraud and bad serviceI went there to scan two documents which consist of approximately 6 pages each. I told that guy to scan all pages. The guy over there scanned only one front page of both documents and hand over my flash drive and charged be 4.74 dollars for that. Thats awful. I will never visit them again.
Outstanding customer service and very cozy inside. Makes you feel at home and a very friendly welcome upon entering. My needs are taken care of promptly and with great quality. These little places need much more attention!
People were nice , made photos for a memorial service while I waited . Cost was reasonable. Also located in the same building a movie and video transfer service. Converting the aforementioned to DVDs.
They lost my film when I got them developed. Acted like it wasn’t their fault and they gave up looking for.

Little Story. Ive been looking for a DVD release of this specific cartoon for an old friend, I found it 4 months later on Amazon.co.uk. I had no idea how I was going to convert it from PAL to NTSC. I friend of mine said visit Express Camera theres a video store in the back. I spoke to Eric that week and got the video converted to DVD. It was a one day turn around. To be honest, the video file was a little bad, but that could have also been from the almost 14 year old tape and the conversion. So, if youre looking for a quick conversion for something visit Eric at Express Photo, hes the guy in the back. You cant miss the A/V room in the corner.

2022-07-21Wow. So awesome that you can still get 1hr processing AND with great quality! I also really appreciate that they have a different rate for developing 24/36 exposures. Same quality I get from my usual lab without the 7 day wait. Very happy with the scans I got and will definitely be dropping off more film with them.

2020-08-175 stars is not enough! I dont live in Livonia but I always mail in my film to be developed at Express Photo. I simply do not trust anyone else to do it! Ive gotten rolls from a few disposable cameras developed there, and the quality is amazing. I always get compliments on the film and the quality of the scans. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly -- I recently lost some film and they were able to recover it in their archives. I also mailed in a black and white roll of film not realizing they didnt have the technology to develop it, but they referred me to a local photographer who was able to do it ! I dont review things very often but Express Photo totally deserves it!

2019-12-05Super great service, experienced crew that accommodates to the needs of both the photographer and image restorers. Amateur or pro alike they are willing to work with both. This making the whole experience a absolute breeze. Still has the traditional 1hr photo and they also ship back your film if mail it in from a remote location. Express photo processes 35mm and 120 C41 films only and can also can scan the film. After Im able to buy another roll from the growing film stock they have. Black and white film processing is unable to be done. If you have older processed film or old pictures, the express photo team is able to restore the image and have a film to video transfer service inside for those old home movies. If your a student looking for a affordable place to take colur film or Ilford Xp2 in for processing and your in the area or like me driving from Saline MI to Livonia, it is definitely worth the drive. If by some means have found a old roll of film or movie or just wanted to take some film pictures than you stop by the friendly and family owned business for your photography needs. The attached photos of the Cadillac Allante, my drive there and the summers NASCAR Cup Series were all photographed on Kodak ultramax 400, Kodak Gold 200 and Kodak Pro-image 100 just to show some examples.

2018-12-22Great place to get photos printed quick. They also do video and picture transfers. They sell a lot of different photo frames and albums to choose from. They are very friendly and helpful. They have self service kiosks so that you can transfer pictures from your phone or memory cards or USB drives. I am really glad I was able to find them through the help of being referred to them.

2022-01-26After striking out at a few places, Express photo helped us create a beautiful portrait the same day. They even did a little touching up and put it on poster board. We needed this for a funeral so this type of service is priceless. I would give 6 stars if I could

2022-01-07Easy to get film developed here, when I went they let you get it on digital, prints, and would even give you back the negatives. Friendly staff! Not many places left that process film without sending it in and waiting weeks to get your stuff back. Very convenient!

2022-01-05Scans here are amazing. they are uploaded to google drive (or dropbox) within a few hours (i even dropped my film late one day expecting them to get to it the next day, but instead they uploaded it even after the store had closed !!) the quality is so much better than other places that my family thought i started using higher quality film

2021-11-04Just tried ordering prints online with delivery. Never asked me for debit/credit/payment, but said my prints would be delivered standard yet also stated I had to pay in store. Was wondering why it wanted to know method of payment for in-store pick up only...isnt that kind of backwards?? The only reason I wanted them delivered, is they close at 5:00 every week day, and I would never be able to get there in time to pick up. Update: Had a great resolution to my issue. Company was wonderful in contacting me ASAP and providing great service!
