Very well trained staff!They tinted the windows on my carAnd the results are Day and Night differences!!I appreciate the scheduling and how well they informed me of the entire process.I even found a weather tech phone cup holder that replaced the dog $.?/ one I got on Amazon!I will be a returning customer for sure!Im going to share this with my network and stream nights !

My friends all got their tint done here. I just picked up my 2nd car I’ve had tinted here. My first one had 0 issues and looked fabulous. All the employees are very kind, professional, and helpful. No pushy sales, just informative. I had. 2:30 appt and dropped my car off @ 9 and they were done with it before my appt even started! Not saying that will happen to you but either way they are timely and efficient. Even the car salesmen at Ford said this is the only place he recommends for tint. Thanks for the awesome service Extreme :)

Johnny Hernandez your sales rep was very helpful helping me find the right stero and speaker setup for my vehicle. Johnny was very polite and easy to work with. After installation Johnny walked me through the steps on how to use the new system. Also shared ideas on possibly in the future to and to it for even better sound. I got my vehicle tinted here and Marcos was very helpful with everythign that needed to be done prior. Everyone in office was very sweet and accomodating to my needs!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about tinting their car or for audio!!

Told them I felt a tweeter was distorted, just right side, or the speaker/crossover was wired bad or blown. They told me they would test all connections. 45 mins later they said it was a “bad tune”. All they did was change the EQ settings on the headunit???? If it was the HU EQ settings, why only one side bad? Made zero sense. Hoping to follow up with them and get some actual diagnostics done. I have a DSP/Amp too so I wanted them to verify the settings were correct on the actual tune (DSP, not EQ settings on a stock HU….). We will see. 1 star for now.

Good prices, went in needed to replace my speaker helped me get the best one. Went in no less than 15 mins got it replaced and great customer service and environment. They even checked and improved my sound quality. Recommend this place, best place in Grand Rapids!!!

My family and I have been using Extreme since they opened up shop YEARS ago and wouldnt go anywhere else. They are the best at what they do and go the extra mile for their customers. I cant speak more highly about them, so anyone looking to get upgrades or improve their ride should definitely get in touch with them.
Had a custom box made for my 2017 Camaro and the subs and amp installed. They did a good job keeping me informed of what was going on when I called. This is my third car they have done for me. Have a couple more things I need done and will go back to them.
Wonderful employees and service! Had a remote start installed on my CX-5 in just under 2 hours. Works like a dream with no issues. Will be bringing in all my cars here in the future!!
Very Professional. Eric helped me out with figuring out the correct tint for me. Dont know much about the laws. He was willing to answer all the questions and when it came to the deposit, he didnt push me to go with them. He encouraged me to shop around. Almost made me want to book the appointment right then and there! Not sure if I will go with them for the tint simply if I can find a cheaper place. But if you have a little extra, I would for sure go here.
Had PPF installed as well as window tint. They did a fantastic job on install and explaining the entire process. The prices are extremely reasonable and the technicians are real pros. Im super happy with the finished job and will trust them with any of my vehicles in the future. Great experience from start to finish.
I had this aftermarket radio installed about two months ago it’s been a living nightmare I paid $800 & something dollars for it n I’ve been back up to extreme car audio three or four different times because it wouldn’t power on and there’s lines going through my screen here it is today Monday, November 8, I called up to their shop and spoke to Eric and he told me that it’s the part that’s connected to the radio that’s causing it to go out😡😡 I do not believe that I believe that they blew a fuse or something and for $800 I feel that he should guarantee me more then this😫 this is exactly why people have lawsuits
I purchased a whole new radio system as well as all new speakers for my car. I made an appointment and they told me to drop it off at 9:00 when they opened and that I should be done around 1-2. Called at 2:30 asking about it and was not done til 4. I’m ok with them taking their time as it definitely was a tedious task. The first thing I noticed when entering my car was my driver side door handle. It was no longer flush to the door and was sticking out. I also noticed that the door panel was a little loose on the driver side. They put the old speaker and radio components on the ground on the passenger side which was great. I looked in my back seat and lifted up one of my bags and as I did I noticed a screw sticking straight up. Little concerned that there is a spot that is missing a screw somewhere in my car. Other than that the speakers and radio works to a T and I’m very happy with my $700 purchase. Extreme has a lifetime warranty on all installations and if you aren’t happy with the install you can take it there and they will make it right. I did just that and they kept their word and fixed the small errors that I noticed. Overall OUTSTANDING customer service. They noticed I was upset about the messy car and made it right! Full car detail, and they did an amazing job too! 10/10 would recommend these guys. Pablo and Nick, I want to say thank you for going above and beyond with your customer service, thanks guys!
I went hear to have the windows tinted on my A4. The quality of their work was excellent and has lasted really well, but they told me it would take 3 hrs to do the job and it took 5. This caused an issue with my schedule which was annoying, but everything else was okay.
I traded my 2020 lease in for a 2016 Jeep. But it had a old outdated stereo. And my lease had a 8” screen with Apple CarPlay. So needless to say I wanted to upgrade the Jeep so I can have access to apple car play again. They scheduled the appointment and got me in when everyone else in the area was scheduling 1-2 months out. They did a great job! And…they were very quick with the new radio install. They answered any questions I had before the install and even talked to me about other services they offer that I might like. I will definitely be back in the summer to get those extra add ons. Our experience was awesome. Eric went far and beyond explaining in detail about the difference in tint to make sure we were happy with what we wanted done. I had a great time dealing with these guys!!I am always intimidated going to these type of shops because I really do not know much about cars and their upgrades. But, they always treat me very well and answer all my questions politely. My dad who is 85 and from Argentina has also has had work done to his car here is very comfortable with these guys.Hats off to Rene who gave me the best price in town for window tints in GR!!!

My father took his Cadillac CTS in to update his stereo. After the job was completed they left ALL of THEIR mess left in the back seat. This is the old stereo but they could have picked up THEIR mess. Upon closer inspection of the car we also found that they chipped a piece of the car off when they were swapping pieces. The final and I would say biggest upset is the dramatic difference in sound quality, the Bose Premium surround sound sounds like a shell of its former self! We found that the two subwoofers were not even working anymore after they upgraded the stereo. Overall very underwhelmed unhappy and disappointed with the job performed. It is super unprofessional to leave the vehicle in its current state! Do not recomend to anyone!

I love my tint! This place is the best! They were very professional and courteous. I got tint for my car to help with the glaring sunlight that would trigger my migraines. What a great place. I went in a week ago to look for some upgrade options on my cars audio and I was so impressed with their options and prices. I was helped by a wonderful dude named Henry, so if you see him, have him help you out! He even hopped in my car and helped adjust my highs and lows on my receiver! Totally recommend this place if you are looking for audio upgrades.
This place is a great option to have your audio system upgraded. I took my Camaro in and they ordered me a stealth box and installed a temporary sub until it came in. Install is now 100% complete and they did a wonderful job i definitely recommend this place to anyone for their audio needs. Good job guys :)
Extreme Car Audio has done a fantastic job when it comes to customer service, quality installations, and affordable pricing. Ive gone through them to tint all of my windows and it turned out beautiful. I later went through them to change and install a new radio unit which was one of the best things I did. I would recommend anyone to go and check them out!
I took my truck in to have the front windows tinted. Scheduling and deposit was all done online. They started immediately after handing them the keys. Best part was they had the job done in less than 30 minutes. Quality job and it matches the GM rear window factory tint perfectly.
My wife bought me a new 2021 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition and the front window tint was way lighter than the back. The guy’s @ Extreme are fantastic!! Now the carpet matches the drapes…well done Extreme Car Audio!!!

Made an appointment to install a Gentex review mirror. The first appointment was for 9am and car was not started until 10:30am. The mirror could not be installed this appointment due to missing parts. The soonest they could reschedule was a week later. The second appointment started on time and service was completed in a timely manner. I asked if the car was all set, did the review mirror (with a built in compass) need to be calibrated? The answer was you are all set, nothing to do. Upon driving home I noticed the compass only displayed South and Southwest. I called Extreme Car Audio and ask, does the mirror need to be calibrated? They were polite and said no calibration shouldnt required. They then said they would investigate and call me back. Its been over a week and no call back. I would not recommend this business.
They did really nice work but we’re overwhelmed by volume. I had to come back 3 times for a tint. That said, Nicky and Melissa were fantastic and all their tech staff were super courteous, knowledgeable and helpful.

These guys are class acts and full of knowledge. I’ve serviced my cars here for years and never once had an issue. ECA has fixed issues created by other shops and are world class when it comes to tinting, audio and wiring.
My front speakers in my 2009 ford escape blew - so i called extreme and made an appointment for as early as they could get me in (which was 2 weeks). 10/10 would recommend!

I brought my new 2020 Honda CR-V in to have my front driver and passenger side windows tinted, and Extreme Car Audio did a fantastic job! They were great in helping me select just what I wanted, and I am very satisfied with the results. Having tinted windows to block out the glare and strong rays of the sun makes such a difference when driving, and ECA’s prices are reasonable and truly worth it. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to have your windows tinted. I love mine!

Had to follow up on my quote 3 times.But still nothing. I know it can get busy especially these days but it’s been a week. No contact. Not even a follow up or note that it could take longer. He mentioned Two quotes he prepared, plus a phone call after the email was sent to assure I got it today. Nothing. After 7 business days of no contact on your side I’m forced to look somewhere else.Bought speakers in the past and was looking forward to returning as a happy customer.My first experience was Unfortunately the better one.I guess my business is not wanted.Very unfortunate.

Extreme is the best place to have any work done, I’ve had 4 vehicles tinted there and all of them had turned out amazing. They have always been on time with getting the work done and the staff is great and treat you with respect. I have recommended people to go there to get work done and all of them were extremely pleased how great the work is. Cristian is the guy to go to have your windows tinted without doubt does the best job, I have been to other places and went to extreme to have them remove and retint because of the poor quality of other shops. Keep up the great work!!
Last year paid to have my new truck tinted all the way around and was told the tint is lifetime warranty and the guy working went as far as telling me if anything happens to it even if your kid accidentally scratched it or a dog it would be covered and I was surprised to hear that! Anyway one window has 2 little holes in the tint and I called and they informed me who ever told me was wrong only thing they’ll cover is if the tint started peeling or fading and that’s it! So I asked for a price to do one window and was quoted $147 for one window wich is half of what I paid for the whole truck (5) windows !!! Horrible customer service! They told me one thing to sell the tint then don’t stand by it!
I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have never had a good experience with this place since the day the remote start was installed in my car. Last year I requested to have a remote start put in my 19 Toyota Highlander and was told they would install one that would work via an app and also I would not have to carry two key fabs. When I went to pick up the car after installation, I was given a key fab in addition to my factory one and told that I had have both as they couldn’t program the factory one. Their resolution was for me to have another remote start in my car that would use an app on my phone. They forgot to mention that the app is subscription based too. So this started the beginning of the terrible customer service. I’ve had the remote start in my car for a year now and the app based one rarely works. It always says to check the device as it is offline. It works about once every 50 tries so I use the second key fab remote all the time instead. Such a waste of money for the Drone mobile app. I finally reached out to Drone Mobile to see what they could do. They gave me three options - they soft reset it, and they gave me two hard reset options of which I have done all of them. Nothing worked so Drone advised me to take it back to the place that installed it. Bad idea! I had an appointment on Wednesday at 11am and I dropped my car off on Tuesday evening. Extreme had my car all day and I never received any communication from them so I finally called at 5pm. When I called I was told they reset the Drone device and it should all be fine. After I told them I already reset it per Drones directions and the app still doesn’t work, I was told I would need to call Drone myself. I went to pick up my vehicle and got there at 6pm (again my appt was at 11am) and the app still didn’t work and still gives me the same error. Two gentlemen got on the phone to call Drone mobiles dealer support line and were waiting on hold for over a half hour, while I stood there. I finally got frustrated and asked for my key back and wanted to know why no one called Drone during the time they had my car there. They had my car there all day and DID NOTHING. They say they guarantee the parts and labor but there is no way I would ever recommend getting anything installed by this place.
Extreme does the job and once again I’m very impressed! They installed the new Pioneer 10” screen sound system along with the dope Momento M6 Car Monitoring Video camera in my Escalade. The install went awesome and looks great! Thank you Nick for going over and beyond explaining my new system to me. This is a brand new system that just came out and Nick was on top of all the necessary components to get this system installed to my exact details. Nick has been my sales guy for over 8 years at Extreme. His passion for his job shows and says a lot about Extreme and how they treat their employees. This is the place to go for any project you have in mind for your vehicle. Thank you for another great experience!

Took my car there in February to get a car starter. They messed up every wire under my dash. I took it to kia first and they said it was the starter so I took it to extreme car audio they said it was to do with the car and take it back to kia so I took it back to kia to be told the same thing its the spliced wires under my dash. So now I have to wait again to take it back to extreme car audio where they need to give me my money back and should allow me to keep the car starter and fix it the right way but refund me for the inconvenience of their lies saying its nothing to do with them. Bad place. Dont take ur car there if u want electrical problems after having something installed.
Had an appointment scheduled for window tint, we drove 2 cars close to an hour to get there, with a 14 month old baby, only to be turned away completely because someone failed to enter the appointment into the computer. We pleaded to be squeezed in, the employees were rude and unprofessional, hung up on my husband so I went in...was treated with disrespect and told to have a nice day when it was completely ruined by their incompetency. I do not recommend this place to anyone, with these attitudes they are probably incompetent at the work they do too!
This is the second vehicle that I’ve brought here to have tints put on. The staff is always friendly and efficient at getting what I need done. Will recommend.
Extreme did a terrific job of installing my speakers & radio unit. They Took all of my questions & concerns seriously. Nick is terrific.One words of caution: if you are getting work done on an older car, beware the installers might not be as gentle with the plastic as you would be. My plastic housing had two new cracks after they were done. I didn’t make an issue of it because I’m eventually going to get a new piece to replace it.
I had a new stereo system and back up camera put in my 2014 Z71 and they exceeded my expectations. Sales was very knowledgeable and Tech checked it out before installation. Tech took the time to show me some functions of the system after the install too. Wasnt the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend them!

Got my Hyundai Genesis tinting done here a few weeks ago and so far I am very happy with the results. They worked with me on the price and I will definitely be back! Lucky for me, the top trainer of the tinting company used was there to do my car as well.
Had them do the window tinting on our Camry this summer (2018)--they did a super job. Three months later, I am still very pleased with the product and the installation. I will definitely be going back to Extreme the next time I need this done!
If I could give this place a zero I would!Very unhappy with overall work done.Had two 12 subs installed with a bass knob.Sound is sub par and bass knob is already falling off.Hung up on by Nick.Also was quoted 130.00 to install front lip then a month later was told be Nick he wouldnt do the work.Will never return and I suggest you dont as well!
Extreme Car Audio saves lives. If I had still been driving around with nothing but a radio when they started playing that Mariah Carey Christmas song, someone would have died. Instead, I drove up to see these folks, picked out a glorious Carey-free car stereo, complete with CD player, aux jack, and Spotify hook-up, and drove away a few days later with it blasting away the holiday blues, happier than any Christmas song has ever made me.

I have had two vehicles tinted at extreme, and they do an Amazing job. I drove 140 miles to have them do the work on my car. I have not seen anyone who can match there quality and speed. Tinted my brand new 13 Fusion Hybrid in less than 2 hours (from me walking in the door to me getting my keys back). I DO NOT HAVE ONE BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT EXTREME. Very competitive pricing also. They will do it right the first time, dont go anywhere else for you window tint.
Arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment to get my Windows tinted in my car. Was told it would take approximately 2 and half to 3 hours. I was out the door within an hour and a half. This is the second time weve been there for tinting and they are amazing. Very professional and quick. I paid exactly what I was quoted for 3 days prior to the appointment. Thanks again guys!!!
Well for starters I had to go in about 10 times until they could actually install it bc they don’t know how to manage time. They installed an amp and a line out converter and managed to mess it up. Didn’t run 2 rcas so 2 speakers don’t work. Brought it in multiple times after that and it’s still messed up and they’re so lazy they won’t fix it. Avoid this place
Awesome I love my new system took a lil longer than told but it was worth it update my radio has been serviced 2 times now replaced with a brand new one and installed with a crack in the screen
I had my car tinted here about 2.5years ago they did a good job but unfortunately my tints turned purple. I had called them to get it fixed because it came with warranty and they did not want to honor the warranty. They wanted to charge me to re-do the tint job for their cheap tint they used. Never again will i go there. For the customer information please do your research on the tints these guys use. Cheap tint dont last long, especially when they dont honor their warranty.
Super helpful sales staff. The sales person was great about talking through the remote start options and finding one that fit my needs and my budget. The installation was fast and exceptional. Never again will I need to enter a cold car thanks to Extreme. Except those times when I forget to start my car which, sadly, is often and no fault of Extreme Car Audio.

Great service. Had my windows tinted. Came back 2 months later because a few small imperfections popped up on my windshield. Pablo replaced the tint free of charge, no questions asked.
They installed a very expensive remote start and alarm system for me, and did it quick. Only problem was it wasnt the right one, so they wanted me to drive an hour and a half each way to replace it another day.Be prepared for no support after your purchase, Ive called to ask a question multiple times about my system and have been hung up on and left on hold, and all this just days after I bought a $650 remote starter. Theyre more than happy to help if you walk through the doors but its completely unnecessary to in this case. Manager was unfriendly but the rest of the staff was nice
My husband and son dropped my car off at 2pm (with an appt.) to get a 2-inch hitch put on. They were told it would take about an hour. They came back at 3:45 and they hadnt even started it yet! The 3 of us went back at 5:30 and the guy was standing behind the car, waving his foot, trying to get the sensor for the back door to work. We walked in and could see the guy still waving his foot under the bumper, and then he hauls off and KICKS my car because he couldnt get it to work! When I confronted him, he claimed he only kicked the trailer hitch he had just installed. The manager walked out to talk to the guy about it and came in and told me the same thing.When we had first walked in, the manager (Nick) told us the guy was done and was just cleaning up. A half-hour later, I said, I thought you said he was done? The manager says, He didnt realize he was going to come across a problem with it. Um, I could tell he was having problems when we walked in, dude! Then he says, He didnt drop it off until 3pm anyway, and I told him we were running behind. Ah, yet another lie. At no point did he call to say they were running behind, and no, the car was dropped off for a 2pm appointment time.This place was recommended to us by the Honda dealer where we had just bought the car, but there is no way in hell I will ever go back to them for anything. Not only did they lie to my face more than once, their employees apparently cannot control their frustrations and will take it out on your car. Even though his foot might have landed on the hitch, that is NOT how you treat other peoples things, nor does it look professional.AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Their store is really neat, and professional. Their windows tinting service its really great, its my second time getting a car tinted with them, and I do not regret it. Some of their services are expensive, but their warranty seems something to consider if it goes bad.

The equipment they gave me worked out to be a great and complete package for my classic car, and the guy who helped me was able to answer all of my questions in the store. Just make sure you verify the price before walking out the door and they should make sure youre taken care of.Original review:I want to say really nice and helpful guys BUT their audio equipment prices are significantly higher than anywhere else which makes me question their authenticity at all. I bought about $650 of speakers and an amplifier here. A couple weeks later I was on Crutchfield and discovered that everything I bought at Extreme Audio was marked up about 33-50% from its actual price (i.e. they charged me $300 for an Alpine KTA-450, which is only sold at $200 anywhere else). I would have saved $150 out of $650 if I bought from Crutchfield.Google the price of anything they try to sell you. Also consider that if theyre willing to upcharge clueless customers, the expert opinions they give you might be solely focused on the sale too.
After I had already scheduled an appointment well in advance I showed up to Extreme on the appointment day and when I arrived I was told only 1/2 of the tint job could be done with appointment and I would have to come back again if I wanted the job completed. When I originally scheduled appointment I was told all would be done in one trip. Extreme waited until I got to their shop to tell me they could only do half of the job promised. Would not recommend using this company for window tinting.
They do great work , held my car and weren’t able to get to it, of course I was upset , the manager did everything he could to make it right . Timing estimates are a little off but overall great service
I recently had Extreme Car Audio install a remote car starter into my car and they were great to work with. I dropped it off at 5PM and it was ready for pick up by 8PM - on a Friday! They answered all my questions and it was an incredibly simple process. Great experience.

Came in 3 months ago and was quoted a 100 for my install, I didn’t have the right part so I has to find it. Finally found it call them and they quoted me 120. I still took it in they said it could probably me 80 depending on the time it took. I went in at 1:30 and literally watch the tech at 1:45 he disappeared and didn’t come back out til 2:15. He then start working on it and finished at 2:30. He drove my car out and I checked it over and noticed that it was install wrong. He then drove it back into the bay and stayed ankther 30 minutes. I was charged 115 for something that could have been finished in 30 minutes. I feel they get over on the customers and should treat them right. Will not be going back going to give Revolution I’m Grandville a try
We had an honest human error, Nick called me the next day and apologized for the miss communication and made it right! They do care about their customers, they showed me that first hand! Thanks guys for being a LOCAL business that supports local customers!!!!
Detailed my car a month ago. Didnt do trunk. Blemishes on front bumper, about 3 weeks went back wanted my jeep under body cleaned. Pressure washed. Horrible job on that, plastic has white blemishes all over them, dash still had dust, hair on it. Back looked to be untouched as far as vacuuming goes, underbody looks like it got hit in couple spots but wasnt no place near cleaned when they Said the would. Not mud either. Just dirt, good job on tint, installing remote start seemed fine. But avoid this place for any detailing they suck at it!
Was greeted by a nice person on the phone when I called to ask about trouble I was having with my remote starter. Was told that they would be able to assess the problem and they would have no problem taking a quick look at it. They said if it was a simple reprogram it would be $17, which I thought was great. When I got there, the manager said that he wouldn’t even look at it for less than $37. Not happy that I drove 40 minutes round-trip for that.
Excellent job - they installed a stereo system in my Cobalt last year (four speakers, amp and head-unit with bluetooth). When my car died, I stripped the Pioneer system out they were very competitive and accommodating putting this kit into my newer Subaru! And now they did a superb job of installing window tinting

Lee and the gang recently hooked up my ‘16 BMW 535 xdrive msport with; JL Audio amp/10” sub, custom box, to augment stick factory sound, and installed a Stealth Hitch for my mountain bike rack. In a word, the work performed is flawless. This car is my precious baby, and I was a little anxious about making these modifications to it. The precision of the work, the performance of the mods, Lee’s service guiding me through the process, and finally, Mike, who did the work, were all top form. I am super fussy about execution, and results; looked everything over very carefully and I am 100% satisfied and blown away by the work. Lee picked out the system after consulting with me and it sounds just awesome now. Especially when I am escaping to the trail with the Stealth Hitch+ rack keeping 2 bikes secure even when winding through twisty roads at speed. Ive trusted Extreme with everything from tinting windows and custom racing stripes to installing stereo systems and radar detectors. They have a very knowledgeable, experienced team and Id highly recommend them!
I went there for a remote car installation (Infiniti G35). When I purchased the unit, they said it could be transferred to another vehicle for $150 - including removal and re-installation. I ended up having it transferred about 5 months later. The removal took 1.5 hours (instead of the quoted half hour to hour), but they said the total charge would still be $150. I therefore set up an appointment for the re-installation (in a different Infiniti) a few days later. Unfortunately, they didnt record my appointment, so after a 20 minute drive there, I had to re-schedule, turn around and go home. When I finally did get it re-installed a couple weeks later, the total charge was a bit over $200, because Infinitis are more difficult. While that may be the case, there was definitely poor communication of the pricing and scheduling.Based on some of the previous reviews, it sounds like this isnt the first time this has happened - beware.Update: I had my remote start transferred again to a different vehicle. This time, they got the scheduling right, but still charged more than what they had quoted over the phone (as they seem to have done to other customers), even after I was very clear what type of vehicle I had. I was hoping this experience would be better, but it really was par for the course. Sticking with one star.
Essentially, a 3 hour install that took 9 hours.Customer Service: Fail. I understand things happen but when you tell someone it should take 3 hours and you havent called by hour 4 and havent even started installation by hour 4 you cant call? After I finally left right at closing 9 hours later, I still never got an apology for all the delays. (Did get a sorry from another counter person.)Installation: Not sure. On the ride home it appears the install is done correctly, but have to wait and see. Wasnt too impressed with the remote rolling around on the back floor. Also, for the extra money youre paying here, would have been nice to have the rear camera set-up and radio set up at least with the clock and a few basic items.

Will never go here again. As I’m waiting in the waiting room I hear my car start up then I hear my gears grinding as they don’t know how to drive a manual then the guy started reving my car up to hear the turbo. Bad experience. Guys name was mark.

The car started put on me it was really excellent good the XM satellite radio that put in for me it was good if you want your something done to your car take it to them they will do it right
I had to take my car in for mechanical work elsewhere and afterward one of my groundings went bad and the subwoofers werent working. Called Extreme who made it very clear they only do appointments and told me it would be $32.50 for the first half hour just to have my system looked at and after a half hour they would charge me more. Fine, whatever, bad grounding and some crossed wires should only take like 15 minutes. I got to the appointment and waited FOR OVER AN HOUR before they even looked at my car. Nic, at the front desk, realized I was getting pissed and took it in himself to fix the wires but they couldnt even figure out the bad grounding issue. Because they made me wait so long Nic didnt charge me. It was still frustrating that they made a big deal about the appointment but then didnt even keep the appointment themselves. And when I got my car back they had turned up the subs all the way so they could shake the building, clearly not respecting the customer or equipment. Very frustrating experience.

They installed my own purchased front and rear camera. Since then my radio doesnt pick up stations as well as before. Does anyone know a place I can get this corrected? The techs at Extreme Auto tried but unsuccessfully.
They were very helpful when I bought my pioneer avic-8201NEX I got it there and they hooked it right up.After I started using it with my iPhone 7 PlusIt would say format not read, or no device, and that would happen at least once a day, and I put up with it😞 then the back up camera quit working, at that point I wanted to return it but didn’t have time, then the Siri button quit working I would have to press it like 30 times before I got it to go. Then it would just quit all together when I hit a bump. Then the home button quit I needed to put a lot of force on the button to get it to the home page, finally I brought it to Extrerme car audio told Nick the same thing I just wrote above, he said that would take a look at it. They did look at it and said nothing was wrong wit it , and questioned my ability to operate the unit.I told them I know exactly how to operate it.They basically called me liar and said they can’t do anything.The unit is still under warrant and they said that doesn’t matter , the unit has been discontinued, and they would not honor the warranty.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESES CROOKS

OMG , he is right , a couple years after install I am having start problems with me diesel truck , Ive trouble in the past with it the alarm going off random and they tried to fix that , I just quit using the auto start , but now my truck will not start. I mechanic shop diagnosed hack job, three hours later un doing what they did my truck runs again. , wires spun together , resisters hanging , my mechanic said it was the worst install he has ever seen, plus he said they make plug and play auto starts these days , if I want auto start he will get one from dodge. Call this place to see if they would look at this job , said they dont do work like that , well they were the only ones to work on my auto start, installed new on 28th st

I cannot say my experiences with Extreme Car Audio have always gone off without a hitch but they ALWAYS made it right. I have had them install high end audio and window tinting and would recommend them highly.
Hack artists that dont cover their own work. I took my Jaguar there. I brought my own equipment and had them install it. My sub woofer blew after 3 days from clipping. I thought I had it up too loud, but that should not have been a problem, considering it was professionally tuned. I bought another sub, more powerful, and tuned the amp down myself. It lasted about a month. Clipping. I just bought another sub, more powerful, tuned the amp down more. Still clipping. I called them, wanting it fixed immediately. They (Phil) hung up on me. He HUNG UP ON ME. Do not take your vehicle there.

Obviously these folks handle some big ticket projects for big time clients. I came in for a few odds and ends for a subwoofer install. I left with the stuff I needed plus great advice and a smile on my face. Its so refreshing to have gotten the same level of customer service spending $30 as I might expect spending $3000.

Seems like every time I stop by here (and its not that often) to price out an accessory (dvd for my car, car alarm, etc) I get the impression all they want is to make money out of me. One time I stopped by to ask their help on how to disable and remove an alarm they previously installed on a used car I recently got. I know they could have told me how but they implied they should do it and charge me. My thought was why should I pay for work I had no need for. If they wanted my business in the future they could have offered that information. Because of this I do my purchases online like with Crutchfield to avoid the hassle.

Apparently a 10yr old Volvo is too much for them to handle replacing just a radio. They told me the only way possible to get a new radio in the car was to replace the entire audio system. Even then they couldnt get the steering wheel controls to work.... That was a waste of 4 hours of my life

2022-06-05This place is awesome! I worked with Nic who walked me through the options to update my cars audio system and assessed a couple special requests I had for installation. They installed all new speakers, a receiver, an amplifier, and a subwoofer in a custom enclosure for me, all within a day. Everything is solid, and my new system sounds amazing!Honesty is also a key practice here. A couple speakers I was quoted and originally paid for were not needed. Nic let me know and issued a refund for those, which I am very thankful for. 11/10 if you need some work done to your cars audio system, even if you have an older car, this is the place to go.

2022-01-14I have nothing to say that others havent already covered, but just to reinforce others comments: Enthusiastic professionals that really seem to enjoy what they are doing. Explained my options without being pushy. Listened to and answered my questions. And despite being absolutely swamped when I was there, they took the time to make sure each customer was dealt with one at a time, patiently and completely.I had window tint done on my 2022 MINI Cooper JCW Hardtop. They even put a sticker over the power-window controls to remind me not to roll it down for a few days until the film had a chance to settle. They have a nice waiting area with free wifi. This was my first work from them, but it wont be my last.They offer a lot more than audio and window tint--wheels, truck bed covers, all sorts of aftermarket electronics, security, navigation. Seriously, if your vehicle needs anything, these guys should be your first call.

2022-07-23Brought my Suburban in to be tinted. I picked it up and drove home. In the course of 10 minutes I was back as my door handle on my passenger side was broken. The handle would come out but the door would not open. I also heard things falling behind my door. Also the door came off on my passenger rear door. I return and immediately was told they didnt break it. They tell me they will talk to their sister company Abra Auto Body next door and call me. They took my VIN down. This was Saturday. I then call on Thursday as I have not heard anything and talk to Nick the manager. He says someone will call me back. Saturday comes back around (a week later) no one has called me. I go up there and they pull the truck in and check it out. They say they didnt break anything. They checked everything before doing the work but didnt check functionality upon completion. If they had they would have seen the door didnt open and my passenger rear door wont even open because the inside of the door was not put on properly. I had zero issues with opening my doors or anything before they did the work. They were not hanging off and all my doors opened properly. Their answer was that they would provide me with their dealer pricing to assist me in buying parts. They refuse to fix what they broke. I will never use them for anything at all. They cannot or will not take responsibility for breaking my door handle and other door. They stated it was wear and tear. Thats ridiculous. They opened up both doors. Both doors were working properly before they opened them up. Now my handle has completely fell off. I have to replace the wholr assembly. I also have to replace the passenger rear door as that door doesnt even open because its hanging down and gets caught on the interior. I would not recommend them for anything as they do not take any responsibility. Sad that they wont rake responsibility for what they broke on my vehicle. I wish I could give negative stars.

2022-08-07Its been many years since Ive done anything in regards to car audio. Got a new phone and wanted to utilize android auto so needed to upgrade my car stereo in my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. I went to a local car audio source that was the go-to back in the day. They told me because of the year of my car they couldnt get the parts to install the stereo and suggested I may be able to find them myself on Amazon. Needless to say, huge disappointment. I happened upon Extreme Car Audio and decided to see if they could help me. Johnny and Nate went above and beyond to hook me up! I didnt have a brand in mind just anything android audio. Johnny suggested a Sony that looked pretty simplistic and had everything to fit my needs. He looked up my car year and they had everything needed in stock! They booked me an appointment for the following Saturday! Everything installed in under 2 hours! Beautiful job! Looks amazing sounds amazing! Exceeded my expectations by far. After the install Nate took the time to help me get my phone connected and go over the bells and whistles. Everyone there are professional and courteous. I cant rate this place high enough. 2022-08-11I had my windows tinted and at the end the tint looks good. However, at pick up, I noticed right away there was a long hair or fiber between the glass and film which was visible from across the parking lot. I understand debris can come from anywhere, but to not check your work and wait for me the customer to find it is unacceptable. They did offer to re-do it on the spot but now I had to wait another 40 mins for the fix.

2022-05-23Extreme Car Audio is the place to go for professionalism, knowledge, expert work, and friendliness! My daughter had her windows tinted (with the heat stripes) - ZERO complaints! My son-in-law actually said, “I trust them more than anyone for this stuff”. I got a new media player put in that works with my back up camera and hands-free setup. They educated me on everything before I left. Nic was GREAT!! I’ll send anyone and everyone I know that way!! Thanks, guys, for being so GREAT!!

2022-08-17Very very happy with the install they did. Had subs, amp and factory radio swap in a 2020 silverado. They were the only place that told me they could do it and they did. 10 out of 10 would recommend them. Appreciate everyone on the team and that helped with the install. Great customer service.
