Im sure you know that already and are treating her like a queen.I know because Im inveterate traveler and Ive used public storage and U-Haul several times and I tell you this is my fourth experience in a row with ExtraSpace and I know Im in good hands. After an error on the part of their staff that overcharged him 3 times for a monthly fee, it took weeks for him to get a refund, and once he did an additional mistake was made by them which cause them to lock him out of the unit WHICH WAS PAID FOR. After attempting to get contact from their district manager, Kim Wetzel, he was ignored and no one ever reached out. Do not do business with them, ever!!!!

The Manager Terri was very helpful when I discovered that the space I rented was unsuitable for my requirements.She showed me multiple spaces until we found the one that works best for me. She credited my payment towards my new space and even offered me a choice of different locks. She made the move-in experience quite smooth and easy.This location is clean, secure and well maintained. It is near Santa Monica Water Garden, Metro Expo line station at 26th Street, and the expo bike paths.Overall, 5 stars for this location and the manager.

Comment: I don’t recommend. Rented here for almost two years. The price gouging and lack of customer concern was disappointing in my experience. They offer the first month free which is helpful in a pinch. But you loose so much money between late fees, lean fees, and the increase on monthly fees. The late fees increase each time the monthly fees increase and it’s already over priced. I’m now paying almost half the price of ES for a larger space at the same type of facility. Don’t rent with Extra Space. Unless you plan on loosing a lot of EXTRA MONEY. I will say the facility is clean and some of the staff (Brittany and Terry) have been extremely professional.

She did not mention to me that it was a temporary rental rate. The timing of the monthly rate increase (conveniently after spending time & money to move all my stuff into the unit) felt like a classic “bait & switch”. Also, they significantly reduced the access availability times each day to business hours only (no after hours morning/evening/holiday/etc.)Yet no concessions were made to current lease holders for this major change. Three (3) months after the rate increase and access restrictions, I made the frustrating and still-burdensome decision to vacate the unit.

Comment: I needed storage (safe and clean) quickly in Santa Monica today for some left over things that didnt make the office move. I found an amazing Task Rabbit mover and called Extra Space. I worked with Christian (who was patient and wonderful) on the phone and he hooked me up immediately with a unit and stayed on the phone with me. Within fifteen minutes, I signed papers via email, had a text sent to me with my gate code and unit number and was inside. The lock was inside the unit waiting for me. Later in the day, the Manager, Terry, called me to check in on my experience and to note that she walked by the unit to make sure it was all ok. Really, this business is wonderful. I had an unfortunate accident where I was attacked and robbed and ended up in the hospital for a few weeks and my locker payment got declined due to the people taking all my thing and spending all the money in my debit card. You are going to love the room I will show you. Come with me.” A personal tour? Comment: Super Clean! In fact, it smells like a hospital. Staff very courteous and friendly. Kenya and Myra we’re both SUPER helpful and very cool. Individual units are alarmed and cameras everywhere to mitigate theft.Its a little frustrating that all unit sizes are approximate .. so you can’t be totally sure your stuff will fit until you actually get there and measure stuff.First time renting space here so we’ll see how it goes but so far so good!

Comment: Yes, I have successfully moved out of unit 578, in fact I completed my exit yesterday, around 1 pm. Im not very skilled with online media, so let me repeat here what I told the staff in person yesterday.Extra Space Storage on Cloverfield Blvd. in Santa Monica, CA surpassed my highest expectations.When you enter the facility, everything seems to sparkle -- the floors are shiny, the units look and smell fresh, the lighting and air conditioning are great (especially in the HOT summer of 2017), and above all, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.Whenever I had a question, it was answered quickly, and often the staff person had an additional suggestion that made my work go faster and easier.The first person I met was Roy, then Jessica, who helped me every step of the way, then Terry during my final days of moving out.I will tell friends and family about the great experience I had at Extra Space Storage on Cloverfield. From day one when Jessica set me up until i turned over the unit to my other colleague Ive absolutely enjoyed my stay. Ive had storage units in several places throughout the city and found a great home for my business equipment at this location. What separates this facility from the others is the cleanliness and customer service. Jessica the manager is so friendly and helpful, it really feels like they care about the customer here. I can honestly say that this Extra Space Storage at 1707 Cloverfield Boulevard is a breath of fresh air!The team there including the Manager Jessica, understand customer service from all points of view including service (I was able to lease an emergency space after hours as Jessica waited on her own time to complete the signing and move-in), cleanliness (its simply the cleanest facility that I have visited let alone rented in) and functionality (when I took the first space there they sat with me for an hour to pick exactly the right space for the items, the right number as numerology is important and the best proximity to the loading door).I now live further away from this facility but I stay there as each time I drive in - I know the extra miles are well worth it!Thanks to Jessica and the team at Extra Space Storage Cloverfield Blvd. for offer a great storage experience that just keeps getting better!Love and Light!

Comment: Ive had several storage units in CA and NV, and Extra Space on Cloverfield is by far the best. It is modern, clean, and secure. The lot has plenty of space for moving trucks. Ive had an 18 wheeler pull up to drop off a shipment and it was no problem at all. Ive never had any rate increases, and since the location is in SM, there is no need for climate controlled units unless you are storing frozen goods. The place is constructed out of concrete and steel, so everything stays cool year round. Definitely ask about their AAA membership savings, as it pays to become a member just for the discount you can get here.
