Comment: UPDATE 4.1.24: LESS THAN A YEAR LATER, my monthly storage fee was increased to almost the price I was paying in the bay area. This is ridiculous. Downsizing immediately. Prices for Food and fuel to live are going up so why throw money down the drain. Its cheaper to start over later.The price always depends on location. Less in the Valley but its double in the Bay area for the same size.Customer service is great. Hours are convenient.

This location was easily accessible, as long as the office is open the restroom is available. They do have a dumpster on site which is uncommon these days for a storage facility I think it is accessible with manager approval. The gate closing time is 10pm which I found to be very accommodating.

What makes it worth it is the wonderful ladies in the office. EVERY time I go in there I leave with a smile. Customer service is top notch. Its nice to have someone helping you that is always cheerful and respectful. So I highly recommend this facility for the best low price and #1customer service! Comment: Ive stored my property in numerous storage facilities at various times in my life but extra space storage has always been the best to me. And Whitney is the greatest. I couldnt say one bad thing about the young lady. Every time I go in to pay my bill shes always smiling shes got positive things to say she always makes me feel welcome. And I never know the number to my unit and she always looks it up for me with a smile on her face she never gets frustrated to the fact that she has to do it every time. I had a tragedy in my life 6 months ago when my wife passed away. And the day after she passed I went in two extra space storage to pay the bill and get everything switched into my name. Got to explain to her who I was I had no idea what number my unit was or anything and she said she was totally sorry for my loss and comforted me with many pleasing and positive words. She always tells meyou got this, your wife is looking down on you right now and how well youre doing, keep up the good work. I wish there was more people in this world like her. I actually look forward to going and paying my bill every month knowing that I get to see her smiling face.

Comment: When you put “process” over being HUMAN, you lose your humanity.There’s furniture, television, video game systems in my storage unit. Items that are actually worth money. I lost my job and could not pay the bill.All I asked was to grab knitwork from my great-grandmother and my photos/birthday cards… things that the heart can not replace. But they said they *need* to follow process. Sure, if that’s what helps you sleep at night.I’m heartbroken.

Well, I will say that so far my experience with the staff at the Manteca, Ca. location for Extra Storage Space was impressive. My contact person at this location was Whitney. From the first phone call with her I felt comfortable in knowing she would be very professional, knowledgable and definitely would be my go to person moving forward. I decided I would bring in the new contract to her myself because I had a few questions before I signed the contract. Whitney answered my questions without hesitation.There are few if any companies that will express or show any concern for their customers wants and needs, very rare !!! Comment: Storages have gotten unreasonably expensive I got a storage in the Bay Area for $100 a month with public storage but here in the valley it’s almost double for the same storage this place had the lowest rates in town and customer service was amazing property was very clean and they have amazing security cameras everywhere they can see everything including license plate numbers I was impressedThe Manager Whitney was very professional very informative and helpful best customer service I ever got at any storage facility

She has an unnecessary attitude and was unwilling to call the manager to resolve an issue that is their fault. The pervious owners were great but they are nothing like them at all. Comment: I have been using this facility for almost a year, and I must say that they really go the extra mile to make sure that my storage is secure. Recently, I accidentally did not correctly lock my unit up using my own lock...but the staff was right on top of it. During their daily checks of the facility, they noticed the problem, and put a second lock on my unit so it was secure-as well as contacting me to advise me of the situation. It is nice to know that they are really looking out for the customer!Deborah and Joe have been so nice to work with- always attempting to be accommodating! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who requires a need for storage.
