I stopped in today and discussed the issue with Brad and Matt and they quickly provided solutions, options and answers. This is by far the best customer service that makes a huge difference in todays competitive market. I have had my RV at this site and only had one issue that was quickly resolved and I felt the caring, compassionate leadership and staff truly step up and treat me like family. Received a call while at work at a 12 hour shift at the hospital - clearly not able to answer thinking I could just call back. They left a voicemail saying “call to complete the move in” never once did they explain they would GIVE UP my reservation to someone else. Called back today and they told me they gave my unit to someone else. Customer service is trash was told they could refer me to another location I will not be doing business with this horrible company and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I did everything online. The instructions were easy to understand the units and facility is very clean. They are open until 10pm and that was my original draw but, the client services both on and off site have made my move-in a positive experience. Im very satisfied and would recommend extra storage to family and friends.

I decided to downsize to an outside unit and Matt was very kind and helped offset some of the issues (no fault of his) that occurred in my previous rental space. He gave me a $50 credit and did not charge me for the key lock. He was extremely sincere in addressing my issues and I walked out feeling very happy about choosing this Extra Storage location. I highly recommend this place and Matt!

Just charged my credit card. 63% increase in 4 months! Now I have to move all of my stuff again. Get a rate lock if you decide to go there.

But thanks to Amy Shaw everything worked out fine. She is the assistant manager here and a joy to work with. She was super friendly and kind and very empathetic to my situation. Amy is extremely competent at her job and willing to go the extra mile. She handled me with ease while dealing with multiple customers by herself all while the phone was ringing off the hook. I was VERY impressed. Because of Amy I got everything I needed. Plus the facility is really nice. She deserves recognition, and a raise or promotion. I have been a small business owner and recognize a diamond when I see one. Thanks Amy Shaw for turning a stressful situation into a great one!

Comment: Already a long time tenant at Extra Space Storage but had an immediate need surface that required me to lease a open parking spot for a month. I called Amiee Shaw at the Lake Forest, CA location and walked her through my dilemma. She was professional, courteous and very friendly and was able to put together a uncovered spot for me for one month. I dropped by, filled out the paperwork and paid for the months rent and everything was done in about 10 minutes. Comment: If this review was solely based on cleanliness and quality of space I would give it 5 stars. Here is why I gave it 2 stars.1. I was in a unit large enough to store a car and rented it for about 2 years. I could have used one of the much larger units they have at my location so I put my name on the wait list. When they finally had one come available they left a message on my cell. I called back within 24 hours and it was gone. I just felt burned and it wouldnt be challenging to have a better system in place that takes care of your customers.2. I have rented an outdoor parking space for the last year or so. After 2 months of renting they raised the rate by 25%. It went from $350 up to $472. That is why I left. Its all about the numbers. Once they have no vacancy they raise rents. I recommend looking for a place that has a 1 year rate guarantee or a set % increase. An increase of 25% is a blatant and abusive cash grab.

I dropped in just to see if they had a space and much to my surprised they did. In addition to the friendly staff, I found the site to be constructed in such a way that security was of little concern. The location was well situated for me and the hours of operation very convenient. If I were to mention any downside, it would have to be the cost. This being my first RV I had no idea what to expect. I did visit a couple of other sites, didn’t appear to be anywhere as secure. I believe that this Extraspace site will provide the security I’m looking for. I think it’s true that you get what you pay for. If things work out, I expect to be here for the foreseeable future.

I have had storage here either trailer or rv for the past five years. I have been noticing more criminal activity here. Most recently, my RV catalytic converter was stolen. A few months before that, a 30 gallon sack of “contraband” was stuffed under my trailer. I am thinking more security is needed here beyond the cameras. When I told management about the incident I was told to call my insurance company. I would say their so called “exceptional” security is actually mediocre at best.

You put a banner on your location with free month. Your website says free month. Then you use my cookies after I went on your website to follow my wife and I around the web with your free month ad. Once we pull the trigger on a storage rental you say its not available. Very convenient for you. Great false advertising ploy. The discount is available when you make it available.Honestly, if you had never offered the discount I would have rented the space. Comment: Had a storage unit here for a long time when they switched owners to become Extra Space Storage they raised the rates, alot! A increase of approx $150 over the course of a year. They do not work with you. Their Corporate office doesnt care and only cares about turning over new customers not someone who has been renting for a long time. My unit for a new customer is $300 yet I was asked to pay $450 and was told rates will increase to $500+ saying its market value (BS). I would recommend getting a storage elsewhere where they dont price goug you. I would give zero stars if I could.

Comment: I like the facility. It is clean and the staff is nice. I do not like that they raise the rates every 6 months, at a certain point it will be unaffordable. They offer move in specials $100+ less than what Im paying and will not match the price. If you are looking for short term storage then I would say this place is perfect. If you are looking for long term storage (business owners) then I would look for a facility that wont raise the rate as often.

Comment: I have been a long time customer of this location, originally with 3 storage units. I have been a loyal customer, since even before Extra Storage bought this location. The increases in rent come every 10 months. I just got my latest increase for one of my 5x10 units from $85/month to $125/month. I discussed the increase with the manager Abraham Obuaran who said it was not a mistake. So I cancelled the unit. It seems outrageous that the will advertise a $69/month web rate for this unit and a $91/month in-store rate, yet will raise a loyal customers rent to $125/month for the same inside unit.

The storage units are affordably priced, spacious and kept clean. The property is modern, upkept and large. The funny thing is we were driving and saw the Public Storage sign and turned, but turned too early and ended up in Extra Space Storage instead... best mistake! We got a unit twice the size of what public storage offered as an online deal, at the same cost. We will be here for about a year. 10/10 will return. Thanks guys.

I called and made an appointment and immediately received follow up call from Rodney from Extra Space storage . He was very easy over the phone explained and answered all my questions . We were looking for large parking spaces for my business vehicles and I was very happy when Rodney showed me the spaces and we decided to get 6 spaces at the end of the day . If you are looking for clean, organized, maintained, fully secured storage spaces no look further and the biggest bonus you will get is friendly staff that always there if when you need them professionally trained and very much customer service oriented .

Comment: I moved here from out of state and needed a place to store my pop up camper. Extra space had a space available and were very professional in handling the transaction. I dealt with the manager Rodney and he was wonderful. My only concern was the shock when I learned what the price of storage is. I have never had to pay for storage and it was way more than I expected. I pay the same for my pop up as a 40 ft. Rv. Its not Rodneys fault. That is just the way it is. Storage is expensive. Other than that, the workers there couldnt be nicer. Facility is very clean and seems very secure.

Comment: The staff is so friendly and helpful. I always feel welcomed and comfortable when I walk into the office. I rented a unit for almost a year and it was easy to pay online and send in my notice to vacate. I went to my unit, which is an indoor unit and it is always clean in the building, and I couldnt get my door open. A box had been crushed and a stack of boxes were leaning against the roll up door. A gentleman from the office (I feel bad for not remembering his name) helped me get my door open and was so kind about my situation. This is the cleanest storage facility, as a whole, I have ever rented from. If I ever need a storage unit again I will use Extra Space and I recommend them to anyone who needs a safe, clean, and secure storage facility.
