I originally only wanted to put a dresser, a dorm size refrigerator and a coffee table, but i was able to put in many other items and the price was right for my budget . The manager Maria was considerate and kind. She had excellent customer service skills topped with a smile. She really went out of her way to help me out and I am grateful.I had just gotten out of another storage facility that was not senior friendly more expensive and if they had to smile it would probably hurt their face.This Extra Space Storage facility is clean, my unit was clean. I have No complaints only appreciation.An Update is needed as New Management Does Deserve. Working with Jess, he was very helpful about my inquiry of a price hike in my monthly fee. He eased some of that to make it more acceptable and allowing me to be able to stay there. Hes been very polite and helpful recognizing my Senior needs, You Rock! 👊I appreciate you, Thank you x100

Comment: It was great the first year, it was sustainable and then with a 30 day notice the rent fee almost doubled 💀 that was it for me; I sold, gave away and donated 90% of what was in my 10x10 storage unit.Never again, unless its an extreme emergency.The employees were nice, professional and easy to work with. Comment: 1st phone contact was very helpful in locating the storage location nearby.He also offered me my senior discount with an option to use my military discount. He put me in a unit twice the size from my current storage location for less than what they raised my price to, over there.I was able to secure my new unit over the phone. Along with a move in date.My new storage unit is clean and well lit with a light that is motion sensitive. I easily pulled up to and drive away from this unit. Grounds are very clean. Onsite storage management are doing a good job of maintaining a well kept clean looking facility.

Things I dont like that the units have no lights in them so lighting in the storage units which can be problematic during night hours (have a flash light handy). The units are a little higher then some others but the nice thing is the gate hours are long from 600am til 10pm. I like that.Ps. Maria is the onsite manager, and she does an exceptional job. Great customer service, very friendly, accomidating, and been very patient with me. Great place to store you stuffs

Comment: When I first signed up for my storage unit everything was wonderful. It’s a very clean and safe area. I never complained once I realized my unit was not a full 5 x 5 that I thought I was paying for and then after several months my rate was increased, and I was not notified, I decided to empty my storage to save money since it was almost doubled and when I asked about a refund from what I had paid, I was told they do not give a refund for leaving early. So not only did they get several months of me paying twice what I originally was paying, they also get two weeks of payment that the storage is not being used. There are many other companies out there I would look into before going with this Extra Space. I do have a storage with another extra space up north and have used them several times they always refunded me the prorated amount after I left. So I have continued to use them.

Fantastic working with her; would definitely recommend!!!Fast forward a couple of months: Extra Space screwed me out of everything I had left of my then suddenly deceased mother. They auctioned off my unit when I was only two months behind. I managed to get the money together & called them on the morning of the auction to let them know I was on my way with the money & they sold it anyway! I missed it by 20 minutes, & they sold it for only $20 more than I had to give them that morning. To add insult to injury, they sent the balance to collections! & the guy working there that morning said, Yeah, that was a good one in reference to my unit. Yeah, it was a good one. All of my family heirlooms & my daughters baby stuff, everything precious to me.

Comment: Clean well maintained but Ive seen some units with nothing but used aluminum cans which I would think is a bad idea and could attract ants, meanwhile The caretaker seems a little bit nosy always driving around pretending to do something while rubbernecking into your business. I recommend asking if you can get a price locked in if you know youll be there for a while. Our monthly rates jumped over 25% after our first month there... Surprise!!! 😡

Comment: Very helpful staff friendly took us on his lil cart to show us the storage we were interested in. The only downfall was the hidden fees online said one price so I thought I was going to be getting one for a good deal around 60 -70 bucks a month but after all said and done it’s 113 dollars a month for a very very small unit. The hidden charges were the administration fee of $29 and the lock fee of $20 and the monthly insurance fee of $33 dollars.

They said they sent a letter to notify of a price increase, but I didn’t get it.I called a couple months later when I noticed the change after being busy with holiday travel. They lowered it again, but not to the amount I was paying before.I have never had a storage facility randomly raise the price that much before. Other than that, everything was fine, but I wouldn’t use their service again.

Comment: Staff were great, especially Jake, but the huge and sudden price hikes were unreasonable; I was never behind on payments yet I went from paying $120 a month to $242 a month because it said in my contract they could raise it with only 1 months notice. I had to move my things to another facility, which took more money, time and stress after 6 months of paying the new amount and having to borrow gas/food money to cover it.

Comment: I have rented at this facility on at least 5 separate occasions and have always been very happy with everything. They have the absolute best hours available, friendly and courteous staff, and everything works.The facilities are clean and easy to get in and out of with trailers. I highly recommend them and will undoubtedly use them in the future. A+.
