Comment: Easy process to sign-up and move in.However, They raised rates on me be nearly 40% at month number 4. Original rate was $276/month. Without any notice it went to $376/month. They claim they need to bring to market rates but same unit advertised on their website for $280/month.After calling it was renegotiated to $336/month and expected that rates would again rise at the 9 month mark. I moved out immediately.This company needs to re-evaluate their customer service. They they think they can charge whatever they want once they have you because they know how time consuming and how much of a burden it is to move all your belongings again.The 4.9 rating is because they encourage you to write a review on move-in. This place should have a 1 star rating or less.I would warn everyone against doing business with this company.

Comment: 5 Stars for customer service! Booked a unit online, went in to see the unit and the one they showed me had some signs of moisture and boxes stuck to the floor from previous tenant. Asked Yolanda at the front desk if I could see another unit, and she apologized and immediately showed me around multiple other units. I was able to pick one in the newest building that seemed brand new and had no moisture. So far very pleased with this location.

Comment: Great! It was a rough start though. We rented via their website and that was smooth. We even talked to the managers afterwards to verify our rental. They looked forward to seeing us when we were going the next morning when they opened up. So we arrived the next morning and the office was closed. Apparently there was a morning meeting they neglected to tell us about. Luckily, I dialed the next closest Extra Space Storage and they were able to help us out. They provided our entrance/exit code and we did not have to wait for the Oxnard managers to let us in. In a way, that was great customer service on the other managers part. So far, so good!

I spoke with the front counter person and after speaking for a couple minutes. This person informed me that the COMPANY does this.I was military at the time and was moving cross country. Doubling the price wasnt going to work for me.The next day I came back to cancel the unit and get a refund and the manager was a pro at making me feel like a POS while still admitting the price was going to double in 3 months. They clearly hired him for a reason because hes really good at his job.Iv never experienced someone gaslight and miniplate the conversation as well as him while still staying in the lines of being professional.Just... dont rent here. I had trouble completing my contract online, so I called the store directly and it was Sue who answered and extended her willingness to help me in the store, to just come on in. So I did and we got through the process quickly and now we went to see the unit. She helped me with my code and was very helpful with the quirks of the door that you have to push in, push down with your foot, and the lock is supposed to be flat side up. I continue to find John to be very professional and friendly, the facility be very clean and well maintained and the process is for initially renting and moving out Very easy and comprehensive. I would highly recommend the store if you need a place to keep your things.(Previous Rental Period) Kudos to John for being friendly yet professional, informative without being wordy and making us feel valued and welcome.After 9 months of occupancy has come to an end, my five star rating is sustained. Absolutely no problems with Ingress or egress from the facility, common areas of always remain Clean and Free of debris, office has always been very responsive to any needs or requests and, access hours are excellent. John and Ashley bent over backwards helping me when I was out of state getting my units ready for my employees to deliver my goods. They are super friendly and are always accommodating! I even got my units close together so I could have easy access to them for my logistical needs.They really look out for you. Called me when I had a new lock installed and they noticed wanted to make sure that it was me who replaced the lock. And they also checked the security footage when I thought My purse was stolen. They do Rounds constantly watching for people who should not be there and are picking up trash and pulling weeds. John and Ashley really take great care of this place!! A+

Comment: I’m in the military and I deploy rotationally so I needed to find a place to store my household goods while I’m gone. I was welcomed and shown all their available units. I chose the best one for me and we went from there. The first month is free so that is always a plus! They gave a military discount as well. Gaby and John were very helpful in what could have been a stressful process. I recommend for those who are active duty or anyone who needs something safe and secure.

Comment: Great customer service!! Gaby was a great help and got me into my units fast and with a smile. I needed to store a three bedroom house and my 68 van. After uhaul and public storage gave me false information, I was getting frustrated. Then I spoke to John and he was very understanding of my situation. He was able to set me up with two huge units. One for my stuff and the other for my van. Its nice knowing that my van is safe from the weather and my stuff is right there in the next unit. All with the first month free. If I need storage in the future, I will definitely be back. Thanks Gaby and John!!

Comment: This was the first time I have ever rented a storage unit and glad I rented here. I shopped around at a number of places in Oxnard, and this was the best. John and Nico are great, always helpful and there when I had a question. The units are clean and secure. I admire that John and Nico regularly ride (golf cart) around the entire property to ensure security and no issues exist. Thanks guys, if I am ever in the need of a storage unit in the future, I know I wont need to shop around, Ill be back.

Comment: John and Nico are both very efficient, friendly, and professional. I reserved an excellent unit at online pricing that was available right away. Before I moved in a larger unit became available that better met my needs. John went out of his way to contact me in a timely fashion and make sure that my needs were met. It was very easy to park in front of the unit and move in. It is not a crowded facility and it is very clean. The people in the office are very personable. I would recommend this storage facility for anyone.

Comment: John the site manager was a complete rockstar! Instantly introduced himself even though with another client. His professionalism was outstanding. I have stored here for a year now and brought in a friend to get a unit and see John frequently when I visit my unit he is always smiling and waving making everyone feel comfortable in the environment!
