Comment: Everything was great the first 2 months, shortly after I get a notice that there will be an Increase to my storage unit price, no reason as to why. I get that there are Increases but 2 months in and a 100% Increase in price. My monthly more than doubled!!!! This is not ok, especially when people have to pack everything in these storage units only to have to potentially leave due to incredibly high prices. Renters beware of this. I have never experienced anything as crazy as this.

It is now $142 more than it was when I got it less than a year ago. The unit is definitely not worth over $300, we will be finding a new place for storage.

Comment: This place is fantastic! The best customer service Ive ever gotten. Ive worked with Mary (and Galen) for many years and they are always very helpful very patient. Just yesterday, I was moving my stuff to a new unit. And on a Sunday, Marys day off, we had a problem with the size of our unit, which was my fault ...I got a unit too small. Mary came in on her day off, drove us around to show us different units, and got us set up with a larger unit. All on her day off. Fantastic lady! And very patient. Youd never know by the way she was with us, that this was her day off. She took all the time in the world to help us find what we needed. This day could have been a bust, and could have been a nightmare, and Mary just fixed it so easily and flawless for us that it turned out to be wonderful day. If you need a storage space, this is the only place you want to come to. These people are wonderful! 🙂

They offered a variety of sizes and price points so I was able to find just the right unit to fit my needs and I was able to move into my unit that very weekend! Everyone in the office was friendly, respectful, and helpful which made the whole process extremely easy for me and gave me peace of mind. Accessing my unit on a regular basis was very easy and secure as it is gated but I could access my unit whenever I wanted with my gate code. I also valued that every time I accessed my unit, I always found the entire place to be clean and safe. I’ve had many storage units over the years in multiple locations, and NOTHING compares to this place or its staff. Actually what makes this place stand out from all the others, is the staff and the way the manager Mary runs the place. Not only is the place immaculate, clean as a whistle but it’s safe as can be! I feel confidant that my property is protected, not only from people but from rodents as well. I could go on and on about how clean and safe the place is but the real value is in the staff, Mary and Galen. Not only do they look out for your best interest but go above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about this place, but it all has to do with the staff, Mary and Galen. If they ended up going to another storage facility I would move my entire storage unit just to follow them because that’s how much I believe in them, so that should tell you something. :-)If I have a problem and I communicate my issues to Mary, she takes the time to listen and figures out a way to help solve my problem. Extra Space Storage over by Tracy High School blew my expectations out of the water and then some. The facilities are clean and orderly, there isnt even a spot on the floor in the 10x10 unit were renting out. Beth, the Manager, is one of the sweetest women I think Ive ever met, and was genuinely interested in making sure we got a unit that worked best for us both space-wise and price-wise. Honestly, I couldnt have asked for a better experience, and Im no longer nervous about needing to store our belongings at all. He advised me on how to go about getting good rates by reserving online, which saved me some money! I also met the onsite manager, Mary, who felt like an Auntie I had known all my life. I made the reservation on Monday and got a call a few hours later from Galen to come in and do the documents. I decided to come a day earlier than scheduled, and Mary greeted me with a smile making no issue of me coming in a bit early. She walked me through the documents like a cakewalk answering my every little question, it was super easy and quick, and I am walking away confident my stuff is safe! They obviously use bot reviews.Only one from a long list of questionable and shady business practices. Theyll triple your rate. They can change, without any notice any policies that bind you but give them freedom to take advantage. Before you move in, read this lengthy corporate contract that strips you of any rights...way to implement customer service . This place has rodent and roach infestations and how so much dirt accumulates is a mystery; coming in from under door and over head open blowing in so much dust...what a surprise after paying to store fine furniture and family heirlooms for years that the deterioration so extreme I would have had better luck using my back yard! Dont be stupid like me and get yourself locked in a contract where your crap is held ransom!

Comment: We had such a great experience this weekend with Extra Space Storage. Galen was friendly and soooo helpful! He offered us the free truck to help with our move, which saved us so much time and money. Comment: This location has very helpful and friendly service. This is the second time I have stored with this facility. I would recommend that everyone use Extra Space 787 11th St. for all your storing needs. This location is clean and secure. The onsite manager is awesome.

Comment: Extra Space is clean and offers competitive prices. I was there today getting some stuff from my unit and my car wouldnt start afterwards. Note to self: dont leave the radio on for over an hour. Mary from the office was so nice and used her car and her jumper cables to help me out. Im so glad I chose Extra Space :)

Comment: If you are moving or just need a place to store your extra belongings, Extra Space Storage in Tracy is your place. Their pricing is competitive and they are great to work with. The place is clean, and they provide top-notch customer service. Mary is always so helpful both in- person and over the phone. Going above and beyond, Galen drove us to the auto shop when our car battery died—just before closing! They even have a moving truck that customers can use--saving us several hundred dollars!

Comment: There is a big sign in front saying 1 free month, but you dont get it until you are there over a year. also the 10 x 10 room was actualy only 9 x 9. I would not make a big deal about it, but I left a 10 x 6 that was only half the cost. I should have just waited for a true 10 x 10 at my old place.

Comment: I cant say enough good things about Extra Space Storage and Cindy Lou. Moving is never a fun experience, and putting your stuff into storage can sometimes be sad. Those were the emotions that my parents went through. However, with the help of Cindy Lou, the experience was as pleasant as it could be. She was very accommodating and helpful whenever we needed it and extremely pleasant to talk to. The storage units themselves were extremely clean. We had our stuff in storage for 5 months and everything looks exactly as it did when we put it in there. There was minimal bugs which was a huge thing for my mom and dad. I recommend extra Space Storage for your moving needs. You most definitely will not be disappointed and your storage units are carefully watched 24/7!!!

Comment: I went to several places for quotes and my storage need. Beside the attractive pricing, the customer services was EXCEPTIONAL. Mary & Galen is super nice and attentive to my family needs. Also, the Free Truck is an added bonus to help with our moving easier. Comment: Me and my husband reserved a unit online, it as a Saturday night to we had to be there at 5:30 pm. Coming from the Bay we got stuck in traffic, so we called Mary to tell her we were not going to be able to make it.With out any kind of hesitation she said she would wait for us until we could arrive, when we got there she was so attentive and knowledgable! Made me feel so safe to leave some of my things behind! she is personable and very good with costumers.You know what they say, half a business is their happy costumers! and we are DELIGHTED!
