Comment: We just rented a 10x10 unit here in March for $90 a month and in June only 3 months later they sent an increase to $190 a month!!More than double the original price 😳Right now online at this same storageI can rent the same exact 10x10 unit for $78 a monthNow that’s ripping people off!!Just ridiculous!! The price didn’t increase a littleIt actually more than doubled!!Obviously not a place you want to do business with!!

When the account was created, on line, I made it at the wrong Extra Storage. Steve quickly helped us obtain a unit at our desired location and then went above and beyond to reach out to the other location to close out the unit at the wrong location. His thoughtfulness, kindness, and understanding were greatly appreciated! Thank you for a great experience! I highly recommend this location!

I understand thats associated with cost of living etc. So I went in the office to express my dilema and I was kindly greeted by Shannon. I told him my story and he was able to accommodate me with a new unit just a few feet away from my old one for less under a new contract. That worked out great. Not only was my move super easy but now I have a monthly payment I can afford. Thanks again for all your help Shannon. I would definitely recommend your facility to a friend. 🙂

Anytime I saw spiders they were dead, so it was a relief to know that the facility is fumigated. I’ve had issues with the mobile website when making monthly online storage bill payments. Be careful with it! It will say payment failed when it actually went through and posted on your payment account. But again, when I called the office about the issue they were friendly and very helpful. Also be aware of rate hikes, if you ever have a question about your storage bill increase, call the office and ask for help! They are a great team! Thanks Extra Space!

That price is definitely not worth the small storage unit that I have. Their website is offering that SAME storage unit for far less, doesn’t make sense at all. According to their website, I can get a much larger unit for LESS than what they increased my rate to. I definitely don’t recommend renting a storage unit here.

Comment: This review is just for talking to Ricardo the owner of the location Im renting at and his help and information and the process to reserve. I had to repeat stuff to clarify a few times, I had a lot of questions, especially about rates rising from what Ive seen from other reviews. He gave me some reassurances but also was very honest. He answered all of my questions and didnt seem irritated with me having to repeat things or have him repeat so I made sure I understood every detail. Renting storage can be a stressful process because its an extra expense sometimes youre not expecting. This is one of those times. Theres so many places out there and theyre all trying to be competitive and offer you the best. Of course Im looking for the best rate but Im also looking for the best customer service and kindest people. Ricardo was that for me and I appreciate him taking the time to work with me.

They know how to run their business well and yet still treat you like a human being with compassion and friendliness. I have never had to search an associate to help me there is always someone at the desk unless otherwise posted and they come back at the time they say! So many other facilities I have had to search endlessly for someone to help me. The facility is always immaculate, well maintained and well lit. We didnt have much of a plan for how to get it done quickly on the same day but Shannon quickly came up with a great game plan that saved me a ton of money and time. We have become nomadic and travel from place to place and decided to just get rid of all the stuff in storage that we havent even thought about or needed in over a year. We didnt have much time before wed be taking off again to spend a month in a new place/new state. Shannon worked things out perfectly.While I still dislike the fact that rates can increase every few months for long term customers, the customer service here cant be beat. Went from 140 to 200 and there is apparently no cap on how much they can continue to raise your monthly price...prices are not static and youll end up being forced to pay much more. What you pay one month is NOT what you may be paying the next month. Not long term, loyal customer friendly at all. Only good for short term, and then if you dont want to end up paying far more than when you signed up, get out ASAP.Its a money trap where you will eventually have to pay to move all your stuff to another storage facility or get rid of your items. Ive been out of the country for the last few months and now this is something Ill have to do when I get back.

After purchasing my unit the actual assistant manager of the storage unit called me.Said she saw I purchased a unit and asked what was going to be stored. I advise her what I want storing and she basically said I can’t do this and that.“That’s not how we do it here, the people one the phone don’t work with us here so they don’t know what their talking about.”Very rude and unprofessional, was trying to upsale me into a bigger unit or something I’m not sure but she even included for me to speak to the manager because “that’s not how we do things around here”Long story short, I didn’t catch on to her b.s and I was able to fit everything In My storage without issues and still had more room to throw bigger items In there.Upon arrival I noticed my locker was still locked with a yellow one.I was forced to call office to remove it and the women who showed up unlocked it and walked away. No welcome nothing.mind you while I was waiting I walked around to the other units that were new and ready to move in and they didn’t have the yellow locks on it, just mine.But that’s just me and my experience. I have the climate control unit, it was clean and lock was there upon arrival.

Comment: Exceeding expectations.This is located a ways up Locust in an industrial area. You might have to dodge a few semi tractor-trailers on your way up towards the mountains. It’s easy to spot the facility’s tower on your right as you drive up there from the south.The facility is super clean with a nice selection of moving materials on display. I was there in late morning and there were several commercial and private tenants moving items about. The layout is easy to understand so I won’t get lost when I return. There’s plenty of space between the facing units to drive up and park right where I need to.I had reserved the space online, and Ricardo made completing the paperwork and financials easy. Both gentlemen in the office were polite and informative, anticipating my needs. They seem to know the tenants by name which speaks well to the facility’s retention rate.

First off, I would like to note that my dad started renting the unit when I moved out of my college apartment back in 2016. Changing the unit over to my name to take over the payments took less than 20 minutes with Ricardos help later on and closing out the unit, even less time than that. Ricardo is very mindful, aware, and carefully monitors the location he manages and also an extremely respectful person to speak with and considerate to his clients. My family and I have never had an issue with him and would recommend this place to others.

Comment: Service was superb! Ricardo is an Amazing person. I got the red carpet treatment! I know thats a little weird to say about renting a storage space but very necessary. Because of him Extra Space will be the only facility used for my storage needs. I will definitely recommend Extra Space to everyone I know.

Comment: Ricardo is the store manager there and i have to say his customer service is top notch. He explained the best deal I wouls get thoroughly and showed the units without any hesitation. The storages were great but we only saw the climate controlled ones so i cant say much about the non climate controlled ones. Prices are fair and the facility is really clean. Ricardo will take care of you. Highly recommended.

Comment: Thank you Carey for a great experience. Glad I spoke to you when I had my doubts about the other storage space I had recently rented (I had rented a 10x15 and It really only measured 10x13.4) . This unit is a much better value, facility is clean,climate controlled,interior lighting, hours are good and the staff is pro active in keeping an eye out for the security of the facility. Would highly recommend.

Comment: The Manager Ricardo was absolutely amazing. He made renting a unit very easy and thoroughly explained all the details of the agreement.(I ask a lot of questions) All the staff were very friendly, this location epitomizes excellent customer service. The units themselves were very clean and buildings were well maintained.
